Sit down and be quiet!\"\n\nTristan scratched at the shirt covering his chest and the shorts covering his bottom. He hated clothes. They always rub his fur the wrong way and make his skin crawl. For that reason, he hated having to leave Airedale to get the car worked on.\n\n'People don't run around nude all the time outside of town,' his mother had told him and his sister the first time they needed to take a trip. Having lived his whole life in Airedale, the idea of clothing being a requirement seemed so alien to him. Wearing an occasional shirt wasn't really a bother for him. It was the shorts that was really killing him. He was thankful the underwear wasn't required.\n\n\"Tristan.\" His sister was sitting near the windows looking into the bay where their car was being serviced. She waved him over with a smirk.\n\nThe wolf walked over to her, arms crossed, \"What?\" he asked curtly. Taylor had been allowed to wear a sundress, which he thought wasn't very fair. When he asked their mother if he could wear one, he was given what he felt was a lecture on male and female clothing norms.\n\nTaylor looked over to Rebecca to see if she was paying attention. She wasn't, having returned to her magazine, facing the wall with the muted television. With a giggle, the young coyote leaned back in the chair, revealing to her brother that she had shed the panties she was given to wear.\n\nTristan scowled at her, scratching his sides. He whispered, \"I could tell mom and get you grounded.\" It was a bluff, really. It wasn't the fact she wasn't wearing underwear that bothered him. It was the fact she could get away with it because of what she was wearing.\n\nTaylor smiled, calling his bluff, \"Nuh-uh. You're just jealous.\" She kicked her feet at him as he turned toward the window, arms still crossed.\n\n----\n\nI had the idea of this very brief story in mind for a while and never really acted on it. Then I saw that @joykill was taking commissions and I asked him to draw Taylor and Tristan wearing clothes with the former teasing the latter about her lack of underwear. I love the annoyed look Tristan has in this picture and it just fits the scene I had in mind so well!",
