  "description": "I'm placing this directly in scraps. This is not meant to be enjoyed like the usual stuff I post. Rather, I intend to show off about how far I've come in the last 2 years. This is an old model I believe I've uploaded previously as a 3D print. This morning, I opened the file, and reshaped it to follow the guidelines for character design that I've been learning through trial and error. I'm very pleased with how far I've come, and I decided to post this. (usually I just share small things like this with friends on discord/telegram.)\n\nImproving at art feels like the school of hard knocks, because no matter how many guides I read, which books I buy from amazon, which YouTube tutorials I follow or skilled friends I ask for advice, the only way there seems to be to truly learn art is to do it yourself.\n\nIf there's something you want to do, just persevere. I know I can only keep improving, so I'll keep practicing. It's good to go back and see how far I've come now and then, because it can be so discouraging to see only minor improvements (or none at all) between individual pictures.\n\nStay safe out there, everybody! COVID-19 is scary. Stay indoors. Not only for your safety, but for everybody- some of us are older or don't have a strong immune system. If you're bored at home and in lockdown, maybe pick up a new skill?",
