The shock of his loss lingers… I still expect to see his newest submission, or read his latest comment. I miss his wit and charm and intelligence and warmth. And I would say I miss his spirit, except that whenever I see or read a post on the art-sites that strives to be open-minded, or that seeks the best in something, I feel like I am in the aura of Gene's spirit. It's out there, and whenever I detect it, I try to let some of it shine on me (and I sure can use it, too).\nFor all of us who have to soldier on, I wish us luck.
