ITT stories about going through a rough time

>super depressed after a rough breakup, been laying in my comfy bed for days
>i had no motivation, and i couldn't sleep
>my adoptive fox mom walks in
>she tells me to pack up some clothes
>we're going to go on a vacation to canada to visit her catholic family
>didn't wan't to go but it was really important to her.
>a long ass drive
>she takes a detour to pick up some sonic on the way
>while we were waiting for our order she asked "why are you feeling so down? you never get out of bed"
>said that it was complicated and i didn't wan't to talk about it
>she persisted
>"please anon, i'm very worried about you. i just want you to know that whenever you want to talk, i'm here for you"
>didn't talk much for the rest of the trip

>arrive at canada
>we were visiting my mom's grandparents and my fox cousin-in-law
>cousin was definately a 11/10
>her fur, her tail, her face, all perfect
>she was kinda flirty with me
>didn't care much tbh
>been through love and didn't really gained lot of happieness from it
>ended up sharing a bed with cousin
>bed was shit, though. like laying on pile of rocks 
>couldn't sleep the whole night
>she tried to cuddle with me, but that kept me up more

>i went out of bed to go get some fresh air
>"where are you going anon?"
>"eh, just going to the bathroom"
>"okay, don't go to long, sweetie ;)"
>sat down on the rocking chair in the back porch
>it was cold and dark, but i needed to be alone
> mom came out and sat next to me
>"what's wrong, anon? talk to me"
>i sighed. i knew she wasn't gonna stop pestering me about so i might as well tell her
>used to have a hot 9/10 cat gf for about 4 months
>she was so mean to me and everyone alse
>she was only ever with me for my money
>broke up with me for some rich chick
>really rubbed it in my face, saying i wasn't good enough for her
