Laika was caught in multiple lies about using drugs. Lin gave her extra time to think about it, during that time he stayed out of the Wolfe house and slept over at the house of a friend from school. It was now the time for Laika to face Lin once again and see if he can forgive her. Laika, her parents and Lin sat in the living room, Fang and Vapor were silent while listening to Laika.\n\n\t“Lin. I’m so sorry that I hit and yelled at you. I promise that I won’t do drugs anymore. I don’t want to lose you, I love you too much to let that happen,” Laika stated with tears running down her face. Her paws and hindpaws twitching. Her bloodshot eyes jetted side-to-side quickly. Her head was pounding. Sweat was slowly dripping from her head and muzzle. She was in full withdrawal right now. Her voice lowered and spiked in volume and went from nice and sweet to anger and back again, her trying to control her anger as best as she could, while her whole body shook. She was rapidly tapping her right heel on the floor.\n\n\t“I don’t know if I can believe you right now Laika,” Lin stated while watching her paws twitch, then looked up at her.\n\t“Please Lin. I’m sorry that I got into drugs. I promise you, on my life, that I won’t do any of it again. I PROMISE!” Laika said crying placing her head in his lap. He sat there and stared at her as the cried in his lap.\n\t“Fang, Vapor. Can I speak you privately?” Lin asked.\n\t“Laika, step out into the garage, close the door and stay there until I come and get you,” Fang stated.\n\t“Yes daddy,” Laika said doing as told. After they heard the door shut and the latch click, Lin spoke up.\n\t“I want to believe Laika. I love her. I know drugs are additive and she might not be able to stop herself from doing them. I want to help her. My Luánshēng jiěmèi, uh sorry, my twin sister, is flying in to visit and help. Her body guard is coming too. They stay here and help Laika. Body guard drove us around in China. Protect both her and me. Are you fine with body guard and jiěmèi, uhh, sister, staying here?” Lin explained.\n\t“How long would they be here for?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Until Laika is better, maybe three to four months. Sister is bringing our ancient family medicine to help with addiction and sickness. Been in our family for over a thousand years. Works well,” Lin explained.\n\t“Is it safe?” Fang asked.\n\t“Shi. And your sister and body guard are welcome to stay here,” Fang stated.\n\t“Thank you. They arrive here tomorrow,” Lin stated.\n\t“You told them to come already?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Yes. Sister wanted to see me anyway. They would stay in a hotel if you said no,” Lin explained.\n\t“Oh okay,” Vapor replied.\n\n\tFang went to the garage and called Laika back in. He followed her back in and they both sat back down in the living room. Forgetting about how bad it still hurt to sit down, Laika yelped and jumped back up to her paws. Her entire ass was nearly a solid black and blue bruise. She could only lay down on her sides or stomach, to sit down properly, without pain, it took a thick but very soft pillow.\n\n\t“You’re going to get help from Lin’s family to help you kick the cocaine addiction. They’re bringing some ancient family medicine that they use to help stop addictions and infections and who knows what else. You will take it and try to get over the addiction or Lin says he’ll leave forever. If that fails, we’ll send you to a detox facility for however long it takes you to get clean,” Fang said.\n\t“I’ll do anything to stay with you Lin,” Laika stated and walked up to him.\n\t“I love you Laika. Please do your best,” Lin said and kissed her.\n\t“I will Lin,” Laika replied quietly as her tears soaked both of their muzzles. Her forehead rested against his.\n\t“Lin, if you have nothing else for Laika, it’s time for her to return to her room,” Vapor stated.\n\t“Mom, let Lin come with me please. I’m so lonely just sitting, laying down, there all day with nothing to do. You even took all of my books, paper, pens and pencils. I have nothing to do,” Laika asked.\n\t“If Lin wants too, he can,” Vapor replied.\n\t“I want to. I miss laying beside you. The past week was horrible. I missed you and everyone here,” Lin stated.\n\n***\n\nThursday August 16, 2029 \n\n\tThe following day, some of the family was in the living room talking when the doorbell rung. Lin jumped up and ran to the front door. Peeking out of the window he saw his sister. Laika, Fang, Vapor and Willow walked over to meet Lin’s sister and bodyguard. Lin quickly unlocked the deadbolt and swung the door open.\n\n\t“Xiaoling!” Lin exclaimed. Before anyone could say anything Lin wrapped his arms around his sister and pulled her into a tight hug, causing the bodyguard to almost jump forward towards him. He quickly regained his composure back after noticing it was Lin. After a few seconds Lin pulled both of them into the house and shut the door, leaving their stuff outside.\n\n\t“Xiǎolíng hěn gāoxìng zàicì jiàn dào nǐ. Wǒ hǎo xiǎng nǐ zhè shì láikǎ. All of them confused and wondering what they were talking about, especially when their name was said. Laika smiled a few times as she understood some, a little bit, of what was being said but was mostly confused as they were speaking too fast for her to be able to mentally translate.\n\n\t“Sorry. This my twin sister Xiaoling. You can call her Rin. This is Shàoqiáng, You can call him Wei,” Lin stated.\n\t“It’s nice to meet you both,” Vapor and Fang said.\n\t“Niece to meter your,” Rin said bowing.\n\t“We have to work on your English Rin,” Lin said with a smile.\n\t“It not bad is no?” Rin said.\n\t“Don’t worry Rin, Lin’s wasn’t much better either when he first arrived,” Laika replied.\n\n\tWei, a Siberian Tiger, bowed his head at the three while he stood up straight behind Rin, towering over her by seven-and-half feet.\n\n\t“Shàoqiáng, doesn’t talk much. He takes time to get to know others first then he warms up,” Lin explained.\n\n\t“We will meet everyone else later,” Lin said in Chinese.\n\t“How many others are there?” Rin asked in Chinese.\n\t“Quite a few like I’ve said in emails,” Lin replied in Chinese.\n\n\t“Lin, why don’t you show Rin and Wei to their rooms and help them bring in their belongings?” Fang stated.\n\t“Shi,” Lin said\n\t“Come. Follow,” Lin stated taking Rin’s paw.\n\n\tFang, Vapor, Willow and Laika watched as Lin and the two others walk to the stairs and then disappeared.\n\n\t“Holy shit he is freaking tall,” Fang stated with wide eyes. “He’s like seven feet taller than I am. Remind me not to get on his bad side,” Fang added.\n\t“He’s taller than Quill. I think he’d kick Quill’s butt and rip him in half,” Willow stated.\n\t“Our ceilings are fifteen feet tall and he’s like two or three feet shorter!” Fang exclaimed.\n\t“Well, lets hope he doesn’t do that to either of you boys,” Vapor stated turning around and heading back to the dining room.\n\n\tLater that evening, Willow, Laika and Fang started dinner while Lin, Rin and Wei sat in the living room catching up with each other with stuff from over the past year.\n\n***\n\nSaturday August 18, 2029 \n\n\tA couple days passed since Rin and Wei arrived. They had got settled into their separate bedrooms and setup for their stay at the Wolfe residence. Lin and Rin got caught up with each other, while Rin and Wei got to know the Wolfe family. Everyone meet and enjoyed having their new guests.\n\n\tLin, Rin, Wei, Laika, Fang, Vapor and Willow stood around the center island counter in the kitchen. Rin had over a dozen apothecary bottles sitting out on the counter along with a mortar and pestle. By the sink she had a chemistry glassware setup, it was distilling water from the sink tap water. Everyone watched as she ground up various things in the mortar then dumping it out into small containers to keep it dry and not contaminated. She thoroughly cleaned the mortar and pestle after each use. She looked over everything and nodded at each item, making a mental note of each. After that she looked over at the water distillation setup. It was started nearly two hours beforehand. It had finished just five minutes before Rin finished grinding ingredients.\n\t“Jian-Long water get prease,” she asked him. He turned around and carefully removed the collection flask. He poured it into the awaiting two neck round bottom boiling flask and capped it. He returned to the counter and sat it on the holder, next to everything else. Rin flipped through her notes and nodded her head every couple of seconds and spoke quietly in Chinese.\n\n\t“Everything ready,” she said looking between everyone.\n\t“So what happens now?” Fang asked.\n\t“I mix. Lie I won’t. It smell bad. Worse than like pig farm. Open window prease,” she explained. Fang heeded the warning and opened the kitchen windows and turned on the vent above stove.\n\n\tRin placed the two neck round bottom boiling flask into the heating mantle and attached a long condenser to the top neck, it helped to keep things from spilling out in case the concoction took off due to thermal heating. To other neck of the flask she attached a glass funnel. She systemically dumped in six different ingredients, one at a time and in a specific order. She placed a stir bar in and moved it down to near the bottom with a small magnet. Pulling the magnet away, the stir bar dropped to the bottom. She poured in 100ml of some fluid and then another 50ml of some other fluid. She turned on the magnetic stirrer and heat. She leaned backwards against the stool back and started a timer on her cell phone.\n\n\t“We wait now,” she explained. After two minutes passed Fang, Vapor, Laika and Willow started gagging from the smell. It was pungent, almost a rotten flesh smell, or maybe a mix of rotten fish and rotten eggs.\n\t“It stop way soon. Take few minutes,” Rin stated as she, Lin and Wei pinched or plugged their nostrils with their fingers. Vapor rushed out of the kitchen and into the garage. She returned with two box fans and put them into the windows and turned them on high, hoping it would pull the smell out of the house. It didn’t help, not even a single bit.\n\n\tTen minutes passed and the concoction was boiling, it turned from a multi-colored mixture to a bright red mixture. She opened a small bottle and used the eye dropper to suck up some green fluid. She dropped it into the mixture in the flask and quickly capped the open neck. They all watched as the mixture changed to a brown color and started to boil and froth. All of a suddenly the concoction quickly shoot up condenser tube and stopped a little over halfway up the 300mm long condenser tube. It quickly settled down and the mixture came to a slow boil. She continued adding various chemicals, the stuff that she had crushed beforehand, overtime seemingly in a very specific order and time. After each addition, she would then let it stir for five to fifteen minutes before adding another. After she finished adding everything, she sat a timer for ten minutes then leaned back in the stool once again. She told everyone it was finishing up soon.\n\n\tAfter the timer beeped Rin sat up and turned off the heating but left it stirring. She let it stir for another ten minutes before she stopped it. The brown fluid turned yellow during the heating and stirring process. She tested the temperature of the fluid inside the flask. Happy with the temperature she removed the condenser and handed it to Wei who sat it in a tub in the sink to be cleaned. She took the flask and held it by the neck and moved it in a circle. They all watched as the fluid inside spun around and then slowly calmed down. She picked up the last bottle of a blue liquid and poured it in. They all watched the clear yellow fluid instantly turn black. She capped it and gently shook it for a couple of seconds then uncapped it for a few seconds then recapped it then shook it again then uncapped the flask. She repeated the shaking process six more times over the next minute. Wei handed her a large bottle and filter funnel and she poured the black fluid into it. They watched as the fluid slowly drained through the filter and into another bottle. After fifteen minutes the fluid was fully filtered, but still black. Wei handed her one last thing, a drinking glass. \n\n\tRin took the drinking glass for Laika and poured out 25 milliliters and then placed the glass stopper on the bottle and handed it to Wei. He placed it into the refrigerator to keep it from spoiling.\n\n\t“It finish,” she stated.\n\t“I have to drink [b]THAT[/b]?!” Laika asked in disgust.\n\t“Shi,” Rin replied.\n\t“Eww!” Laika replied. She looked over at her mom and dad, who both had contorted faces of disgust from the look and the smell of it.\n\t“Drink,” Rin stated and held the glass out to Laika. She took it in her paw and brought it close to her. She gave it a sniff and started gagging and coughing, almost dropping the medicine.\n\t“No. I. I’m not doing this. This smells like death. No way in fucking hell am I drinking this shit!” Laika exclaimed.\n\t“Laika, lang-” Vapor was cut off.\n\t“Laika. Drink it or I leave tonight with sister and Wei. I drop from from the student exchange program and I’ll go back to China. I never speak to you again,” Lin stated. Laika looked over at her mom and dad with tears in her eyes.\n\t“You promised to do it Laika. They flew thousands of miles to help you. To help the girl that her brother loves,” Fang stated.\n\t“UGH!!!” Laika grunted and looked back at the glass of black and smelly fluid.\n\t“Laika. Drink quickly. Don’t drink slow. \t“Shuāngfāng dōu tóngyì. Shāo hòu wǒmen jiāng xiángxì tǎolùn. Qi qiáng, nǐ hǎo ma? Xīwàng nín yīqiè dōu hǎo,” Lin said.

\t“Wǒ hěn hǎo,” Shàoqiáng said.

\t“Wǒ réngrán kàn bù dào yījù huà,” Lin stated.

\t“Wǒ rènwéi nín yīnggāi xiàng wǒmen jièshào jiàn lóng. Tāmen kànzhe wǒmen hěn qíguài,” Shàoqiáng said.

\t“Shì de, yěxǔ wǒ yīnggāi,” Lin said.

\tFang, Vapor and Willow stood there looking at the three talking to each other. All of them confused and wondering what they were talking about, especially when their name was said. Laika smiled a few times as she understood some, a little bit, of what was being said but was mostly confused as they were speaking too fast for her to be able to mentally translate.

\t“Sorry. This my twin sister Xiaoling. You can call her Rin. This is Shàoqiáng, You can call him Wei,” Lin stated.
\t“It’s nice to meet you both,” Vapor and Fang said.
\t“Niece to meter your,” Rin said bowing.
\t“We have to work on your English Rin,” Lin said with a smile.
\t“It not bad is no?” Rin said.
\t“Don’t worry Rin, Lin’s wasn’t much better either when he first arrived,” Laika replied.

\tWei, a Siberian Tiger, bowed his head at the three while he stood up straight behind Rin, towering over her by seven-and-half feet.

\t“Shàoqiáng, doesn’t talk much. He takes time to get to know others first then he warms up,” Lin explained.

\t“We will meet everyone else later,” Lin said in Chinese.
\t“How many others are there?” Rin asked in Chinese.
\t“Quite a few like I’ve said in emails,” Lin replied in Chinese.

\t“Lin, why don’t you show Rin and Wei to their rooms and help them bring in their belongings?” Fang stated.
\t“Shi,” Lin said
\t“Come. Follow,” Lin stated taking Rin’s paw.

\tFang, Vapor, Willow and Laika watched as Lin and the two others walk to the stairs and then disappeared.

\t“Holy shit he is freaking tall,” Fang stated with wide eyes. “He’s like seven feet taller than I am. Remind me not to get on his bad side,” Fang added.
\t“He’s taller than Quill. I think he’d kick Quill’s butt and rip him in half,” Willow stated.
\t“Our ceilings are fifteen feet tall and he’s like two or three feet shorter!” Fang exclaimed.
\t“Well, lets hope he doesn’t do that to either of you boys,” Vapor stated turning around and heading back to the dining room.

\tLater that evening, Willow, Laika and Fang started dinner while Lin, Rin and Wei sat in the living room catching up with each other with stuff from over the past year.

Saturday August 18, 2029

\tA couple days passed since Rin and Wei arrived. They had got settled into their separate bedrooms and setup for their stay at the Wolfe residence. Lin and Rin got caught up with each other, while Rin and Wei got to know the Wolfe family. Everyone meet and enjoyed having their new guests.

\tLin, Rin, Wei, Laika, Fang, Vapor and Willow stood around the center island counter in the kitchen. Rin had over a dozen apothecary bottles sitting out on the counter along with a mortar and pestle. By the sink she had a chemistry glassware setup, it was distilling water from the sink tap water. Everyone watched as she ground up various things in the mortar then dumping it out into small containers to keep it dry and not contaminated. She thoroughly cleaned the mortar and pestle after each use. She looked over everything and nodded at each item, making a mental note of each. After that she looked over at the water distillation setup. It was started nearly two hours beforehand. It had finished just five minutes before Rin finished grinding ingredients.
\t“Jian-Long water get prease,” she asked him. He turned around and carefully removed the collection flask. He poured it into the awaiting two neck round bottom boiling flask and capped it. He returned to the counter and sat it on the holder, next to everything else. Rin flipped through her notes and nodded her head every couple of seconds and spoke quietly in Chinese.

\t“Everything ready,” she said looking between everyone.
\t“So what happens now?” Fang asked.
\t“I mix. Lie I won’t. It smell bad. Worse than like pig farm. Open window prease,” she explained. Fang heeded the warning and opened the kitchen windows and turned on the vent above stove.

\tRin placed the two neck round bottom boiling flask into the heating mantle and attached a long condenser to the top neck, it helped to keep things from spilling out in case the concoction took off due to thermal heating. To other neck of the flask she attached a glass funnel. She systemically dumped in six different ingredients, one at a time and in a specific order. She placed a stir bar in and moved it down to near the bottom with a small magnet. Pulling the magnet away, the stir bar dropped to the bottom. She poured in 100ml of some fluid and then another 50ml of some other fluid. She turned on the magnetic stirrer and heat. She leaned backwards against the stool back and started a timer on her cell phone.

\t“We wait now,” she explained. After two minutes passed Fang, Vapor, Laika and Willow started gagging from the smell. It was pungent, almost a rotten flesh smell, or maybe a mix of rotten fish and rotten eggs.
\t“It stop way soon. Take few minutes,” Rin stated as she, Lin and Wei pinched or plugged their nostrils with their fingers. Vapor rushed out of the kitchen and into the garage. She returned with two box fans and put them into the windows and turned them on high, hoping it would pull the smell out of the house. It didn’t help, not even a single bit.

\tTen minutes passed and the concoction was boiling, it turned from a multi-colored mixture to a bright red mixture. She opened a small bottle and used the eye dropper to suck up some green fluid. She dropped it into the mixture in the flask and quickly capped the open neck. They all watched as the mixture changed to a brown color and started to boil and froth. All of a suddenly the concoction quickly shoot up condenser tube and stopped a little over halfway up the 300mm long condenser tube. It quickly settled down and the mixture came to a slow boil. She continued adding various chemicals, the stuff that she had crushed beforehand, overtime seemingly in a very specific order and time. After each addition, she would then let it stir for five to fifteen minutes before adding another. After she finished adding everything, she sat a timer for ten minutes then leaned back in the stool once again. She told everyone it was finishing up soon.

\tAfter the timer beeped Rin sat up and turned off the heating but left it stirring. She let it stir for another ten minutes before she stopped it. The brown fluid turned yellow during the heating and stirring process. She tested the temperature of the fluid inside the flask. Happy with the temperature she removed the condenser and handed it to Wei who sat it in a tub in the sink to be cleaned. She took the flask and held it by the neck and moved it in a circle. They all watched as the fluid inside spun around and then slowly calmed down. She picked up the last bottle of a blue liquid and poured it in. They all watched the clear yellow fluid instantly turn black. She capped it and gently shook it for a couple of seconds then uncapped it for a few seconds then recapped it then shook it again then uncapped the flask. She repeated the shaking process six more times over the next minute. Wei handed her a large bottle and filter funnel and she poured the black fluid into it. They watched as the fluid slowly drained through the filter and into another bottle. After fifteen minutes the fluid was fully filtered, but still black. Wei handed her one last thing, a drinking glass.

\tRin took the drinking glass for Laika and poured out 25 milliliters and then placed the glass stopper on the bottle and handed it to Wei. He placed it into the refrigerator to keep it from spoiling.

\t“It finish,” she stated.
\t“I have to drink THAT?!” Laika asked in disgust.
\t“Shi,” Rin replied.
\t“Eww!” Laika replied. She looked over at her mom and dad, who both had contorted faces of disgust from the look and the smell of it.
\t“Drink,” Rin stated and held the glass out to Laika. She took it in her paw and brought it close to her. She gave it a sniff and started gagging and coughing, almost dropping the medicine.
\t“No. I. I’m not doing this. This smells like death. No way in fucking hell am I drinking this shit!” Laika exclaimed.
\t“Laika, lang-” Vapor was cut off.
\t“Laika. Drink it or I leave tonight with sister and Wei. I drop from from the student exchange program and I’ll go back to China. I never speak to you again,” Lin stated. Laika looked over at her mom and dad with tears in her eyes.
\t“You promised to do it Laika. They flew thousands of miles to help you. To help the girl that her brother loves,” Fang stated.
\t“UGH!!!” Laika grunted and looked back at the glass of black and smelly fluid.
\t“Laika. Drink quickly. Don’t drink slow. Hold your head back and dump it in and shallow quickly. I won’t lie. It’s going to taste really bad. You’re going to want to throw up, but it won’t let you. The medicine prevents you from throwing up,” Lin stated.
\t“I love you Lin,” she said and took hold of his paw.

\tShe picked up the glass and quickly knocked it back. As soon as all of it was in her mouth she swallowed and started gagging. She dropped the glass to the floor, shattering it into many small pieces. She fell to the floor on her knees and paws, her back arched up as she started dry heaving and gagging, her body doing it’s best to throw up. She cried in pain for nearly half a minute, then suddenly she collapsed to the floor and balled up into the fetal position crying in pain as it mixed and reacted to her stomach acid and from it’s horrible taste.
\t“This is normal, she’s okay,” Lin said quickly as Fang and Vapor rushed over to her.
\t“Are you sure?” Fang asked worried.
\t“Yes. It tastes really bad and it reacts with stomach fluid. She’ll feel better in a few minutes,” he explained. He sat down next to her and moved her head into his lap. He brushed her hair out of her face.
\t“Breath Laika,” he said. She was crying from the taste of death in her mouth and the severe pain in her stomach. She continued shaking and holding her stomach as the concoction took it’s course. After a few minutes she sat up and leaned against Lin, breathing heavily and crying. Lin wiped the tears away and then kissed her muzzle. Sweat poured down her head and soaked into her fur and her shirt.
\t“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you how bad it would be. I was scared you wouldn’t do it. The first few times are bad but it gets easier, I promise,” he stated. She looked at him and nodded. She was exhausted, sweating and her entire body shaking uncontrollably. He turned her head towards him and kissed her, muzzle to muzzle. He pulled away and smiled at his love.
\t“How are you feeling sweetie?” Fang asked.
\t“Verrrrrrry. T-T-Tired,” she replied as her eyes started to close.
\t“It takes lot of energy out of a fur. She needs rest,” Lin explained. Fang picked her up and headed upstairs. Lin followed him into her bedroom.
\t“How long will she have to do this for?” Fang asked Lin.
\t“Three or four times a day for three months,” Lin explained.
\t“Jeez,” Fang replied.
\t“Once her body gets used to it, she won’t need to rest like this after a week or two,” Lin explained.
\t“Okay,” Fang replied laying Laika down in bed. She had fallen asleep while he carried her upstairs. Fang sat down next to her and brushed the hair out of her eyes.
\t“I hope this works Lin,” Fang said.
\t“It will,” Lin replied.
\t“Okay, we trust you Lin,” Fang replied.
\t“I’ll stay with her until she wakes up,” Lin stated.
\t“You’re a good person Lin. Thank you,” Fang replied. He stood up from the bed and walked up to Lin and hugged him.
\t“Take care of my daughter,” Fang said.
\t“I will. I love her,” Lin replied. Fang smiled then left the room, leaving Lin with Laika. He returned to the kitchen to see Rin and Wei cleaning up already.
\t“She okay?” Willow asked.
\t“Yeah, she’s sleeping. Lin said she’ll be doing this for three months, three or four times a day,” Fang replied.
\t“She will not do after that in awhile. She get soon use to medicine,” Rin stated.
\t“Okay,” both Fang and Vapor replied.

\tFang opened the fridge only to start gagging and coughing. He quickly slammed closed the fridge door.
\t“Smell go way soon. It because it new made,” Rin explained.
\t“Can we store this elsewhere until the smell goes away?” Fang asked.
\t“It need stay cold,” Rin explained.
\t“We have a fridge out in the garage, it can be stored in that until then,” Fang said.
\t“Shàoqiáng, get the medicine. Follow Fang please and put the flask where it won’t break,” Rin said in Chinese. Wei nodded and did as told. He followed Fang out into the garage and placed the medicine into a fridge out there. Fang quickly pulled the few things out of the fridge and carried it to the kitchen to store it in the fridge there.

\tLaika stood in front of her mirror just staring at her face reflection as her fur and flesh peeled away. Her eyes widened, she screamed and grabbed her face as she hit the floor. Her paws scratching at her face, trying to stop the rest of her face from falling off. She was crying on the floor as Fang rushed in with Lin and Vapor right behind just a minute later, after Lin rushed out to get their help. Lin and Laika were brushing their teeth getting ready for bed.

\t“Make it stop. Make it stop. MAKE IT STOP!” Laika cried as she held her paws tightly to her face, blood running between her fingers. Fang grabbed her, picked her up, and rushed her into the shower, then hit one of the buttons for the “ice cold” option. Laika shrieked as she came out of her withdrawal induced hallucination due to the ice cold water. Blood ran from her nose after her face slammed against the edge of the counter when she dropped to the floor into the fetal position. Fang caressed her face while softly talking to her, “it’s okay baby. You’re okay. Breathe through your mouth and take a deep breath baby,” he said a few times.

\tLaika breathed in deep and looked up at her father, then burst out crying, holding him in a tight hug. She cried out what she had saw in the mirror. Lin stood in the shower, in his clothing soaking wet, horrified at her words. Vapor stood near the counter listening in, also horrified.

\t“It’s okay Laika baby, it’s only a hallucination. Your face is still cute as it’s always been,” Fang replied still caressing her face.
\t“No. No it’s not. It’s gone. I can feel the blood!” She cried.
\t“No baby, your nose is bleeding. Your face is still there. I promise you,” he replied.
\t“I. I… I don’t feel good,” she replied then vomited.
\t“It’s okay. You’re just really scared. Your body is just making you feel bad and you’re nervous about the hallucination,” he replied.

\tHe asked Lin to turn the water to warm after Laika started shivering a few minutes later. She had finally calmed down enough to think more clearly.

\tFang carried her out of the shower and stood in front of the mirror so Laika could see herself. She breathed out a sigh of relief upon seeing that her face wasn’t missing. She again hugged her father tightly as she continued to remember seeing her face falling off, in her brain. He sat her on the counter and held her face in his paws and talked to her, calming her down even more. After a few moments he grabbed a towel and started to dry her off. She sat there completely naked while he dried her off. Lin and Vapor was in their bedroom talking about what happened just before she had her breakdown.

\tA bit later Laika walked out of the bathroom and dropped face-first onto the bed. The hallucination and the fear had drained what little energy she had left. Fang followed behind her and gave Vapor a sad smile, letting her know that Laika was okay.

\tAfter getting her into bed properly, Fang and Vapor left the room, leaving Lin behind to keep and eye on her and to let him get to sleep.

Saturday September 8, 2029

\tAlmost a month has passed while Rin and Wei stayed with the Wolfe family. Laika was no longer having withdrawal symptoms and appeared to be getting over the cocaine addiction. She was happier, healthier and mostly back to her old self again. She was still grounded and her allowance cut, but she had a bit more freedom, just a little bit though. Fang and Vapor still required that someone, an adult, is with her at all times and cannot go on her own while she’s out in town or the city. If she has to use the restroom out in town, someone will accompany her inside and stand inside of the stall with her. If it was just one of the boys with her, they are to use the family restroom. She hated it but reluctantly agreed since she had absolutely zero choice in the matter.

\tFang, Laika and Lin walked into the mall and started walking around. After leaving one store, Laika ran up to her old friends after spotting them in the distance. Tamra, Chelsey and Laraine stood by the arcade talking to each other when she ran up to them. Laraine glared at her while Tamra and Chelsey frowned and crossed their arms.
\t“What do YOU want?” Laraine scowled.
\t“Can we talk please it’s important,” Laika asked. Laraine exhaled but nodded. The three of them walked over to a bench and sat down, Laika stood next to her father, while Lin stood on the other side of Laika holding her paw.
\t“I. I want to apologize for how I acted and treated all of you. I was a bitch to all of you. I was mean, rude and I hurt all of you in different ways. I’m sorry. Laraine, you were right. I was doing drugs. Cocaine. I was stupid. I’m off of it and I’m getting clean of it. Lin and his family is helping me. I miss all of you so much. I want to be friends again. I’m nothing without you three. We’ve been through so much together for so long. Remember when we dressed up Lin and put make up on him? I miss it all. Please, can we be friends again?” Laika stated. The three of them looked at each other for a few moments in silence.
\t“Laika, you slammed Tamra into a glass window here at the mall. You told Chelsey to fuck off and die. You cursed at me and told me to kill myself, in your room. You lied to all of us. You hurt all of us badly with your lies and abuse. Why would we want to even think about being your friend again?” Laraine stated.
\t“I know and I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry. I feel awful about everything. I just want to be friends and get past all that. I need all of you. Tamra, Chelsey, we’ve been best friends since Kindergarten. Lara, we’ve been friends for what? Four years now? Please think about it. I miss all three of you,” Laika replied.

\tLaraine stood up and took Tamra’s and Chelsey’s paws and pulled them away without saying a word. Laika dropped her head as tears formed in her eyes. The three of walked away down the corridor and further into the mall. Fang placed his paw on her back and rubbed her back. Lin tightened his grip. Laika moved to the bench and sat down and started crying into her paws. She was ugly crying, so much that everyone who walked by stared until they were out of sight of her. After nearly five minutes, she sniffled and wiped tears away.

\t“I thought they would want to be friends again. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry that I got into drugs. I hate myself for doing it. I lost all of my friends. Almost lost my boyfriend and the trust of my family. I wish I had never went to California. I wish I had never agreed to sniff the powder that the deer had lined out. It wasn’t worth $3,000 or sex or anything,” Laika said then started crying again, her head was buried in her paws. Fang and Lin stood there while she cried for the next few minutes.

\t“If you mess up or hurt any of us again Laika, we’ll never talk to you again,” Laraine spoke up. Laika jumped up and looked at them standing just feet behind the bench. She smiled and rushed up and wrapped her arms around them and hugged them.
\t“I won’t. I promise. I love all three of you,” she cried out.
\t“I missed you a lot Laika,” Tamra stated.
\t“Me too,” Chelsey stated.
\t“Thank you,” Laika replied and hugged them all again.

\tLaika pulled out of the group hug and smiled at them then turned around.
\t“Daddy, could I stay with my friends? Their mom can bring me home,” Laika asked.
\t“Lin stays with you. You girls are NOT allowed to let her out of your sight. You will accompany her into the bathroom and the stall while she does her business. No one takes an eye off of her. She’s not to go anywhere alone, at all. Understood?” Fang stated.
\t“Yes,” they all replied.
\t“I’m trusting you Laika. Don’t fuck up again or you’ll never walk these halls again with anyone, including me or your mom, until you turn 18,” he stated.
\t“I won’t, I promise,” she replied. Fang hugged her and headed towards the door but stopped.
\t“Laika, no banned clothing. I mean it!” He said then pushed the door open and left the building.

\tLaika turned back to her friends and smiled widely. She lunged at Laraine and hugged her tightly. “I am so sorry for the way I treated you Lara,” she said and pulled out of the hug then kissed her.
\t“You hurt me Laika, a lot,” Laraine stated.
\t“I know and I won’t do it again, I promise,” she replied. Laraine push her away and glared at her.
\t“I hope not, because I love you Laika and I missed you so much,” Laraine stated and smiled.

\tLin stood there watching the four girls talk and catch up. A few minutes had passed when Laika looked behind her, she smiled at Lin and reached for his paw. She took and it pulled him next to her.
\t“Hi Lin,” Chelsey said.
\t“Hi,” he replied.
\t“You ready for more make up and dress up?” Lara asked.
\t“No!” Lin exclaimed causing the four girls to giggle.

\t“Come on let’s all go shopping,” Laika stated.
\t“Sounds good,” they all replied.

\tLater that evening Rin and Wei was cleaning up from the second batch of medicine for Laika. Rin looked over at Wei.
\t“What do you think of Jian-Long and Laika?” She asked him in Chinese.
\t“Not my place to say,” he replied.
\t“Stop that. I’d like to know what you think of them,” she replied.
\t“They’re okay I guess,” he replied.
\t“That’s not much help,” she replied.
\t“Like I said, not my place to say,” he replied then placed the large 2000-milliliter round bottom flask in the foam padded storage shipping case.
\t“You’re our body guard, you’re supposed to protect us. Would you trust Laika with him if we were all back in China?” She asked.
\t“No. I’d keep my eye on her. But to see her with Jian-Long for the past month, she seems to be good,” he explained.
\t“Yeah, they seem to really close to each other,” she replied.
\t“A bit too close, in my opinion,” he replied.
\t“He loves her. They’re boyfriend and girlfriend,” she replied.
\t“What? Does your father know this?” He asked looking over at her.
\t“No. Not yet. I forbid you to tell father or anyone else,” she replied handing him the condenser.
\t“Very well, Xiaoling,” he replied and placed the condenser into it’s spot in the case.

\tA week later Laika and Lin was laying in her bed, it was close to ten PM. She looked over at him then rolled onto her side.

\t“Hey Lin,” she said.
\t“What?” He asked.
\t“Thank you for getting your family to help me get off that shit. I really am sorry that I hurt my friends and family. And I’m especially sorry for hurting you by hitting and threatening you,” she said.
\t“Me too. I’m glad that you stopped it. Why did you start taking it though?” He asked.
\t“Remember the vacation we took to California? While we were there a guy asked if I wanted to make some extra money having sex. At first I said no, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I decided to try it with someone else, sex that is. Anyway, a few days later the one that was arrested, confronted me about having sex too. I don’t know why, but I agreed. Anyway, the first guy asked if I wanted to try something different and I said yeah. I didn’t know it was cocaine until after we had sex. I went wild on him. I was pissed when he told me it was cocaine. But I was hooked and couldn’t stop. The money that I was saving and the money I made having sex, I burned up in just a month or two. I was stupid. I was saving that for a doll that I really wanted,” she explained.
\t“You’re not mating with anyone else have you?” He asked. She sighed and looked away for a moment.
\t“I’m sorry Lin. I did with the guy I bought drugs from. I had no money for it. It was after I was grounded the first time, when dad had to come get me from the mall,” she explained.
\t“Oh,” he replied sadly.
\t“I made him use a condom though,” she said.
\t“We’re mates though and you did that,” he said.
\t“No Lin, we’re not. We’re not mates. We never had sex nor have you claimed me in wolf tradition. We’re just boyfriend and girlfriend. I mean it’s still bad that I had sex with the guy. I feel awful about it. I felt awful about it after I had the drugs in my paw. I wanted to forget that I did that, so I snorted some coke. Anyway, I’m glad that you asked me. It’s a heavy burden off my chest,” she explained.

\tHe sighed and rolled over onto his side facing away from Laika. It pierced her heart with pure pain.
\t“I’m really sorry Jian-long,” she said in Chinese and placed her paw on his arm. He turned back onto his back and looked at her. She leaned down and kissed him for a moment before pushing herself back up.
\t“It’s only you for me now, I promise,” Laika said.
\t“I hope so. I really do love you Laika,” he replied.
\t“I love you too. I never stopped loving you after that kiss while we sat in the ocean in California,” she replied.
\t“You promised we would mate. I let you touch me. Only mate is allowed to touch there,” he said.
\t“I know. I haven’t forgotten that Lin. It’s just that the cocaine fucked me up. It ruled my life, ruined it for a while. I’m sorry,” she said then leaned over him and begin kissing him.

\tLin moved his paws to her waist and started softly rubbing her sides for a few moments. He placed his thumbs into her shorts and panties and pushed them down her legs. She pushed them down further while Lin rocked their bodies towards the middle of the bed, all this while they kept kissing. He lifted her shirt up and she finally broke the kiss and smiled at him until her head disappeared for just a couple of seconds until her shirt came off. She caressed his face before moving down, kissing his body working her way down to his crotch. She unzipped and unbuttoned his pants and pulled them off completely. His red dick already hard and waiting. She took it in paw and started pawing him off, teasing him just a bit before she took it in her mouth. He wasn’t exceptionally large, just a bit over six-and-half inches long and two inches wide. He closed his eyes and breathed in and out rhythmically to her sucking him off. After a few minutes she lifted up and moved over top of him. She smiled at him when he opened his eyes.
