","writing":"Pauline Pip-Squeakski was just your average 1st year high school mouse girl. She was a C-student across the board and the only afterschool activity she participated in was detention (often the result of tardiness or missing homework assignments). \n\nOne day after being released from a particularly long afterschool detention she decided to go play by herself in the local park. \n\nShe would often go to this park to look at the nature, pick flowers, and hum sweet nothings to herself while lost in a daze of fantasy. She also looked forward to finding some of the younger children she knew from her old grade school who she identified with more than the peers from her current school. On this day however, as she wandered through the tree-lined paths of the park, she stumbled across some older kids from her high school who were drinking and doing drugs. This was not too unusual a sight in the park this late in the afternoon so Pauline didn't think much of it and walked past them. \n\nWhen the older kids, who were mostly big cats and dogs, saw her however they became confrontational and immediately surrounded her. They mocked her tiny stature, big ears, and unusually big nose. Pauline had heard it all before so was not particularly bothered. When she showed no negetive emotional response to their taunts they grabbed her by her ankles and held her upside down. \n\nShe squeaked in protest which got a rise out of some of the bullies. One then poured some beer down her inverted mouth and nose causing her to choke and cough violently. Laughing, they bound her ankles together with an old dirty rope and hung her upsidedown from a nearby tree branch. They then sat at a picnic table and laughed as she struggled. \n\nAs she tried to free herself Pauline's sweatshirt slid down her body and hung down over her head revealing her bare chest. The bullies laughed hysterically as Pauline was not wearing a bra. Where her breasts should have been was merly a contiguous flat plane of white fur with two tiny tipples barely visible beneath. \n\nPauline squeaked in desperation as she was humiliated by the gang. They removed her sweatshirt completely and then set it on fire on the ground as she watched. \n\nThe bullies took a few photos of Pauline in her inverted state and uploaded them to social media. Some included captions relating to hunting and capturing prey. All this while Pauline was sobbing and pleading to be let go. \n\nPauline shivered as the late October evening air blew cold against her bare fur. As darkness fell the bullies began to leave their group a few at a time until only two remained. \n\nThe two remaining teenagers took turns pushing Pauline back and fourth - swinging her like the pendulum of a grandfather clock. They made bets with eachother on when she would vomit from nausea, but she never did - having not eaten anything since lunch time nearly 10 hours prior. \n\nThe two bullies eventually got bored and wandered off - leaving Pauline hanging inverted from the branch. Nobody knows quite how long she screamed for help or how long she struggled to free herself before the inevitable happened. \n\nIt wasn't until the next day around noon that she was found by a maintenance worker but by then it was already too late. She had died. An autopsy was conducted and discovered she had only been dead for a few hours or so before she had been found. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxia through extended inversion coupled with hypothermia from prolonged exposure to the cold outside air. \n\nThe teens responsible for Pauline's death were quickly found by police but because of their status as minors and their lack of culpability they were given only a few dozen hours of comunity service each as punishment.
