"description": "And the water type starters, which are my personal favorites and usually the ones I go with when I play the games (for those curious, my favorite starter is Mudkip). Like mentioned before, this was made before the gen 8 starters were shown, so they're not here. I may make something with them later, we'll see. There is one other in this series, the Eeveelution one. I may release that too. Haven't decided. Usually themes with this series are here too:\n\nSquirtle- Squirtle has several things in common with Charmander as far as his face is concerned, large eyes, large mouth, small nose and so forth. As such my initial response was to do the same thing, a ball. However I didn’t want to do the exact same thing and wanted to mix it up a little. I tried a couple of things and eventually settled on using an apple gag for him, thought it was pretty cute and the expression I went with was embarrassed, so it worked with that too. Pretty happy how that came together.\nTotodile- I had several ideas for Totodile, tape, a rubber band and so forth but I scrapped those for one reason or another. Eventually though I settled on putting a wire basket muzzle on the little croc and I think that suits him. Expression wise, I went with sad, figure he’d be upset about the situation.\nMudkip- Long time viewers of my work might have expected a ball on him and I did consider it but I’ve done that twice now, so I thought I’d try something else with this guy. I eventually decided to try out the glue gag on him, slime to be specific and I think it works pretty well. Expression wise, Mudkip is about 90% head, so this would be a pretty concerning thing for him I think, so I went with concerned/worried.\nPiplup- I experimented with a couple possibilities but I really liked the cork Torchic had and ended up popping it on Piplup’s beak too. Think it’s pretty cute on him too XD As for expression, I didn’t want him to be the exact same as Torchic, so I went with giving him a different expression, figure the cork would probably be annoying for a bird, so he’s annoyed about it.\nOshawott- One of the reasons Totodile didn’t have tape was I liked how Oshawott looked with the tape and I didn't want two of them to have the same one, so I ended up settling on giving Oshawott that and finding something else for Totodile. I think it seems fitting and I am pretty happy with the whole thing.
