piece for you! Over Halloween I had a unique opportunity as both my sister and Cousin were visiting at the same time and I got to talk to them about art and techniques and things. They've always got something interesting to talk about and I have been trying out several things. This piece being the first of many showcasing that. I hope you guys like it, I am very happy how it came out. the Doom bringer stuff was one of my projects that came with a story, so this one will too. I have never considered myself much of a writer but I hope you enjoy it anyway\n_____________________________________________________________________________\n I took a long deep breath; the frustrated air passing through my clenched teeth. The piece of leather covering my mouth warmed up instantly from crashing against the walls but just as quickly dissipated. A growl followed shortly behind, but it was no more successful, the sound muffled away into nothing more than a barely perceptible grunt. Even if it wasn’t blocked, it be drowned out by the sound of metal chain dragging and the screeching of wood wheels rolling on the ground. \n My anger and frustration never fully left me but it would subside from time to time. I took a moment to glance along my left side, lifting the corresponding limbs, tight shackles gripped them, as they always do. There was no wrestling out of them, not anymore at least. I glanced back over the hills, as far as I had gone, there was plenty of road left ahead of me. The driver wouldn’t let me stop pulling the thing for long, so begrudgingly I pressed forward again.\n How did I get into this situation, how could I allow this to happen!? Echoed into my mind. \n It had been about a week or so since I had been captured, blamed for a Tornado that did far more damage than I had ever expected it to. My capture was celebrated at the time but like with most things, it eroded away into nothing more than an occasional on looker. I was just another prisoner, nothing more, nothing less. No, that’s not true. Strapped to that blasted cart all the time I was just a decoration if anything more than a simple prisoner. \n They would let me get off it a few times a day though to stretch and be fed, but today was different. I was usually returned to it in about half an hour or sooner, just long enough to do whatever I had been let off it to do. Always strapped back to the bloody thing. Never allowed to go more than about 15 feet away from it either. If given the chance, I’d chop that thing to bits, not that it was an option anyway with my scythe always covered up by a piece of thick leather.\n This day was different, after I was taken off it, they rigged the cart itself to take it somewhere. I glanced back at it while they did this, were they taking it away? Not like I could ask. Beyond that nothing changed about me, I still wore the chain, the leather casings and the Muzzle that replaced the cloth gag. I detested all these things, but they weren’t overly concerned about my opinions on the matter. \n After they had finished preparing the cart, they brought me back to it. I was disappointed to say the least. The cart is leaving, and I’m going with it. Lovely, I rolled my eyes. However, I wasn’t put on it. I was taken to the front of it. At first, I was more puzzled than anything else. Are they taking me somewhere? Why, where?! I wasn’t comfortable with this, but I was outnumbered and still hobbled, so doing anything about it was out of the question. All I could do was ponder where I was going and wh—\n Click\n My train of thought was interrupted and a I froze; it took me a moment to realize what just happened. One of the chains attached to the cart had been connected to my collar. I did nothing but look at it. It didn’t take long for others to follow, several clicks sounded, and I found links attached to my hind legs as well. \n Why… why are you—\n --I… You’re taking this thing away—\n --and I am—\n In an immediate interrupt, I leapt up into the air bucking about, talons slashing the earth but not able to do much else, I could only go so far before the chain was drawn taught, keeping me positioned in front of it, drawing me back to it. I stopped a moment, breathing deeply into the muzzle. \n Where were they taking the cart—taking me--- I don’t know. All I know is do they really expect me to pull this blasted thing there. My stomach churned at the very thought of such an absurd notion!\nWHY!?. \n I could feel my heart racing and my claws dug down into the soil in front of me. I can’t be the best steed to do that, it’s impossible. I hated this thing, I hate them, certainly I’d be the worst thing to pull this thing! I’d resist this, I won’t put up with this disgrace! Never!!! \n Well it became apparent why later but for now, it just seemed to be a slap in the face. I had a long way to go, and plenty of time to grow tired of being stubborn and what resulted from that. Eventually I did end up just pulling it, mainly in hopes to get wherever were going sooner.
