"description": "So, another piece. This one being a new concept and if it does well I might do some more. This being the trapping comics, a comic featuring a trapper capturing the same specie in various different ways and at the end taking them back. I went with Eevee for this. It also lets me use several different concepts at once, like the bolas, tribal carrying concept, etc in one piece as well. As usual, I am very big on uniqueness, so I went with completely unique traps for each of them, unique poses, reactions, etc.\n\nOne other thing though, is unique colors, I didn’t want them all to look the same, so I went and found different colors for Eevee for each of them. I considered including Nickel (a shiny Eevee) but I chose not to because A) Nickel is a little different than the official Shiny Eevee, so I feel I would need to include that design too and I think I can save that for another time and B) I’ve done the shiny Eevee lots of times, so figured why not do normal ones. C) While looking for color references, I noticed that Eevee actually varies a lot in colors and wanted to highlight that here. So instead I used color pallets of normal Eevee from several different sources. To cover them below:\n\nFirst Capture- This guy is from the Card game, specifically the black star promo Eevee card. In older card art, Eevee tended to have a more chestnut, red sort of coloring to it and its mane was much more yellow in color. Another interesting error, its tail doesn’t have the lighter color, this is weirdly a common error in Eevee cards actually, especially older ones. So I decided to keep that for this fellow. As for the trap, I went with the snare trap due to the pose I planned for it would best show off its tail.\n\nSecond Capture- This is comes from the fifth generation sprite and it is the colors Eevee usually sports in the games, being very close to the official artwork.
