After everyone rechecked and said yes. They left the house and Fang locked the door behind him. They piled into three vehicles and pulled out of the driveway. About fifteen minutes later they pulled into the local motel and headed into the multiple rooms they rented beforehand.\n\n\tFang and Tib helped setup the cribs for Lin and Laika’s cubs in their own room. Willow and Vapor kind of moved around and helped everyone. Onai and Todd helped where needed, pretty much like everyone else. After everyone finished moving into their rooms they could finally relax a little bit. Willow, Elli, Tib, Fang and Vapor all agreed that they would help with Lin and Laika’s pups if they needed help at night, so each bedroom was setup with one crib. It was going to be a long month in cramped motel rooms for everyone in the Wolfe family.\n\n***\nTuesday August 6, 2030 \n\n\tThe next day Fang and Vapor headed back to the house. The current attic would be modified into bedrooms, and a new attic would be built on top. In addition to the new bedrooms, the center of the stairway would be opened up for an elevator. Fang had planned all of this, including the elevator, many years ago when he designed the house the first time. But after Vapor and his mom said it wasn’t needed, he cut it out of the build plans. The elevator would go to each floor, including the basement. Included in the plans was the hidden passage floors, just like those between the other floors. Each new floor would have five bedrooms and bathrooms. It also modifies the third floor, extending bedrooms to match up with the new floors. Fang and Vapor’s bedroom and bathroom would be extended to let the new floors have the extra space needed without crazy overhangs. Needless to say it would be an extensive and expensive house expansion.\n\n\t“Yeah, it’s doable. Just be warned this won’t be easy. We have to pull off all those metal panels from the roof, then all the bricks, walls and, well you know. I thought from the blueprints that I got in email, it was just removing the roof and adding two more floors. This will take longer than just two months,” he explained.\n\t“Yeah, I noticed an issue when I added the two floors. They were going to leave a major overhang over the third floor. I sent the changes back to the architect and he approved the changes. He was supposed to have sent you the revised plans,” Fang explained.\n\t“Well, we can make do, it just changes the deadline by at least one extra month. Is everything ready? Everything out of the way?” He asked.\n\t“Yes. Everything is out of our bedroom and attic. It was all moved down to the basement. Just do what you need to, let us know if anything comes up,” Fang replied.\n\t“Will do. By the way, the changes to the basement. It’s also not going to be easy. What’s that for anyway?”\n\t“It’s for a battery system for solar. A week or two after you finish the job, another group will be coming in to set up all that stuff,” he explained.\n\t“Okay. Well, I guess it’s time to call everyone in to start,” he stated.\n\t“Be careful. We’ve got generators running to keep the aquariums running properly. One of us will be back twice a week to add food to their feeders. If anything happens and the generators need to be shutdown, they’re down in the basement on the north wall. But keep them on at all possibilities please and call me or Vapor if you have to shut them down for any length of time, even if it’s just for one minute,” Fang explained.\n\t“Shouldn’t have an issue with that. Is the main power to the house shut off?” He asked.\n\t“Yes, it’s cut off at the electric panel. There are the ten outlets on the outside that you can use. Those are separate from the main house,” Fang replied.\n\t“Yeah, I remember those,” he replied.\n\t“Okay. I guess we’ll be out of here unless there’s something else,” Vapor replied.\n\t“Um, nope, just need the keys,” he replied.\n\n\tFang handing him the key to the house and said their goodbyes.\n\n\tThe two loaded into the car and headed back to the hotel to break the news to everyone.\n\n\t“So, you never really explained what that basement addition is for, but I could tell that you lied to him,”\n\t“Remember us talking about buying gold, silver and platinum?”\n\t“Yes,”\n\t“Well, that’s where the vault is going to be built, for all of that,”\n\t“Ah okay. He pulled the cardboard off and about 20 of the 50 gold rounds fell to the floor.\n\t“It’s the first bit of gold. These are the rounds. They’re all one troy ounce each,” he explained and held up one of the 33 mm by 2.2 mm gold round.\n\n\tHe pulled out the nine other rolls and sat them to the side.\n\n\t“How much is all that worth?” Vapor asked.\n\t“You really want to know?” He asked looking up.\n\t“Yes,” she replied.\n\t“Grab me that leather bound book please. After the banker left he pulled out the large box and flipped the lid open and sat all 500 troy ounces, or 34.28 pounds, of the gold inside. He put the box back up and locked it. He opened the safety deposit vault door and let the banker know he was finished. They watched as he walked in and locked the second lock to the box. The three of them left the vault together. \n\n\t“Why did you rent such a large box?” Vapor asked.\n\t“I’m going to order more gold rounds and then platinum and silver as well. All the prices are down right now,” he explained.\n\t“Ah okay. How much is the gold usually?” She asked.\n\t“It just depends on the market. It’s about $400 lower right now than what it was last week. I’ve placed orders on everything that I said. For gold I’ve already ordered another 2500 rounds, 10,000 in silver and 500 for Platinum,” explained.\n\t“Will all of that fit in that one box?” She asked while pulling out of the bank parking lot.\n\t“It should. If not, I can rent another box,” he replied.\n\t“Okay,” she replied.\n\n***\n\n\tFriday November 22, 2030 \n\n\t3 months, 17 days later\n\n\tWillow, Jaden, Fang, Vapor and Tib were all exhausted after a few long days of bringing everything back into the house from the ten 40-foot long storage containers that stored most all furniture, clothing, toys and other stuff while the house was being remodeled and expanded. Finally with everything back in place it was time to bring the kids back to their home.\n\n\tAs they drove down the road towards the house those who could see it was mesmerized at just how much bigger and taller their house was. It towered over the land, trees and other houses by at least fifty feet higher than before. The house now stands somewhere around 110 to 115 feet tall. Each floor is 15 feet from floor to ceiling. The secret tunnel passage floors are 3 feet tall. The attic was 15 feet from floor to the bottom of the roof, at the center it was 25 feet tall. The muscle mass pressing into the uniform. His legs were also highly muscular. The two security guards were also bulls and their muscles was pretty much the same. Fang could only think of Gregor Clegane, “The Mountain” but more than twice the muscles. They towered over Fang by at least a foot, all three of them.\n\t“T-that’s me,” he replied clearly showing he was a bit scared of the three, especially after one of the security guards moved the assault rifle around on his chest.\n\t“Picture ID please,” the guy replied. Fang pulled out his military ID and driver’s license and handed them over. The bull checked the IDs and then looked at Fang a few times then handed them back.\n\t“Where do you want everything offloaded at?” The bull asked.\n\t“Back up to the garage. I’ll open a bay door and just pull in,” he replied.\n\n\tThe bull nodded, turned around and left with the two security guards. Fang closed the door and exhaled. He turned around to see Onai staring directly at the door, his eyes wide.\n\t“You okay Onai?” Fang asked.\n\t“Yeah. Uh, do you need help dad?” Onai asked.\n\t“Yeah. Come help me please. It’s going to be back breaking work though,” he said, the two of them headed into the garage.\n\n\tThe two security guards and the delivery guy each put a key into the three heavy duty locks and turned. They pulled the latches and opened the double doors. The two security guards moved to the sides of the truck and stood guard. Their weapons in their paws and ready to shoot at anything and anyone who dared make a move towards the heavily armored truck. The walls of the box was four inches of titanium, not even a 120 mm artillery shell could pierce the walls.\n\n\t“Don’t mess with them. Don’t even go near the front. In fact, don’t move past the open doors on the sides,” Fang said to Onai who replied, “okay,” quietly.\n\n\tThe delivery driver pushed up another door that disappeared in between the roof and a false roof. Onai’s mouth dropped upon seeing stacks and stack of glistening gold bars.\n\t“Dddddad!” Onai stammered completely speechless.\n\t“Snap out of it son,” Fang replied.\n\t“Is all of this mine?” Fang asked before moving towards the truck.\n\t“Yes sir, 1000 1-kilogram gold bars,” the guy said after looking at the delivery papers.\n\t“Can we start offloading it?” Fang asked.\n\t“Yes. Where do you want it placed at?” The bull asked.\n\t“On the floor here,” Fang replied pointing near a bench about ten feet away.\n\n\tFang, Onai and the bull delivery driver started to unload the vehicle while the two security guards stood at either side of the vehicle at the bay door. Ten minutes into moving the gold one of the security guards spoke up. “Vehicle incoming,” he said then cocked the rifle. Fang quickly sat the gold bar down and rushed over to another bay door and opened it.\n\t“Stand down,” Fang commanded, “it’s my wife.”\n\n\tVapor had stopped at the edge of the garage just staring at the two security guards that just had guns trained on her. After Fang waved her in she cautiously pulled into her bay and got out.\n\t“Sorry about that. Gold delivery arrived. I didn’t know they were going to send armed guards,” Fang said then kissed her. She patted his shoulder and they walked over to inspect everything. Fang got back to work to help offload the truck. Vapor’s eyes dazzled in the golden colored bars. They were smaller than she had thought they would be. Thinking about it now, gold is much denser, heavier, than most other things. She picked one bar up and was really surprised at the weight of it. Her cellphone was at least twice the size of the bars, except for thickness. Each bar weighed 1 kilogram, 2.2 pounds, and each are roughly 3.14 inch by 1.57 inch and 0.708 inch thick. She put the bar back down and watched the three unload for a few minutes. Each one would grab one bar, walk it over to the stack on the floor, sit it down, then mark off a number on a sheet of paper that counted up to one thousand.\n\n\tAfter another sixty minutes the three were done. Fang moved and counted each bar two more times, himself, to ensure every bar was there and counted for. After all of the counting and happy, he excused himself and entered into the house, then returned ten minutes later carrying a sealed bag. Fang, the driver and one guard stepped into the vehicle and closed the door behind them. \n\n\tFifteen minutes passed when they finally stepped back outside. Fang turned to the bull, took the delivery sheet and signed off. The bull thanked him while handing Fang the copy then got into the truck. The two armed guards got into the truck after the driver did. They sat there for a couple of minutes doing paperwork then left. Fang shut the door behind them and turned around.\n\n\t“Let’s get this into the vault now. Onai those totes, start filling them up please,” Fang said.\n\t“You need any help?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Nah, we got this,” Fang replied then kissed her again.\n\t“You ready Onai?” He asked.\n\t“Yup,” Onai replied and started moving the gold bars into totes. \n\n\tThey put in twenty bars into each tote and carried them down. Fang had no issue lifting them but Onai struggled just slightly but not enough to really slow him down. They each made twenty-five trips from the garage, down into the basement and back up again then repeated until all fifty trips were finished to carry the 1000 gold bars.\n\n\tThis had been the first time Onai had seen the inside of the vault. The vault itself was twenty five feet long by fifteen feet wide and nine feet tall. The walls were lined with heavy duty industrial shelves. The legs that were holding them up were two inches of solid titanium, painted blue. Each one is one caret,” Fang replied then turned the computer off after saving the updated information and sending an encrypted database backup to the server in the safe room.\n\t“So, what made you want to do this?” Onai asked.\n\t“Why not? \t“That’s okay, you only need two minutes,” she said and winked, then chuckled. They pushed their bedroom door open and barged inside. They left a line of clothes from the door to the bed. \tAbout twenty minutes later they stood outside talking to the contractor, who had built the house. Fang invited him in and they headed inside to the dining room. Fang rolled out the new house blueprint plans. It showed the addition of two extra floors, the fourth and fifth floor. The current attic would be modified into bedrooms, and a new attic would be built on top. In addition to the new bedrooms, the center of the stairway would be opened up for an elevator. Fang had planned all of this, including the elevator, many years ago when he designed the house the first time. But after Vapor and his mom said it wasn’t needed, he cut it out of the build plans. The elevator would go to each floor, including the basement. Included in the plans was the hidden passage floors, just like those between the other floors. Each new floor would have five bedrooms and bathrooms. It also modifies the third floor, extending bedrooms to match up with the new floors. Fang and Vapor’s bedroom and bathroom would be extended to let the new floors have the extra space needed without crazy overhangs. Needless to say it would be an extensive and expensive house expansion.

\t“Yeah, it’s doable. Just be warned this won’t be easy. We have to pull off all those metal panels from the roof, then all the bricks, walls and, well you know. I thought from the blueprints that I got in email, it was just removing the roof and adding two more floors. This will take longer than just two months,” he explained.
\t“Yeah, I noticed an issue when I added the two floors. They were going to leave a major overhang over the third floor. I sent the changes back to the architect and he approved the changes. He was supposed to have sent you the revised plans,” Fang explained.
\t“Well, we can make do, it just changes the deadline by at least one extra month. Is everything ready? Everything out of the way?” He asked.
\t“Yes. Everything is out of our bedroom and attic. It was all moved down to the basement. Just do what you need to, let us know if anything comes up,” Fang replied.
\t“Will do. By the way, the changes to the basement. It’s also not going to be easy. What’s that for anyway?”
\t“It’s for a battery system for solar. A week or two after you finish the job, another group will be coming in to set up all that stuff,” he explained.
\t“Okay. Well, I guess it’s time to call everyone in to start,” he stated.
\t“Be careful. We’ve got generators running to keep the aquariums running properly. One of us will be back twice a week to add food to their feeders. If anything happens and the generators need to be shutdown, they’re down in the basement on the north wall. But keep them on at all possibilities please and call me or Vapor if you have to shut them down for any length of time, even if it’s just for one minute,” Fang explained.
\t“Shouldn’t have an issue with that. Is the main power to the house shut off?” He asked.
\t“Yes, it’s cut off at the electric panel. There are the ten outlets on the outside that you can use. Those are separate from the main house,” Fang replied.
\t“Yeah, I remember those,” he replied.
\t“Okay. I guess we’ll be out of here unless there’s something else,” Vapor replied.
\t“Um, nope, just need the keys,” he replied.

\t“So, have you found a place to buy all the metals?”
\t“Ah, yes I have. I called the place I wanted to buy it all from but they don’t have enough. So we’ll have to buy from multiple places. I called and emailed fourty-four different sellers, and combined, they have enough,”
\t“Good to hear, and, you know, good job,” Vapor said.
\t“Yeah, thanks,” he replied.
\t“When are you going to start ordering?” She asked.
\t“As soon as we move back into the house,” he said.
\t“Okay,” she said.
\t“I might order some of the smaller stuff while we’re here, but it won’t be too much though,” he said.
\t“Okay,” she said again.

\t“Okay everyone, good news and bad news. Good news is that the work on the house has started. Bad news is that it’ll be longer than expected. Could be two months maybe more,” Vapor said, causing a couple to groan and others shrugged it off.

\tVapor took Laika outside alone to speak with her, knowing what happened in the past at the motel in California. She, nor Fang wants wants a repeat of it.
\t“Laika, are you going to be okay with us being here for so long?” Vapor asked.
\t“I don’t know. I hope so,” she replied.
\t“Okay. This time it might not be as bad since it’ll be Lin, you and three of your pups in the room. I expect you to behave yourself and not do what you did in California,” her mom said.
\t“I know mom. I won’t make that mistake again. I promise,” she replied.
\t“Good. Let me know if you start getting cabin fever. We can go and do something away from this motel. Maybe go shopping or go to the park or something,” she said.
\t“Thanks mom, I’ll let you know,” she said.
\t“Laika, no sex still,” she said.
\t“Yeah. I know,” Laika replied with a small chuckle.
\t“Sweetie,” Vapor said.
\t“Yes?”
\t“Ah, nothing. You can go back in. Love you,” she replied.
\t“Love you too mom. Thanks for taking Seira, Tamra and Foster for us,” Laika replied.
\t“No problem. Don’t want to anger the resident next to your room if you and Lin can’t get all of the pups to quiet down in a timely manner during the night,” she explained.
\t“Oh okay, yeah that wouldn’t be good,” she replied.
\t“Nope, it wouldn’t be,” Vapor said then walked away to her room.

\tMonday September 2, 2030

\t“Fang, you have a really heavy package,” Vapor said stumbling into the door. Fang jumped up from the bed and walked over and took the 6 by 6 by 6 inch box and sat it on the floor.
\t“What the hell is in that?” Vapor asked while huffing trying to catch her breath.
\t“Shhh,” he said then cut the box open. Vapor sat down on the bed and watched Fang remove the packaging material. He pulled out a heavy duty cardboard roll that was just a little over 33mm by 110 mm. He pulled the cardboard off and about 20 of the 50 gold rounds fell to the floor.
\t“It’s the first bit of gold. These are the rounds. They’re all one troy ounce each,” he explained and held up one of the 33 mm by 2.2 mm gold round.

\tHe pulled out the nine other rolls and sat them to the side.

\t“How much is all that worth?” Vapor asked.
\t“You really want to know?” He asked looking up.
\t“Yes,” she replied.
\t“Grab me that leather bound book please. I’ll show you,” he said.

\tAfter handing it to him he wrote in the book for a few minutes then turned it around. Vapor’s eyes nearly bugged out of her head after reading, $719,795.00.
\t“Yeah, but it’s only the start. This is just 500 out of 25,000 that I’ve planned on buying,” he explained.
\t“That’s a lot but I know gold prices are down right now. Where are you going to keep all this at? We are in a motel after all with room cleaning,” She asked.
\t“Under the tub here. There’s that hatch on the side to access the pipes and water hoses. I’ve already looked and there’s no other access to it,” he explained.
\t“Okay. I hope no one finds this stuff,” she said.
\t“I doubt it’ll be found,” he replied.
\t“So how much are you going to buy of everything?” She asked.
\t“More than you really want to know,” he replied with a smile.
\t“Don’t go overboard Fang. Please. I know we have like 3 billion dollars in the bank now but… pfft… What am I saying? Buy what you want to. I know you’ll do it anyway,” she replied, sat down and shook her head with a few chuckles.

\tShe reached out to pick up some of the loose rounds but Fang slapped her paw.
\t“No touching me booty, Sea Vapor!” He said and glared at her.
\t“I will take it all and ye will walk th’ plank!” She replied and held her arm out as if she was holding a pirates sword.

\tBoth of them started laughing for a few minutes. Fang picked up the gold rounds and handed them over to Vapor who flipped them over and few times while looking at them.
\t“So we’re going to have 25,000 of these huh?” She asked.
\t“Yup,” he replied.
\t“That’s actually really awesome Fang. Remember how we always talked about finding buried gold, diamonds and other treasure?” She asked and chuckled.
\t“Yeah I remember all of that. It’s one reason why I decided to do this, so that we finally have our pirate treasure that we always wanted as cubs,” he replied while Vapor handed the gold back to him.
\t“One dream has come true,” she replied and smiled.
\t“It will be once the house is finished being remodeled,” he said.
\t“Yeah,” she replied.
\t“You want to drive me down to the bank?” He asked.
\t“What for?” She asked confused.
\t“Do you really think that I’m going to leave nearly $720,000 worth of gold in a motel room, under a tub?” He asked.
\t“I honestly hoped you were joking,” she replied and stood up.

\tThey went into the local bank where Fang bought a safety deposit box. After the banker left he pulled out the large box and flipped the lid open and sat all 500 troy ounces, or 34.28 pounds, of the gold inside. He put the box back up and locked it. He opened the safety deposit vault door and let the banker know he was finished. They watched as he walked in and locked the second lock to the box. The three of them left the vault together.

\t“Why did you rent such a large box?” Vapor asked.
\t“I’m going to order more gold rounds and then platinum and silver as well. All the prices are down right now,” he explained.
\t“Ah okay. How much is the gold usually?” She asked.
\t“It just depends on the market. It’s about $400 lower right now than what it was last week. I’ve placed orders on everything that I said. For gold I’ve already ordered another 2500 rounds, 10,000 in silver and 500 for Platinum,” explained.
\t“Will all of that fit in that one box?” She asked while pulling out of the bank parking lot.
\t“It should. If not, I can rent another box,” he replied.
\t“Okay,” she replied.

\tFriday November 22, 2030

\t3 months, 17 days later

\tWillow, Jaden, Fang, Vapor and Tib were all exhausted after a few long days of bringing everything back into the house from the ten 40-foot long storage containers that stored most all furniture, clothing, toys and other stuff while the house was being remodeled and expanded. Finally with everything back in place it was time to bring the kids back to their home.

\tAs they drove down the road towards the house those who could see it was mesmerized at just how much bigger and taller their house was. It towered over the land, trees and other houses by at least fifty feet higher than before. The house now stands somewhere around 110 to 115 feet tall. Each floor is 15 feet from floor to ceiling. The secret tunnel passage floors are 3 feet tall. The attic was 15 feet from floor to the bottom of the roof, at the center it was 25 feet tall. (Note from author, height of the house and floors are subject to change after I figure out how tall the house actually is! Sorry for not having accurate details at the time of upload!)

\tEveryone stood outside and just stared up at the insanely tall house. No one could really believe that it would be this tall. Not even Fang imagined it being that tall even though he designed it himself.

\tEveryone turned and faced Fang after he said, “everyone listen up,” loudly.
\t“The third floor is still off limits for playing, exploring, hanging out, whatever, just like before. It’s still the master bedrooms. The fourth and fifth floors are all bedrooms. Just like all bedrooms before they all have their own bathroom and closet. None of you are moving into the new bedrooms though,” he said.
\t“Then what the hell are they for?” Onai asked.
\t“We’ll get you all moved into different bedrooms soon if you want to. But there’s other stuff that I need to do first to figure it all out,” he explained.
\t“Still really doesn’t explain why you had two new floors built,” Onai said.
\t“Because it’s how I originally planned the house to be built Onai. I originally had four floors and the elevator, but I was talked out of it by two furs,” he said then looked at his mom and then to Vapor, “anyways, doesn’t matter. We have an even larger house now, and we have room to spare for guests.”
\t“One more thing. I’m going to be receiving a LOT of packages over the next month or two. If you answer the door and it’s a delivery you MUST call ME to sign for all packages that are in my name. If I’m not here, then either Vapor or mom is allowed to sign. No one else is allowed to sign the packages OR accept them. Ask for it to be redelivered for the next day and get a receipt for the redelivery. Everyone understand?” Fang said.
\t“Yes,” all replied.
\t“What are the packages?” Luna asked.
\t“Nothing that you need to be concerned about,” he replied.
\t“Umm, okay?” She replied, she looked confused over at her mom who shrugged her shoulders.
\t“Okay, you can all go to your rooms or do whatever,” Fang said.

\t“How many packages are you expecting?” Willow asked.
\t“I honestly don’t know. Just a lot and they’ll all be heavy, at least 25 pounds to 200 pounds each,” he said as everyone was walking away.
\t“Do I even want to know what it is?” Willow asked.
\t“We’ll talk to you about it later,” he said.
\t“Okay,” she said then headed inside.

\t“WOW!!! This is going to hold a lot of fish!” Todd shouted. His voice echoed down the stairs from the fourth floor.

\tAs you enter the fourth floor you’re greeted with a large oblong-rounded aquarium that jutted out into the wide hallway. One side of the aquarium, the flat side, was part of the wall to one of the new bedrooms.
\t“I WANT THIS ROOM!” Luna shouted down the stairs.
\t“I’VE TOLD EVERYONE ALREADY, NONE OF YOU ARE GETTING THOSE ROOMS,” Fang shouted back.
\t“NO FAIR!” Luna replied.
\t“I CAN PUT YOUR BEDROOM IN THE BASEMENT. HOW’S THAT?” Fang replied.
\t“BITE ME DAD!” Luna replied.

\tFang smiled at Vapor and before she could say anything he ran upstairs. Everyone heard Luna’s shriek as he grabbed her and softly bit her forearm. He didn’t bite hard enough to draw blood or break skin, but just hard enough to leave a temporary mark on her for the next hour.
\t“DAD!” She scowled.
\t“Hey, you told me to bite you, so I did,” he replied.
\t“You did Luna,” Todd replied giggling while holding Skyler.
\t“Sh-shut up Todd,” she huffed and crossed her arms.

\tShe shrieked once again as her dad lifted her up into the air before pulling her into a hug.
\t“You okay?” He asked.
\t“Yeah, I’m okay,” she replied.
\t“Good,” he replied then kissed her muzzle.
\t“Can you put me down please? It’s embarrassing to be held and kissed by you,” she said.
\t“Embarrassing huh?” He said and looked at Todd and winked. He then kissed her ten times all over her face. She was defenseless to stop him. He moved his arms around and held her under her butt and smiled at her.
\t“You’re my daughter. You should never be embarrassed about being hugged or kissed by me,” he said, “I hug and kiss all of my cubs. I’ve even hugged Todd quite a bit,” he added then chuckled as Todd’s face blushed red.
\t“How are you embarrassed about that when you’re wearing a wet diaper right now?” He asked with a smile.
\t“D-dad!” she replied then buried her face into his neck.
\t“Come on Luna,” he said squatting down to let her stand up, “you know I don’t mind and I wouldn’t make fun of you wearing them.”
\t“I know that, but still. Todd’s right there,” she replied.
\t“Really Luna? You had me wear diapers for a week AND made me wear them with only a shirt for the last two days. Your dad hugging and kissing you isn’t embarrassing, its sweet and nice,” Todd said.
\t“Maybe, I guess,” she replied.
\t“It could be different. Your dad and mom could beat you daily like mine did Bella and me,” he said.
\t“I know. My parents are great but they embarrass me sometimes,” she replied.
\t“Your grandma, often embarrassed me and Vapor quite a few times,” Fang said.
\t“How so?”
\t“That’s a story for another time. For now, just go on and finish exploring. Like I said, no one is getting these rooms. Not yet at least,” he said and let Luna out of his grasp. He leaned to her ear and whispered.
\t“D-dad. NO! I’m fifteen. I don’t need help doing that,” she said.
\t“I know you don’t. Just thought I’d ask, if you wanted to have one of those older dad-daughter moments. But I was wrong, sorry,” he said.
\t“Thanks though, but no thanks dad,” she replied.
\t“Sure thing,” he replied standing up, “take care you two,” he said then walked back downstairs.

\tLuna sighed, shook her head and silently laughed. “I love him,” she said then looked over at Todd who was smiling.
\t“He loves you too Luna, but it was a little weird of him to ask if you wanted him to change you,”
\t“When I was six or seven, I told him that I would always let him change me if he or I asked. I know that he was just joking about it though, just trying to embarrass me more,”
\t“Ah okay, I see,” Todd replied and chuckled, “but now, it’s just embarrassing to think about doing that.”
\t“Yup. Anyway, lets explore a little more. But some way, some how, we’re getting this bedroom,”
\t“Yeah, right. You’re dad will never let us. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fang and Vapor move into that room. The aquarium being inside and outside of the bedroom is awesome,”
\t“Yeah it really is,” Luna replied as they walked into another bedroom.

Saturday December 14, 2030

\tFang headed to the door after the bell was rung a few times. After opening the door he looked at the bull that was standing there in a brown uniform and two armed guards. The bull didn’t look happy nor did the security team.
\t“Yes?” Fang asked.
\t“Delivery for a Fang C. Wolfe,” the bull said. His arms were giant, all muscle. His chest jutted out. The muscle mass pressing into the uniform. His legs were also highly muscular. The two security guards were also bulls and their muscles was pretty much the same. Fang could only think of Gregor Clegane, “The Mountain” but more than twice the muscles. They towered over Fang by at least a foot, all three of them.
\t“T-that’s me,” he replied clearly showing he was a bit scared of the three, especially after one of the security guards moved the assault rifle around on his chest.
\t“Picture ID please,” the guy replied. Fang pulled out his military ID and driver’s license and handed them over. The bull checked the IDs and then looked at Fang a few times then handed them back.
\t“Where do you want everything offloaded at?” The bull asked.
\t“Back up to the garage. I’ll open a bay door and just pull in,” he replied.

\tThe bull nodded, turned around and left with the two security guards. Fang closed the door and exhaled. He turned around to see Onai staring directly at the door, his eyes wide.
\t“You okay Onai?” Fang asked.
\t“Yeah. Uh, do you need help dad?” Onai asked.
\t“Yeah. Come help me please. It’s going to be back breaking work though,” he said, the two of them headed into the garage.

\tThe two security guards and the delivery guy each put a key into the three heavy duty locks and turned. They pulled the latches and opened the double doors. The two security guards moved to the sides of the truck and stood guard. Their weapons in their paws and ready to shoot at anything and anyone who dared make a move towards the heavily armored truck. The walls of the box was four inches of titanium, not even a 120 mm artillery shell could pierce the walls.

\t“Don’t mess with them. Don’t even go near the front. In fact, don’t move past the open doors on the sides,” Fang said to Onai who replied, “okay,” quietly.

\tThe delivery driver pushed up another door that disappeared in between the roof and a false roof. Onai’s mouth dropped upon seeing stacks and stack of glistening gold bars.
\t“Dddddad!” Onai stammered completely speechless.
\t“Snap out of it son,” Fang replied.
\t“Is all of this mine?” Fang asked before moving towards the truck.
\t“Yes sir, 1000 1-kilogram gold bars,” the guy said after looking at the delivery papers.
\t“Can we start offloading it?” Fang asked.
\t“Yes. Where do you want it placed at?” The bull asked.
\t“On the floor here,” Fang replied pointing near a bench about ten feet away.

\tFang, Onai and the bull delivery driver started to unload the vehicle while the two security guards stood at either side of the vehicle at the bay door. Ten minutes into moving the gold one of the security guards spoke up. “Vehicle incoming,” he said then cocked the rifle. Fang quickly sat the gold bar down and rushed over to another bay door and opened it.
\t“Stand down,” Fang commanded, “it’s my wife.”

\tVapor had stopped at the edge of the garage just staring at the two security guards that just had guns trained on her. After Fang waved her in she cautiously pulled into her bay and got out.
\t“Sorry about that. Gold delivery arrived. I didn’t know they were going to send armed guards,” Fang said then kissed her. She patted his shoulder and they walked over to inspect everything. Fang got back to work to help offload the truck. Vapor’s eyes dazzled in the golden colored bars. They were smaller than she had thought they would be. Thinking about it now, gold is much denser, heavier, than most other things. She picked one bar up and was really surprised at the weight of it. Her cellphone was at least twice the size of the bars, except for thickness. Each bar weighed 1 kilogram, 2.2 pounds, and each are roughly 3.14 inch by 1.57 inch and 0.708 inch thick. She put the bar back down and watched the three unload for a few minutes. Each one would grab one bar, walk it over to the stack on the floor, sit it down, then mark off a number on a sheet of paper that counted up to one thousand.

\tAfter another sixty minutes the three were done. Fang moved and counted each bar two more times, himself, to ensure every bar was there and counted for. After all of the counting and happy, he excused himself and entered into the house, then returned ten minutes later carrying a sealed bag. Fang, the driver and one guard stepped into the vehicle and closed the door behind them.

\tFifteen minutes passed when they finally stepped back outside. Fang turned to the bull, took the delivery sheet and signed off. The bull thanked him while handing Fang the copy then got into the truck. The two armed guards got into the truck after the driver did. They sat there for a couple of minutes doing paperwork then left. Fang shut the door behind them and turned around.

\t“Let’s get this into the vault now. Onai those totes, start filling them up please,” Fang said.
\t“You need any help?” Vapor asked.
\t“Nah, we got this,” Fang replied then kissed her again.
\t“You ready Onai?” He asked.
\t“Yup,” Onai replied and started moving the gold bars into totes.

\tThey put in twenty bars into each tote and carried them down. Fang had no issue lifting them but Onai struggled just slightly but not enough to really slow him down. They each made twenty-five trips from the garage, down into the basement and back up again then repeated until all fifty trips were finished to carry the 1000 gold bars.

\tThis had been the first time Onai had seen the inside of the vault. The vault itself was twenty five feet long by fifteen feet wide and nine feet tall. The walls were lined with heavy duty industrial shelves. The legs that were holding them up were two inches of solid titanium, painted blue. The shelves themselves were a quarter inch thick panels, painted orange, heavy duty enough to support thousands of pounds.

\tOne shelf was labeled “Gold Bars – 1 KG.” Another was labeled “Gold Bars – One Ounce.” Another shelf had each shelf with a different label, “Silver Bars,” “Platinum Bars,” “Iridium Bars,” “Palladium Bars.”

\tAnother one of the shelves were the same but instead of bars it was for rounds. “Gold Rounds,” “Silver Rounds” “Platinum Rounds,” and “Palladium Rounds.”

\tThe final shelf was a little different. They had bins attached to the bottom side of the panel, each bin was locked in with a heavy duty push tab. Above each bin were labels, "Diamond," "Emerald," "Emerald (Tiny)," "Ruby," "Sapphire," "Sapphire (Tiny)," "Pearl (Akoya)," "Pearl (South Sea)," "Pearl (Tahitian)," "Pearl (Freshwater)," "Alexandrite," "Amethyst," "Aquamarine," "Bloodstone," "Citrine," "Citrine (Tiny)," "Garnet," "Garnet Pink Rhodolite," "Moonstone," "Opal," "Peridot," "Peridot (Tiny)," "Spinel," "Spinel (Tiny)," "Tanzanite," "Topaz," "Tourmaline," "Turquoise," and "Zircon."

\tAfter they had finished Onai looked around a little bit. Most of the shelves were empty except for some gold “coins,” they were the gold rounds. He picked one up and looked at it.
\t“Dad? Why are these coins weird looking?” He asked.
\t“They aren’t coins. They’re rounds. They’re much more valuable than coins,” he replied while typing on a computer that was inside the vault.
\t“Oh. Why are you buying all of this?”
\t“Gold and everything else here is valuable. I’ve bought it all cheap so far and the price is going to skyrocket in the future,” Fang replied.
\t“How do you know that?” Onai asked putting the gold round back.
\t“Just my gut telling me,” he replied.
\t“Okay,” Onai replied then pulled out one of the bins.
\t“How many, uh…” Onai said then looked at the label, “diamonds is this?”
\t“Only ten thousand. Each one is one caret,” Fang replied then turned the computer off after saving the updated information and sending an encrypted database backup to the server in the safe room.
\t“So, what made you want to do this?” Onai asked.
\t“Why not? It’s awesome to see all of this, yes?” Fang asked, “well, it IS a little bare at the moment, but it’ll get filled up over the next few months.”
\t“I suppose so,” Onai replied after dropping the pawful of diamonds back into the bin then closing it.
\t“Is this all of the diamonds you’re going to buy?”
\t“No,” he replied.
\t“How many then?”
\t“One-hundred thousand one-caret diamonds, total”
\t“Oh. Is that a lot?”
\t“Oh fuck yeah it is. The ring that your mom wears is a one-caret diamond. These are all one-caret diamonds,” he said then pulled the bin out. He moved over to a table with a black cloth and dumped out all of the diamonds on to it then placed the bin into a slot on the underside of the table, above it is a three-inch wide hole.
\t“What you see here is ten-thousand diamonds. Ten-thousand carets. When I bought these, on the same day and time and location, they cost your mom and I $32,054,000. It’s a lot of money sitting right in front of you, buddy. Run your paw through them. Play with them, pick up a pawful and let them fall through your fingers. Each one cost us $3,205.40. In ten years, that could be worth double or could be ten-fold or … much much less or worthless. But precious metals and gems usually hold their value and only increase in price. Pick one up and look at it,” Fang said then waited. Onai picked one up and looked at it, stared at it, trying to figure out what his father wanted him to look at it for.
\t“Onai, that could one day be worth $50,000. Or it could be worth fifty-dollars. But right now, we’re securing our fortune in tangible goods,”
\t“But why? We have a shit ton of money. We’ll never need more than what we already have. Why this?” Onai asked then picked up a pawful of the diamonds.
\t“Because money, we can lose it all. We could go bankrupt. We could be sued for everything. But these, no one knows about. Every purchase I’ve made and will make has been in cash. That metal box that I handed over to the delivery driver was filled with cash. There’s no paper trail for any of this. I want to make sure that you and your sisters and their cubs and yours and everyone else in our family is taken care of. If your mom and I somehow die, I want to know and make sure that you’re all taken care of financially and not just with money in the bank. There’s a reason why this vault is hidden like it is. Hidden behind a false brick wall. A wall that is impenetrable with any current types of survey or spy equipment. Radar, sonar, IR, nothing can pass through this wall. It’ll only see what it thinks is dirt, nothing more,”
\t“Why all of that though?”
\t“Onai. We’re billionaires and we’re only getting richer every year and it’s increasing yearly. Five years ago we had, I think, 450 million dollars in our bank accounts. We now have over three billion dollars, by this time next year, it’s going to be nearly six billion. In five years, we might have over twenty-billion dollars. It’s all thanks to investments and stock market trades. Everything that I’m buying for this vault will cost me $1,100,000,000, maybe a bit more maybe a bit less. But in ten years, twenty years, it’s all going to be worth double, triple or quadruple that, hell it could even be tenfold or twentyfold that amount. Mineable gold is running out. They’ve predicted that there’s only 500,000 metric tons left in the ground. It sounds like a lot, it is a lot, but not really for gold. When I’m done here, I’ll have around 7.36 tons of gold sitting in this room alone. That’s 14737.422 pounds, or 6,684.782 kilograms It’s going to be near priceless. This one troy ounce bar here cost me almost $1,500 but once all that gold is gone from the ground, it’ll be worth, who knows, $100,000, one million, hundred million. I’m just thinking about the future, I guess,”
\t“Ummm, okay, dad. So, you’re buying all of this because you want to be richer than we already are, but save the gold and diamonds and everything else? … I’m confused,”
\t“Yeah, it’s difficult to really explain why. I guess it just sounds good in my own brain. But overall, it’s to make sure that you and everyone else in the Wolfe family will have money, even if our banks are drained. Your mom and I wants to make sure that all of you have a way to support yourself if anything happens to her and I and all of our money is gone,” Fang replied and laughed.
\t“Okay. It’s to protect our family. I get it,” he replied then stared at his dad who was pushing all of the diamonds into the hole in the table. He listened as they hit the plastic bin and bounced around until the diamonds piled up on top of each other. Fang pulled the bin out and put it back onto the shelf and secured it.
\t“Plus, think about it. It’s going to be awesome to see all this gold, silver, platinum, iridium and palladium and all those gems just sitting around here. It’s like a hidden pirates treasure,” Fang replied.
\t“Yeah, I guess so,”

\t“Onai. You are not to tell anyone about what’s in here. Especially to any friends of yours or the family. Understood?” Fang said.
\t“I understand dad,” he replied.

\tOnai’s mouth dropped open and looked down at the floor. Fang chuckled and headed upstairs.

\tAfter a few days, the excitement of the larger house settled down. Luna and Todd with Skyler tried to sneak their way into the room with the aquarium but was removed by either Fang or Vapor every night for a week. After that Fang swapped the door knob with one that could only be opened with a key. He also put heavy boxes in front of the secret passage tunnel doors, to the dismay of Luna but she got over it after a week or two.
