Slice after slice joined it till there was a decent pile, along with a few sunny sides up eggs. A casual observer would see the apron clad sergal tossing fresh fried breakfast over her shoulder only for it to pause in midair. A more careful observer would see the shimmer in the air where the mostly invisible plate floated. \n\nIn-ka may have been the magical prodigy of Jasmin’s coven, but Kate had her own specialties. Specifically, she was a decent conjurer, creating temporary solid objects was something she had focused on once she realized that she wouldn’t be able to keep up with In-ka if she tried to master all of magic at once. Not to be confused with a summoner who could call living entities into the world, though Kate was trying to learn that, much more difficult, skill next.\n“Not bad” In-ka said from the dining room table.\n\n“The breakfast or the spell slinging?” Kate replied flinging her fingers like a conductor controlling the mostly invisible bacon tongs and serving plate that flew around at her command.\n\n“Both. You’ve got it almost invisible even to me” in-ka praised, “Breakfast smells good too”\n\nKate served the bacon and eggs and the pair sat down to eat. Kate tossed back a good bit more than her petit girlfriend, though given the size and muscle difference that was hardly a shock. Once done Kate flicked the greasy invisible plates over to the sink and dissipated them leaving the grease and crumbs to fall into the sink.\n\n“No dishes are the best dishes” Kate said with a grin, “So. You going to meet this Michelle today?”\n\n“mm hmm. Might as well show up. She does have some magical acumen, even if she doesn’t know it.”\n\n“I’ll come with”\n\n“No”\n\n“What?”\n\n“I’ll meet her alone, you can follow, but stay at a distance, far enough that she won’t see you. We don’t need to make her skittish out of the gate.”\nKate sighed, “I’d prefer to be close in case she tries anything.”\n\n“I think I can handle her, but if you want” In-ka took a breath then closed her eyes and without moving her mouth continued to speak, “We can keep in touch like this”\n\nKate replied with a similarly motionless mouth, “Fine, someone with no training won’t notice the telepathy I guess.”\n\nIn the park In-ka leaned on the railing of the small footbridge, looking down at the water lilies below. She hadn’t needed to wait long before Michelle arrived and started casually strolling towards her.\n\n“What is she wearing?” Kate’s voice said in In-ka’s head.\n\n“Guess she wants to make an entrance” In-ka thought back.\n\n“That’s laying it on a bit thick for an ‘entrance’”\n\nMichelle was wearing an impressively low cut V-neck that merged into a knee length skirt that was slit up both sides to just above her waist. With each step the leg in front was exposed up to the line where it met her torso, exposing enough to make one wonder of the girl was wearing underwear or not without being totally exposed. The top did similar with her breasts, exposing enough inner side boob that one wrong move would cause quite the nip slip. Her hair shone with some sort of product she had clearly brushed into it, along with the blush makeup on her face, the eyeliner, and the lip stick.\n\nCompared to In-ka’s sweatpants and t-shirt combo, she was dressed to draw the eye for sure.\n\n“That much effort for little me?” In-ka giggled in her mind to Kate, “I think she deserves at least a little ego boost for that”\n\nMichelle strolled up to In-ka and leaned against the railing sideways. With her body at an angle the slit skirt slid off her leg and exposed so much fur she was only technically not indecent, “Did I keep you waiting long, sweetie?”\n\nFor a split second In-ka considered pointing out that she had known Michelle had been watching her for over ten minutes before approaching, then she figured why not humor the girl, besides if she wasn’t at all surprised by the look that Michelle had gone with then she might have to explain how she had seen her coming without looking. \n\nIn-ka turned to look at Michelle, then made a point to trace her eyes up and down as if she was seeing her for the first time. Eyes going wide and mouth slightly open “Oh… oh my… h-hi”\n\n“Hey yourself” Michelle’s grin grew wider at In-ka’s reaction.\n\n“I’m a bit underdressed compared to you, aren’t I?” In-ka said peppering in a nervous giggle and pushing just enough reddish color to the bioluminescent skin of her face to look like a blush.\n\nMichelle clearly thought everything was going perfectly especially considering how her grin widened immediately at In-ka’s apparent flusterment. “Maybe, but you still have stunning eyes, and besides where we’re going how, or if, we’re dressed won’t matter too much” Michelle leaned in close, “Shall we go?”\n\n“W-where to?” In-ka asked affecting a stammer.\n\n“The forest of course, real nature, nothing artificial, not even this bridge. Out there, that’s the best place to feel the magic” Michelle stepped past In-ka and slid her tail up over In-ka’s back.\n\n“Well, she’s technically not wrong. That is a good place to be channeling nature magic.” Kate said drying in in-ka’s mind, “Though if a guy came on that strong and then said ‘lets go into the woods alone’ well…”\n\n“Oh, she is ABSOLUTLELY going to try to get at me.
