Sometimes I wonder

	Walking in to the building, I cant help but wonder why im even here.
This is third school in 4 months. Looking around I see the usual group of 
students rushing around and thankfully here they seem to be ignoreing me. 

	Thinking to myself "Mabey this won't be so bad-" my thoughts are interupted
by what could be wrost thing I could run in to, a pack of wolves. I guess
should explian why. Im nathen, a hybird, or as most would say a mongrul. Im
a small wolf mouse mix, mostly mouse to most who see me from a distance. That is untill they get
close and see my ears and tail.


	Anyway, back to the story, the typical pack alpha walks up and I can already 
see how this going to end. "Hey look the new guys a runt" the leader of group, 
obviusly the bulling type, makes a stupid atempt to make himself look scary.
"I don't feeling like dealing your kind today, how bout you just go around saying 
you did whatever it is you were going to do and give me some peace" I figuered 
this ploy was going to fail anyway, but I did promise dad I would at least 
try to avoid getting kicked out agine.

	The lower ranking members didn't help either as they keep egging there
leader on. "You going to let some runt half bread talk to you like that boss?"
The larger moved foward and I already how this goin to end "No, runts need to
know there place" He swings I duck down and get ready to bring him and his 
lackys down. The fist flys over me and I start to go into the Tyrant Rave.
Im about to land it and knock this guy clear across the building when a familar
and unwelcome voice rains over head.

	The group backs off and I back flip away from them. "What the hell
are you doing here?" my twin sister Noel. The leader respones first "You know
this jerk ?" I decide intergect at this point "I thought dad wasn't goin to send 
us to the same school anymore. At least after the last time." Noel says "Well what did you expect,
you are running out of schools that will take you." Iratated by the current state of things,
I simply say "Fine, I'll make you a deal, keep your "friends" off my case and stay 
out of my way, in return, I will keep a low profile so you won,t catch grife,
deal?" I pause waiting for an answer "Fine, sounds fair." I walk off knowing 
that wont last long, but today should be ok.

 	"Sorry about that Jack, he wasnt always like this." The leader Jack,
looked confused at this point "Why you apologzing Noel?" She shock her head,
"Think about it we are twins, and had he landed that technique we would not be able 
to have this talk." At this point it dawned on him what she meant. "So he can
fight like you?" Walking up to him she answer "Yes, he has been kicked out of 
sevral schools already"

	I meanwhile, by some miracle, make it to the end of the day without
further incedent. Well other than usual nonsense of haveing to be stood up 
infront of the class and for all intsenive pourpses marking you as target for
for the established cliques.
	
	While grabing my stuff from my locker, I hear another vocie behind me.
Out of pure habbit I swing around and try to knock the daylights out of who
ever is behind me. To my suprise The taller fox catches my fist and smiles.
"Noel was right, you have changed man." Being to iratated to reconize him I
simple state "What part of, leave me alone dose my sister not understand?"
What suprisises me next is the expresion on his face, he looked hurt. "You
really dont rember me?"

	"Kain?" Is all can say at this point, the rough exterior I
have been using for a long time now faltuers. "Man, im sorry, I thought 
I told Noel to tell you I was at this school." I dont say anything and as always he 
seems to read me like a book "You two still aren't good terms are you?" 
Relaxing a bit I answer "No, we disowned eachother after the huge fight 2 schools
back." The look he gives me makes me feel bad about it for a bit.
"You can't hold that aginst her forever, I can forgive, why can't you?"

	"She betryed us, I can't forgive that. I was happy there, had friends,
wasnt hassled about being a hybrid. Now I cant even stay in a school...."
Kain in his gentle maner interjected at this point. " Ok, you have a point
about that, but what about the other incedents?" I want to object, but deep down
I know he is right, "They had it comming" my voice wavering now. "I thought as
much, but think of this way, I can be here for you now" I drop my cold extiror
as he said this, rembering all the good times, "That dose make things seem
better." 

	"I know this a touchy subject, but she is your family" I am unconvinced
by his reasoning. I turn and look at him "Blood dosen't equal family,
garanty love, or make every wrong magicaly go away." Kain looks a bit worried now, 
this wasnt the furrson he rembered, he did how ever drop the subject
for the time deing. Deciding a more private place would make more sense
for his concerns and questions. "You doing anything after school?"
I shurg "Not really, just need stop my place." Kain chuckles a bit
"Your dad acually keeping you under control?" I knida laugh "Not really,
I think he will be pleased with how today went tho, last school did not go
well. Why do you ask?" Kain smiled "I was wondering if you would like to come to
my place tonight, it's friday so we could have the whole weekend to catch up."
Thinking for a bit I nod in agreement "That really sounds like a good idea.
I can finaly relax abit"

	The walk back to my place was quick. We went in to find my dad waiting.
He didn't quite look upset nor did he look all that happy, seeing Kian did complicat
thing things abit to. "Hi dad" I try to act normal, not knowing whats going on.
"Your sister called, said you picked a fight with a group of her friends." Kain interjected
himslef here "He didnt do that, they where giving him grife." Dad looked
somewhat convinced. "Well, I guess since the school did not call today. I can call that
good news" He glanced at Kain agine, not in very welcoming manor.

	I caught this as well as Kain. "Get over it dad, you said you wanted me at school
to make friends in the first place." Dad was still not to thrilled, but did pick up
on smothing that helped the situation. I didnt notice to begine with, but tyhe cold and
emotionless exterior that I had been using had softened a bit. "You are right," he paused thinking about
all that happened recently. Mostly change in my personalty, I ues to be a bright
eyed haapy go lucky kind of guy. Then there were sevral events that caused grife for everyone,
even splintering the family. He decided to try and start from scratch, worrying about the growing
rift between us.

	At this point he looks at Kain then at me "You could try to get along with your sister, your twins after all."
"I can only promise to have nothing to do with her, if I had any say at all in the matter I would be an only
child." Both dad and kain were a bit taken a back. Kain spoke first "Thats harsh."
Dad was suprised by that response, he expected Kain to just jump in and deffend my postion.
At this point I just went to my room to dich my school stuff.

	Kain went to follow but my dad asked him somthing. "Do you think he is still capable of
anything other than resintment?""Kains voice was quite but kind "I think so, but he needs time.
furrsons handle things diffrently, and we were all hit hard. I think the best thing to do is 
to just let him work it out for himself till he wants help dealing with it. It dosent show,
but deep down theres alot of depriesion and saddness." He looked at Kain this time impressed 
and more aproving "Your right." 

	Kain took the opertunity to ask a question "Would you mind if Nate spent
the weekend with me?"Dad look at him thoughfully "You really do care about him dont you."
"Yes, alot" Kain answered without any hesatation. "Ok, I dout me saying no would stop him anyway."
Kain looked at him "He is not rebelling, he is just missrable. I know you see it. 
Before anything eles can be said I walk back down stairs.

	I toss my backpack over my shoulder. "Im ready Kain." I walk out the door to find Noel standing there wating for me.
"What do you want?" I say in very cold voice. "You can not hold this grudge forever." At this point im really losing
my paticents. "Leave me alone, we are NOT family anymore." She shakes her head,
"Not family?  We are twins, how can we not be." I put my pact down and hold my arm out, a flaiming sowrd 
appears in my clenched fist."Leave now, I have nothing to talk to YOU about.

	I force my weapon forward a sizable stream of flames flys in her deriction. "Gun Fang"
She jumps out of the looking surprised and a bit hurt, she really wnated to try and apoligze.
"Your right, Sol, your not my brother. Your just a weapon now." Kain and dad walk out and see what is 
transpairing."Your right, and its your fault." Kain walks up to me now "Lets just go" he looks me in the eyes, and I
quickly give in. "Ok" the blade disapers from sight and we depart, leaving dad and Noel almost speachless.
Noel aske quitly "How dose Kain do that?"Dad responds "Im just suprised he will still
listen to anyone."
