helicopters were shot down, both in a ball of flames, fifteen miles West of Sangsong, North Korea. The details are spotty and no names of those killed have been released at this time. However, we do know that at least three of the six helicopters were carrying members of the Army Sniper Elite Recon Team Two, Team Three, Team Four, Team Eight, Team Ten and Team Fifteen. All teams were in route for undisclosed top secret missions. As such, no further details were given. We do not know if it was the sniper teams helicopters that were shot down or not. As soon as we get more details we’ll report it.[/i]”\n\t“Fuck mom, dad could be in one of those that got shot down,” Luna said out leaning on Vapor.\n\t“Fang, you best not have been shot down or killed. I’ll kill you myself if you were,” Vapor said quietly.\n\t“Language Luna,” Willow stated.\n\t“Mom? What can we do?” Onai asked.\n\t“Daddy,” Elli said quietly.\n\t“There’s nothing we can do but hope that your father is fine,” Vapor replied as she held Elli and Luna in her arms. Laika and Onai were leaning against each other. The other family members were just as fazed as everyone else.\n\n[i]*** Earlier that week ***[/i]\n\n\t“First Lieutenant Wolfe you’re on the door. Man the M-134,” The Major stated.\n\t“Yes sir,” Fang saluted.\n\t“Sniper teams! Ensure that you have all your gear. Extra ammo. Extra everything. DO NOT FUCK THIS UP. IF YOU DO, I WILL HAVE YOUR ASS AND HEAD HANGING ON MY WALL!”\n\t“YES SIR!” They all saluted. After a short time they all stood back in line waiting for further orders.\n\t“Lift off in five minutes everyone. GO! GET READY” The Major shouted over the whir of the rotors. Everyone saluted and rushed to the helicopters. Fang tossed in his sniper kit and assault rifle and strapped them down. He pulled out his side arm and checked it before putting it back. He unzipped his bag and checked the thirty magazine clips of ammo to ensure they were properly filled and loaded. He left the helicopter and rushed up to an ammo jeep and pulled out four ammo cases and hauled then back to the helicopter. He took the first ammo can and loaded the M-134 machine gun, which uses 50-caliber ammo, then strapped the others down into the ammo holder. “Locked and loaded. Let’s kick some ass,” Fang yelled out on the radio.\n\n\tIn the shroud of night, the six helicopters lifted off and headed for Pyongyang. On board all helicopters was a total of almost thirty furs. Over an hour into the flight the sky lit up with tracer rounds. Dozens of rounds ripped through the skin of a few of the helicopters. As the six M-134 guns fired into the sparsely tree covered mountains, alerts sounded out in multiple helicopters.\n\n\t“Taking fire from the north. Engage all ground targets,” Fang’s voice cracked over the radio.\n\t“Contacts south,” Another unit sounded through the radio.\n\t“We’re surrounded in all directions,” Another unit sounded.\n\t“All units, engage targe… OH SHIT! Pilots…” Fang cracked over the radio then silence.\n\n\tThe sky lit up orange as a blackhawk helicopter exploded and was left with a large fireball and burning debris falling to the ground. Just seconds later another explosion and fireball. The remaining helicopter pilots pulled up into defensive maneuvers to move to a safe distance.\n\n\tTwo minutes after the remaining four helicopters had pulled up and out to safety, a voice cracked on the radio. “Report status of injuries,” The voice cracked on the radio.\n\t“Two helicopters down. Ten units with bullet wounds. All treatable in the field,” A medic sounded out.\n\t“Pilots, continue to your LZ’s and maintain mission status,” The voice commanded over the radios.\n\t“Yes sir,” All sounded out.\n\n***\nSaturday June 3, 2028\n\n\tAround two weeks after the report of the downed helicopters hit the NEWS channels, there had been no more updates on it. There was plenty of reports of ground troops marching into the capital city and many getting killed by gunfire and explosions within in the city. After just twenty-four hours and over four thousand deaths, the Army retreated the ground troops.\n\n\tThe mood and atmosphere in the house was so bad that Tib and Katia decided to cancel their birthday party today. They hadn’t planned on a large party. They had invited just a few friends. Their friends knew of the news and understood their reasoning. \n\n\t“Why won’t the military report who died on the helicopters, mom?” Onai asked sitting at the table eating lunch.\n\t“I don’t know sweetie. Most likely due to it being a top secret mission and to keep the families safe of those who died and give the military time to inform them, if they even do,” Vapor replied. “I wish we could find out though,” She added.\n\t“I hate to ask, but what’s going to happen if Fang was on one of the helicopters that were shot down?” Tib asked.\n\t“Tib! Don’t!” Katia shouted as tears started welling up.\n\t“It’s okay Katia. We’re all wondering the same. He simply won’t be coming back home. Not alive at least. Hopefully his body will be returned,” Willow replied as her voice cracked. She put her paws up to her chest and breathed deeply trying to keep from crying. Vapor lowered her head while tears dropped to the table.\n\n\tWillow and Vapor was in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch when Luna walked in.\n\n\t“Mom?” Luna asked.\n\t“What is it honey?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Could I have a friend spend the night please?” Luna asked.\n\t“You’ve actually asked a friend to sleepover?” Vapor asked surprised.\n\t“Forget it. Shouldn’t have asked,” Luna stated walking way.\n\t“Luna stop! Of course you can. It’s the first time in almost four years since you ask for a friend to spend the night other than Emma. You surprised me, that’s all,” Vapor replied.\n\t“Thanks mom. He’s almost here. About ten minutes away,” Luna replied with a smile.\n\t“Wait. He? Almost here?” Vapor asked.\n\n\tLuna rushed up the stairs while dialing a phone number.\n\t“Luna! No fucking running god dammit! You’re Pregnant!” Vapor shouted out.\n\t“Sorry mom,” Luna yelled back down at the opening between the first and second floor at the foyer.\n\t“Vapor, language,” Willow stated.\n\t“Really? Telling me not to curse in my own house? Bite me,” Vapor smirked.\n\t“Yes and I’ll still bend you over my leg and spank your little butt,” Willow replied with a smile.\n\t“Willow. Remember when it was only a few houses on this long stretch of road? Now there’s the two large editions with hundreds if not thousands of fur’s just a bit over two miles away. And another one going up. It’s insane how much this area grew in just four years. If Fang and I wanted to walk to a friends house, it would have been at least a three or four mile walk. Now it’s only two miles for everyone here,” Vapor stated.\n\t“It’d be closer if Fang didn’t buy all that land for stupid cheap. It was what? Thirty thousand acres?” Willow replied with a laugh.\n\n\t“No. Over forty-three thousand acres. It was cheap at just seventeen-hundred dollars per acre. I guess the bank got tired of paying all the taxes on it. Only if they knew how fast this town was going to build up. They’d never had sold it for so cheap,” Vapor replied. “We won’t be selling it off or building on it. I don’t want any more furs out this way,” Vapor added.\n\t“Fang sure is crazy for that purchase. You too a bit. Since you both know you’re losing money on it every year for property tax,” Willow said.\n\t“That doesn’t bother us, you know that. It’s only 1.5 million per year. Plus it’s nice to have actual open fields and proper woods and not just rows of houses,”\n\t“I know Vapor. But you also know that I hate seeing money being wasted,”\n\t“It’s not wasting money Willow, not if we enjoy it,”\n\t“Really? Enjoying it? When was the last time you walked out in those fields?”\n\t“Two days ago with Luna. We walked and talked about her pregnancy and what she would have to do during it and after. How her life is going to change. Talked about how we’ve been fighting and arguing and how it wasn’t helping us at all. We really bonded out there in those two hours. But everyone has heard the rumors that they are. I know that Onai and Luna don’t go around talking about it either,” Vapor explained.\n\t“I see,” Willow replied.\n\n\tNearly half an hour later the doorbell rang and Vapor walked over and opened it. On the porch stood a rabbit.\n\t“Mrs. Wolfe?” The rabbit asked.\n\t“And you would be?” Vapor asked.\n\t“That’s Todd, mom,” Luna said standing at the balcony on the second floor. She quickly rushed out of view and down the stairs.\n\t“Ah right … Todd … come on in,” Vapor stated and stepped to the side.\n\n\tTodd walked in pulling a large suitcase behind him. “How long do you expect to be staying here?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Just a few days, if that’s okay with you. Issue’s at home,” Todd replied.\n\t“That’s fine with me,” Vapor replied. “Did you just walk here?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Yes,” Todd replied.\n\t“How far away do you live? And why didn’t someone drive you?” Vapor asked.\n\t“I don’t know maybe seven or eight miles. I walk everywhere though. Parents don’t drive unless they need to. It’s okay though, keeps me in shape,” Todd replied.\n\t“Luna! Next time, tell me and I’ll pick him up,” Vapor stated.\n\t“No, it’s fine. Really. I like walking. Helps clear my mind and gives me time to think withou… to think about things and gives me time to myself,” Todd replied.\n\t“Wait… You walked eight miles and just arrived. Luna, you knew he was coming over before you even asked me?” Vapor asked turning to face her.\n\t“I… Yes. I won’t do it again. I promise,” Luna said hiding details of why she did it.\n\t“Okay. You two stay on the first floor for now please,” Vapor replied and headed back to the kitchen.\n\n\tLuna sighed and took Todd’s paw and walked him into the living room where they sat and started talking for a few minutes.\n\t“You really are pregnant,” Todd stated as Luna lowered her shirt.\n\t“Yeah. Why would I lie to you Todd?” Luna asked.\n\t“I know that you slept with others, so is it mine or what?” Todd asked.\n\t“How? How did you know that?” Luna asked\n\t“Most everyone at school know or has heard the rumors Luna. So?” Todd stated.\n\t“I don’t know. Won’t know until I give birth. I do hope it’s yours though,” Luna replied.\n\t“Tell me who the others are,” Todd stated.\n\t“You, Chase, Blue, Aaren and another,” Luna replied.\n\t“Okay. So who is the other?” Todd asked.\n\t“No one really,” Luna replied.\n\t“How about being honest Luna, like you said before, why would you lie to him?” Vapor stated walking by them after leaving the kitchen.\n\t“Mooom… Fine. My brother, Onai,” She replied.\n\t“Your brother? Really?” Todd asked looking away to the floor.\n\t“Yeah. I don’t know why or how we started. It was when we were younger. It’s just a bond that we have and haven’t stopped for some reason. I know it’s kind of weird but remember my cousins Katia and Tib are brother and sister and they’re mates,” Luna explained.\n\t“It’s okay, I guess,” Todd replied smiling back at Luna.\n\t“I can understand sleeping with Chase and Aaren, but Blue? Blue is a emogoth weirdo. Why him?” Todd asked.\n\t“I don’t know. I guess just stress and confusion with my dad being in North Korea in the war. He’s actually a really nice fur. Not as weird as everyone says he is. Almost as nice as you Todd,” Luna stated.\n\t“Speaking of your dad, have you heard anything else about him or those helicopters?” Todd asked.\n\t“No. I don’t think we will know until he calls, writes or comes back home alive… or dead,” Luna replied with a sigh.\n\t“I’m sorry you have to go through this Luna. I know it’s hard on you and your family,” Todd replied and placed his paw against her face. He rose his paw and moved her hair out of her eyes and placed it behind her ear.\n\t“Thanks,” Luna replied then leaned over and then locked him into a kiss.\n\t“Todd, is there anything special you want for dinner?” Vapor asked while standing behind the couch looking at the two.\n\n\tTodd jumped back pushing Luna away at the sound of the other voice. “Uh… N-No. No m-ma’am. I-I’ll eat almost anything that’s v-veggies or f-fruits and most meat, just no venison. Something about it makes me sick,” he replied and scooted away from Luna.\n\t“Sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you,” Vapor replied.\n\t“Oh um yeah. I. Umm,” Todd stuttered and then just stopped trying to talk.\n\t“Todd, I don’t care if you and Luna kiss as long as you two are being safe. Okay?” Vapor stated. He nodded and blushed looking back at Luna.\n\t“Luna, would you give me some private time with Todd please?” Vapor asked.\n\t“Sure. I’ll take your suitcase up,” Luna replied.\n\t“No! I’ll take it up later. You shouldn’t be lifting since you’re, you know,” Todd replied looking down at her belly.\n\t“Pregnant?” Luna asked.\n\t“Yeah,” Todd replied.\n\t“Okay then. See you soon,” Luna smiled and then left the room.\n\n\t“Okay Todd. I want to know about you. I hear things from the other parents and from the school. I want to know the REAL you. So start talking young bunny,” Vapor said sitting down.\n\n\t“Okay. Well…” Todd and Vapor talked for over an hour about him, his family, some of the issues at home, school and more.\n\n\t“You’re welcome here anytime Todd,” Vapor said with a smile.\n\t“Thanks Mrs. Wolfe. I know it’s been hard on Luna and Onai,” Todd said holding and rubbing his left arm.\n\t“Thanks Todd. You’re quite the different cub from what I’ve heard about. All teams were in route for undisclosed top secret missions. As such, no further details were given. We do not know if it was the sniper teams helicopters that were shot down or not. He unzipped his bag and checked the thirty magazine clips of ammo to ensure they were properly filled and loaded. He left the helicopter and rushed up to an ammo jeep and pulled out four ammo cases and hauled then back to the helicopter. He took the first ammo can and loaded the M-134 machine gun, which uses 50-caliber ammo, then strapped the others down into the ammo holder. “Locked and loaded. Let’s kick some ass,” Fang yelled out on the radio.

\tIn the shroud of night, the six helicopters lifted off and headed for Pyongyang. On board all helicopters was a total of almost thirty furs. Over an hour into the flight the sky lit up with tracer rounds. Dozens of rounds ripped through the skin of a few of the helicopters. As the six M-134 guns fired into the sparsely tree covered mountains, alerts sounded out in multiple helicopters.

\t“Taking fire from the north. Engage all ground targets,” Fang’s voice cracked over the radio.
\t“Contacts south,” Another unit sounded through the radio.
\t“We’re surrounded in all directions,” Another unit sounded.
\t“All units, engage targe… OH SHIT! Pilots…” Fang cracked over the radio then silence.

\tThe sky lit up orange as a blackhawk helicopter exploded and was left with a large fireball and burning debris falling to the ground. Just seconds later another explosion and fireball. The remaining helicopter pilots pulled up into defensive maneuvers to move to a safe distance.

\tTwo minutes after the remaining four helicopters had pulled up and out to safety, a voice cracked on the radio. “Report status of injuries,” The voice cracked on the radio.

\tAround two weeks after the report of the downed helicopters hit the NEWS channels, there had been no more updates on it. There was plenty of reports of ground troops marching into the capital city and many getting killed by gunfire and explosions within in the city.
