"writing": "Chapter 10\nSunday August 20, 2028\n\n\t“What the hell as gotten into you Onai? You’ve been quite rude for the past week or two. Enough is enough,” Fang scolded Onai. Onai slid off his bed and started to walk away without saying a word.\n\t“Onai-Sköll Sylvester Wolfe. Stop and talk to me now,” Fang said hobbling over to him on crutches. Onai turned around and stood in front of his dad and looked up at him. Fang stood over three feet taller than Onai.\n\t“You were gone for four years. FOUR FUCKING YEARS! You just up and left us to fend for ourselves. YOU LEFT US! For what? Just to have fun? To go on an adventure? You don’t care for me or any of us. You think that you can just come back home out of the blue and think everything is going to be the same as it was when you left. I love you dad and glad that you’re back home and not dead, but fuck you and fuck off,” Onai shouted and stood his ground.\n\tFang looked at him and nodded his head. He sighed and stepped backwards sitting down on the bed.\n\t“Onai. Buddy. I know things are different. You’re different. Your sisters are different. Your mom and grandma and everyone. You’ve grown into a strong young fur over these past four years. I did what I thought was right for me and for our country and for all of you. I served my country and it was nice to do so. It was my choice to go into the military and I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it. The thing I hated the most about going was me not being able to be with my family. To hug and kiss my family. To say that I loved them every day and night. I missed all of you every second of everyday. There were nights that I couldn’t sleep because I missed you guys so damned much. I know that we’ll never be able to fully catch up on those four years. If I had known that I wouldn't be able to call or write or come home to visit I would have never enlisted. But you acting up like you have been for the past few weeks isn’t going to do any good. I just want you to be the cub that I remember and not the little snot-nosed brat you’ve been … I miss my good little boy,” Fang said. He stood up placed his paw on Onai’s face for a couple of seconds and then left the bedroom without saying anything else.\n\n\tOnai stood there without saying a word. He didn’t really know what to say. After a few moments he sat down on the bed and opened his nightstand and pulled out a picture. It was an old picture of when he was seven. Him and his dad were out in the backyard. Fang was running around and holding him over his head. Onai had his arms out pretending that he was a jet plane and they were shooting down enemy planes. A tear dropped onto the glass. He wiped the tear off then put the picture back on the nightstand. He exhaled and wiped tears from his eyes.\n\n\tFang stepped off the stairs as Akhi, Elli’s girlfriend and mate, walked into the house. He walked up to her and crossed his arms.\n\t“Just making yourself at home huh? No knocking or door bell or anything huh?” he said.\n\t“Yup. I claim this house as mine and Elli’s. I hereby kick you out! But only you Fang, everyone else can stay!” she replied crossing her arms and imitated Fang’s standing stance.\n\t“Goofball,” he said and pulled her into a hug. She hugged him back and chuckled and patted his back.\n\t“It’s so good to see you again Akhi,” he said.\n\t“It’s nice to see you too Fang. I’m happy that you’re back home,” she replied.\n\t“You staying over for a few days?” he asked.\n\t“Yeah. It’s that time for Elli. I gotta make sure she behaves around Tib, you know,” she replied.\n\t“What do you mean?” Fang asked.\n\t“Oh you know. Just gotta make sure she doesn’t actually fall in love with him,” she said then chuckled.\n\t“I don’t think that you have to worry about that. She loves you a lot. Anyway, have fun,” he said.\n\t“I know. But she wants me here for these mating sessions. See you later Fang,” she replied then headed towards the stairs.\n\t“See you later Akhi,” he replied.\n\t“Later Fang,” she replied.\n\n***\n\n\tLuna and Todd was sitting on their bed when Skyler started crying. Todd sighed then slid off the bed. He walked over to the crib and lifted Skyler out. He gagged from the smell. He walked over to Luna and sat the pup down in front of her.\n\t“I. I can’t Luna. I’m sorry,” he said then backed away.\n\t“God Dammit Todd. You fucking promised you’d start helping with diapers,” she replied.\n\t“I will. I just can’t do poop diapers,” he said as his ears flopped down and his nose wiggling from the stench.\n\t“Fine. Whatever. Just get me the fucking wipes, powder and a diaper,” she replied. He gathered everything up and sat them on the bed. He also grabbed one of the changing blankets. Luna lifted Skyler up and Todd spread the blanket out. He stepped back and watched Luna pull the tapes away from the diaper. She pulled the front down between the pup’s legs. She gagged while she wiped him clean. After rolling up the dirty diaper and securing the tapes to seal it, she glared at Todd who was chuckling at her for gagging. She threw the diaper at him, pegging him in his chest.\n\t“Asshole,” she said. He picked up the diaper and dropped it into the diaper pail and shut the lid. He moved back up to the bed and turned Skyler towards him. He dumped powder all over the pup’s crotch and rear, then put the diaper on, finishing by pulling the tapes tight. He smiled at the pup in front of them. He put his paw near Skyler’s paw, who took hold of his dad’s finger. Todd smiled then softly tickled Skyler’s exposed stomach. Skyler kicked and giggled for the five seconds that Todd was tickling. He smiled down at his little boy. Skyler turned his head and looked up at his mom. He rose his left paw, opening and closing it.\n\t“You hungry?” Luna asked picking him up who started cooing. She held him and got him suckling on her. Todd leaned over and kissed Luna for a few seconds until he felt something pushing at his left arm. He looked down to see Skyler’s paw pushing at him causing Luna to laugh hard.\n\t“Looks like you got competition Todd,” she said.\n\t“Oh yeah? Hmm. What would your dad do Luna?” Todd said then thought for a moment. He snapped his fingers and looked down at Skyler.\n\t“You’re grounded. One month,” Todd said with a smirk.\n\t“Really Todd? You’re grounding a … uhhhh … a seven week old pup?” Luna said.\n\t“Yes,” he replied bluntly trying to hold back a smile, but failed miserably as he started laughing.\n\t“Todd. I forbid you to ground our pup,” she replied.\n\t“Ooooooooooookayyyyyyyy, he’s not grounded,” he said goofily, as a soft knock sounded on the door, then opened.\n\t“Todd, bubba” Bella said.\n\t“Hey Bella, everything okay?” he asked walking over to her.\n\t“I not seen you today,” she replied walking in.\n\t“Aww, I’m sorry Bella. I’ve been helping take care of Skyler, your nephew,” he said.\n\t“How is Sky doing?” she asked.\n\t“He’s doing good. You want to see him?” he asked. She smiled and nodded. He took her paw and walked her over to the bed then lifted her up. She crawled over to Luna, who was still breastfeeding him.\n\t“He’s cute,” Bella said.\n\t“Yeah, just like his father,” Luna said.\n\t“That’s you right?” Bella asked looking back at her brother.\n\t“Yes, that’s me silly,” he replied and smiled.\n\t“Does mommy and daddy know?” Bella asked.\n\t“Bella. Do not talk about them. Okay? They are no longer part of us,” Todd said.\n\t“I miss them though,” she said sitting down on her butt as tears started to drip down. She really did miss her parents but some of the tears were from Todd’s emotions just now, his raised voice, his reddening face. Todd breathed out and sighed.\n\t“I’m sorry Bella,” he replied, unsure how to better explain, to his six year old sister, that she’ll never see their parents again.\n\t“Bella… I’m sorry but I don’t know how to get you to understand that our parents were bad. We will never see them again,” he said.\n\t“But I want to see mommy though. I miss her,” she replied. Todd let out a slight growl but stopped, hoping to not upset Bella anymore than he already has. He looked over at Luna for help, his eyes pleading with her.\n\t“Todd, talk to my parents or grandma with Bella about them. They know how to explain it properly.
