In that moment, everything Luna ever knew was scattered to the wind. Every thought she ever had was forgotten. Every opinion, fear, hope, aspiration, love, and friendship she had ever known was destroyed. The effect on her brain was still unknown to Starlight at this moment, but she was certain some permanent damage was done.
Luna fell back as if she were dead, yet she still breathed.
“Well, little Luna, how do you feel?” Starlight asked.
“...Whatever...You...Want me...To feel…” Luna said. The tears pouring out of her had suddenly stopped, although she was drooling pathetically through a mouth she did not know to close. Starlight had not yet brainwashed her to the beauty and peace of equality under her rule, but there would be time for that. For now she simply used her magic to drain Luna of her strength. She shrunk to the same size as the other former princesses. And now, she was as useless as the rest of Equestria.
Starlight took a deep breath. She had finally done it. The royal family of Equestria was now putty in her hands, and she could use them to get her rightful spot on the throne. She thought about what she would do tomorrow. First show the guards in the castle the light of equality, then teach the citizens of equestion the glory of being equal and useless, then, perhaps, she would invade the world to show how peaceful and empty mind and ego was.
