Onai turned the lights on while Laika stood at the ladder at the ceiling hatch. He pushed a button that closed the thick, heavy door in the ceiling. The main safe room had multiple shelves filled with dozens of rows of canned food, bottled water and other emergency gear all lined up neatly. Off to the side was a doorway that opened into the makeshift bedroom with a ten cots. The back wall had bedrolls, sheets, blankets and sleeping bags on a metal shelf. They stood there quietly, only the soft hum of the lights could be heard. The four foot thick walls, ceiling and floor, all with titanium rebar and plates inside, made sure it was sound, bullet and explosion proof.\n\n\tOnai held his paws out in front of him inline with his lower chest. She took her paws and held them to his. His were quite a bit larger, almost double. He closed his fingers down over her paws as she stood on her clawtips and kissed him. Their arms moved away from their body and down to their legs. She lowered back down and giggled through her embarrassment.\n\n\tHe walked her backwards, as they started kissing again, into the makeshift bedroom and onto one of the cot beds.
