Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.", "writing": "“Bye Stockings. Merry Christmas.” The last guest said as they waved goodbye. Stockings waved back with a smile. It wasn’t her actual name, but everyone called her that since she wore them year round.\n\n\n“Did you enjoy the party Annabelle?” Her boyfriend Miles asked as wrapped his arms around her.\n\n\n“I did. It was nice seeing everyone right before Christmas.” She turned around and gave him a kiss. “We should probably be heading to bed soon.” It was Christmas Eve and almost midnight.\n\n\n“Not yet.” He returned the kiss. “I have a gift I want to give you right at midnight.”\n\n\n“Oh? And what did my Miles get me that’s so special?”\n\n\nMiles smiled. “It’s a surprise. Get your boots on. We’re going outside.”\n\n\nAnnabelle did just that. She was giddy at the thought of a special gift from her special someone. She put on her boots and threw on a coat, then walked out into the snow. The house was near the forest and Miles was waiting by the edge. She ran up to him and grabbed him by the arm. “Lead the way.”\n\n\nThe two were arctic foxes and could easily get lost amongst the white of the snow, if not for their clothes. The two walked through the cold dark forest for several minutes, with only the light of the full moon to guide them. They come to an old oak tree covered in snow. A noose dangled from one of the branches with a step stool beneath it. “Here we are.” Miles said.\n\n\nShe let out a gasp and covered her mouth. “I love it. Thank you so much.” Annabelle embraced him in a hug.\n\n\nMiles smiled. “I knew you’d like it. Now take off your clothes.” Annabelle began to strip. She took off everything but her stockings. It was below freezing out, but her thick fur made it bearable. Miles pulled her close. He ran his hands along her exposed body. He went up and down every curve, paying particular attention to her breasts. Her nipples had perked up in the chilly air. He planted one last kiss on her lips.\n\n\nAnnabelle broke the kiss. Looking Miles in the eye she said, “I’m ready.” Miles pulled out some rope from his jacket pocket and tied her arms behind her back. The step stool had two steps on it, and she climbed to the second one. Miles got onto the first step and secured rope around her neck before stepping back down. “This is so exciting,” she says. “I’ve always wanted to try this.”\n\n\nMiles looked at his watch. “Just a few more minutes.” The seconds passed like hours as the two foxes waited in the quiet stillness of the night. An alarm went off as his watch struck midnight, and he pulled the step stool out from under her. She fell a short distance and her body began to struggle. Torso wriggling, legs kicking, mouth agape gasping for air. Miles watched with a smile as his girlfriend dangled helplessly in front of him, the life slowly fading from her. Eventually her struggling stopped. The only movement was the occasional twitch and a slight sway. With the show finally over, Miles walked away. He looked back at her one last time. Her pristine white fur making her invisible against the snowy background.
