During that 1995 flare up in Angola's civil war, Sanchez Genet and a mongoose cub may not have gotten their picture 'on the cover of the Rollin' Stones', but they did get their picture on the cover of National Geographic.
The month this issue came out was also the same month the Meerkat Family lost Jorad.
Meanwhile, far far away in the doctor's lounge at the hospital in Salem India:
Dr. Zander Rat's circumcision fetish got so bad during the early part of 1995, he would browse through the National Geographic magazines that were in the doctor's lounge and look for the photos in articles about news and events happening in 3rd world countries. Then Zander would gaze at the male cubs in those photos and fantasize about circumcising them.
Around the end of May of that year, Dr. Tavi Mongoose caught Dr. Rat gazing at photos of the male cubs in some National Geographic photos, then told Zander, "I bet you WOULD like to get your paws on those cubs in those photos, wouldn't you...You're really a sick one, Zander".
Zander just gave a short, "Uh".
Dr. Rat didn't have much to say...after all...Dr. Rat WAS lusting in fantasy to circumcise those 3rd world male cubs who's photos were in those magazines, and Dr. Rat figured that Dr. Mongoose knew it.
By the month of July, the other doctors were really getting disgusted over Dr. Zander Rat sitting in the lounge and gazing at the photos in the National Geographics...They knew why Zander was gazing at those photos.

There were a few times Dr. Rat would gaze at one particular, cute, little, mongoose cub on the front cover, and wish to himself so badly he could "cut the sheath off of his little mongoosie pee-wee-do".
That July 1995 issue was the last National Geographic magazine to come into the doctor's lounge...Dr. Tavi Mongoose convinced the hospital admin to remove them...And Dr. Zander Rat lusting about wanting to circumcise that little mongoose cub on the cover especially offended Dr. Tavi Mongoose, Tavi himself also being a mongoose.
A few days later, on Dr. Rat's next emergency room shift, Dr. Rat looked around on the tables in the lounge, then asked, "Heeeyyyy, where did all the N Gs go to?".
Dr. Clyde Wolf answered Dr. Rat's question, "YOU'RE the reason they've been taken out-a here, dumb ass".
Dr. Rat just stood there, looking stupid, and uttered, "Uhhhhh".
About a year later (early 1996), Dr. Zander Rat thought of the idea of stopping in at the comic book store whenever he got off of emergency room shift. It was near the ice cream parlor only a block or so from the hospital. Dr. Rat figured he could look at all the National Geographic magazines he wanted to there...Took long enough for the slow mind of Zander Rat to think up THAT one.

"And they might have that one from last year showing that mongoosie cub I wish I could circumcise", Zander muttered out loud to himself.
However, that idea didn't pan out for more than a few weeks. It wasn't long before the wolf who owned the store became annoyed with Zander always coming in to look through the National Geographics and not purchasing anything. And it wasn't long before the day came when Zander was gazing at a photo of a male kinkajou cub in an article about South American drug cartel wars.
Zander stared at the photo and audibly mumbled, "I remember from med-school a kinkajou's pee-wee-do is like a raccoon's pee-wee-do...Boy, I'd surrrrre like to circumcise a kinkajou cub's pee-wee-do".
Then Zander's shortly circumcised penis started raising up hard right there in the comic book store.

On the way out, walking down one of the isles, the wolf repeatedly pushed Zander from behind to make him walk faster...as Zander's penis quickly went back down flaccid again.
After Zander walked out of the front door of the comic book store, and began walking down the sidewalk on his way back to the hospital, the wolf called out to Zander, "AND DON'T COME BACK IN HERE AGAIN! IF YOU DO, I'LL CALL THE POLICE ON YOU!".
Dr. Zander Iscelberg Rat was never allowed back into the comic book store ever since.
