Their girl friends, Sandra, Roxanne and Avia, were not riding with them at the time of the crash.\nThey were racing Danny Otter's Studebaker Goldenhawk on the night before Christmas Eve of 1960. Riding with Danny were his girl friend, Lidia Otter, and a teenage beaver couple, Carl and Susan.
