Chapter 14: Letter Home

Dear Mom.

I’m not fully positive about how to get out my full feelings about this past month so I figured it would make more sense to just write you a letter about it, or email as it were.  This little transition between the studs and breeders leaving to make room for the next batch.  I mean I’m not going anywhere because I’m part of the next breeder batch, so I kinda have the whole resort to myself for a weekend.

So, anyway, on to the point:  I’m well… I’m a dad.

I know we expected that, it is my literal job.  And I also know that I’m not really a ‘DAD’ dad, just a bio dad, but it’s still weird now that she’s tested positive.
Her name is Regen by the way, and.  And I’m not sure how to put it exactly, but maybe I should just say that she’s sweeter than she comes across at first, or second.  She’s a sergal, older than me but still pretty, in a rugged sort of way.  Apparently, her family pushed her into being a breeder, so she wasn’t happy about me for awhile but, well.  Apparently, her family wanted a very particular species of breeder to mix with their gene pool.  Lapis helped but wanted two volunteers to join the hybrid program in return.  I think Regen is more… voluntold rather than volunteered which is…  Messed up… A part of me wants to report her family for that too, but Regen threatened me.  Not just yelled at me and called me ‘annoying boy with tits’ like normal, but made it VERY clear she’d do something bad if I tried to complain about her being less than willing.
