Nice to meet you.” Rebecca said, while Michelle was staring at the equine with a startlement that Rebecca hadn’t quite picked up on yet. Rebecca tried to get back to her normal pleasant charisma, but let out a nervous chuckle at the hilarity of the situation any way, “To tell you the truth… I half expected you to roll up naked like she is.”\n\nJasmin chuckled, “Might as well avoid getting stared at on the road hence the fashionable wardro…”\n\n“But you ARE naked…” Michelle said, cutting in.\n\nRebecca tilted her head, “I’m… pretty sure they aren’t…”\n\n“It’s an illusion” Michelle said, “good too, but I can see the edges.”\n\n“Well well.” Jasmin grinned wider, “I can see why my students thought that you might be worth teaching. Your senses aren’t bad at all” Jasmin snapped her fingers clearing the illusion and showing her and the Sergal’s true lack of coverings.\n\nRebecca’s eyes widened a bit, her face flushed, and she shut up, suddenly feeling rather nervous at being the only one in the car not naked.\n\n“You.. think so…” Michelle perked up a bit, “for real? I’m… so far behind them that… its hilarious.”\n\n“No doubt. I certainly could have put more work into that illusion, but it still should have been good enough to fool almost everyone. You got a good start little witch.”\n\nIt was Michelle’s turn to blush. Not just at the praise and reassurance that she wasn’t as far behind as she often felt, though that was part of it. Her other reason was that this woman’s lack of a reaction to her presence implied that In-ka hadn’t told her about Michelle’s part in what happened. Chapter 29: Go Back

“So…. You two are In-ka’s students?”

The speaker was a mare in the passenger front seat of a minivan.  Ultra standard mommy mobile that would be about as nondescript as one could get.  The driver was a tall and well built sergal male with a seriously annoyed look on his face.  They had picked up Michelle and Rebecca after they ‘borrowed’ the male’s phone to call them.  They had left the male with his phone and much less tied up so he could get help, but mostly just driven off afterwards.

“You SURE this is where she’s going?”  In-ka asked out loud as Lucy parked the appropriated car.  Lucy didn’t respond to the words; it wasn’t her being spoken to after all.
