Willow's story starts on Tuesday May 21, 2002", "writing": "Saturday October 16, 2021\n\n\t“So you all really want to know about how Fang came to be along with Pepper and their dad and everything else?” Willow asked.\n\t“Yes! You’ve always been really secretive about it.” Fang stated as he limped into the living room while Vapor supported him. He still has the metal bars in his leg from the car wreck just months before.\n\t“Okay. You’re uncle and I were laying in our bed. We had to share a bed in a tiny room, we barely fit in there. We were quite poor back then. The bed took up eighty percent of the room. Our dresser took up most of the rest of the space. We only had a few sets of clothes for each of us.” Willow stated.\n\t“You sure you want to do this Nova?” Willow asked.\n\t“Only if you want to.” Nova replied. Willow looked away for a moment later and then leaned over and kissed Nova.\n\t“Okay, yeah.” Willow replied with a nervous smile.\n\n\tNova placed his head between Willow’s legs and started licking, being careful not to fall down as he held his body over Willow. They quickly dressed and packed what little clothing and items they had. On their way out, Salma stopped the two of them and slapped both of them.\n\n\t“Dirty incestuous sinners. I hope you both burn in the deepest depths of hell.” Salma scowled as she slapped them both twice more.\n\n\t“Fuck you both. Fuck your religion. Fuck you both you goddamned religious nut jobs! I hope you die a painful death you cuntbag,” Nova shouted and flipped them off.\n\n\tNova grabbed Willow’s paw and rushed out of the door slamming it behind him with his hindpaw. He screamed then kicked the door in anger. He kicked the door so hard that he dented it inwards. After getting away from that trailer Nova got Willow to calm down and stopped her from crying. After half an hour, they headed out of the trailer park and towards town. Two hours later they walked up to the Sonic Drive In and sat down outside at one of the round metal tables.\n\n\t“Nova, I’m hungry.” Willow said quietly.\n\t\n\tNova opened his backpack and dug in it for a moment and pulled out $2.50.\n\n\t“We only have enough for a single burger.” Nova replied as he pushed the call button.\n\n\t“Welcome to Sonic! May I take your order?” A voice stated.\n\t“We’d like to get a number one with two waters please.” Nova stated.\n\t“Okay. It’ll be ready soon.” The voice stated.\n\n\tA few minutes passed and a thin female panther walked out to the two with a tray in her arms.\n\n\t“That’ll be $2.55 please.” The panther stated.\n\t“Oh. We’re short five cents.” Nova replied.\n\n\tWillow reached into her pocket and pulled out three pennies and handed them over.\n\n\t“Three cents it’s all I have.” Willow replied.\n\t“Close enough cuties. Enjoy your meal.” The panther replied with a feigned smile. She had noticed the bruises and scrapes on their faces and arms before she even got to the table.\n\n\tNova took the tray and sat it on the table in front of them. He handed Willow one of the waters and the hamburger and took the other water then handed the tray back to the panther. She took the tray and headed back inside. She stopped at the door and looked back at the two for a few seconds before stepping back inside the building.\n\n\t“You have the burger sis.” Nova stated.\n\t“You sure? We can share it.” Willow replied.\n\t“You eat it. I’ll be fine.” Nova replied with a smile.\n\n\tWillow took the burger and bit into it. After a few minutes she sat half of it down and pushed the small cardboard food tray to Nova.\n\n\t“I’m full. Please eat Nova.” Willow stated.\n\t“I don’t want you to be hungry, sis.” Nova replied.\n\t“I’m full. I promise.” Willow replied with a faint smile.\n\t“Okay.” Nova replied, knowing that she wasn’t telling the truth.\n\n\tNova picked up the burger and devoured it in under a minute. They sat there finishing the water and talking about what happened then discussing what they are going to do when a police car pulled up. Two police officers stepped out and walked up to them and sat down at the table and stared at the two.\n\n\t“Can we help you officers?” Nova asked.\n\t“It’s past curfew for fur’s under 18. Why are you two here?” One of the officers asked.\n\t“We got kicked out of our house maybe two and half hours ago, sir.” Nova replied.\n\t“Where are you staying?” The other asked.\n\t“We were going to walk to my friends house to see if we could stay there. But it’s late and I know that they’re already asleep. Plus it’s a mile or so away. It would take us an hour to walk there. We were going to sleep out here until morning.” Nova explained.\n\t“You can’t sleep here or at any other business. Against city laws.” The first officer stated. Nova sighed out and nodded his head.\n\t“Can you drive us to my friends house and we’ll see if they will let us stay there? Please?” Nova asked.\n\t“Sure. Come on.” The officer replied.\n\t“Thank you,” Nova said.\n\n\tThe four of them stood up and walked to the police car. Willow and Nova got into the backseat and waited for the officers to get in. After a minute of standing in front of the car talking, they got in.\n\n\t“Where’s he live at?” The officer asked.\n\t“152 Stanboard drive.” Nova replied.\n\n\tTen or fifteen minutes later the car stopped and the officer got out and opened the door for Nova and Willow. The three of them walked up to the house. They rung the bell a few times over the next couple of minutes. Finally the door lock clicked and the door opened slightly, then opened up fully.\n\n\t“How can I help you officer?” The Tibetan Mastiff asked grumpily.\n\t“Hello Mr. Dalton.” Nova stated.\n\t“Why are you with the police and why are you ringing our bell well past two AM?” Mr. Dalton asked grumpily.\n\t“Our parents kicked us out a couple of hours ago. My sister and I have no where to go. Leo was the first friend that I thought of. Could we stay here tonight please? I promise that we’ll explain everything that happened in the morning. Please?” Nova explained and asked.\n\t“If they don’t find a place, they’ll end up in jail for the night until we can figure out what’s going on with them and their parents.” The officer stated.\n\t“Very well. Come in. Be quiet, everyone is sleeping.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\t“Thank you Officer.” Nova stated.\n\t“Yup. Stay out of trouble you two.” The officer stated walking away.\n\t“You two can sleep on the couch tonight. I’ll pull it out for you.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\n***\nWednesday May 22, 2002\n\n\tThe next morning Nova and Willow was woken up by Mrs. Dalton. The two of them woke up with Willow embraced in Nova’s arms. They quickly got up and put the bed back into the couch and the cushions on the couch. Mrs. Dalton had entered the kitchen and had started breakfast. Nova and Willow walked into the kitchen.\n\n\t“Sorry if we woke you up last night Mrs. Dalton.” Nova replied.\n\t“It’s alright. Are you two okay? You’ve got bruises all over your arms and faces.” Mrs. Dalton asked.\n\t“This is Willow, my younger sister. I think we’re fine.” Nova stated.\n\t“Are we really bruised?” Willow asked. She gasped when she looked at her arms.\n\t“Your face too sweetie, go look for yourself. The bathroom is just over there.” Mrs. Dalton stated.\n\n\tThey both walked to the bathroom and looked. Willow whimpered loudly when she saw herself in the mirror. Their face was mostly bruised. There is a bruise about two inches wide across her face from the belt. Willow lifted her shirt up, her chest and back were covered in bruises, all from the belt. After a moment they walked back into the living room and sat down. Willow leaned over and rested her head against Nova’s shoulder. They waited and quietly talked to each other until Leo walked into the living room.\n\n\t“Nova? Why are YOU here?” Leo scowled.\n\t“Leo! Be nice! They’re guests.” His mom scowled at him.\n\t“Sorry mom.” Leo replied while Nova walked up to him and attempted to shake paws.\n\n\t“Leo, I know we’ve had our differences over the past few months. But Willow and I got kicked out. We needed a place to go and you were my first thought. Can we put our argument behind us, please?” Nova stated.\n\t“Whatever. Just stay out of my way.” Leo replied and walked towards the kitchen.\n\n\t“Breakfast is ready!” Mrs. Dalton called out.\n\n\tA moment later Mr. Dalton walked into the kitchen and looked at the two. He jerked his head backwards startled at the sight of them with all the bruises. He sat down and everyone began eating. Willow and Nova waited until the Dalton’s had their food.\n\n\t“You two going to eat?” Mr. Dalton asked.\n\t“Just waiting for all of you to get your food first.” Nova replied.\n\t“Nonsense. Get your breakfast.” Mrs. Dalton replied pointing to their plates.\n\n\tWith a smile Nova and Willow took a couple of pancakes, bacon and eggs on their plate and started eating. Everyone ate in silence until Mr. Dalton spoke up.\n\n\t“So, tell us. Why were you kicked out of your house?” He asked.\n\t“It’s not a meal time conversation sir. We’ll talk about it after breakfast, if that’s okay with you.” Nova replied.\n\t“Okay.” Mr. Dalton replied.\n\n\tAfter breakfast, Nova and Willow helped Mrs. Dalton clean up the kitchen. Afterwards the three of them headed into the living room. Nova and Willow sat on the floor, while Leo took the chair and his parents took the couch.\n\n\t“We were caught … having sex together. But both of us are pretty strong willed and physically strong.” Nova replied.\n\t“You two go outside please. We need to talk.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\n\tWillow and Nova stood up and walked outside. The two of them sat outside on the front steps. Willow sat between Nova’s legs. Nova wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug then kissed the back of her head. They sat there mostly in silence, for what seemed like hours to them. Finally the door opened up and Mr. Dalton called them back inside.\n\n\t“Sit down.” Mr. Dalton stated. You and Nova will help Luann and I get it ready for you.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\t“Thank you.” Willow replied.\n\n***\nFriday, June 18, 2004\n\n\tOver the next two years everyone worked well together, Nova and Leo made up over the course of a couple of months. Willow and Leo became friends and enjoyed being with each other.\n\n\t“Mom. Dad. I need to talk to you both.” Leo stated. He looked at his watch for some unknown reason, the time was blinking, the battery was dying it seemed.\n\n\tNova sat down in a chair. Willow stood a few feet away from Leo, next to Nova.\n\n\t“What is it?” Mr. Dalton asked.\n\t“I don’t know how to say this. I…” Leo said and then stopped talking. He sighed and looked down at the floor for a moment.\n\t“Willow is pregnant and it’s mine.” Leo stated. His ears flattened against his head, knowing what was going to happen to Willow and Nova.\n\t“What?” Both Mr. and Mrs. Dalton exclaimed.\n\t“I’m around three weeks pregnant.” Willow replied hanging her head down.\n\t“Henry?” Mrs. Dalton said looking over at her husband. They both sighed and took a moment to think in silence.\n\t“Do you three remember what we told you when you and Nova first arrived?” Mr. Dalton asked.\n\t“Yes sir. You’d kick us out if we were caught having sex or I got pregnant.” Willow replied quietly.\n\t“It wasn’t you and Nova thankfully, but you and our son. What I said still stands. Willow you’re almost 14 and pregnant. Leo you’re almost 15 and soon to be a father. The three of you wait outside now. Don’t go anywhere.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\n\tThe three of them went outside. They sat down on the steps and quietly talked for a short time before going silent. More than an hour later Mr. Dalton stepped outside. He looked down at Leo and Willow. She was sitting between his legs and his arms wrapped around her, embracing her in a hug.\n\n\t“Come in all of you.” Dalton stated. “Sit down. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” He added.\n\n\tThe three of them sat on the couch while Mrs. Dalton sat in the chair looking at the three of them. Her face had remorse heavily written all over it. The three of them already knew what was about to happen, no one had to say it. Mr. Dalton returned with an envelop in his paw.\n\n\t“All three of you are out of here. We warned you all what would happen. You have an hour to pack and get out.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\n\tA bit over an hour later the three of them stood at the door. Mr. and Mrs. Dalton stood in front of them.\n\n\t“Here’s four hundred dollars to get you a cheap motel and food.” Mr. Dalton stated handing Nova the envelop.\n\t“I’m sorry mom and dad.” Leo stated as tears dripped from his eyes.\n\t“Too late for that now. You’re a father out of wedlock.” Mrs. Dalton stated.\n\t“I’m sorry too. I know, too late for that.” Willow stated.\n\t“Take care of yourself. When the time comes, go to the hospital. They can’t refuse service to anyone, with or without insurance.” Mrs. Dalton stated.\n\t“Leave.” Mr Dalton stated as he opened the door.\n\t“Please no, mom dad.” Leo said.\n\t“You shouldn’t have had sex. We warned you two and you heard it Leo. We won’t have you as a father and you as a mother out of marriage. We won’t allow you to abort either since it’s against our religion.” Mr. Dalton replied.\n\t“Fine whatever. We don’t need you anyway.” Leo replied and turned around facing the door.\n\n\tThe three of them stepped outside with their bags. Leo shut the door behind them.\n\t“I’m sorry Nova.” Willow stated.\n\t“It’s fine. No worries. We’re still together.” Nova replied.\n\t“Got an idea Leo?” Nova asked.\n\t“The motel at Leonard Street and Fifth Street maybe.” Leo replied.\n\t“Not the best of places, but it’s cheap and a place to live. If they’ll let us rent.” Nova stated knocking on the door.\n\n\tMr. Dalton answered the door.\n\n\t“Could you drive us down to Leonard Street please?” Nova asked.\n\t“The least I could do I suppose. Go get in the car. I’ll be back shortly Luann.” Mr. Dalton stated.\n\n\tFifteen minutes later they pulled up to the motel and got out.\n\n\t“Thank you dad. I’m sorry for saying that we didn’t need you.” Leo stated.\n\t“It’s okay. You three be safe. Here’s a couple hundred dollars more for a couple more months. Take care of yourselves.” Mr. Dalton stated before pulling away.\n\n\tThe three of them stepped into the motel main building and requested a room for the three of them, explaining their situation. After hearing the prices, they decided on the 6 month price of $85 per month, $510 total.\n\n\t“That doesn’t leave us with much money. $90 left. We need to find a job.” Leo stated.\n\t“Yeah. We’ll start looking in a day or two.” Nova replied.\n\t“Ma’am could we get a key for each of us?” Willow asked.\n\t“Sure thing. ‘ere you go. Don’t lose ‘em. Cost to replace them are $25 each. Now for the rules. No parties. No loud noises between 10 PM and 9 AM. No smoking in the room. No drugs. No drinking alcohol. City curfew laws still apply here since you’re all underage. You CAN be out in front of your room between the two rail pillars, at the laundry, the icebox, mailbox, office and payphone. If you cause too many issues, we’ll evict you and you lose your payment in full. Understood?” The motel worker explained.\n\t“Yes Ma’am.” They all replied.\n\n\tShe walked them to their room and opened it up. The room had two queen sized beds, a small kitchen and bathroom. The room was only 20 foot by 15 foot. The bathroom and kitchen were 6 foot by 7.5 foot each. Space between each bed was only a foot. The bed closest to the bathroom was only 2 feet away from the wall.\n\n\t“Wow, it’s small. But I think it’s doable though.” Nova stated.\n\t“At least there’s enough room for a crib for our pup by the dresser and TV.” Willow stated.\n\t“Yeah. I suggest getting food now. The store at the end of the road is petty good. They have handheld shopping baskets that you can buy for five dollars and you can use it to bring food back easier than bags. Also, no one delivers out here after 8 PM or whenever the sun sets, so plan accordingly.” The motel worker replied.\n\n\tNova and Leo watched as the motel worker left the room and shut the door behind her. Nova sat on the bed and Leo walked over to Willow who had sat down at the dinner table. He leaned over and kissed Willow before lifting back up. She smiled at him.\n\t“I love you Leo.” She said.\n\t“Love you too.” He replied.\n\t“And I love you both.” Nova replied causing Willow to giggle.\n\n***\nMonday, June 28, 2004\n\n\t“We finally got a job. It’s not much though. They’ll only allow us to work twenty hours a week during the summer. Ten hours during school.” Leo stated.\n\t“It’s something at least. We’ll have money for food and clothing. We’re still paid up for the next 5 months.” Willow replied smiling. “So what is it?” She asked.\n\t“Sorting garbage for recycling as it comes in.” Nova replied sighing.\n\t“Better than nothing.” Willow replied.\n\t“We had to beg them to hire Leo though. He’s a year underage for a job. They finally gave in after they figured out we weren’t going to give up or go away.” Nova added.\n\t“How much does it pay?” Willow asked.\n\t“$6.50 per hour.” Leo replied.\n\t“That’s not a whole lot. Maybe $225 after taxes taken out, between both of you.” Willow replied.\n\t“As you said, it’s something and can at least pay for food and clothing. We’ll have to save carefully for the next six months of rent.” Nova replied.\n\t“When do you start?” Willow asked.\n\t“Tomorrow at 10 AM. We’ll have to leave here at 8 AM to get there in time.” Leo replied.\n\t“It’ll work out well for summer,” Willow replied.\n\n***\nFriday July 30, 2004\n\n\t“He’s a cutey.” Willow said holding a boy pup in her arms.\n\t“Has most of your looks it seems. Luckily the pup had no teeth at this time.\n\n\t“What about Fang?” Nova stated.\n\t“Fang Dalton?” Willow said quietly.\n\t“Fang Wolfe. We’re not married.” Leo replied.\n\t“Maybe in the next couple of years we can though.” Willow replied.\n\t“Nurse, his name is Fang Wolfe.” Leo stated.\n\t“You agree with the name?” The nurse asked.\n\t“Yes, Cerberus for the middle name.” Willow replied.\n\t“Can we go home now? I need to get groceries.” Willow stated standing up.\n\t“If you work for me, I’ll pay off your hospital bill in full. Let me know soon.” Gil replied.\n\n\tWillow rushed out of the store, disturbed from the conversation. She continued her walk down the walkway to the store. A few hours later Willow sat in the motel room holding Fang while they watched TV. Nova and Leo entered after getting off work. Both stunk of garbage.\n\n\t“After you two clean up, I need to talk to you both.” Willow stated.\n\t“Sure.” Both replied.\n\n\tAbout an hour passed when Leo finally stepped out of the bathroom with a towel over his shoulders and boxers on. He plopped down on the bed and looked over at Willow. Nova was in the kitchen getting Willow a drink.\n\n\t“So what’s up?” Leo asked.\n\t“I was offered a job. But I’m not sure about it though.” Willow stated.\n\t“That’s good. We could use the extra income.” Leo stated.\n\t“Yeah it’s great. The pay is ten dollars an hour. But with limited options… I don’t know.” Willow replied.\n\n***\nSaturday July 9, 2005\n\n\tA couple days later the three of them sat at table under an umbrella eating ice cream cones. Fang was in Willow’s lap licking at the ice cream cone that his mom was holding in front of him.\n\n\t“Take the job if you want to, but I don’t like it. Tell him he’s to use condoms.” Leo stated sighing out.\n\t“Nova?” Willow asked.\n\t“I don’t like it either but I see no other option. I’ll go back on Monday and let him know.” Willow sighed out.\n\n\tAn hour later they had returned to the motel room. Willow sat on the bed with Fang sleeping in her arms. Leo jumped up out of the chair and looked at Willow.\n\t“What?” Willow asked.\n\t“I got you a little something. A garbage truck worker saw it at a trashcan. It’s almost brand new. We cleaned it up. Washed and disinfected the entire thing. I just remembered it.” Leo stated pulling out a folded up stroller from the closet. He had hidden it a few days ago. \n\t“That’s awesome. I’ll be able to use it. Tell them I said thank you.” Willow replied.\n\n***\nMonday July 11, 2005\n\n\tThe following Monday Willow opened the door to the furniture store and pulled the stroller inside. Gil stood at the counter and smiled when he saw Willow enter. He walked over and greeted her.\n\n\t“I’ll take the job with conditions.” Willow stated looking at a chair just a few feet away.\n\t“Good to hear. What are the conditions?” Gil asked.\n\t“First, Fang, my pup, comes first, no matter what is going on.” Willow stated.\n\t“Of course. Anything else?” Gil asked.\n\t“If you do anything to me, you WILL wear a condom. Within seconds she yelped out in pain. Nova stood there in horror, unsure of what to do. After a few moments Willow sat up crying from the pain. She looked down and saw that she had miscarried from being struck.\n\n\t“What do we do Nova?” Willow cried.\n\t“Nothing we can do about it. It’s gone. I’ll take care of it.” Nova replied.\n\t“I can’t keep working there, Nova. He’ll do it again. So many times a week he has sex with me. Multiple times everyday. Sometimes even five or six times in a day.” Willow cried in Nova’s arms.\n\t“I know. But keep working there, I have a plan. I just need some time. Leo showed up a little later. They explained to Leo that she took a tumble and hurt herself and just wanted to make sure she wasn’t hurt internally. He bought the story.\n\n***\nSaturday September 9, 2006\n\n\tA year later Fang’s third birthday came and gone. Willow, now 16, continued working at the furniture store. About twenty minutes later a police car pulled up. The officer stepped out and greeted Willow. She explained the situation and the daily schedule of the store. The officer peered through the windows. On the left side of the door he noticed something and called for backup.\n\n\tWithin minutes sirens sounded out in front of the store. The police busted out the glass out of the door and stepped inside. Willow took Fang in her arms and cautiously followed them in. They stepped behind the counter and saw Gil on the ground, the phone receiver in his paw. Willow gasped and jumped backwards. The police quickly checked his vitals and then called for the coroner. Willow used one of the officers cellphone to call Leo and Nova at work. Half an hour later they both showed up at the store, driven by their manager of the recycling plant. They tried to enter but was stopped by the police out front.\n\n\t“Willow’s my sister. Leo is her boyfriend.” Nova stated.\n\t“She’ll be out shortly. You can’t enter, I’m sorry.” The officer replied.\n\n\tThey waited for ten minutes for Willow to come outside. A bit later she finally stepped outside and rushed up to Leo. He hugged her, careful not to hurt Fang in her arms. Nova hugged her next. She explained what happened after she arrived. A police officer walked up to the three of them and explained the situation and how it’s going to be handled.\n\n\t“Could we get a ride home please?” Willow asked.\n\t“Sure. They asked for her to come down to the station. Later in the day, she walked into the front of the station. A detective greeted her and sat her in his office.\n\n\t“Did you know that Gil Tasmin put you in his will?” The detective asked.\n\t“Yes. But I have no idea why. I told him it wasn’t necessary. \tWillow took the burger and bit into it. After a few minutes she sat half of it down and pushed the small cardboard food tray to Nova.

\tNova picked up the burger and devoured it in under a minute. They sat there finishing the water and talking about what happened then discussing what they are going to do when a police car pulled up. Two police officers stepped out and walked up to them and sat down at the table and stared at the two.

\t“Can we help you officers?” Nova asked.
\t“It’s past curfew for fur’s under 18. Why are you two here?” One of the officers asked.
\t“We got kicked out of our house maybe two and half hours ago, sir.” Nova replied.
\t“Where are you staying?” The other asked.
\t“We were going to walk to my friends house to see if we could stay there. But it’s late and I know that they’re already asleep. Plus it’s a mile or so away. It would take us an hour to walk there. We were going to sleep out here until morning.” Nova explained.
\t“You can’t sleep here or at any other business. Against city laws.” The first officer stated. Nova sighed out and nodded his head.
\t“Can you drive us to my friends house and we’ll see if they will let us stay there? Please?” Nova asked.
\t“Sure. Come on.” The officer replied.

\tThe four of them stood up and walked to the police car. Willow and Nova got into the backseat and waited for the officers to get in. After a minute of standing in front of the car talking, they got in.

\tTen or fifteen minutes later the car stopped and the officer got out and opened the door for Nova and Willow. The three of them walked up to the house. \t“Our parents kicked us out a couple of hours ago. My sister and I have no where to go. Leo was the first friend that I thought of. Could we stay here tonight please? I promise that we’ll explain everything that happened in the morning. Please?” Nova explained and asked.
\t“If they don’t find a place, they’ll end up in jail for the night until we can figure out what’s going on with them and their parents.” The officer stated.

\tThe next morning Nova and Willow was woken up by Mrs. Dalton. The two of them woke up with Willow embraced in Nova’s arms. \t“Leo! Be nice! They’re guests.” His mom scowled at him.
\t“Sorry mom.” Leo replied while Nova walked up to him and attempted to shake paws.

\t“Leo, I know we’ve had our differences over the past few months. But Willow and I got kicked out. We needed a place to go and you were my first thought. Can we put our argument behind us, please?” Nova stated.
\t“Whatever. Just stay out of my way.” Leo replied and walked towards the kitchen.

\t“Breakfast is ready!” Mrs. Dalton called out.

\tA moment later Mr. Dalton walked into the kitchen and looked at the two. He jerked his head backwards startled at the sight of them with all the bruises. He sat down and everyone began eating. Willow and Nova waited until the Dalton’s had their food.

\t“You two going to eat?” Mr. Dalton asked.
\t“Just waiting for all of you to get your food first.” Nova replied.
\t“Nonsense. Get your breakfast.” Mrs. Dalton replied pointing to their plates.

\tWith a smile Nova and Willow took a couple of pancakes, bacon and eggs on their plate and started eating. Everyone ate in silence until Mr. Dalton spoke up.

\t“So, tell us. Why were you kicked out of your house?” He asked.
\t“It’s not a meal time conversation sir. We’ll talk about it after breakfast, if that’s okay with you.” Nova replied.
\t“Okay.” Mr. Dalton replied.

\tAfter breakfast, Nova and Willow helped Mrs. Dalton clean up the kitchen. Afterwards the three of them headed into the living room. Nova and Willow sat on the floor, while Leo took the chair and his parents took the couch.

\t“We were caught … having sex together. It’s why we were kicked out. Plain and simple. Just a mistake.” Nova said.
\t“Oh wow. Really? You perverts.” Leo laughed out loud.
\t“LEO! Enough.” Mr. Dalton scowled.
\t“Yes sir. Sorry.” Leo replied.
\t“Okay. That’s something alright. What about the bruises?” Mr. Dalton asked.
\t“Bastard dad beat both of us for quite some time. First his paws and then with his belt for almost ten minutes. Then kicked us out. Mom hit us also.” Nova replied.
\t“I know your upset, but watch your language please.” Mrs. Dalton stated.
\t“Sorry Ma’am.” Willow replied.
\t“What are you two going to do now?” Mr. Dalton asked.
\t“We don’t know. We have no where to go except to live on the streets.” Willow stated.
\t“That’s a tough life out there. On the streets.” Mr. Dalton stated.
\t“I’m sure it is. But both of us are pretty strong willed and physically strong.” Nova replied.
\t“You two go outside please. We need to talk.” Mr. Dalton stated.

\tWillow and Nova stood up and walked outside. The two of them sat outside on the front steps. Willow sat between Nova’s legs. Nova wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug then kissed the back of her head. They sat there mostly in silence, for what seemed like hours to them. Finally the door opened up and Mr. Dalton called them back inside.

\t“Sit down.” Mr. Dalton stated. Nova and Willow looked at the Dalton family during the short moment of silence.
\t“If you two promise that you won’t have sex anymore, with anyone, until you’re eighteen, you are both welcome to stay here. You’ll continue going to school. You’ll keep your grades up. You’ll have chores and help around the house and with errands. If we catch you having sex, or get pregnant, you will be kicked out of here, both of you. Doesn’t matter which one was caught. Understood?” Mr. Dalton stated.

\tNova and Willow looked at each other and nodded.

\t“Yes sir. We won’t do it again. We promise.” Both of them stated.
\t“Nova, you’ll sleep in Leo’s room with him.” Mr. Dalton stated.
\t“NO!” Leo scowled.
\t“We don’t fully get along sir. We’ve had our differences in the past couple of months.” Nova replied.
\t“Leo, he’s going to sleep in your room. You two settle your differences by tonight. Understood?” Mr. Dalton stated.
\t“Yes sir.” Both replied while Leo was glaring at Nova in anger.
\t“Willow, you’ll take our spare bedroom. You and Nova will help Luann and I get it ready for you.” Mr. Dalton stated.
\t“Thank you.” Willow replied.

\tOver the next two years everyone worked well together, Nova and Leo made up over the course of a couple of months. Willow and Leo became friends and enjoyed being with each other.

\t“Mom. Dad. I need to talk to you both.” Leo stated. He looked at his watch for some unknown reason, the time was blinking, the battery was dying it seemed.

\tNova sat down in a chair. Willow stood a few feet away from Leo, next to Nova.

\t“What is it?” Mr. Dalton asked.
\t“I don’t know how to say this. I…” Leo said and then stopped talking. He sighed and looked down at the floor for a moment.
\t“Willow is pregnant and it’s mine.” Leo stated. His ears flattened against his head, knowing what was going to happen to Willow and Nova.
\t“What?” Both Mr. and Mrs. Dalton exclaimed.
\t“I’m around three weeks pregnant.” Willow replied hanging her head down.
\t“Henry?” Mrs. Dalton said looking over at her husband. They both sighed and took a moment to think in silence.
\t“Do you three remember what we told you when you and Nova first arrived?” Mr. Dalton asked.
\t“Yes sir. You’d kick us out if we were caught having sex or I got pregnant.” Willow replied quietly.
\t“It wasn’t you and Nova thankfully, but you and our son. What I said still stands. Willow you’re almost 14 and pregnant. Leo you’re almost 15 and soon to be a father. The three of you wait outside now. Don’t go anywhere.” Mr. Dalton stated.

\tThe three of them went outside. They sat down on the steps and quietly talked for a short time before going silent. More than an hour later Mr. Dalton stepped outside. He looked down at Leo and Willow. She was sitting between his legs and his arms wrapped around her, embracing her in a hug.

\t“Come in all of you.” Dalton stated. “Sit down. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” He added.

\tThe three of them sat on the couch while Mrs. Dalton sat in the chair looking at the three of them. Her face had remorse heavily written all over it. The three of them already knew what was about to happen, no one had to say it. Mr. Dalton returned with an envelop in his paw.

\t“All three of you are out of here. We warned you all what would happen. You have an hour to pack and get out.” Mr. Dalton stated.

\tA bit over an hour later the three of them stood at the door. Mr. and Mrs. Dalton stood in front of them.

\t“Here’s four hundred dollars to get you a cheap motel and food.” Mr. Dalton stated handing Nova the envelop.
\t“I’m sorry mom and dad.” Leo stated as tears dripped from his eyes.
\t“Too late for that now. You’re a father out of wedlock.” Mrs. Dalton stated.
\t“I’m sorry too. I know, too late for that.” Willow stated.
\t“Take care of yourself. When the time comes, go to the hospital. They can’t refuse service to anyone, with or without insurance.” Mrs. Dalton stated.
\t“Leave.” Mr Dalton stated as he opened the door.
\t“Please no, mom dad.” Leo said.
\t“You shouldn’t have had sex. We warned you two and you heard it Leo. We won’t have you as a father and you as a mother out of marriage. We won’t allow you to abort either since it’s against our religion.”  Mr. Dalton replied.
\t“Fine whatever. We don’t need you anyway.” Leo replied and turned around facing the door.

\tThe three of them stepped outside with their bags. Leo shut the door behind them.
\t“I’m sorry Nova.” Willow stated.
\t“It’s fine. No worries. We’re still together.” Nova replied.
\t“Got an idea Leo?” Nova asked.
\t“The motel at Leonard Street and Fifth Street maybe.” Leo replied.
\t“Not the best of places, but it’s cheap and a place to live. If they’ll let us rent.” Nova stated knocking on the door.

\tMr. Dalton answered the door.

\t“Could you drive us down to Leonard Street please?” Nova asked.
\t“The least I could do I suppose. Go get in the car. I’ll be back shortly Luann.” Mr. Dalton stated.

\tFifteen minutes later they pulled up to the motel and got out.

\t“Thank you dad. I’m sorry for saying that we didn’t need you.” Leo stated.
\t“It’s okay. You three be safe. Here’s a couple hundred dollars more for a couple more months. Take care of yourselves.” Mr. Dalton stated before pulling away.

\tThe three of them stepped into the motel main building and requested a room for the three of them, explaining their situation. After hearing the prices, they decided on the 6 month price of $85 per month, $510 total.

\t“That doesn’t leave us with much money. $90 left. We need to find a job.” Leo stated.
\t“Yeah. We’ll start looking in a day or two.” Nova replied.
\t“Ma’am could we get a key for each of us?” Willow asked.
\t“Sure thing. ‘ere you go. Don’t lose ‘em. Cost to replace them are $25 each. Now for the rules. No parties. No loud noises between 10 PM and 9 AM. No smoking in the room. No drugs. No drinking alcohol. City curfew laws still apply here since you’re all underage. You CAN be out in front of your room between the two rail pillars, at the laundry, the icebox, mailbox, office and payphone. If you cause too many issues, we’ll evict you and you lose your payment in full. Understood?” The motel worker explained.
\t“Yes Ma’am.” They all replied.

\tShe walked them to their room and opened it up. The room had two queen sized beds, a small kitchen and bathroom. The room was only 20 foot by 15 foot. The bathroom and kitchen were 6 foot by 7.5 foot each. Space between each bed was only a foot. The bed closest to the bathroom was only 2 feet away from the wall.

\t“Wow, it’s small. But I think it’s doable though.” Nova stated.
\t“At least there’s enough room for a crib for our pup by the dresser and TV.” Willow stated.
\t“Yeah. I really fucked up.” Leo replied.
\t“WE fucked up.” Willow replied.
\t“Yeah… we.” Leo replied.
\t“Thank you Ma’am.” Nova replied.
\t“Anytime kids. You have about six hours before curfew. I suggest getting food now. The store at the end of the road is petty good. They have handheld shopping baskets that you can buy for five dollars and you can use it to bring food back easier than bags.  Also, no one delivers out here after 8 PM or whenever the sun sets, so plan accordingly.” The motel worker replied.

\tNova and Leo watched as the motel worker left the room and shut the door behind her. Nova sat on the bed and Leo walked over to Willow who had sat down at the dinner table. He leaned over and kissed Willow before lifting back up. She smiled at him.
\t“I love you Leo.” She said.
\t“Love you too.” He replied.
\t“And I love you both.” Nova replied causing Willow to giggle.

\t“We finally got a job. It’s not much though. They’ll only allow us to work twenty hours a week during the summer. Ten hours during school.” Leo stated.
\t“It’s something at least. We’ll have money for food and clothing. We’re still paid up for the next 5 months.” Willow replied smiling. “So what is it?” She asked.
\t“Sorting garbage for recycling as it comes in.” Nova replied sighing.
\t“Better than nothing.” Willow replied.
\t“We had to beg them to hire Leo though. He’s a year underage for a job. They finally gave in after they figured out we weren’t going to give up or go away.” Nova added.
\t“How much does it pay?” Willow asked.
\t“$6.50 per hour.” Leo replied.
\t“That’s not a whole lot. Maybe $225 after taxes taken out, between both of you.” Willow replied.
\t“As you said, it’s something and can at least pay for food and clothing. We’ll have to save carefully for the next six months of rent.” Nova replied.
\t“When do you start?” Willow asked.
\t“Tomorrow at 10 AM. We’ll have to leave here at 8 AM to get there in time.” Leo replied.
\t“It’ll work out well for summer,” Willow replied.

\t“He’s a cutey.” Willow said holding a boy pup in her arms.
\t“Has most of your looks it seems. Has my thick fur though.” Leo replied.
\t“What about his name?” Willow asked.
\t“I don’t know. I haven’t had time to think about it.” Leo replied.

\tNova reached down to tickle the pup under his muzzle, but instead, the pup bit him. Nova quickly jerked his paw back and shook his paw. Luckily the pup had no teeth at this time.

\t“What about Fang?” Nova stated.
\t“Fang Dalton?” Willow said quietly.
\t“Fang Wolfe. We’re not married.” Leo replied.
\t“Maybe in the next couple of years we can though.” Willow replied.
\t“Nurse, his name is Fang Wolfe.” Leo stated.
\t“You agree with the name?” The nurse asked.
\t“Yes, Cerberus for the middle name.” Willow replied.
\t“Can we go home now? I’m tired.” Willow asked.
\t“If you’re tired, maybe you should stay here for the night. We’ll stay with you.” Leo stated.
\t“We can’t afford a night though. We can’t afford the birth as is.” Willow stated.
\t“We’ll figure it out. I promise.” Leo replied placing his paw on her cheek.
\t“Okay.” Willow replied as she scooted down further into the bed.

\tThe three of them stayed at the hospital for the rest of the evening and that night. The night nurses were nice enough to bring Leo and Nova some fast food and snuck Willow some as well.

\tWillow was heading to the grocery store as she walked by Gil’s Furniture store. Gil, a 45 year old Tasmanian Devil, stood outside. Willow stopped and waved at him.

\t“Hi Gil.” Willow said.
\t“Hi there Willow. The little one is growing fast I see.” Gil replied.
\t“Yeah. Almost a year old in just a few weeks. He’s starting to eat more than we can supply.” Willow replied.
\t“Still struggling?” Gil asked.
\t“Yeah. Barely making payments for everything since the hospital bill is taking half of Nova’s and Leo’s combined income.” Willow replied.
\t“Please, come in. Let’s talk out of this heat.” Gil stated wiping sweat from his forehead. It was almost a year since Fang’s birth. The early July afternoon was sweltering hot, nearing 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

\tWillow stepped inside and Gil followed behind her. He placed his paw on her shoulder and motioned for her to sit in on a chair in the showroom.

\t“I’ll cut to the chase. I’d be willing to offer you a job. It would pay ten dollars an hour.” Gil stated.
\t“I’m only 14. You know that right?” Willow replied.
\t“Doesn’t matter. I’ll pay you under the table.” Gil stated.
\t“What’s the catch?” Willow asked.
\t“You work here and provide me with … certain services.” Gil stated clearing his throat.
\t“What do you mean certain services?” Willow asked feeling uneasy.
\t“You’re a smart girl. I think you know what I mean.” Gil replied.
\t“I. I don’t know. I’ll think about it. I’m sorry I have to go. I need to get groceries.” Willow stated standing up.
\t“If you work for me, I’ll pay off your hospital bill in full. Let me know soon.” Gil replied.

\tWillow rushed out of the store, disturbed from the conversation. She continued her walk down the walkway to the store. A few hours later Willow sat in the motel room holding Fang while they watched TV. Nova and Leo entered after getting off work. Both stunk of garbage.

\t“After you two clean up, I need to talk to you both.” Willow stated.
\t“Sure.” Both replied.

\tAbout an hour passed when Leo finally stepped out of the bathroom with a towel over his shoulders and boxers on. He plopped down on the bed and looked over at Willow. Nova was in the kitchen getting Willow a drink.

\t“So what’s up?” Leo asked.
\t“I was offered a job. But I’m not sure about it though.” Willow stated.
\t“That’s good. We could use the extra income.” Leo stated.
\t“Yeah it’s great. The pay is ten dollars an hour. But there’s a catch.” Willow replied.
\t“What’s the catch?” Nova asked walking back into the main room.
\t“He wants me to ‘service’ him.” Willow replied with air quotes.
\t“What does that mean?” Leo asked.
\t“He wants to have sex with her, Leo.” Nova stated.
\t“What the hell? No. Not at all.” Leo scowled.
\t“Leo we NEED the money or we’ll be evicted in two months. He said he would pay off the hospital bill in full as well.” Willow replied.
\t“I don’t like it.” Leo replied.
\t“I don’t either Leo. But what should we do? We can’t get a second job. We’re maxed out already with school and the recycling center.” Nova stated.
\t“Let’s think about it, okay?” Leo stated after minutes of silence.
\t“Okay. So you know. I don’t like it either. But with limited options… I don’t know.” Willow replied.

Saturday July 9, 2005

\tA couple days later the three of them sat at table under an umbrella eating ice cream cones. Fang was in Willow’s lap licking at the ice cream cone that his mom was holding in front of him.

\t“Take the job if you want to, but I don’t like it. Tell him he’s to use condoms.” Leo stated sighing out.
\t“Nova?” Willow asked.
\t“I don’t like it either but I see no other option. The recycling center won’t increase our hours until we’re 18 and out of school. We asked for a small pay raise and they instantly denied it.” Nova replied.
\t“Okay. I’ll go back on Monday and let him know.” Willow sighed out.

\tAn hour later they had returned to the motel room. Willow sat on the bed with Fang sleeping in her arms. Leo jumped up out of the chair and looked at Willow.
\t“What?” Willow asked.
\t“I got you a little something. A garbage truck worker saw it at a trashcan. It’s almost brand new. We cleaned it up. Washed and disinfected the entire thing. I just remembered it.” Leo stated pulling out a folded up stroller from the closet. He had hidden it a few days ago.
\t“That’s awesome. I’ll be able to use it. Tell them I said thank you.” Willow replied.

Monday July 11, 2005

\tThe following Monday Willow opened the door to the furniture store and pulled the stroller inside. Gil stood at the counter and smiled when he saw Willow enter. He walked over and greeted her.

\t“I’ll take the job with conditions.” Willow stated looking at a chair just a few feet away.
\t“Good to hear. What are the conditions?” Gil asked.
\t“First, Fang, my pup, comes first, no matter what is going on.” Willow stated.
\t“Of course. Anything else?” Gil asked.
\t“If you do anything to me, you WILL wear a condom. I’ll report you to the police if you don’t.” Willow stated looking down.
\t“Anything else?” Gil asked.
\t“No.” Willow replied.
\t“Good. Follow me.” Gil stated as he locked the door and flipped the open sign to closed.

\tWillow pushed the stroller and followed behind Gil. They walked past the counter and Gil opened the office door.

\t“He… can stay out here.” Gil stated staring at Fang.

\tWillow squatted down and kissed Fang. “I’ll be back soon Fang.” Willow stated and kissed him once again.

\tAs soon as Willow stepped into the office, Gil closed the door and turned to Willow. A wide smile came over his muzzle.

\t“Strip down.” Gil stated.

\tShe stood there shocked at his request already. After a moment he repeated himself. Slowly and nervously Willow stripped down. She stood there naked covering her groin up. Gil licked his lips as drool dripped from the corner of his mouth. He pushed her backwards onto the desk and positioned her legs upwards and sat them on the desk, spread out, to get a good look at her. He squatted down and licked at her slit. Over the next few hours Gil showed her how to use the register, how to fill out customer forms, the computer system and various other things around the store. As the day turned to evening, Willow got ready to leave to head home with Fang asleep in the stroller. As she reached for the stroller Gil grabbed her paw and pulled her back into the office. After ten minutes she stepped back out. She took the stroller and left the store heading back home.

\tA couple weeks after starting at the furniture store, Willow walked in pushing Fang in the stroller. There were a few customer’s so she quickly got behind the counter and started helping. After a while all of the customers finally left. Leaving Willow and Gil alone. Gil called her to the office. Upon entering he tossed her a pair of string bikini panties.

\t“You’ll wear them while you’re working.” Gil stated. Willow held them up and looked at them.
\t“Okay.” Willow replied grimly as she clenched them in her paw.
\t“Come here.” Gil stated.

\tTwo hours later Nova pushed the front door open and rushed up to Gil and slammed him against the wall.

\t“If you punch or beat my sister again, I’ll fucking kill you. You understand?” Nova scowled and snapped his jaws shut just an inch from Gil’s face. He punched the wall near his head and growled. His red eyes glowed in the bright light of the store. Gil nodded quickly in shock. Nova let him go and walked away. He grabbed the door handle and looked back and glared at Gil who gulped hard. Nova flung the door open then left. Gil moved away from the wall and exhaled. He looked at the wall. He saw the hole going through the drywall on both sides of the wall and a 2 by 4 that was shattered completely through it’s four inch side.

\tWillow continued working at the furniture store. The hospital bill was paid in full, as promised. The pay was good and allowed them to catch up on the bills they had and able to start saving a little each payday.

\tWillow walked into the store after school and rushed up to Gil. She grabbed him by his shirt and pushed him against the wall.

\t“Yeah. You’re right. I didn’t. I ran out. OOPS!” He replied and smiled. Gil walked into the office and shut the door, hard, almost slamming it. Less than a minute later he yelled at Willow to come into the office. As soon as she stepped through the door, she crumpled over in pain and fell to the floor. He kicked her over to her back. With two more hits to her abdomen he tossed the bat onto the desk. She cried out in pain. After ten minutes she weakly stood up and left the store and limped home holding her stomach. Nova was sitting in the chair holding Fang. He watched as she came into the door and sat down on the bed. She held her abdomen and whimpered in pain.

\t“Willow, what’s wrong?” Nova asked worried.
\t“I’m pregnant. That bastard got me pregnant. I told him and then he hit me in my stomach with a bat a few times.” Willow stated.
\t“He did WHAT?” Nova scowled standing up. He placed Fang in the crib and rushed up to her and then pulled her into a hug. As he did, Willow pushed back and grabbed her stomach and ran to the bathroom. She collapsed to the floor as fluid soaked through her shorts and on to the floor. Nova quickly followed her into the bathroom. Seeing the fluid and blood he quickly removed her clothes. Within seconds she yelped out in pain. Nova stood there in horror, unsure of what to do. After a few moments Willow sat up crying from the pain. She looked down and saw that she had miscarried from being struck.

\t“What do we do Nova?” Willow cried.
\t“Nothing we can do about it. It’s gone. I’ll take care of it.” Nova replied.
\t“I can’t keep working there, Nova. He’ll do it again. So many times a week he has sex with me. Multiple times everyday. Sometimes even five or six times in a day.” Willow cried in Nova’s arms.
\t“I know. But keep working there, I have a plan. I just need some time. I promise you it’ll get better.” Nova replied.
\t“Okay Nova. I’ll try. Let’s not tell Leo about this.” Willow stated as she watched Nova cleaned up the floor. He started the bath and helped Willow into the water. She sat there for the longest. Nova returned nearly 45 minutes later. He walked into the bathroom to see her still sitting in the tub. He sat down on the toilet and took her paw in his. She grimly smiled up at him.
\t“I should get checked out at the hospital. We can tell them that I slipped in the shower.” Willow said.
\t“Okay.” Nova replied. He pulled her up and helped her dry off. He called for a cab and they headed to the hospital. Leo showed up a little later. They explained to Leo that she took a tumble and hurt herself and just wanted to make sure she wasn’t hurt internally. He bought the story.

Saturday September 9, 2006

\tA year later Fang’s third birthday came and gone. Willow, now 16, continued working at the furniture store. He continued getting his service from her.

\tWillow headed towards the store on the Saturday morning with Fang in the stroller. When she arrived she pulled on the door only for it to be locked. She looked at her watch and it showed it was 10:34 AM. “It should be opened by now.” Willow said to herself. She waited around for 45 minutes before she walked to a pay phone and dialed 911. About twenty minutes later a police car pulled up. The officer stepped out and greeted Willow. She explained the situation and the daily schedule of the store. The officer peered through the windows. On the left side of the door he noticed something and called for backup.

\tWithin minutes sirens sounded out in front of the store. The police busted out the glass out of the door and stepped inside. Willow took Fang in her arms and cautiously followed them in. They stepped behind the counter and saw Gil on the ground, the phone receiver in his paw. Willow gasped and jumped backwards. The police quickly checked his vitals and then called for the coroner. Willow used one of the officers cellphone to call Leo and Nova at work. Half an hour later they both showed up at the store, driven by their manager of the recycling plant. They tried to enter but was stopped by the police out front.

\t“Willow’s my sister. Leo is her boyfriend.” Nova stated.
\t“She’ll be out shortly. You can’t enter, I’m sorry.” The officer replied.

\tThey waited for ten minutes for Willow to come outside. A bit later she finally stepped outside and rushed up to Leo. He hugged her, careful not to hurt Fang in her arms. Nova hugged her next. She explained what happened after she arrived. A police officer walked up to the three of them and explained the situation and how it’s going to be handled.

\t“Could we get a ride home please?” Willow asked.
\t“Sure. I’ll have a deputy drive you.” The officer stated.
\t“Thank you,” Willow replied.

\tA short time later they arrived home and thanked the deputy for driving them home.

\tA week later Willow got a phone call from the police. They asked for her to come down to the station. Later in the day, she walked into the front of the station. A detective greeted her and sat her in his office.

\t“Did you know that Gil Tasmin put you in his will?” The detective asked.
\t“Yes. But I have no idea why. I told him it wasn’t necessary. That I didn’t want it.” Willow explained.
\t“Do you know what he left you?” The detective asked.
\t“No. He never said what it was.” Willow replied shaking her head.
\t“This is Mr. Luer he’s a lawyer. He’s going to talk to you in a moment.” The detective stated.
\t“Okay.” Willow replied.
\t“Now then. The autopsy of Mr. Tasmin showed that he died of a massive heart attack.” The detective stated.
\t“Oh wow.” Willow replied.
\t“Yeah. It was painful but it was over in just moments. It’s probably why he had the phone receiver in his paw.” The detective stated.
\t“Okay.” Willow replied.
\t“It’s nice to meet you Willow. I’m Forest Luer. I’m a lawyer that works with the police station to explain legal situations. I’m here about the will of the late Mr. Tasmin.” The lawyer stated.
\t“Okay.” Willow replied.
\t“He left you the entire Gil’s Furniture business. The store, the assets, the bank account everything. In total it’s worth a bit over one million dollars.” The lawyer stated.
\t“WHAT?” Willow exclaimed loudly. Basically a scream. Everyone in the department looked over at her.
\t“You are now the full owner of Gil’s furniture store. You can continue running it or sell it off. It’s your choice. Do you have any questions?” The lawyer stated.

\tAfter a moment of silence Willow stood up and tilted her head, her mouth ajar. With Fang in her arms she turned around and walked out of the office. The detective and lawyer both quickly followed her closely trying to get her to say anything. She stepped outside of the police station and sat down on the curb. She held Fang in her arms hugging him and burst out crying. The detective sat down next to her and placed his arm around her shoulder and pulled her towards him.

\t“That bastard raped me multiple times each day, every week since I was 14. He gave me the job and paid me under the table. He got me pregnant and then hit me with a bat and caused me to miscarry around six months ago.” Willow cried out.
\t“You didn’t file a report for this?” The detective asked.
\t“No. We needed the money. I hated it but I had to. I had to do it to survive and keep Fang healthy and us off the streets.” Willow explained and looked down at Fang and ran her fingers through his hair.
\t“I’m so sorry. It’s all over now though. He can’t hurt you anymore.” The detective stated.
\t“Mr. Luer. I want to sell that business. I want nothing to do with it anymore. Fuck him and his store. I’d burn it down if I could.” Willow replied.
\t“Very well Willow. I’ll get in contact with you soon.” The lawyer stated and returned back inside the station.
\t“Do you want to file a report against him about the sexual abuse?” The detective asked.
\t“No. Doesn’t matter now. He’s dead. A painful death that he deserved.” Willow replied wiping tears from her face.
\t“What happened to the miscarriage fetus?” The detective asked.
\t“I don’t know. My brother took care of it. I don’t want to know either. I also ask you not to bother my brother about it. I don’t want anyone else to know about this. Only my brother and I know about the pregnancy and miscarriage. I guess now you and Mr. Luer now as well. I’d like to keep it that way.” Willow stated.
\t“I understand Willow.” The detective stated. “Would you like a ride back home?” He asked.
\t“Yes please.” Willow replied standing up.

\tWillow got back home and waited for Leo and Nova to get home. She explained what happened at the police station.

\t“I’m selling it. It’s worth a lot and we can get a house for cheap and live better than here. Actually be able to get a car or two to help.” Willow stated.
\t“It’s your choice. If you want to do that, go ahead.” Leo replied.

Saturday December 9, 2006

\tThree months later Willow, Nova and Leo stepped foot into their new house. A 4 bedroom 3 bath two floor house. The furniture store building and all assets sold for one million dollars. In the bank account sat another half a million. Willow opened an account under her name and had all money transferred into her account.

\t“Wow, this house is huge.” Leo stated.
\t“It’s not that big.” Willow replied sarcastically.
\t“It’s a hell of a lot bigger than that motel room.” Nova replied.
\t“I know it is. I was just kidding.” Willow replied with a chuckle.
\t“So, Willow, you have money. What are you going to do with it?” Nova asked.
\t“I might open my own store or something after I turn 18. I know how to run one now.” Willow replied.
\t“Could be good to keep money flowing and not depend on what you got.” Nova stated.
\t“Yeah, I just don’t want to spend money on everything. Save it for the future. Build it up, put it into stocks and go from there.
\t“That’s a good plan sis,” Nova replied.
\t“By the way, how’s your chest doing … Quill?” Leo asked with a laugh.
\t“It’s healing up. I still feel the few quills that are in me at times.” Nova replied. He shivered at the recent memory of the fight with the porcupine.

2007

\tAs the new year came it slowly passed by as Willow was finishing her last year of school at home with the help of Nova. During the summer Leo and Willow got married through the local courthouse. He continued to refuse to claim her. After a couple of months after moving into the new house Leo started drinking and took to it, he was drinking illegally. Fang’s third birthday came and went, with quite a few gifts for him. Fang ran around and would get into a lot of stuff, but overall was a good cub. Willow and Leo had a fling in bed to make up for disputes they had over the past half year, Leo was drunk each time during the arguments. Within weeks her belly showed a bump and the test applicator positive for pregnancy. Willow walked into the living room where Leo and Nova sat watching TV. Fang was sitting on the floor playing with a train set that he got for Christmas just a few weeks back.

\t“Leo. I’m pregnant.” Willow stated with a smile. Both Leo’s and Nova’s ears popped up from her comment.
\t“You can’t be. I don’t need another one. I don’t WANT another one.” Leo scowled.
\t“Sorry, but I am.” Willow stated tossing the pregnancy test in his lap as her smile turned into a frown.
\t“God fucking dammit.” Leo shouted out tossing the beer bottle to the floor shattering it while cursing and yelling even more. Fang looked up and started crying from the loud shouting. Willow picked him up and held him in her arms as he hugged her.
\t“There is no reason to scream Leo. You should have worn a condom like I said. I can’t take the pills, you know that.” Willow scowled.
\t“No it’s your fault for not taking extra precautions.” Leo scowled. He stood up and stumbled outside slamming the door behind him. Nova sat on the couch, looking at Willow, both in shock. After Willow got Fang to calm down and stop crying she handed Fang to Nova then walked outside. Nova sat on the couch and listened as Willow and Leo screamed and yelled at each other over various things. After ten minutes Willow came back with tears flooding down her face. She sat down beside Nova and laid her head on his lap and cried. He sat there rubbing her back and arm and running his fingers through her hair. After quite some time she sat up and took Fang in her arms and hugged him. She continued to hug him for minutes in silence.

\t“Leo just left. He said didn’t want the pup. Told me he’s going to get our marriage annulled as well. Why Nova? Why is he doing this?” Willow said trying not to cry.
\t“I’m so sorry sis.” Nova stated. He picked her up and moved her into his lap where he hugged her for a long time while she continued crying. Fang, confused and unsure what was going on, sat next to and rested his head against Nova and listened to his mom cry.

\tTwo weeks later Willow was called down to the courthouse. Inside, Leo sat waiting for her. Willow handed Fang off to Nova and walked up to Leo. Without saying a word he pointed to the window where she asked what was going on. The judge stated that Leo wanted a divorce, his car and ten thousand dollars and she needed to sign papers if she agreed. Willow turned around without signing and left the building. Willow and Nova with Fang returned to the car. Willow drove down to the bank while explaining to Nova what was going on. At the bank she withdrew the ten thousand dollars and headed back to the courthouse. She signed the papers while tears flowed down her face.

\t“You can come get your car later. The keys will be under the rock. Your clothes will be in the trunk.” Willow said to Leo and tossed the money to him. The money landed in his lap, on the bench and the floor.
\t“You hurt me Leo. I loved you. I loved you with everything I had. You’re not hurting yourself, you are hurting Fang, me and your unborn pup.” Willow stated as tears welled in her eyes. He sat there and shrugged.
\t“You’re a bastard. I should have listened to your parents. I kind of wish I did. But at least I have Fang, who I love very much, unlike you.” Willow scowled loudly.
\t“I loved you too Willow.” Leo replied.
\t“You’re a bastard. I don’t ever want to see you again,” Willow replied and walked towards the door.

\tLeo picked up the hundred, one-hundred dollar bills out of his lap, bench and floor. He walked up and signed the papers and waited for a copy. After a few minutes he took the papers and walked outside. Willow followed him out and watched as he got in to a car with a female Golden Retriever. He smiled at the Golden Retriever and kissed her. Willow turned around and cried in Nova’s arms. After a short time Nova got her into their car and settled her down. He went back inside to get the marriage nullification papers from the judge. After they sat for a few minutes Nova drove them home.

\t“I can’t believe that he was cheating on me.” Willow stated laying on the couch, her head in Nova’s lap.
\t“I can’t either. I didn’t know.” Nova replied.
\t“What am I going to do?” Willow asked.
\t“Just as you have been. You don’t need him sis. You’re a beautiful, smart and strong wolf. You’ll find someone who will love you the right way.” Nova stated.
\t“It hurts though.” Willow replied.
\t“I know it does sis. But you need to be strong for Fang and your unborn pup. I’ll be here for you, you know that.” Nova replied and rubbed her tummy.
\t“Thank you Nova. You’ve always been there for me. The one person that I can always go to.” Willow said.
\t“It’s always been you and me since a young age. With our parents being insane religious nut jobs and everything that’s happened since. We’ll get through this as well.” Nova stated.
\t“Thank you Nova. I love you.” Willow replied, kissing him on his muzzle.
\t“Love you too sis.” Nova replied and kissed her back.

Friday March 5, 2004

\tA month and half passed, Willow laid on the bed pushing out her pup. Nova stood by supporting her. Within minutes her new pup was born. A female this time.

\t“Huh, interesting, her fur looks like pepper.” Nova replied with a laugh.
\t“Pepper huh? I like it.” Willow replied.

\tWillow took the pup in her arms and cleaned her. After minutes of bonding Willow laid her down and put a diaper on her.

\t“Welcome to your new life, Pepper.” Willow replied.

\tAfter Fang woke up from a nap in his bedroom he walked into Willow’s bedroom. He tried climbing up on to the bed. Nova picked him up and sat him on the bed. He crawled up to his mom and saw the pup.

\t“What dat?” Fang asked as he stared at the little pup in mom’s arms.
\t“Your new sister. Her name is Pepper.” Willow replied.
\t“Peppa?” Fang stated.
\t“Close enough for now.” Willow replied with a smile and chuckle.

\tWillow leaned over and kissed Fang who then cuddled up against her body.

\t“I’m going to head out for a bit. You going to be okay? Need anything?” Nova asked.
\t“Yeah, I think we’re good. I’m going to rest here for a bit.” Willow replied.

\tAfter Willow turned 18, she opened a store and worked it daily, and soon hired a few others to help. Nova helped in the store for a few months before he left to find adventure. To show her gratitude for everything, Willow gave him fifty thousand dollars which he used a couple thousand on used sports bike for his adventures. Over the years after Leo left, Willow and Nova became better friends with the neighbors, the Lanke’s. They had a girl cub, Vapor, born the same day as Fang. The two cubs would play in each others yards and houses. The Lanke’s would babysit Fang and likewise Willow would babysit Vapor. When Fang and Vapor was five they were playing doctor before it turned into a very long kiss. Muzzle to muzzle. They were caught by her parents. What did the two young cubs expect, they were kissing in the living room of Vapor’s house. Her parents weren’t mad, but did explain that they were too young to be kissing each other like that.

\t“Oh god that’s so embarrassing” Vapor stated.
\t“I never knew you went through that much. I’m so sorry that you had to deal with all of that.” Fang stated. He stood up and pulled his mom up into a hug.
\t“It was a rough time for us Fang. It’s … It’s why I didn’t want to talk about it. Why I wanted to forget about it.” Willow replied.
\t“Mom.” Fang said and hugged her tighter.
\t“And I thought we had a bad life before Fang and Vapor found us.” Katia said staring at her brother.
\t“That’s just awful mom.” Pepper replied. Shade didn’t really know what to say he just stared at Willow silently.
\t“I understand why you don’t want any of us wearing string bikini panties now.” Katia replied.
\t“Well, one good thing came from that guy.” Willow stated.
\t“What’s that?” Vapor asked.
\t“The million and half dollars that got our life in line and on a good track.” Willow replied.
\t“Is that why you don’t talk about religion. Why you scowl at it?” Fang asked.
\t“Yeah. It was forced on us and then with all of the beatings and everything. It was God this, God that, sin this, sin that, with our parents.” Willow stated growling.
\t“I can’t believe that you and Quill had sex.” Fang replied chuckling.
\t“Yeah we did. It’s not common but it’s not rare either as you know. It’s why I don’t mind it.” Willow said looking at Katia and Tib. Both of them looked at each other and smiled back at their mom.
\t“Mom. Thank you for everything you that did for Pepper and me. And you too Quill.” Fang said hugging her again.
\t“I wouldn’t change any of it, not even the bad.” Willow replied nuzzling Fang’s neck.
\t“That leads to a question. Where are our grandparents at? Your mom and dad, and dad’s parents?” Fang asked.
\t“My parents still live in that trailer park at the edge of town, just off the highway towards the city. Leo’s parents moved when you were eight I think.” Willow explained.
\t“Have you seen them, your mom and dad, since they kicked you and Quill out?” Vapor asked.
\t“Just once. I was almost 20. I was working the store and they walked in. We looked each other but said nothing. They bought a religious item and left without saying a word.” Willow stated. “Fang, you were around six years old running around still in a diaper, well a pullup. I had Pepper, who was 3, in my arm ringing them up.” She added.
\t“It’s a bittersweet story. But I like how it played out for the good.” Vapor stated and pulled Fang into a hug then kissed him for a short moment.
\t“Me too. Now then, can you all stop asking me about my history please? It hurts to remember all of that.” Willow replied and looked over at Quill.
\t“This brings up a question, mom.” Fang said.
\t“Whats that?” Willow replied.
\t“Have you and Quill had sex since that first time?” Fang asked snickering. Both Willow and Quill looked at each other for a few seconds and back at Fang.
\t“No!” Both replied at the same time.
\t“So I… we would have had another brother or sister.” Pepper said quietly looking at the floor.
\t“Yeah.” Willow sighed as a few tears flowed down her face.
\t“I’m sorry for pushing you to tell us your history mom.” Fang said and exhaled melancholically.
\t“It’s fine. It’s a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders. Finally.” Willow replied.
\t“When was the last time you saw dad?” Fang asked.
\t“A couple times in the year after he left. I didn’t speak to him nor did he to me. I know that he moved away after that year. I don’t know where he is now.” Willow explained.
\t“Thank you mom.” Fang replied.
\t“Yeah. I’m. I’m going to my room. I, umm. I need time to think and clear my head. Don’t bother me unless it’s an emergency please. I’ll see you all later.” Willow said as she stood up then walked away.
