Zorch dashes up to the door and rapidly knocks on it. Eventually Flain opens the door. \"Heh, there's only one dude I know that knocks like that, What's up, man?\" \"Nothing... And that's the problem! Let's hang out and do something fun!\" \"Well, I would. But, I was just about to take a vacation with the little dudes. We was gonna book a room in the Frosticons' Inn. Maybe get a view of something pretty in that chill place. Let's just say I'm... Taking small steps to finding good in that place.\" As Flain was talking, Zorch looks over and sees Fraze and Pam Pam with a few things packed up. \"Then let me join in the fun! Me and Lunk gots enough mucks for some relaxation time. Besides I bet your little dudes would love someone as awesome as me being around!\" \"Well, I guess it could be fun to-\" \"Great! I'll grab Lunk. See ya at the inn!\" Zorch dashes off, leaving Flain pretty unamused. \"I sometimes wonder why I try to talk about deep stuff with him... Anyway, Hope you little dudes are ready for a fun time!\" \"Of course we are I packed up my bikini.\" -And my one piece.- \"Right, I hope its not the only thing you two packed I did give a list on what you guys need so better go do that now before I check on you dudes in abit.\" Pam Pam and I both sweat as we rushed to pack properly while Flain chuckles to himself for a second before going serious for a second most like pondering or having some doubts about this trip. but in a cartoonish way his own imagination springs to life to snap his claws to let Flain gain focus which made him jump and shake his head. \"Fine.. Fine..\" With abit of time passing and with Dad having to send us back to pack properly he holds us close to us as he wanted while we made our way over north from the frosticons lair. The hotel was alittle further away from the main lair of the frosticons, I'd assume for privacy or so that guest can sleep in peace. Zorch was already there, holding claws with Lunk. \"Heh, about time you slowpokes got here!\" \"Hiiiii Flain. Helloooo kiddies. hehe~\" \"Sup, dudes. Let's head inside.\" Zorch looks over to Pam Pam, then at the doors. \"I got this.\" He kicks open the doors. Flain was wide eyed in shock. \"DUDE! If you break that you gotta pay for it.\" \"Buuuut It looked cool didn't it?\" Flain rolls his eyes and walks in. Lunk, looking worried, follows from behind. Zorch shrugs. \"Eh, What do they know.\" They walk up to the secretary, behind an ice table. He's a Frosticon Mixel, of average height. His eyes are closed 90% of the time, with his claws together. He gave off a very chill vibe. \"Ah. Welcome to my inn, guests. I'm Slippery, The owner, and care taker for any Mixel that decides to stay here.\" His feet were purely made out of ice, which means he slides around instead of walking. Flain, unfamiliar with this Frosticon, takes a deep breath and speaks. \"Remember... He had nothing to do with it...\" He says to himself. \"Ahem. Sup, dude. We just wanted to crash in this place. You gotta room for 5?\" \"Indeed I do~ I'll escort you to your rooms...\" Slippery stares at Flain, with his still closed eyes. \"After payment, of course.\" Something about that made Flain sweat. \"Y-yeah, dude. No problem.\" Flain, Lunk, and Zorch brings their mucks together, and pays for their room. Slippery's vibe turns back to normal. \"Excellent. Now, let me show you your rooms~\" He skates forward with his iced feet, while the rest of the group follows him. -Wow so cool! I want to skate like that.- \"We haven't seen this mixel before? but also there's plenty that Dad hasn't showed us yet.\" Dad sweats as he followed us from behind most lickly had us up front, most likely that we'd be more safe from been seen there then not from behind. While we were being escorted we saw some of the rooms or areas passing by until something caught my eyes. Making my way up to the window as I left my claw prints and face on the window. \"Wow... The pool..-\" -...-It's so huge! I want in!- \"Me too\" Flain sweats alot even giving off a scared look as he watched us with Lunk since he was the closest moved us away from the window. \"Nooooow now away from the window guyys. Look with your eyeees not your claws.. We don't want to get in trouble.\" *Slippery watched all unfold with his face mostly staying the same until he burst into laughter. \"Got yourself a handful huh?\" Zorch smirks and gets close to the window as well. \"Yeah, man. Gotta get the best sight possible. Hell, I could even dash you over there if you-\" \"Dude!\" \"Whaaat? Do ya really think I'd get your kids in danger?\" \"This is supposed to be relaxing, Zorch. No funny business.\" Lunk taps on Flain's shoulder. \"Give Zorch a chaaaance, Flain. I'd know if he was up to no good.\" \"Yeah! Listen to the slow boy, dude!\" Flain crossed his arms. \"Fine... But I got my eye on you...\" * They eventually reached to where their room is. There was enough space for everyone involved, including 2 separate beds. As they all looked around the room, Slippery bows and takes his leave.* \"Just call if you need anything.\" Zorch looks over to the kids and smirks. \"Alright! Which one of you boys wanna take a ride on the zoom express? Maybe see all of the rooms they have in store here? Anything to let you know that big bro Zorch's got your back!\" \"Y'know, dude. Lunk isn't a pet big bro.\" \"Well he is when we fornica-\" \"Nooo Zorch stop!\" \"Yoo not cool!\" Flain and Lunk rush over to us and cover our ears while the both say something to big bro But I couldn't here it. But It prob wasn't good. \"Zoooorch. They're still kids! No naughty talk!\" \"But, hun. You're so hot and the best slow boy out there!\" Lunk blushes real hard. \"G-gosh. Well...\" Flain snaps his claw to get Lunk's attention. Then goes back to covering Fraze's ears. \"Zorch, you're a cool dude. You really are. But you gotta take things more seriously. Things are not how they used to be. We've got more responsibilities.\" Zorch puts his hands on his hips, and looks genuinely upset. \"Oh yeah. Things definitely has changed, dude! Feels like everything I say and do is just wrong for you now, huh? I remember when we used to be so casual about that stuff. How you were always up for some kind of adventure. Now you're sitting here crying about me being too fast for your kids!\" Flain and Lunk looked at each other. Both with a bit of confusion, and worry. Flain looks back to Zorch. \"Dude, it's not like that. I just-\" \"Nah, man. I get it. You want your kids safe? I support that. You just see me as a threat is all...\" Lunk walks over to Zorch and holds his claw. \"Hun, please. That's not what he meant...\" \"... Nah. You guys don't need a trouble maker like me...\" Zorch's expression was a mix of sadness and anger. He pulls his claw away from Lunk and dashes off somewhere. Flain looks over to where Zorch was standing, and clinches his claw. \"Dammit... Me and my big maw...\" \"U-umm... I'm suuure it'll be okay. Zorch gets like that, sometimes. Heeee just needs time to think. Even someone as quick as him knows the importance of taking a breather... Uhhh I least I think?\" With our ears being covered we weren't able to hear anything that was being convayed but we didn't need to hear when looks said all. It was clear how serious things gotten from just seeing Zorch's expression change from happy and confident to more sad and hurt. Not sure why but I felt it too. Somehow. -Make a distraction I'll go find him.- \"But we could get in alot of trouble.\" -Fraze. If there's anyone who could maybe help it's us. We look up to him. He wants us to be happy. And so do we ya?- \"Yes.. Your right.. But I'm not good at being an-\" -Yoo is thatt Flurr at the window!?- Pam Pam interupting me almost giving me a heart attack but noticing that Flain and Lunk were both looking at the window this was an quick window of oppurintunty to react only 5 no 4 seconds. I sprint to action running up to the window and look out acting like as if I planned on opening the window. Which was enough of a reaction to make Flain and Lunk panic rushing over to try and stop me or well flain more like as Lunk tried his best to run up to me. \"Huh.. It worked.\" I said queitly to myself while I saw that Pam Pam already slipped out the room. .. ... It cuts over to Pam Pam looking around neriously. As brave as he may act in the end of the day it still is indeed a act and he is just a child one that is wandering all alone in such a big place. -If I were Zorch where would I go too?- Slippery looks over and sees Pam Pam \"Oh? How curious. The little one is away from the others.\" -Hey, skate guy! Have you seen big b- Err, Zorch come by?- \"You mean that red blur not too long ago? Of course I did~ I pay attention to more than you expect.\" -But, your eyes never open. How does that work?- \"W-well that's... Ahem, so you're looking for your friend, right? I would suggest the great lake. It's the place you all saw through the window earlier. It's said that it'll be the perfect place to ease your mind of your troubles. Creatures of all kinds are drawn to that place. Perhaps you'll be surprised by who you might see in- -Okay, yeah. Big lake place, got it!- Pam Pam walks to the door, but stops right as he was about to leave. Slippery slides up next to him. \"I sense that you're scared.\" -I'm not scared! I can't be scared! Every second wasted makes finding Zorch harder.- He steps outside and walks in a direction. Slippery slides up and picks Pam Pam up. \"How about I take you there with me? I could use a break~\" Pam Pam crosses his arms and pouts. -I guess you can...- Slippery smiles and skates towards the great lake with Pam Pam in his arms. As the two made their over to the lake Pam thought about how did he kno about the window incident? Or that if Flain is looking out the window right now he would totally see us no doubt. -I'm so toast. .. I hope Fraze is doing his best.- Pam Pam says to himself quietly before looking over to Slippery. - I do apper.. . apper..- \"Appreciate?\" -ye.. ya! that for helpin me but if I may ask why?- Slippery’s smile grows more stern as he looked away, not really saying until he gazed down to Pam's scared look to reassure Pam Pam as he broke away from whatever thought he may have had going back to smiling down at him. \"Don't worry little buddy I just don't want to see a family fall apart.\" I'm sure there's more on his mind but I shouldn't pry on it. Pam thought to himself. The duo made their way onto to the lake but much further in search of Zorch. Just as they got there, a red blur ran right past them. -Oh! That was Zorch! Hey! Big bro! Come back!- The duo watch Zorch run in a big circle around the great lake, running right past them over and over. \"This something your friend does a lot?\" -Uh, sorta? I think he calls it stress running? Haven't seen him run around in a circle like this though...- \"Perhaps it's part of the effect of the great lake. You'll subconsciously feel a need to be around here if you feel stressed in some way. Thus, why we call this lake the great lake.\" -I mean, I do feel drawn to it... Like I... I belong there.- There was a moment of Pam Pam just staring at the lake. Slippery shrugs. \"I don't know about that. I just know it eases the mind. Anyway, I got a way to stop your friend.\" Slippery steps his foot forward and creates some ice on the ground. Zorch runs right on top of it and starts sliding on his butt. With his legs spread out, he crashes into a popsicle tree, hitting right between his legs. \"Yowwouch! Nhhh...\" Zorch covers his crotch and whimpers. \"C-come on man! That really could've killed me!\" Pam Pam gave Slippery the most angry look a kid could give. Slippery wasn't faced by it. \"Well I never said it was a SAFE way to stop him.\" Pam Pam runs up to Zorch, still whimpering from the pain. -Big bro! I was- Uhh, Fraze was worried when you just ran off like that. Is something wrong?- Zorch sits on his butt, looking at Pam Pam. \"I just don't think your Dad likes me anymore...\" -Well, I think you're cool! You've always been cool to me!- \"I don't know, man... I just don't know what to think at the moment.\" Slippery raises one foot to draw attention to him. \"Perhaps rinsing yourself in the lake will help with your thoughts? Ahem, for the right price, ahem\" Zorch squints his eyes. \"What was that last part?\" \"O-oh nothing, nothing~\" -Didn't you tell me you was on break?- Slippery starts to sweat, if his eyes were open they would be looking away. \"Oh I DID say that didn't I? Haha! Well don't worry about it. Just a small joke is all. Please, I urge you to try the lake.\" -Wait haven't we.. Been here before?.. What's up with this lake?- \"Well yknow man I think I could use the dip.\" Slippery goes back to holding Pam just in case if the ice were to break for whatever reason even though it should be quite safe but even still as a safety precaution. The further in we went there was an area that wasn't frozen and pefect for taking swim... If you can handle below freezeing tempatures. \"Dude wait I just realised something, Wouldn't I die from stepping foot into this?\" \"Actually about that if you take a better look at this part of the great lake. you notice the lake looks clear green but glows blue. The reason for it is from the crystals that grew underneath in the past a long time ago. There far to deep down for us to reach them unfortunately. Anyway the lake tempture somehow only in this area though can adapt to what is suitable for keeping you alive. Go ahead and try.\" Zorch steps in the lake full of excitement. \"Yo! He's right! come in Pam! I bet the temp would be different for you because your a kid.\" Zorch raises his arms out as Pam is let in the lake now into Zorch's arms before Slippery too steps into the lake as well. When looking up something caught Pam Pam's eye to the point he couldn't look away. -Aye guys do whose that mixel up there?\" Zorch and Slippery both look behind seeing nothing and were more confused. -But there was.. some.. mixel that didn't look boyish..- Pam Pam only made the group more confused. Zorch shrugs. \"Maybe you were just hallucinating?\" Slippery nods. \"Yes, yes. Hallucinations are... Wait, no. Those never happen. Yeah, that's pretty weird.\" \"Man. And here I thought you knew everything about this place.\" \"Oh please. I don't know everything. Just like how I don't know why a Nixel is here.\" Pam Pam and Zorch jump up and franticly look around. \"D-dude! Don't freak us out like that. When there's 1, there's actually 100.\" \"Sigh Maybe if you actually looked you can see him\" Slippery reaches out his claw from the side, and picks up a random Nixel. Zorch looks at the Nixel in anticipation. \"Well? What are you wanting for? Freeze him! Or actually, smash his nuts!\" Slippery places the Nixel next to him, floating in water. \"Just think for a moment. Why would a single Nixel be at such a sacred place?\" \"I dunno. Trying to steal somethin?\" Slippery looks at the Nixel, then back at Zorch. \"Well, seeing as he's not trying to bite my legs off, I don't see any reason to attack him. Besides, the main point of this is to make you feel better.\" Zorch rolls his eyes. \"Oh, jeez. Why are you trying to be a therapist?\" \"As I said earlier. I am the caretaker of any Mixel that stays in my inn. So it's my duty to help.\" *Pam seeing the nixel gave him a rush of emotions from one point being held at the mercy of these very nixels. It made him extremely uncomfortable that he either wanted the nixel destroyed or to be out of lake regardless he didn't want to wait too long on that decision. But besides the nixel that made Pam anxious, this area gave off a very strange peaceful like aura. But just still that nixel.. .. \"I can see your anixous little one. but do not fret. Not everything is out to get you, think of tiny critters that crawl in the night, some look scary and are mostly harmless. Ya you could just kill them but put yourself in their shoes or well feet you wouldn't like it if someone attacked you for no reason an-\" -No you're wrong. I could have died from these very nixels. Every nixel we come across cause harm or tries to do worse. I have every reason to hate these guys.- \"You say that but this one in particular isn't doing a thing no? You see Pam, Zorch true courage is about knowing not when to take a life but when to spare one\" Zorch stares at the Nixel. \"Don't see how that's relevant to my problems, man. I'm not trying to kill the dude.\" \"No, Zorch. It is quite relevant. By learning to spare, you learn restraint. And with restraint, you stop yourself from doing things that's harmful for you. Which leads me to believe that...\" Slippery very slightly opens one eye, and looks at Zorch. \"You ran away, because you didn't know how to restrain yourself. Am I right?\" There was a bit of silence. Zorch looks down in the water, staring right at his reflection. \"Yeah, I'll admit. I don't like the way I act. I mean, I just wanted to have fun! Like the good ol' times! But, even back then I could be a bit much. I wanna be better for him, and his kids too. I just blurt out the first thing that's on my mind, I can't help it...\" Slippery closes his eyes and smiles. \"I'm sure other Mixels can see the good in you. Just like how we can see the good in this Nixel.\" Everyone was looking where Slippery was pointing. But there was no Nixel. Slippery sweats, but still keeps a smile. \"Ah. Perhaps he had to take a bathroom break. Even those little creatures has to go every once in a while.\" Just as he said that, a large shadow covers from above. They all look up to see a wave of Nixels, ready to crash land onto them. Everyone had a shocked expression. Except for Slippery, who looked calm on the outside. \"Oh, that's... Not pleasant.\" Zorch springs to action, rounding everyone up and dashing out of harms way. The wave of Nixels followed. \"Nix, nix, nix, nix!\" Zorch tried to keep up the pace, but he was already panting. \"D-dudes. I can't keep up the speed while carrying both of ya!\" The Nixel wave was catching up. Slippery looked toward the wave, then down to his feet. \"Then just carry Pam! I can survive.\" Slippery hops off, letting his feet skate him pretty fast. \"You get Pam to a safe spot. I'll keep this ungrateful crowd busy.\" Slippery skates into a different direction, leading the wave away from Zorch, and Pam Pam. Zorch takes this opportunity to run back into the inn. It cuts back to the room Fraze was in. Flain had just finish scolding his son. \"And that's why climbing up windows is dangerous, little dude. Same goes for you, Pam Pam... Wait... Where's Pam Pam? Fraze! Where's Pam Pam?\" \"Uh bathroom break prob-. prob..\" \"Probably?\" \"Ya.. that. \" twiddling my thtumbs I look at the ground very anxiously I hope Pam Pam and Zorch get by sometime soon. Somehow on queue or by funning coincedence the door was slammed open by Zorch kicking at it. \"Dude! I SAID DON-\" \"No time for that! do you guys have a spare cubit hurry it's urgent!\" Flain and Lunk both look at each other confused then looked back to Zorch not saying word. \"I'm not being a dumb dumb this is serious swarm of Nixels outside and to protect Pam and me Slippery led them away! I.. I CAN SAVE HIM! But I can't do this alone-\" \"I havvve a cubitt Hun.\" Flain or well dad very good at adapting on the spot to any situation takes advantage of what was layed out right in front of him. \"K, Zorch lead the way I'll cover you. Lunk you stay here to watch the kids. Nothing against you or anything but we need some to think fast on their feet for such a situation.\" Zorch looks at Flain then looks at Lunk. \"Give my hun a chance Flain if you never allow him to fight against a hoard of nixels ever then how could he get better at it or even if he got overwhelmed while trying to proteect your kids then what man? Besides the cubit won't work with you or me bc it has ablue and red colour palatee sooo cool your jets and trust in us Flain. We wan-\" \"Time is limited dude.\" \"OH! RIght!\" *Zorch picks up Lunk then begins to speed away while Lunk screamed away. \" \"Yooooo Besides there your kidsssss you gottta be there as a fatherrrrrr.\" It cuts back to Slippery. He skates as fast as he can. Dodging Nixels that jump out of the wave. He hides behind a huge lump of snow. The wave walks by, giving him a chance to catch his breath. But, the wave breaks through the snow, launching Slippery to the ground. He looks up at the Nixel wave creeping closer to him. \"Nix, nix, nix, nix!\" \"Ah... Looks like I can't buy anymore time...\" \"Nah, you gave just enough.\" The wave turns around and sees Zorch and Lunk. Standing together, and holding hands. \"Let's mix it to fix it, hun.\" \"Yaaaay~ I looooove it when we do it togetherrrrr~\" They look into each others eyes. and brings up the cubit they're holding together. {Visually shows Zorch and Lunk hugging each other. Then two halves of a valentines heart captures them together. The heart beats faster and faster until it explodes.} \"MIX!\" The wave of Nixels charge at the mixed duo. They playfully yawn as the wave gets closer and closer. Then the mix runs circles around the whole stack of Nixels. It made the wave of Nixels turn into a snowball of Nixels. The mix rolls the big snow ball, catching any Nixel that narrowly escaped back into the ball. Then they throw the snowball up and kick it way out into the sky. Zorch and Lunk unmix While Slippery watched in awe, but still with his eyes closed. \"Well, uh... T-thank you, you two.\" Zorch smirks. \"Heh, it's no problem, dude. It's the least I can do after you helped me out of my slump.\" Slippery stands up and wipes snow off of him. \"Ah, so my words meant something to you? Excellent.\" \"Eh, yeah and nah. It was funny to see your one example of trust slap you in the nuts, heheheh!\" Slippery looked pretty annoyed, but it was all in good fun. Lunk walked over to Slippery and shook his claw. \"Sounds like yooooou helped Zorch. Thaaank you, skate man.\" \"Ahem, It's Slippery.\" \"Yeaaaah things slip out of my mind too.\" Zorch couldn't help but burst out laughing. While Slippery sighs. They all head back to the inn. Zorch was looking at Flain from a distance. Zorch takes a deep breath and walks up to Flain. \"H-hey dude...\" Flain looks over to Zorch. \"Hmm... Lunk take care of the kids for a sec. We gotta handle this like true dudes do.\" Lunk nods and takes the kids with him. Flain and Zorch were staring right at each other. Tension rising. It starts outside of Flain's house. Zorch dashes up to the door and rapidly knocks on it. Eventually Flain opens the door. "Heh, there's only one dude I know that knocks like that, What's up, man?" "Nothing... And that's the problem! Let's hang out and do something fun!" "Well, I would. But, I was just about to take a vacation with the little dudes. We was gonna book a room in the Frosticons' Inn. Maybe get a view of something pretty in that chill place. Let's just say I'm... Taking small steps to finding good in that place." As Flain was talking, Zorch looks over and sees Fraze and Pam Pam with a few things packed up. "Then let me join in the fun! Me and Lunk gots enough mucks for some relaxation time. Besides I bet your little dudes would love someone as awesome as me being around!" "Well, I guess it could be fun to-" "Great! I'll grab Lunk. See ya at the inn!" His eyes are closed 90% of the time, with his claws together. He gave off a very chill vibe. "Ah. Welcome to my inn, guests. I'm Slippery, The owner, and care taker for any Mixel that decides to stay here." His feet were purely made out of ice, which means he slides around instead of walking. Flain, unfamiliar with this Frosticon, takes a deep breath and speaks. "Remember... He had nothing to do with it..." He says to himself. "Ahem. Sup, dude. We just wanted to crash in this place. You gotta room for 5?" "Indeed I do~ I'll escort you to your rooms..." Slippery stares at Flain, with his still closed eyes. "After payment, of course." Something about that made Flain sweat. "Y-yeah, dude. No problem." Flain, Lunk, and Zorch brings their mucks together, and pays for their room. Slippery's vibe turns back to normal. "Excellent. With our ears being covered we weren't able to hear anything that was being convayed but we didn't need to hear when looks said all. It was clear how serious things gotten from just seeing Zorch's expression change from happy and confident to more sad and hurt. Not sure why but I felt it too. Slippery steps his foot forward and creates some ice on the ground. Zorch runs right on top of it and starts sliding on his butt. The further in we went there was an area that wasn't frozen and pefect for taking swim... If you can handle below freezeing tempatures. "Dude wait I just realised something, Wouldn't I die from stepping foot into this?" "Actually about that if you take a better look at this part of the great lake. you notice the lake looks clear green but glows blue. The reason for it is from the crystals that grew underneath in the past a long time ago. There far to deep down for us to reach them unfortunately. Anyway the lake tempture somehow only in this area though can adapt to what is suitable for keeping you alive. Go ahead and try." Zorch steps in the lake full of excitement. "Yo! He's right! come in Pam! I bet the temp would be different for you because your a kid." Zorch raises his arms out as Pam is let in the lake now into Zorch's arms before Slippery too steps into the lake as well. When looking up something caught Pam Pam's eye to the point he couldn't look away. -Aye guys do whose that mixel up there?" Zorch and Slippery both look behind seeing nothing and were more confused. -But there was.. some.. mixel that didn't look boyish..- Pam Pam only made the group more confused. Zorch shrugs. "Maybe you were just hallucinating?" Slippery nods. "Yes, yes. Hallucinations are... Wait, no. Those never happen. Yeah, that's pretty weird." "Man. And here I thought you knew everything about this place." "Oh please. I don't know everything. Just like how I don't know why a Nixel is here." Pam Pam and Zorch jump up and franticly look around. "D-dude! Don't freak us out like that. When there's 1, there's actually 100." "Sigh Maybe if you actually looked you can see him" Slippery reaches out his claw from the side, and picks up a random Nixel. Zorch looks at the Nixel in anticipation. "Well? What are you wanting for? Freeze him! Or actually, smash his nuts!" Slippery places the Nixel next to him, floating in water. "Just think for a moment. Why would a single Nixel be at such a sacred place?" "I dunno. Trying to steal somethin?" Slippery looks at the Nixel, then back at Zorch. "Well, seeing as he's not trying to bite my legs off, I don't see any reason to attack him. Besides, the main point of this is to make you feel better." Zorch rolls his eyes. "Oh, jeez. Why are you trying to be a therapist?" "As I said earlier. I am the caretaker of any Mixel that stays in my inn. So it's my duty to help." *Pam seeing the nixel gave him a rush of emotions from one point being held at the mercy of these very nixels. It made him extremely uncomfortable that he either wanted the nixel destroyed or to be out of lake regardless he didn't want to wait too long on that decision. But besides the nixel that made Pam anxious, this area gave off a very strange peaceful like aura. But just still that nixel.. .. "I can see your anixous little one. but do not fret. Not everything is out to get you, think of tiny critters that crawl in the night, some look scary and are mostly harmless. Ya you could just kill them but put yourself in their shoes or well feet you wouldn't like it if someone attacked you for no reason an-" -No you're wrong. I could have died from these very nixels. Every nixel we come across cause harm or tries to do worse. I have every reason to hate these guys.- "You say that but this one in particular isn't doing a thing no? You see Pam, Zorch true courage is about knowing not when to take a life but when to spare one" Zorch stares at the Nixel. "Don't see how that's relevant to my problems, man. I'm not trying to kill the dude." "No, Zorch. It is quite relevant. By learning to spare, you learn restraint. And with restraint, you stop yourself from doing things that's harmful for you. Which leads me to believe that..." Slippery very slightly opens one eye, and looks at Zorch. "You ran away, because you didn't know how to restrain yourself. Am I right?" There was a bit of silence. Zorch looks down in the water, staring right at his reflection. "Yeah, I'll admit. I don't like the way I act. I mean, I just wanted to have fun! Like the good ol' times! But, even back then I could be a bit much. I wanna be better for him, and his kids too. I just blurt out the first thing that's on my mind, I can't help it..." Slippery closes his eyes and smiles. "I'm sure other Mixels can see the good in you. Just like how we can see the good in this Nixel." Everyone was looking where Slippery was pointing. But there was no Nixel. Slippery sweats, but still keeps a smile. "Ah. Perhaps he had to take a bathroom break. Even those little creatures has to go every once in a while." Just as he said that, a large shadow covers from above. They all look up to see a wave of Nixels, ready to crash land onto them. Everyone had a shocked expression. Except for Slippery, who looked calm on the outside. "Oh, that's... Not pleasant." Zorch springs to action, rounding everyone up and dashing out of harms way. The wave of Nixels followed. "Nix, nix, nix, nix!" Zorch tried to keep up the pace, but he was already panting. "D-dudes. I can't keep up the speed while carrying both of ya!" The Nixel wave was catching up. Slippery looked toward the wave, then down to his feet. "Then just carry Pam! I can survive." Slippery hops off, letting his feet skate him pretty fast. "You get Pam to a safe spot. I'll keep this ungrateful crowd busy." Slippery skates into a different direction, leading the wave away from Zorch, and Pam Pam. Zorch takes this opportunity to run back into the inn. It cuts back to the room Fraze was in. Flain had just finish scolding his son. "And that's why climbing up windows is dangerous, little dude. Same goes for you, Pam Pam... Wait... Where's Pam Pam? He skates as fast as he can. Dodging Nixels that jump out of the wave. He hides behind a huge lump of snow. The wave walks by, giving him a chance to catch his breath. But, the wave breaks through the snow, launching Slippery to the ground. He looks up at the Nixel wave creeping closer to him. "Nix, nix, nix, nix!" "Ah... Looks like I can't buy anymore time..." "Nah, you gave just enough." The wave turns around and sees Zorch and Lunk. Standing together, and holding hands. "Let's mix it to fix it, hun." "Yaaaay~ I looooove it when we do it togetherrrrr~" They look into each others eyes. and brings up the cubit they're holding together. {Visually shows Zorch and Lunk hugging each other. Then two halves of a valentines heart captures them together. The heart beats faster and faster until it explodes.} "MIX!" The wave of Nixels charge at the mixed duo. They playfully yawn as the wave gets closer and closer. Then the mix runs circles around the whole stack of Nixels. It made the wave of Nixels turn into a snowball of Nixels. The mix rolls the big snow ball, catching any Nixel that narrowly escaped back into the ball. Then they throw the snowball up and kick it way out into the sky. Zorch and Lunk unmix While Slippery watched in awe, but still with his eyes closed. "Well, uh... T-thank you, you two." Zorch smirks. "Heh, it's no problem, dude. It's the least I can do after you helped me out of my slump." Slippery stands up and wipes snow off of him. "Ah, so my words meant something to you? Excellent." "Eh, yeah and nah. It was funny to see your one example of trust slap you in the nuts, heheheh!" Slippery looked pretty annoyed, but it was all in good fun. Lunk walked over to Slippery and shook his claw. "Sounds like yooooou helped Zorch. Thaaank you, skate man." "Ahem, It's Slippery." "Yeaaaah things slip out of my mind too." Zorch couldn't help but burst out laughing. While Slippery sighs. They all head back to the inn. Zorch was looking at Flain from a distance. Zorch takes a deep breath and walks up to Flain. "H-hey dude..." Flain looks over to Zorch. "Hmm... Lunk take care of the kids for a sec. We gotta handle this like true dudes do." Lunk nods and takes the kids with him. Flain and Zorch were staring right at each other. Tension rising.
