wolf into the hospital for picking on his little brother. he made so much noise in the hall that one of the teachers left her class to see what was going on, \"young man, there is classes going on right now\" \"oh go blow it out your ass lady\" he dropped his books and papers on the floor only taking his personal things before swinging his bag over his shoulder \"get back here and clean up this mess young man\" the lamb told him firmly \"bite me bitch\" he flipped her off and kept going. \nhe stopped at the grade one class barging his way in mid class and interrupting the teacher \"Roni\" on him. it was a good thing to, because he would have really gone off on them and blood would be split.\nWhen Roni went into the house his foster father grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in to the kitchen where his foster mother, rose was. he forced him in to a chair and started screaming at him for getting expelled and taking Koda out of class, and of course every time Roni tried to tell them what happened he would get a slap, so there was no way for him to tell his side of things, not like it would have mattered anyway so he stopped just stopped trying. when they were done with him, they sent him to bed with out any supper and grounded him for the rest of what would have been the school year, 2 weeks.\nIt was nothing new, with the amount of times he was sent to bed with out food he would have starved years back so he always had a hidden stash of food and other things in his room. To make sure that they never entered his room to look around he made sure to leave enough disgusting things laying around they didn't want to see, hear or smell. After The last thing they found they started to stay out and wouldn't fiend anything he had hidden under the loose floor boards under his bed stand. \nHe opened the window in his room and his best friend jumped in from outside, a feral shepherd he had rescued from the streets, the one the only thing he looked foreword to by coming home. \nHe intervened on a fight he was in, with another feral and once he chased them off and brought him back to his room, fixing him up. Roni even offered him to go back to the streets when he was in good condition but he was only gone for less then 24 hours before coming back, he had been there ever since, that was 5 years a go. he named him sparkey.\nHe stayed in his room for the rest of the day with sparky laying on his bed because the feral was not allowed to be in the rest of the house so he barley left his room in the first place, and no one came in and he didn't leave, for most of it he didn't care because it was relaxing but as the night time came around he started to get restless, so when Jesse pinged him it was just in time.\nRoni didn't have a phone because he smashed it, his foster parents had taken it a way so many times that he just gotten tired of it, smashed it in the drive way, and using the money that he made from ted, under the table of course because they took every thing he made. he bought a set of long range 2 way radios and gave one to Jesse so that they could talk when ever they wanted. they give one to Kory as well but his father found it and dropped it into the lake. Roni saw red, pure anger filling his eyes he pulled the gun from its holster and aimed for Jacksons head \"make your move. So I can drop you where you stand\" Jacksons eye zeroed in on the gun, he did take another step. \"last chance to get out of my sight, because if he dies, I'm coming for you, your family and every last mammal you could possibility care about, and you will watch them die\" Jackson hesitated so he fired a round into the dirt at his feet, spraying him with dirt, enough to show that it was infarct real and loaded.\njack dropped the knife and ran off, tail between his legs and dragging his brother with him, when jack was gone Roni rushed to sparkeys side placing his paw on the wound, \"fucking knifes\" he sead shaking his head. he had been stabbed in the hind leg, the knife was not big and it didn't go to deep, but that didn’t stop Roni from crying and panicking using the sleeve of his t-shirt as gauze to stop the bleeding \"I'm so, so sorry spark\" Roni sead wiping his face with his shoulder \"this is all my fault, please be OK, please\" he started to shake \"i....i got to get you home\" he striped his jacket from his back and wrapped sparky up before scooping him up in his arms and ran home, almost running in to parked cars and light posts.\n\nonce he made it home he he didn't even climb though the window he leaped and ducked in, laying sparkey on his bed and started tossing things left and right to get to the vet bag he had for his summer job as the vets assistant. once he reached it he flopped it onto the bed next to spark and wiped his eyes so that he could see what he was doing. \"you....you will be OK,\" he covered the wound with fresh compress \"please don’t leave me\" he applied presser and used his free paw to dig thought the bag garbing a needle with pain killers and jabbed him, and tossed it to the side. Grabbing the stitch kit he removed the compress \"don’t take him from me\" he sead shaving the wound with one swift swipe of the razer and tossing that aside to \"i cant,,,,i cant go on with out you\" he ripped the stapler from its package using 3 before tossing that aside with the others and placed a new compress over the wound and held it there as he cried blaming him self for what had happened. \nsparky was out from the drugs, so well sparky laid at the foot of the bed Roni stayed on his knees and leaning over sparky crying his eyes out still holding the cotton pad in place. \nHours later sparky hadn't moved, he was in the same spot, Roni shook his head thinking the worst had happened \"no, no, no\" he shook the him with both paws to wake him. \nRonis sobbing is what woke sparky up from the drugs, when he lifted his head he looked around fox sitting on the floor crying in to his paws, pleading to have him back, he couldn't bare to see the fox in this state. he forced him self to his feet, even though they were unsteady \"please, stop this stop this right now\" he sead limping to the edge of the bed \"I'm....I'm OK\" sparky spoke softly getting off the bed but Roni was still crying blaming him self for what had happened. nothing he sead was getting though to him so this time with heat he screamed “ITS NOT YOUR FAULT”\nThis time it got a response, he looked up but looked towards the window and to the door not thinking about looking at the feral that layed on the edge of the bed. He sead closing up his med kit and draping it on his shoulder.\nRoni got to his feet and left though the front door of the house, thankful his mother had taken Koda to school because it would have been off putting if he showed up surrounded in ferals. \n\nThere den turned out to be a old apartment building that was closed down in the 80s for unsafe living conditions., it was located 12 blocks a way near he edge of town, not that it was a bit deal to get there but half way there Roni scooped up sparky because he was limping moor then normal and wouldn't tell Roni that he was hurting, so when he was not paying atanshin he scooped him up in his arms and made carried him around his neck like a fashion accessory embarrassing him. Roni had told him that if he would have just told him he would have carried him differently, even with the combined weight of spark and the medical bag he didn't put him back on the ground until they got to were heading.\nFrom the street it looked like a run down apartment block, but as they got closer he could tell that something was not what it seemed. If they did, they would be bashed from the pack if not killed” “Jesus” “still though, they would have to get past me to harm you. They know better then that” \nRoni didn’t say anything after that, he didn’t know what to say so he just followed the golden retriever that brought them there up the steps to the top floor, and to the farthest of the rooms. \nHe was told to wait in the hall way with sparkey well the golden retriever went in first, he leaned ageist the wall in silence until he saw sparkey ears perk and he looked back down the hall where they came from, they were being approached by a tan and black shepherd, when she got close sparkey looked a way from her and continued to stare at the door that buddy went though. She stopped and glanced up at roni then to spark “ghost, your, your so clean….I never thought I would see the day” he voice was soft and gentle, “how are you doing” sparkey didn’t respond, he didn’t even look over at her and when he didn’t she sighed “ghost please, I just….” “don’t….just don’t” sparkey finely looked back to her “I don’t want to hear it, what's done is done” she looked down to the floor “if I knew what your brothers were going to do….” “you did know, the whole pack knew. They set me up and you did nothing” \nRoni stared down at this not knowing what to say or do but he hadn't seen sparke this agitated, the furl on his back was standing on end and his tail was as ridged as a 2X4 \n“gost I….” “no mother, i'm done, i'm done with this pack, and i'm done with you. And once this is over i'm not coming back again, ever” ronis ears perked when sparkey sead mother “im, i'm sorry son” she sighed and slowly walked past them and into the room that buddy went in her head hung low. Sparkey shook his head and snorted in anger before staring at the door once moor. \nBefore roni could react buddy came out into the hall way “you can go in now” and sat beside the door roni nodded and walked in beside sparkey “hey, its not….” sparkey growled at him shutting him up instantly. \nUnlike the other rooms this one was farley clean and the floor was covered in pillows and other soft items, and unlike the rest of the place there was less ferals around. 7 including sparkey mother. They layed on the piles of pillows watching as they came in and stood in front of them. \nSparkey nodded to a black gait Dane that layed in the center of them all “that’s the elder” roni could see that she was old, the fur on her face was going white, she would also shake and shiver like she was cold but that couldn't be because it was pretty warm summer “ghost” she sead softly with a gentle nods of her head “elder” sparkey sat on his hunches “how are you doing my dear” “lets get to the point” she nodded “as you wish” she turned to look at roni “so you’re the one that has the ability to understand us” he nodded in response “what douse it mean elder, why have you summed him here” sparkey asked softly \n\nthe grate Dane took a minit to get to her feet, her legs wobbled, her walk was stiff but she sat in the same place that the black shepherd sat in \"it is nice to finely meet you\" she sead softly \"i'm sur that....that your wondering....one second\" she closed her eyes and she started to wobble a bit till she almost fell over. Roni rushed foreword catching her. Making the entire room bust out in growls and teeth Roni pulled his gun to stop them from attacking him. \"easy now, easy are you OK\" he asked when the Dane recovered, she nodded \"just a little dizzy dear, i will be OK\" Roni let her go when she was able to sit on her own \"get a way from her\" the black shepherd sead growling and slowly approaching. he aimed the gun at her \"jade, please. if this fox was to hurt me, i'm sure that he would have by now, please return to your position\" the black shepherd glared at Roni before she returned to where she was before, \"you can put that thing shrugged \"it is now\" he let the bag he brought with him to help sparky if he needed it, slide off his shoulder and to the ground \"he can help, and he can talk at the same time\" buddy sead from the back of the room \nhe took a small light from the bag \"this will be bright\" he sead truing the light on and flicking it across her eyes, making them dilate. before he could turn off the light it hit something shiny by her ear. he turned her head and lifted up her ear and shined the light in \"oh wow\" he sead truing the light off \"i'm surprised you can even hear me\" Roni sead before digging in the bag pulling out some cotton swabs \"we don’t use our ears to communicate\" she told him he rested his paws on his legs \"tell me if you can hear this then\" he slapped his paws together right by her ear, she shook her head \"how about this\" \"just barely\" she sead he rubbed her ears gently \"douse your ears ich\" \"consistently\" he looked at the swab \"your ears are almost blocked by mites\" he dropped the swab next to the bag before digging though it again taking out an eye dropper and a small tube \n\"ear mites can cause itchy ears, hearing loss, dizziness and in sever cases brain damage. this will help\" he held up the vile \"its olive oil\" he warmed it in his paws before he placed 2 drops in each ear \"but its only temporary\" he broke the top off the small tube and emptied the contents on the back of her neck and rubbed it in \"this will kill the mites, its quite strong so it only takes one use, they will be gone in a day or 2\" he tossed the empty tube and \"this feel weird, but i got to move your head around OK\" she nodded and Roni covered both her ears with his paws and tilted her head slowly from left to right a couple times before letting go. she sat there with out moving for a second before looking up at him surprised \"the itch its slowly going a way\" she sounded surprised she even stood and shook like she was wet, sending small amounts of liquid from her ears spraying around. \nRoni chuckled and smiled as she sat back down in front of him \"the oil will loosen the mites hold\" he sead placing 2 moor drops in each ear \"it will releave a bit well the medicine starts to work\" Roni put the oil a way \"once the ear mites die off your hearing could clear up to\" he looked in to her ears once moor with the light, they were draining like they should with the oil, he wiped it up with a gauze pad \"better\" he asked her softly \"yes\" she responded. he smiled well he zipped up the bag putting the strap back over his shoulder. \nwhen he stood up she did to, walking around a bit before she returned and sat back down in the same spot hr tail slightly waging. he turned to go back next to sparky when he noticed that all of them were staring at him intently making him stop \"what\" he asked looking around he continued till he was in front of sparky he squatted down and scratched his head, he licked his face \"thank you\" he sead softly \"you know its just something that i do spark\" Roni turned to face the Dane once moor \"and scratching sparkeys head \"well, lets get this over with\" Roni sead\n“of coarse, but before I can tell you what this could mean I must tell you about a legend from our kind, of how bipeds came to be what they are. mother earth came forth and told us, a male member of our kind would breed with a mammal that walked up right. and would bring forth a new gerashin of mammal. even though we were to remain unchanged we would be joined with this upright mammal in a sacred bond that could with stand the lands of mother earth. we were to protect and serve together for mother earth side by side until the day would pass that mother earth would once again come forth and and offer us a new challenge. \n“when this first happened many years back we could communicate with ease but as time moved on the bipeds had violated our bond and mother earth severed the connection between us and told us that it would remain broken. one day though when a conflict was brewing a mammal would be born with this ability intact to lead us and guide us as the battle consumed the planet, making them the alpha, and us there soldier for the up coming battle\"\n\nRoni huffed and rolled his eyes. \"a war, me being able to understand you means a war is coming\" the Dane shrugged \"could be coming and that's what the legends say. but that's just what they are, legends. there is no way to know if they are true or not\" \"may i intervene\" the black shepherd asked lowering her head. the Dane nodded in response and she sat off to the side \"i don’t know what the legends say but an upcoming conflict, could that have anything to do with the possible rebellion\" every one seamed to know what they were talking about except Roni \"that could be a possibility\" the elder Dane sead softly \"you don’t think that it would come to fruition do you\" \"what the are you talking about\" Roni asked confused \"what rebellion, the quarrels decided to attack instead of being a pain in the ass\" they all looked at him \"no, they will always taunt us, attacking anyone would be the worst mistake. no we are talking about our kind in general, there has been a rebellion growing for many years now, full of mammals, avian reptiles and so much moor that think attacking your kind will solve the many problems, where some of us think it will just destroy what's left of mother earth. this pack douse not this to happen because we think it will only make things a lot worse. But there's fewer and fewer of us each year, they are recruiting right from the source, pets that have been treated badly by there bipeds\"\n“we out number your kind so they think it will be a easy task but your kind has proven its self to be a stronger then you look, this is why some don’t want this, because it would be a conflict to extension destroying mother earth in the poses, and if we destroy her there will be nothing left to give us life\" \"maybe you were born with your ability in tact, because you can talk to both sides you can stop this from happening\" buddy sead looking at Roni \nRoni started laughing, so hard in fact that he fell to the ground and having to hold his sides because of the pain he was experiencing. for a solid five mints he laughed his ass off his eyes watering and almost peeing him self but he finely started to come back to his senses well the others stared at him with a mix of confusion and annoyance, “that’s….that’s the worst ides I have ever herd” because if he was to tell anyone that he could understand them, not only would they not believe him they would lock him up in a place with padded walls and white sheets. and he would never ever get out. He sat up in the floor whipping the tears from his eyes and holding his stomach \n\"so yea, if this is the conflict that this legend is talking about then were truly fucked, because its going to happen, also i'm sure that i would not be the first to CLAME that i can understand you, and you know what happened to them\" Roni shook his head \"no one douse because they were put in the damn nut house to never be herd from again\" Roni chuckled \"and lets say, on the off chance, they do believe me, they would use every piece of military equipment at there disposal to start whipping you out first, I would not advise that”\nThey exchanged looks of concern “before the Dane lowered her head “I only wish I understood moor about what this means, there's a couple reasons, but we cant let this go right now until we know what is going on” “douse that mean I can go now” he gestured to the door behind him. So you need to be alert and ready in case something like that happens” roni sighed “I want to send along 2 of my strongest to keep watch over you” “what, no, hell no I can take care of my self and there's no force on earth or heaven that could make me do something I don’t want” she stared at him “your….your going to do it anyway aren't you” roni huffed “fine, fine but I get to choose who stalks me” he was defeated no mater what so he thought he could make the best of it \n“agreed then, I will have vex assemble my strongest” she nodded to sparkeys mother, and she ran off “until then your free to wander, I my self have to rest, until next time” the elder got to her feet and slowly left first, the rest followed right after, when it was just roni and sparkey left in the room roni sighed and leans back on his paws “this….this is not going to get any better is it” he asked “no, not at all” he scratched sparkeys head “lets get some air pup” he got to his feet and dusted off the loose fur and headed for the door followed closely by spark.\n \nThey got to the ground floor when he flooded by little ones. All the pups in the building flocked around him asking him questions, trying to get him to play, and trying to convince him to take them on a trip outside the den because they were not allowed. what ever it was they were curios about they didn't hesitate to ask, all at once on that. Roni tried to tell them all what they wanted to know and even picked them up to carry them around but he soon had to go, they were not going to let him get a way that easy and when he tried to look to sparky for assistance, he had no intentions of getting close, because of the likely hood that they would start swarming him next, roni had never saw him so scared in his life.\nHe couldn't get a way from the carpet sharks until vex came down the steps and sent them back to there parents for there naps, they whined and cried but when she gave a bit of a growl they moved fast, roni once moor had to dust him self off from the dirt and loose fur “little shit heads” with a chuckle “I have gathered some of our top guards, they are out front” roni nodded, sparkey of course seand nothing “but before you go, may….may I have a word” sparkey stopped in his tracks and roni hesitated but sparkey told him that he would wait for him out front and continued on out the front doors well roni sighed going out the back into an overgrown parking lot with vex. \nWhat used to be the parking lot was now over grown and enclosed with trees and grass, it made sense since the apartment building was abandoned in the mid 80s and deemed unsafe so no one has been there in years. The tarmac was speckled with blood, fur and scratch marks, it looks as if there was a lot of fighting going on there. He took buddy, a choice that surprised every one there buddy included, he even explained to him that he was no good in a fight or anything dangerous, but even though he tried roni still picked him. The guards that rose sent for angerly stormed off when roni told them that his mined was made up, one of them though stopped and faced him “let me get this right you really want a dirty blood like that instead of one of us” \nRoni didn’t have a clue what that meant but he took it as it being a insult “the fuck you just call him” his paw clenched “PATCH, GO NOW” vex screamed “your defending it” “I told you to go back to your post” vex came up beside roni “unless you want to end up in the pits once moor and this time you wont be getting out” he looked from roni to her then to buddy, “what ever, a least we wont have to look at it anymore” he stomped back into the building “what an ass” roni sead shaking his head \nVex glanced up at him and gave him a look like, the I told you so sorta thing before she went back to buddy and and rested her head on his “I will miss you, but maybe this is for the better, this fox is different” “I will miss you to mom, I will visit when ever I can”\nWhen they parted buddy stood next to the fox well vex approached spark, she whispered something to him before returning back inside, this time though he watched her go, what ever she told him made him watch her leave but when he saw that both roni and buddy were watching him he shook it off “I want to get out of here” roni nodded “of course” and they started walking back home.\nThey walked in silence the entire way back to the house, where roni walked though the house passing his father on the sofa with out saying a word and went straight to his room and flopped down onto the bed, he was tired and for good reason, being woke up at the ass crack of dawn and heading to the edge of town and back, was a bit moor then he wanted. “well I don’t know….about you 2 but i'm going to get some sleep” his words were muffled into the pillow. Because of the things that happened the day before he was no longer allowed on school grounds for the rest of the year, so he just had to wait on the side walk for his little brother to get out. \nWhen koda saw him he came running, jumping up so Roni would carry him. when he put him back down he gave sparky a hug to, he stopped though when he noticed buddy there as well, he pointed and asked “whose doggies”. Roni shrugged but all he could come up with was that he was a friend of sparks that here to visit for a bit, Being 6 it was an easy sell. \nRoni had told buddy all about Koda on the way, and that he would want to pet him, he was OK with that part. he was just not used to being touched by anything other then his own kind so sparkey had told him how to avoid him. running in a circle, it would make Koda fall on his butt allowing him to get free, he has to do it a time or two a week to get a way from him when he gets to annoying. sparkey also added that if he was to hurt him, roni would likely toss him in a meat grinder and feed him to the homeless, he was just a puppy after all.\n\nThey waited for jessy and Kory before they started on there way back, Roni carried Koda on his shoulders as they walked. With there help things would look random and nothing could be traced and with out another thought spark jumped though the window to set things up “remember, mimed not killed” he sead “OK, OK, OK I will try to remember that part” he rolled his eyes when he jumped down.\nRoni sat back on the bed thinking about what sparkey truly was planning “you are really going to let wilds attack you mother and father” buddy asked looking up at him “first, they are not my parents, second, let me tell you what the last 10 years of my life has been like” he patted the bed “get settled this might take a while” buddy hoped up on the bed and layed beside roni well he told him what exactly what he has put up with since he was 6.\nSparkey didn’t return until later that night, saying everything was set up for tomorrow. when roni was almost done telling buddy about his life, and then finished he was fully up for what was going on, he even wanted in. \n\nThe next day roni left the house with koda to take him to the park to play with jessys brother he passed his foster parents well they were getting ready for there day, jess was all ready outside and waiting for them, so he just passed by them with a smile on his muzzle, “and where the hell do you think your taking him” William asked “to the park, that way he wont see what happens to you over the next 24 hours” Before they could comment on what he just sead he closed the door and headed to the park knowing that they would not make a public seen. \n\nRose left to go to work not long after roni left, William though he left around noon to get to the bar, as soon as it opened, He was not going to make it there. When he placed his paw on the door handle of the truck he saw something move from the corner of his eye, he turned around to see a coyote standing in the drive way, just looking up at him. he waved his paw “git, get out of here” but the coyote just stood there tilting its head from side to side, like it was confused. “what are you, retarded” he reached into the box of the truck and grabbed a beer can, he crushed it and tossed it at the yote, it landed at its front feet, it didn’t flinch or even blink but it did lower its head and sniff at it before looking back at William.\nHe shook his head taking a step towards it, when he did that two moor came out from under the truck and grabbed him by the ankles bringing him down to the ground, they bit down as hard as they could, there teeth ripping though the jeans and into his flesh making him scream out. They started to drag him back and under the truck, he tried kicking and using his claws but there combined strength they were able to drag him across the drive way. The last thing he saw before being dragged under the truck completely to be mauled was the 1st coyote still standing there, staring right into his eyes and tilting its head. After that all that could be herd was Williams screams of pain and fear from one end of the block to another, by the time anyone got there, all they found was a bleeding fox under his truck. His attackers were no where to be seen, the only evidence that something was there besides William was the paw marks in blood going out and around the house to the back ally, with all traces of his attackers lost once they hit the dirt on the ally road.\n\nA couple hours later rose received word that her husband was in an accident and she left work to rush to the hospital, she hoped in her car and drove off. She was half way there when she stopped at a red light tapping the steering wheel impatiently when a black bird, a crow landed on the hood of the car. It pecked at the paint making her lower the window and wave at it, but all it did was squawk at her. When it pecked at the paint again she stuck her head out the window and yelled, in a flash a flock of 20 rush into the open window pecking, biting and scratching her up from head to toe. Her screaming caught the attention of near by mammals, they rushed to her aid but as soon as they opened the door to the car the crows rushed out and flew off before they could react. Rose was left bleeding from many wounds all over her body and the car its self was filled with feathers and droppings, she was carted off to the hospital once the EMTs got there.\n\nRoni was at the park all day mostly sitting under the big tree with sparkey close by, they watched as jessy would get swarmed by koda and his own little brother, or they watched as buddy and Simba, jessys yellow lab bounce about, playing and running around. Buddy and Simba had hit it off right a way, friend at first sight just like koda and Sam did when they first met. Roni though, when simba was around acted as though he couldn't understand him, both he and sparkey didn’t want the whole feral world to know about it unless there was good reason.\nEvery one was having a fun time, there day couldn’t have gone better but when jessys phone started to ring he had to leave the cubs to there thing at the play ground well he ran back to answer it, making him huff and puff when he got there. The phone though was not for him, yes it was his father but he was calling to see if he was with roni, when he told him that he was passed the phone over to him “its, for you” he sead confused \nHe was calling to tell roni that his parents were involved in a accident and that they were at the hospital, when he replied with a so, so what there was a slight pause before he went on to tell him that they could be there for at least a couple days and that if he needed anything that he was free to call on them. Roni thanked him before hanging up the phone and giving it back to Jess. “well that was strange, what did he want” jessy asked confused but roni only shrugged “meh, nothing much really, apparently William was attacked by a pack of wild coyotes and rose was swarmed by a murder of crows” he glanced real quickly at sparkey before returning to jessy “so nothing important” roni sipped from a can of ice tea like nothing had just happened\nJessy just sat there, his eyes locked on roni, “what….what the hell is with that” jessy asked utterly confused “are they going to be OK” roni shrugged “I expect they will, I mean it was nothing that bad” “do you want to go to the hospital” roni only scoffed “not really no” jessy couldn't believe it, nothing like that has happened before so it was very confusing “well you should at least go see them, maybe they can tell you what happened” he rolled his eyes “OK fine I will go to see them later on, but I can garinte that they wont tell me shit” \nJessy had to sit there for a bit trying to wrap his head around what had happened, when everything that he ran though his head came up with nothing he finally shook his head “that’s, that’s just harsh” “not really, they kida got it coming” roni told him with a flat tone “what if they come back, what if they attack you” “meh, not likely and unlike them I can defend my self” jessy looked out towards the park “what about koda, maybe he can stay at my place well they look for them”\nHe glanced over to the park as well to see koda chasing sam around shouting that he was going to catch him “I guess that would be OK, do you think your mother could handle a extra” “are you kidding, he loves him. Remember, she always wanted moor cubs father just couldn't do it” “well its up to him and her if they are OK with it then I am” \nJessy had already texted his mother to see if it was OK so by the time that roni agreed she already texted back absolutely, and when the cubs came running back to them for a juice box koda was moor then happy to have a sleep over with sam, he couldn’t be happier. They ran off once moor dragging jessy with them leaving sparkey alone with roni “so coyotes and crows, that’s different” he sead placing a paw on his head “well I was going to send in a cougar but he didn’t want to stop at harm he wanted to kill, I mean it was tempting” roni chuckled “good planning pup” roni told him scratching his head and leaning back ageist the tree “well we will let them play a little longer before we take off” sparkey rested his head on ronis leg “works for me”\n\nThey didn’t stay to much longer after that, jessys mother was getting supper on soon and she wanted the little ones to get cleaned up before then so they left right after she texted Jess, he also took koda with him from there so that roni could go to the hospital and told roni that he would stop by later to get kodas things.\nroni didn’t even stop off at the house, he went to the hospital straight from the park with buddy and sparkey at his side, he told them it was time for the second part, and told them to be ready for what ever came next because he was thinking this part up as he went, it would all depend on what they had to say and when they were going to act.\n\nAt the hospital roni got sparkey and buddy past the security by telling them that they were his parents and they they would like to at least see them before visiting hours were over, they were hesitant but they finally let him though and he went straight to there room, because they were married they were in the same room making things a lot moor easy. He placed his paw on the door handle and looked around before quickly slipping in \nthey were awake and the only ones there, they were sitting up in there beds watching the TV that was set up in front of them, they had bandages on there arms, neck, and chests, William was even missing part of his left ear, and when Roni walked in they turned to look at him \"what the hell are you doing here\" he locked the door behind them \"and who allowed them in here\" William was referring to sparky and buddy. \"what, i cant come say hi to my dear old parents\" he sead sarcastically walking to the other side of the room and looking out the window \"i....just wanted to make sure your OK\" he kept the sarcastic tones on his voice as he opened the window. He walked back pulling the chair that was ageist the windows and sitting in between there beds \"don’t patronize me you little shit\" rose spat\nsparky and buddy sat on ether side of the arm char that Roni was in and interlocked his fingers resting his paws on his lap, before he could say anything the PA system cam on \"emergency in the lobby, all security please report to the entrance\" Roni shrugged “i wanted to come and see you, i wanted to know if you were ready to change your minds, you know before things start getting worse\" they glanced at each other \"were not doing shit, and we were attacked by deranged ferals\" \"oh you mean them\" he pointed to the window, between there beds. As they looked to where he was pointing 3 coyotes busted though the screen and the crows followed suit, the crows lined up on the foot of her bed well the yotes stood on ether side of his the 3 though jumped up on the foot of the bed, staring at him like he did before he was pulled under the truck by the other 2\nthey grabbed for the call buttons but they didn't work \"oh i unplugged the leads when i opened the windows. so they are not working. and you can scream all you want no one will hear you, they are chasing half a dozen or so birds though out the hospital\" the looks on there face was enough for Roni to see that they were scared \"you see them\" he gestated to the ferals around him \"you see they, are with me, and they really like to do as i ask, your.…”random” feral attacks” he did the finger quotations just because “were....well they were not so random\" he looked over to William \"see, i told you i had friends, you should have lissend to me for once\" Roni stood up and smiled at them both \"now, i really didn't want it to come to this but you brought this on your self's, 10 years of abuse and hate I received was one thing, but when you tried separating Koda and me that’s where I draw the line. did you really think that i would let that happen\" \"your going to...\" Roni snapped his fingers and the coyote jumped on William and growled in his face \"its not your turn to talk yet, you will get your turn when its time for that. now i'm only going to offer you this once, you have until Monday to make things right. i don’t care how you do it, as long as it gets done in time\" \"what makes you think....\" Roni snapped his fingers once moor and the and a yote jumped on roses bed and snapped his teeth inches from her muzzle \"not your time to talk ether\" he sead softly \"if its not done by end of bisness Monday you will be ripped to shreds in your own bed. if you try to run i will know, if you divert from normal activity, i will know. i have eyes and ears in the sky on the ground and in the sea, there's no place on this earth you can hide where my friends cant get to you. so what do you say, do we have a deal or do i let them loose on you here and now\" \n\nHe sat back down in the chair interlocking his fingers and placing his leg over the other resting his paws on his knee, he nodded and the ferals jumped off there beds \"60 seconds to decide\" he looked at his watch. they once moor glanced at each other, and nodded \"go to hell, i'm not doing shit\" Roni turned to rose \"is that what you think as well\" but she didn't ancer, she just glanced at William and when he shook his head she still sead nothing so Roni shrugged “you do realize, I only need one of you to get what I need right, having both of you around just makes things harder. I hope you know that” “go to hell, I knew I should have gotten rid of you. But the sate sead you had to stay together until you were of age. Your as useless now as you were when you first darkened my door step” William tossed the call butten ageist the wall braking it in anger \"i guess they needs a little moor time to think” he sighed getting to his feet and moved to the door followed by both sparky and buddy, he unlocked the door and let sparky and buddy go first.\nRoni stopped in the door way and turned to face them and once moor asked them what they were going to do but all got was stares from rose and a insult from William, he shook his head and sighed \"I honestly wanted this to go a different way o really did” he glanced at the coyotes and the crows “kill him, but only him. sparkey sead putting there the leashes in his paw and walking down the halls to the exit, now and then seeing the guards and nurses run from one room to another chasing the birds making him chuckle \"looks like some birdies got in\" Roni sead looking around. \nLater that night well Koda was at jessys place Roni cooked up some supper for him and the others. sparky layed on the sofa cleaning his paws and buddy sat on the kitchen floor watching roni move about using the mishens to cook taking in moor information about the things that bipeds used, even though he didn't understand it. he had just turned off the stove and sat the pot of soup off to the side when the door bell rang, he glanced at his watch \"7:32, that didn't take long\" he left the kitchen, Roni went to the door the moment he opened it Jesse busted though and hugged him tightly \"je....Jess\" Roni sead actually surprised hugging him back, his father was behind him \"Mr. Anderson, what are you doing here\" he asked into the house followed by Jesse and his father, they sat in the kitchen. \"so....Roni i have to talk to you\" \"if its about what happened this morning then i already told you that I was at the park all day with them\" Roni sead \"no, its not about that. you were at the hospital this afternoon, you saw your foster parents Roni nodded grabbing the pot of soup to fill some bowls \"and\" he asked confused \"what the hell are you talking about, how the hell douse one get mauled in a fucking hospital\" \nMr. Anderson shrugged and shook his head \"we don’t know, what or why it happened. its strange to say the least in all my years i haven't saw anything like it\" Roni scoffed \"fuck, and here i though he would drop from drinking and or beating on something or some one\" \"what do you most morning Roni was the first to wake up and start moving around, no mater what time he went to bed he was always up around the same time, the only difference this time he didn't have to stick to told him what happened in the hospital. he had to pass the office to get out of the school and when Roni took Koda from his class the teacher called the office right a way so the precibal was waiting for them when they passed "now you know you cant...." "oh should've it up your ass old man" he placed his paw on Ronis shoulder too stop him “remove your paw, before i crush it and tell every one about the hidden cameras you put in the girls bathroom" he didn't have to turn around to see the look of unease on the stallions face, he could feel it in his grip, but it was enough for him to let go of the fox allowing him to leave with out intervening again.

Roni picked Koda up and set him on his shoulders once he got out side, just like he did every day when they went home. he didn't get off the property when he herd his name being called, when he turned around he saw Jesse running towards him "Jess what the hell are you doing, don’t you still have your classes" "oh fuck that shit" he waved his paw "if your getting expelled then they can bite me" Roni laughed "your going to fuck up your perfect attendance, what will your parents say to that" he shrugged as they started to walk "mother will be pissed and might ground me, and father, he will most likely give me a pat on the back for standing up for what i believe in" roni lifted Koda off his shoulders "go ride with uncle Jesse" he sead putting him on Jessys shoulders "yay, lets go fast" he sead holding on to his ears "hold on then" he held onto Kodas legs and took off running up the street, well Koda laughed and called out for him to go faster and faster. being a leopard he was way faster then Roni could ever manage.
the feline had moor stamina then Roni could ever wish for, he ran all over with the cub on his back, stopping now and then next to Roni so that Koda could flick his ear and take off once moor, it was like that the entire 6 blocks to his place.

Jesse patted his arm and told him he will ping him later that night before he started off to words his place just down the block. "I FUCKING SEAD NOW" Roni turned to see his foster father standing in the door way, wearing the same thing he always had on, a white muscle shirt and boxers "yea, yea I'm coming I'm coming" he sead.
He knew that he was going to be in trouble with his foster mother and father but at this point in life he really didn't care any moor, had been with them for over five years now he was well used to them, the only one he cared about moor then anything thought was Koda, and for the time being they didn't lay a paw on him. it was a good thing to, because he would have really gone off on them and blood would be split.
When Roni went into the house his foster father grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in to the kitchen where his foster mother, rose was. he forced him in to a chair and started screaming at him for getting expelled and taking Koda out of class, and of course every time Roni tried to tell them what happened he would get a slap, so there was no way for him to tell his side of things, not like it would have mattered anyway so he stopped just stopped trying. when they were done with him, they sent him to bed with out any supper and grounded him for the rest of what would have been the school year, 2 weeks.
It was nothing new, with the amount of times he was sent to bed with out food he would have starved years back so he always had a hidden stash of food and other things in his room. To make sure that they never entered his room to look around he made sure to leave enough disgusting things laying around they didn't want to see, hear or smell. After The last thing they found they started to stay out and wouldn't fiend anything he had hidden under the loose floor boards under his bed stand.
He opened the window in his room and his best friend jumped in from outside, a feral shepherd he had rescued from the streets, the one the only thing he looked foreword to by coming home.
He intervened on a fight he was in, with another feral and once he chased them off and brought him back to his room, fixing him up. Roni even offered him to go back to the streets when he was in good condition but he was only gone for less then 24 hours before coming back, he had been there ever since, that was 5 years a go. he named him sparkey.
He stayed in his room for the rest of the day with sparky laying on his bed because the feral was not allowed to be in the rest of the house so he barley left his room in the first place, and no one came in and he didn't leave, for most of it he didn't care because it was relaxing but as the night time came around he started to get restless, so when Jesse pinged him it was just in time.
Roni didn't have a phone because he smashed it, his foster parents had taken it a way so many times that he just gotten tired of it, smashed it in the drive way, and using the money that he made from ted, under the table of course because they took every thing he made. he bought a set of long range 2 way radios and gave one to Jesse so that they could talk when ever they wanted. they give one to Kory as well but his father found it and dropped it into the lake. He wanted to get the coyote another one but he refused, he didn’t want roni so spend all his money on something that will get fucked up if his father found it once moor.

"how did it go" Jesse asked, Roni laughed "about the same as normal, a slap here or there and grounded for the rest of the school year. and sent to my room with out supper, but that don’t mean shit, i have moor then enough for me and spark to eat. i just thank god that this is my last year for school. what about you" "as i predicted, mother grounded me and sent me to bed with no supper, but daddy brought me a plate anyway. but look there's something i wanted to give you. its important, can you sneak out" Roni scoffed "of course i can, the question is can you, the park in 5" Roni sead already piling clothing under his blankets "you know it" Roni pulled on a pare of jeans a t-shirt and light jacket before jumping out the window. he took one last look at things and told sparky to stay there to make it look good before he scampered off down the street to the park a couple blocks a way.
For some reason Roni was the first one there, the park was closer to Jesse. that is why they made it there spot to meet up at night, that way it was less likely that his foster parents would simply stumble upon them. well he waited he laid back on the picnicking table looking up to the sky, watching the stars and clouds float by.
Jessys  face appeared above his, out of no were. the felons bright green eyes looking down at him and a smile on his face "whats ya doing" he asked happily "the same thing i do every night kitten, thinking about the best way to burn the house down with every one in it" Jessys smile faded slightly "really" his head tilted a bit in confusion "95% of the time" he sat up on the table with his foot paws on the bench, Jesse climbed up and sat beside him placing his back pack between his feet.
"sorry i'm late, it took me a bit longer then i would like to admit to crack my fathers passwords, i should have known that it was the date he married mother, mean its so odveis it would be the last thing someone tries,” “but why would you need it" Jesse started digging though his bag "i needed it for this" stopped digging and looked up at him "your 16 right" Roni nodded "good, then i did use the right birthday" he gave Roni a set of papers.
"possession license, carry license and drivers license" he read out loud as he fingered though them, "where did you get these, and what's this" he asked looking at the carry license "this allows you to carry this with you at all times "Jesse gave him a wooden box, it almost looked like a cigar box but this was stained and coated with a clear glaze, there was a brass name plate pinned to the center that had his name engraved on it. "i made the box my self in shop class, because father didn't have the tools for wood working at home, and i haven't worked with mettle since i light the fur on my paws on fire, go on open it"
he flipped the brass latch and opened the lid , in side was another container with a number pad on top, the code was written on a sticky note. it was today's date, with a side note telling him to change it. "for legal reasons it has to be locked up when storing it" he told him. Roni entered the numbers on the note and opened the safe, inside was the Glock 17 that the papers deferred to, with a coal black frame and nickel slide, with 3 matching clips.
"its the same make and model that you used last summer when dad took us to the range, the only difference. this one is new, and the odd custom part" he sad tapping the slide with a claw, “the rounds are hollow points" he slipped a round from one of the mags "so unlike the rounds at the range they will have a bit moor kick, they will also expand when they hit something, fantastic for self defense" he slipped the round back into the mag and slipped it back into the safe. “now you remember how to use it right"
Roni looked over to Jesse before putting an arm around him and pulling him to a hug. no one has ever gave him something so nice or expensive "thanks kitten" he sead before letting go of him "and of course i remember ho to use it, that day on the range was one of the best days of my life, but how did you get the permission slips sine by my foster parents" "well that was the most easy part, William has 5 DUI tickets with his signicher" "five, i thought it was only 3" "i may have added 2 moor to the system, he has a single demerit left, if he gets pulled over one moor time its a automatic 90 days" Jesse laughed "and i bet he wont make it though the weekend" Roni chuckled "as for rose she had a thing for shop lifting. i got there signichers from that and using some fancy computer work i transfer it to the forums, as for yours i got that from the school, same with the photos used on the ID cards. they are good until you turn 18 and then all you have to do is update them, nothing moor"
he looked from the papers to the gun then shook his head "but....but why" he asked "this could get you in to sooooooo much trouble" Jesse sighed "because i worry about you. i am scared that one of these days that prick will really hurt you, at least now if he tries, you have something that will make things a lot moor even" Roni dragged his paw over the weapon "thanks Jess" he kissed him on the cheek making his tail curl and his cheeks blush.
"look i cant stay out to much longer, i know daddy will be checking on me before he goes to bed, making sure i got enough to eat, but here take these as well" he rutted around in his bag once moor taking out a holster and pouch that would hold 2 mags "it beats slipping it down the back of your pants" he zipped up his bag and put it over his shoulder "i....i don’t know what to say" Roni told him but Jesse shook his head and smiled at him "you don’t have to say anything moor then you already have. i just wanted to see that your safe" he gave Roni a hug "sorry i cant stay out longer, tomorrow night if your up to it though"
Roni nodded and thanked him again before Jesse slid off the table and started to hurry home, once he was out of ear shot of the fox he purred remembering the kiss that he gave him. they would have taken things father long a go but they decided that it could complicate there friendship, so they haven't done anything sexual, though that didn’t stop them from thinking about it.
When Jesse go closer to his place he stayed low, he knew where the cameras were and where they were pointing so he had to be careful. when he made it to his bedroom window looked it, it was still dark and the door still closed, he opened the window and slipped back in closing the window silently "Jesse" Jesse almost hissed when he jumped, he landed on his bed turning to the corner of the room his father turned on the lamp "now what did i say about sneaking out of the house" jessy scratched the back of his head "umm, do it silently" his fathers unrepresented expression was enough to make him sigh, he sat at the foot of his bed "sorry daddy but i needed to do something in portent" he reached beside the arm chair and showed him an empty gun case "douse it have anything to do with the missing handgun from the safe. The custom Glock 17 I got you for your birthday" Jesse didn't say anything so his father got off the chair and sat beside his son and rubbed his back "Jess you know I'm not going to be mad if you did something bad for the right reasons, now what did you do with gun" Jesse sighed "i gave it to blue"
"that fox your around all the time" he asked. Jesse nodded "you know what would happen if he gets caught with it, jail time, fines , a record" "i know, i know but i....but i fixed that up to" his fathers eyes widened and he leaned over to see Jessys face a bit better "what....Jesse what did you do" "six months a go, when you got me the Glock i used your work terminal and started the paper work, forged the permission papers and sent it in and it just came back last week and after what happened to night i finalized the position and carry licenses, transfer the Glocks owner ship to blue and registered it for it for carry" "Jesse you know...." "i also added 2 moor DUIs to his foster fathers records and stole his foster parents signichers and used them to forge the permission papers and hacked the schools servers to get blues photo and signicher for the ID cards and drivers permit" his father scoffed "I'm sorry daddy but i was worried about him, them step parents of his. they hit him all the time, ground him left and right and send him to his room with out anything to eat allllll the time, I'm....I'm afraid that one of these days they will really hurt him. i just wanted to give him a fighting chance is all" he started sobbing lightly.
His father sighed rubbing Jessys back, "oh Jess, you have a heart of gold but one of these days its going to get you into trouble....but....but not today" Jesse looked up at his father "but you have to promise me that you wont ever, and i really mean ever do something like this again. i mean why didn't you just come to me in the first place, i could have done something about it" Jesse shook his head "no....no you couldn't if you did something they would separate blue and his brother, if they end up in legal trouble it would only make things worse" "i know what you mean but look, it stops here OK, i understand that you want to protect the ones you care about but if this back fires, you could end up doing time and i don’t want to loose you like that, so this is the way its going to go from now on, were just going to act as if nothing happened, and when you feel the need to help your friend then you come right to me." Jesse nodded "good, now its way past your bed time, and you have school in the morning" Jesse nodded once moor before getting up, he gave his father a hug and whipped his eyes clean. Jesse got into bed and his father tucked him in and kissed him on the forehead "get some sleep Jess" "thanks daddy" "of course son" he left the room. Jesse had no problems going to sleep after that, his father really put him at ease.

Roni was not expecting to bring anything home so he didn't bring anything to carry the things that Jesse gave him, so to make things moor easy he just clipped the holster and mag holster to his side, he put a clip into the gun and holstered it along with the clips, he folded the papers up small and placed them in his back pocket leaving him with only the box to carry.
Before he left though rested for a bit, once moor looking up at the stars, he figured that Koda and spark would be sleeping peacefully so he didn't need to rush back plus laying back and watching the stars relaxed him, but maybe a little to much because he didn’t hear the trouble that was creeping up on him.
Some one grabbed him and pulled him off the table and onto the ground with a thud, though he might have missed the approach he didn't miss the next part, he saw a fist coming down at him and he rolled off to the side and jumped to his feet "Jackson, you sucker punching pice of shit" he sead when he saw just who attacked him "you broke my canine, i will fuck you up" Roni raised his fists to brawl it out but someone grabbed him from behind pinning his arms into his body "squirm all you want, it will just make things worse" Roni knew the voice, it was jacks twin brother James.
even though Roni fought to get free he was unable to but well he was held in place Jackson started hitting him in the stomach, he got 4 hits in before he saw a white blur take jack down to the ground. when looked it was sparky, he collided with jack knocking him down in the confusion Roni stomped on James's foot paw and rammed the back of his head into his muzzle making him let go.
he swung around hitting the wolf in the jaw with his elbow, when he went down Roni herd a yelp from sparky making him turn on a dime, he saw Jackson getting to his feet with a switch blade in his paw, blood dripping from its blade and sparky on the ground.
"stupid animal" jack sead kicking dirt on sparky "now as for you" he sead setting his sights on Roni twirling the knife in his paw. Roni saw red, pure anger filling his eyes he pulled the gun from its holster and aimed for Jacksons head "make your move. So I can drop you where you stand" Jacksons eye zeroed in on the gun, he did take another step. "last chance to get out of my sight, because if he dies, I'm coming for you, your family and every last mammal you could possibility care about, and you will watch them die" Jackson hesitated so he fired a round into the dirt at his feet, spraying him with dirt, enough to show that it was infarct real and loaded.
jack dropped the knife and ran off, tail between his legs and dragging his brother with him, when jack was gone Roni rushed to sparkeys side placing his paw on the wound, "fucking knifes" he sead shaking his head. he had been stabbed in the hind leg, the knife was not big and it didn't go to deep, but that didn’t stop Roni from crying and panicking using the sleeve of his t-shirt as gauze to stop the bleeding "I'm so, so sorry spark" Roni sead wiping his face with his shoulder "this is all my fault, please be OK, please" he started to shake "i....i got to get you home" he striped his jacket from his back and wrapped sparky up before scooping him up in his arms and ran home, almost running in to parked cars and light posts.

once he made it home he he didn't even climb though the window he leaped and ducked in, laying sparkey on his bed and started tossing things left and right to get to the vet bag he had for his summer job as the vets assistant. once he reached it he flopped it onto the bed next to spark and wiped his eyes so that he could see what he was doing. "you....you will be OK," he covered the wound with fresh compress "please don’t leave me" he applied presser and used his free paw to dig thought the bag garbing a needle with pain killers and jabbed him, and tossed it to the side. Grabbing the stitch kit he removed the compress "don’t take him from me" he sead shaving the wound with one swift swipe of the razer and tossing that aside to "i cant,,,,i cant go on with out you" he ripped the stapler from its package using 3 before tossing that aside with the others and placed a new compress over the wound and held it there as he cried blaming him self for what had happened.
sparky was out from the drugs, so well sparky laid at the foot of the bed Roni stayed on his knees and leaning over sparky crying his eyes out still holding the cotton pad in place.
Hours later sparky hadn't moved, he was in the same spot, Roni shook his head thinking the worst had happened "no, no, no" he shook the him with both paws to wake him.
Ronis sobbing is what woke sparky up from the drugs, when he lifted his head he looked around fox sitting on the floor crying in to his paws, pleading to have him back, he couldn't bare to see the fox in this state. he forced him self to his feet, even though they were unsteady "please, stop this stop this right now" he sead limping to the edge of the bed "I'm....I'm OK" sparky spoke softly getting off the bed but Roni was still crying blaming him self for what had happened. nothing he sead was getting though to him so this time with heat he screamed “ITS NOT YOUR FAULT”
This time it got a response, he looked up but looked towards the window and to the door not thinking about looking at the feral that layed on the edge of the bed. His ears swiveled around looking for the source.
"who, whose here" Roni sead whipping his eyes and looking up, the only things there was him and sparky, no one elts was there "you....you understood me" he nodded staring at him. “about damn time, I thought I was going to have to nip you” Roni didn’t know what to say or do he just sat there staring at him, but when he did brake his trans he sead "fuck it" wrapping his arms around sparky neck "i....i thought i lost you" he herd the feral lightly chuckle "I'm, I'm not going anywhere" he sead rubbing his head ageist Ronis
sparky faltered, almost falling to the ground but Roni kept him from falling to the ground "ohh, spark....are, are you OK" he scooped him up in his arms and layed him on the bed, worry coming back to his mined "your....your OK, i....i will..." sparky nudged Roni with his nose once he was laying down agean "I'm, I'm OK, I'm just week" Roni glanced to the pile of things he discarded "the....the morphine" he sead softly "its the drugs, there must still be some in your system" he grabbed the empty single dose single use needle "i...i forgot i gave it to you" he tossed it off the side of the bed looking down "you, you were just passed out. i....i though that you...." Roni sighed "i was to distraught to...." Roni stopped when sparkey rested his head on Ronis leg "please don't get sad again, i, i don't like seeing you like that" "I'm....I'm sorry spark. i....i just don't know what i would do with out you. your the only one that....i can count on to be here for me" he licked Ronis paw "you, you should rest, i think we both do" Roni nodded "i....i think that would be best, can....can i move you"
sparky nodded and Roni scooped him up once moor and layed him at the top of the bed and rested his head on the extra pillow, he checked his wound, placing a new compress on his leg to stop some slight bleeding, still a tear came to his eye as he held it there. he placed the gun on the side table so it wasn’t sticking into his side well he lied next to sparkey, his back ageist his chest that way he could hold the compress in place. not long after he placed his head on the pillow he soon passed out, silent for what was left of the night. only to be woken up by the door bell early in the morning.

Roni was sleeping pretty well when the door bell rang, waking him up almost insistently but it was his fathers voice raining though the house that made him jump out of bed. He scanned his room but sparky wasn’t there, he scratched his head before he left him room wondering if last night was a dream or not.
when Roni turned the corner he saw a feline cop standing in the door way and his father with his paws on his hips "what the hell did you do now you little shit" "i didn't do fuck all, how can i. i don’t get the chance to" he rolled his eyes, "don’t role your eye at me you little shit" he thumbed at the cop "he wants to talk to you" Roni shrugged "what ever" he sead walking to the door
The first thing that he noticed was that he was not your average uniformed cop he was wearing a suit like uniform, it was jessys father.
"do you have any firearms son" "guns, where the hell would he get a gun" ronis father mocked but the cop wasn’t paying any attashin to him only roni "ugh fine" going back to his room. A moment later he came back with the weapon and the paper work that jessy had given him the night before expecting that he was going to take it all back.
"what....where....where did you get that" he sead when he saw it but when he walked over and tried taking it from Roni the officer rushed in "stop" he sead with an out stretched arm blocking him from getting closer to Roni "now this only involves your son" he held his paw out and Roni passed it to him, it was still in the holster "please come with me son" the officer escorted Roni from the house to the police car that sat on the street well his father stood there in the door way, moor angry then ever before.
the feline placed the weapon on the hood of the car and asked Roni for the mags so he handed them over as well. "first of all, i just want to tell you that your not in trouble....yet" he paused for a second “do you know who I am” roni nodded “your jessys dad” he crossed his arms and leaned on the car “so this is where you tell me that you don’t want me around him anymore” he chuckled with a smile “no, and even if I did it wouldn't make a difference, Jess would do what ever he could to defy me on that one”
He grabbed the note book from his vest “now i already know how and why you got this paper work and weapon and as it stands its all legal, but tell me, whose blood is on this knife and did you discharge that last night" reaching into the front seat of the car he placed a couple bags on the hood, one being a bloody knife and empty shell casing and a wooden box that jessys gave him.  "fine, come with me then" he sead annoyed
he placed the evidence bags and gun back into the car and followed Roni around to the side of the house where his bed room window was, “yes I shot the gun last night and no not at someone, it was at there feet and the blood is his” he opened the gate and called for sparky, when he came around the corner limping he saw the cop, he stopped and sniffed at the air, "its OK boy come on" he slowly came out looking the cop up and down before coming to Roni, placing himself completely between him and the felon
"there's your source of blood" he pointed at the wound he had stapled "and it was a warning shot, he ran off like the bitch he has always been" the cop leaned over seeing the wound "you took it to the vet already" Roni scoffed "O'Neal might be one of the best vets i know but i wouldn't disturb him for something that small" "you know the vet then" "i think i just sead that" he sead crossing his arms "a bit of a smart ass aren't you" "only to authority figures" this made Mr. Anderson chuckle "so I've herd, well no one has come foreword with a complaint about being shot at, who was it that you…."  i can deal with my own problems, now is there any thing elts, because I'm not giving you a name"
Mr. Anderson sighed "well if that's how you want it to be, as long as the blood comes back as feral I will call for the case to be dropped" he wrote something down on his note pad and passed it to Roni "this is my cell number, any time night or day you can call me" he gestated to the car. Roni closed sparky in the back yard and he followed.
He grabbed the things from the car and walked beside him back to the house "look i understand why Jess did this for you, I pulled up your fathers rap sheet before coming over but you have to understand what could happen if you use this, I will cover the best I can but if they dig deep they will uncover what was done and all of us will be in deep shit" he sead softly as they walked to the door, and roni nodded "now just play along" the officer stopped in-front of the door, his paw on ronis shoulder
"I'm sorry to bother you so early in the morning, there was an incident in the park last night and we found this box with your sons name on it, he tells me he forgot it there a couple days a go and i believe him" he gave Roni the box "as for the firearm its registered to him so its legal" he placed the gun and clips on the box, "don’t worry I will take care of it" his father reached over to take it but Mr. Anderson blocked his paw
"I'm sorry but only do you not have a license, your forbidden to have in your possession a firearm so if you take it I will have no choice but to arrest you” his father retracted his paw and Roni attached the holster to his right side and placed the clip holster behind his back and Mr Anderson gave Roni the papers back "remember to keep them on you when you carry that" the feline sead pointing at the weapon "no shit." Roni sead snatching the cards from the felons paw "now, you asked your questions i told you fuck off so when are you going to, you know, fuck off" Roni waved his paw towards the car. “watch it fox” he sead crossing his arms or I will hall your ass down to the stashin” roni rolled his eyes and turned to leave shaking his head.
he sat on his bed and placed the cards into his wallet and tucked it into his back pocket, when he herd the front door close he herd foot steps coming down to his room, the swung open and is father stood in the door way, he snapped his fingers and held his paw out "hand it over, now" "not going to happen, this was a gift and i intend to keep it. you take everything elts from me this I'm keeping" his father growled "i sead now" Roni shook his head once moor.
He took a step towards him and Roni roiled back on the bed and got to his feet on the other side "stay a way from him" sparky sead jumping though the window growling "and you think I'm scared of that" sparky snapped his teeth and growled. A second later a dozen or so snarling ferals jumped though Ronis window, surrounding him, making it impossible for William to get near him. "i think you better leave" Roni sead crossing his arms trying not to be as surprised as his father was.
"what the fuck is this" he demanded stepping back "friends, now get out of my room, before they drag your ass out and bury you in the back yard" his father was pissed, way moor pissed off then he had ever seen him but not only was he out numbered he was also out gunned, and it was not going to change anytime soon. so he did what he was best at and turned around slamming the door behind him, Roni waited until he herd his fathers noisy ass truck start he was able to drop the act "OK what the hell is going on" he asked scard and backing into the corner.

Sparky stepped off the bed limping worse then before "damn it that hurt" he sead turning to lick at the wound "hey, stop that" Roni told him "it wont heal" Roni bent down to check the wound "you ripped a staple out" he sead grabbing for the vet bag and grabbing another stapler and ripping open the package "you have to take it easy OK, you don’t want me doing this again" he placed the staple gun to the wound and "I'm sorry pup but this is going to hurt, i cant give you moor drugs, with out overdosing, you ready" sparky nodded and Roni pulled the trigger making sparky give off a sharp yelp "like i say, you don’t want me to do it again" he squatted down and ran his paws though sparkeys ear fur "now can you tell me what's going on" he asked quietly scanning the room and counting 23 eyes staring at him "white, 23" he sead to him self
Roni placed sparky in the bed and sat next to him taking a couple things from the bag to clean and treat the wound on his leg well the other ferals of differing breeds sat all around his room, looking closely at what he was doing.
well Roni slept that night sparky left and went back to his pack to fiend out what had happened the night before. Not an easy thing to do because he left it 5 years ago and never came back till then. But every pack has elders the older and wiser of them all, with memory's that had been passed down from generation to generation before they passed. that is why sparky went back, to get there wisdom. and fiend out why Roni was able to understand him and not just him all ferals. they didn't tell him much other then bring Roni back to the den, they wanted to talk to him them self s. they had sent a group of ferals to make sure that he was escorted safely, that was why they had intervened when they figured that Roni was in danger.
When sparky finished explaining Roni was a bit confused about why they wanted to see him in person, why couldn't they just tell sparky what was going on. that's when one of the other ferals stepped foreword, a golden retriever named buddy.
"they requested you because the information that they hold is not offered to just anyone, they have to protect some of that information from the packs around the world, they are some of the rare ones that know our entire history from now to the beginning of time. some of that is not meant for use to know"
As he was talking Roni noticed that he was glancing at what he was doing to sparky, "you can come take a closer look if it will make you feel better" Roni told him "and if i deiced not to go" he added when the golden got closer to see what he was doing "you....you will be...." he stared at the wound for him it seamed wired having the fur missing and 3 shiny mettle things across the cut, what was even moor wired to him was the liquid that Roni was putting on the cotton pad and taping the wound "what's that stuff" he asked sniffing at it "peroxide, it cleans the wound, you were saying" "oh....yea you will be forced to go if you don’t go willing. when the elders give orders the alpha follows and we follow them....is it hurting him" he looked up at Roni "it....it can sting a little....also if you think you can get me to go somewhere by force then your welcome to try, I mean bigger mammals then you have tired and failed in the past”
he chuckled tossing the used gauze to the side "tell him spark" sparky shook his head "yea, he don’t exactly do orders, but buddy is also right. it would be good if you talked to the elders. they might be able to shed some light on why this has happened, they seamed concerned you could be in danger" Roni could hear the worry in his voice making him gently sigh "fine, i will do it for your sake" Roni sead gently rubbing his head "thanks" sparky tried to get up but Roni gently held him down "and where do you think your going" Roni sead sternly "with you" Roni laughed "i don’t think so, you need to rest that leg, if you rip out another staple I'm tieing you to the bed" "then you had better kill me because it will be over my dead body when i let you go to that shit hole alone" buddy stared at sparky, "don’t look at me like that, there's a reason i left the pack and that reason hasn’t changed" "you know what happened had nothing...." "i don’t care" sparkey sead sharply "I'm already regretting going to the elders with this in the first place, I'm not going to let him go into that place alone" he got to his feet slowly "fine but if your leg starts hurting, I'm carrying you, and I'm taking this with just in case. He sead closing up his med kit and draping it on his shoulder.
Roni got to his feet and left though the front door of the house, thankful his mother had taken Koda to school because it would have been off putting if he showed up surrounded in ferals.

There den turned out to be a old apartment building that was closed down in the 80s for unsafe living conditions., it was located 12 blocks a way near he edge of town, not that it was a bit deal to get there but half way there Roni scooped up sparky because he was limping moor then normal and wouldn't tell Roni that he was hurting, so when he was not paying atanshin he scooped him up in his arms and made carried him around his neck like a fashion accessory embarrassing him. Roni had told him that if he would have just told him he would have carried him differently, even with the combined weight of spark and the medical bag he didn't put him back on the ground until they got to were heading.
From the street it looked like a run down apartment block, but as they got closer he could tell that something was not what it seemed. The smell got stronger and stronger as he got closer.
The lobby of the building was completely packed with them at the very least 60 that he could see and moor hidden in the rooms. “Jesus Christ” he whispered under his breath seeing them all, he had never seen this many in one place at once, it was kinda amazing but also a little uncovertebral because they stared at him as if he was there next meal or there next chew toy.
As they walked bast them roni was getting looks, some he was sure was pure hate “why….why are they looking at me like that” roni asked spark quietly “why do I get the feeling they want to rip me to shreds” sparkey was looking from side to side his tail was stiff “lots of these guys come from masters that abused them, some worse then others. They have have one reason or anther to hate your kind, they would like nothing moor then to rip you to shreds and drag your body out back, but you have nothing to worry about you’re here on request of the elders, they would not dare harm you. If they did, they would be bashed from the pack if not killed” “Jesus” “still though, they would have to get past me to harm you. They know better then that”
Roni didn’t say anything after that, he didn’t know what to say so he just followed the golden retriever that brought them there up the steps to the top floor, and to the farthest of the rooms.
He was told to wait in the hall way with sparkey well the golden retriever went in first, he leaned ageist the wall in silence until he saw sparkey ears perk and he looked back down the hall where they came from, they were being approached by a tan and black shepherd, when she got close sparkey looked a way from her and continued to stare at the door that buddy went though. She stopped and glanced up at roni then to spark “ghost, your, your so clean….I never thought I would see the day” he voice was soft and gentle, “how are you doing” sparkey didn’t respond, he didn’t even look over at her and when he didn’t she sighed “ghost please, I just….” “don’t….just don’t” sparkey finely looked back to her “I don’t want to hear it, what's done is done” she looked down to the floor “if I knew what your brothers were going to do….” “you did know, the whole pack knew. They set me up and you did nothing”
Roni stared down at this not knowing what to say or do but he hadn't seen sparke this agitated, the furl on his back was standing on end and his tail was as ridged as a 2X4
“gost I….” “no mother, i'm done, i'm done with this pack, and i'm done with you. And once this is over i'm not coming back again, ever” ronis ears perked when sparkey sead mother “im, i'm sorry son” she sighed and slowly walked past them and into the room that buddy went in her head hung low. Sparkey shook his head and snorted in anger before staring at the door once moor.
Before roni could react buddy came out into the hall way “you can go in now” and sat beside the door roni nodded and walked in beside sparkey “hey, its not….” sparkey growled at him shutting him up instantly.
Unlike the other rooms this one was farley clean and the floor was covered in pillows and other soft items, and unlike the rest of the place there was less ferals around. 7 including sparkey mother. They layed on the piles of pillows watching as they came in and stood in front of them.
Sparkey nodded to a black gait Dane that layed in the center of them all “that’s the elder” roni could see that she was old, the fur on her face was going white, she would also shake and shiver like she was cold but that couldn't be because it was pretty warm summer “ghost” she sead softly with a gentle nods of her head “elder” sparkey sat on his hunches “how are you doing my dear” “lets get to the point” she nodded “as you wish” she turned to look at roni “so you’re the one that has the ability to understand us” he nodded in response “what douse it mean elder, why have you summed him here” sparkey asked softly

the grate Dane took a minit to get to her feet, her legs wobbled, her walk was stiff but she sat in the same place that the black shepherd sat in "it is nice to finely meet you" she sead softly "i'm sur that....that your wondering....one second" she closed her eyes and she started to wobble a bit till she almost fell over. Roni rushed foreword catching her. Making the entire room bust out in growls and teeth Roni pulled his gun to stop them from attacking him. "easy now, easy are you OK" he asked when the Dane recovered, she nodded "just a little dizzy dear, i will be OK" Roni let her go when she was able to sit on her own "get a way from her" the black shepherd sead growling and slowly approaching. he aimed the gun at her "jade, please. if this fox was to hurt me, i'm sure that he would have by now, please return to your position" the black shepherd glared at Roni before she returned to where she was before, "you can put that thing a way young fox, you will not be needing it" he holstered his gun and stepped back
"douse that happen often" Roni asked squatting down in front of her "now this is not why your here" Roni shrugged "it is now" he let the bag he brought with him to help sparky if he needed it, slide off his shoulder and to the ground "he can help, and he can talk at the same time" buddy sead from the back of the room
he took a small light from the bag "this will be bright" he sead truing the light on and flicking it across her eyes, making them dilate. before he could turn off the light it hit something shiny by her ear. he turned her head and lifted up her ear and shined the light in "oh wow" he sead truing the light off "i'm surprised you can even hear me" Roni sead before digging in the bag pulling out some cotton swabs "we don’t use our ears to communicate" she told him he rested his paws on his legs "tell me if you can hear this then" he slapped his paws together right by her ear, she shook her head "how about this" "just barely" she sead he rubbed her ears gently "douse your ears ich" "consistently" he looked at the swab "your ears are almost blocked by mites" he dropped the swab next to the bag before digging though it again taking out an eye dropper and a small tube
"ear mites can cause itchy ears, hearing loss, dizziness and in sever cases brain damage. this will help" he held up the vile "its olive oil" he warmed it in his paws before he placed 2 drops in each ear "but its only temporary" he broke the top off the small tube and emptied the contents on the back of her neck and rubbed it in "this will kill the mites, its quite strong so it only takes one use, they will be gone in a day or 2" he tossed the empty tube and "this feel weird, but i got to move your head around OK" she nodded and Roni covered both her ears with his paws and tilted her head slowly from left to right a couple times before letting go. she sat there with out moving for a second before looking up at him surprised "the itch its slowly going a way" she sounded surprised she even stood and shook like she was wet, sending small amounts of liquid from her ears spraying around.
Roni chuckled and smiled as she sat back down in front of him "the oil will loosen the mites hold" he sead placing 2 moor drops in each ear "it will releave a bit well the medicine starts to work" Roni put the oil a way "once the ear mites die off your hearing could clear up to" he looked in to her ears once moor with the light, they were draining like they should with the oil, he wiped it up with a gauze pad "better" he asked her softly "yes" she responded. he smiled well he zipped up the bag putting the strap back over his shoulder.
when he stood up she did to, walking around a bit before she returned and sat back down in the same spot hr tail slightly waging. he turned to go back next to sparky when he noticed that all of them were staring at him intently making him stop "what" he asked looking around he continued till he was in front of sparky he squatted down and scratched his head, he licked his face "thank you" he sead softly "you know its just something that i do spark" Roni turned to face the Dane once moor "and scratching sparkeys head "well, lets get this over with" Roni sead
“of coarse, but before I can tell you what this could mean I must tell you about a legend from our kind, of how bipeds came to be what they are. mother earth came forth and told us, a male member of our kind would breed with a mammal that walked up right. and would bring forth a new gerashin of mammal. even though we were to remain unchanged we would be joined with this upright mammal in a sacred bond that could with stand the lands of mother earth. we were to protect and serve together for mother earth side by side until the day would pass that mother earth would once again come forth and and offer us a new challenge.
“when this first happened many years back we could communicate with ease but as time moved on the bipeds had violated our bond and mother earth severed the connection between us and told us that it would remain broken. one day though when a conflict was brewing a mammal would be born with this ability intact to lead us and guide us as the battle consumed the planet, making them the alpha, and us there soldier for the up coming battle"

Roni huffed and rolled his eyes. "a war, me being able to understand you means a war is coming" the Dane shrugged "could be coming and that's what the legends say. but that's just what they are, legends. there is no way to know if they are true or not" "may i intervene" the black shepherd asked lowering her head. the Dane nodded in response and she sat off to the side "i don’t know what the legends say but an upcoming conflict, could that have anything to do with the possible rebellion" every one seamed to know what they were talking about except Roni "that could be a possibility" the elder Dane sead softly "you don’t think that it would come to fruition do you" "what the are you talking about" Roni asked confused "what rebellion, the quarrels decided to attack instead of being a pain in the ass" they all looked at him "no, they will always taunt us, attacking anyone would be the worst mistake. no we are talking about our kind in general, there has been a rebellion growing for many years now, full of mammals, avian reptiles and so much moor that think attacking your kind will solve the many problems, where some of us think it will just destroy what's left of mother earth. this pack douse not this to happen because we think it will only make things a lot worse. But there's fewer and fewer of us each year, they are recruiting right from the source, pets that have been treated badly by there bipeds"
“we out number your kind so they think it will be a easy task but your kind has proven its self to be a stronger then you look, this is why some don’t want this, because it would be a conflict to extension destroying mother earth in the poses, and if we destroy her there will be nothing left to give us life" "maybe you were born with your ability in tact, because you can talk to both sides you can  stop this from happening" buddy sead looking at Roni
Roni started laughing, so hard in fact that he fell to the ground and having to hold his sides because of the pain he was experiencing. for a solid five mints he laughed his ass off his eyes watering and almost peeing him self but he finely started to come back to his senses well the others stared at him with a mix of confusion and annoyance, “that’s….that’s the worst ides I have ever herd”  because if he was to tell anyone that he could understand them, not only would they not believe him they would lock him up in a place with padded walls and white sheets. and he would never ever get out. He sat up in the floor whipping the tears from his eyes and holding his stomach
"so yea, if this is the conflict that this legend is talking about then were truly fucked, because its going to happen, also i'm sure that i would not be the first to CLAME that i can understand you, and you know what happened to them" Roni shook his head "no one douse because they were put in the damn nut house to never be herd from again" Roni chuckled "and lets say, on the off chance, they do believe me, they would use every piece of military equipment at there disposal to start whipping you out first, I would not advise that”
They exchanged looks of concern “before the Dane lowered her head “I only wish I understood moor about what this means, there's a couple reasons, but we cant let this go right now until we know what is going on” “douse that mean I can go now” he gestured to the door behind him. She nodded “for now yes, we will call on you again if we figer this out, i will see what I can fiend anything elts out” “I guess, I can do that” he felt sparkey get a little ridged, he didn’t want to come back here and roni know that.
“before you leave though I want to take some preemptive steps, according to legend your now considered a alpha, your word will hold power amongst the ranks of our kind that being said your pretty much the leader of us all right now” the others looked at her “hey….wow hold up there, I didn’t ask for this” roni waved his paws “this also makes you a target for the ones that would like to see a conflict come to terms” she continued “like us they may think you could put a stop to it and may try to convince you or even try to force you to lead them in the event of a conflict was too brake out. So you need to be alert and ready in case something like that happens” roni sighed “I want to send along 2 of my strongest to keep watch over you” “what, no, hell no I can take care of my self and there's no force on earth or heaven that could make me do something I don’t want” she stared at him “your….your going to do it anyway aren't you” roni huffed “fine, fine but I get to choose who stalks me” he was defeated no mater what so he thought he could make the best of it
“agreed then, I will have vex assemble my strongest” she nodded to sparkeys mother, and she ran off “until then your free to wander, I my self have to rest, until next time” the elder got to her feet and slowly left first, the rest followed right after, when it was just roni and sparkey left in the room roni sighed and leans back on his paws “this….this is not going to get any better is it” he asked “no, not at all” he scratched sparkeys head “lets get some air pup” he got to his feet and dusted off the loose fur and headed for the door followed closely by spark.
 
They got to the ground floor when he flooded by little ones. All the pups in the building flocked around him asking him questions, trying to get him to play, and trying to convince him to take them on a trip outside the den because they were not allowed. what ever it was they were curios about they didn't hesitate to ask, all at once on that. Roni tried to tell them all what they wanted to know and even picked them up to carry them around but he soon had to go, they were not going to let him get a way that easy and when he tried to look to sparky for assistance, he had no intentions of getting close, because of the likely hood that they would start swarming him next, roni had never saw him so scared in his life.
He couldn't get a way from the carpet sharks until vex came down the steps and sent them back to there parents for there naps, they whined and cried but when she gave a bit of a growl they moved fast, roni once moor had to dust him self off from the dirt and loose fur “little shit heads” with a chuckle “I have gathered some of our top guards, they are out front” roni nodded, sparkey of course seand nothing “but before you go, may….may I have a word” sparkey stopped in his tracks and roni hesitated but sparkey told him that he would wait for him out front and continued on out the front doors well roni sighed going out the back into an overgrown parking lot with vex.
What used to be the parking lot was now over grown and enclosed with trees and grass, it made sense since the apartment building was abandoned in the mid 80s and deemed unsafe so no one has been there in years. The tarmac was speckled with blood, fur and scratch marks, it looks as if there was a lot of fighting going on there. Roni had saw similar things in dog fighting rings he helped get shut down in the past, the only difference was the lack of betting slips and stands.
They walked around a bit before she turned around to face him, she looked up at him and met his gaze “I want to ask you something and I want you to tell me the truth, no bull shit or beating around the bush” roni shook his head “look lady, I don’t know what happened five years ago, and I don’t want to know, not from you. If spark chooses to tell me what happened then so be it, and on top of all that I cant and wont tell you anything about him. Because that’s for him to do, the only thing I can tell you is that he is safe, healthy and as fare as I can tell he is happy where he is. Other then that there's nothing I can tell you” he crossed his arms “so unless there is something other then that you want to know, feel free to ask a way” she nodded “I, I understand. Trust is hard to come by, and I can already tell that your loyal to the ones that you care about” “and you better bet that I care about him moor then anyone will ever understand”
“ghost was one of the best fighters this pack had, he is strong and loyal but he is also shares the same blood that runs though my body, and the only pup I have left. All I want to know is that you have hos best interests at heart, that if push comes to shove you will protect him with everything you have” roni could only scoff at the remark “trust me when I say that I would give my life for his, if it was not for him I would likely not even be here. So yes I do have his best interests at heart, to say anything elts would be insulating” roni scratched the back of his head “look I wont promise you anything, but I will think about keeping you informed about how he's doing OK. Other then that there's nothing elts I can really help you with” “thank you for a least talking with me, I know that he didn’t like that idea, I guess we should get back now, he will be rearing to go” as they walked back to the building she stopped once moor “take buddy” she sead with out looking back at him “what do you mean” “just trust me, no mater who you pick to take with you rose will have you watched every day all day. you did me a solid just now and so i'm just returning the favor, you will be doing both of them a favor” roni nodded followed her though the apartment to the front.
Roni was presented with some of the top quality guard dogs, from rottys to pits to Dobermans and even another couple shepherds but roni decided to take vex up on her recommendation. He took buddy, a choice that surprised every one there buddy included, he even explained to him that he was no good in a fight or anything dangerous, but even though he tried roni still picked him. The guards that rose sent for angerly stormed off when roni told them that his mined was made up, one of them though stopped and faced him “let me get this right you really want a dirty blood like that instead of one of us”
Roni didn’t have a clue what that meant but he took it as it being a insult “the fuck you just call him” his paw clenched “PATCH, GO NOW” vex screamed “your defending it” “I told you to go back to your post” vex came up beside roni “unless you want to end up in the pits once moor and this time you wont be getting out” he looked from roni to her then to buddy, “what ever, a least we wont have to look at it anymore” he stomped back into the building “what an ass” roni sead shaking his head
Vex glanced up at him and gave him a look like, the I told you so sorta thing before she went back to buddy and and rested her head on his “I will miss you, but maybe this is for the better, this fox is different” “I will miss you to mom, I will visit when ever I can”
When they parted buddy stood next to the fox well vex approached spark, she whispered something to him before returning back inside, this time though he watched her go, what ever she told him made him watch her leave but when he saw that both roni and buddy were watching him he shook it off “I want to get out of here” roni nodded “of course” and they started walking back home.
They walked in silence the entire way back to the house, where roni walked though the house passing his father on the sofa with out saying a word and went straight to his room and flopped down onto the bed, he was tired and for good reason, being woke up at the ass crack of dawn and heading to the edge of town and back,  was a bit moor then he wanted. “well I don’t know….about you 2 but i'm going to get some sleep” his words were muffled into the pillow. Spark climbed up onto the bed and curled up beside him like he always did, buddy was not sure where he was sopost to be but his job was to watch over him so he laid on the floor next to the bed but kept a ear open for any sound well he rested.

After a couple hours of sleep he was woken up by his alarm, a reminder to go get koda from school, allowing him to get there five mints before the bell rang, to signal the end of the day. Because of the things that happened the day before he was no longer allowed on school grounds for the rest of the year, so he just had to wait on the side walk for his little brother to get out.
When koda saw him he came running, jumping up so Roni would carry him. when he put him back down he gave sparky a hug to, he stopped though when he noticed buddy there as well, he pointed and asked “whose doggies”. Roni shrugged but all he could come up with was that he was a friend of sparks that here to visit for a bit, Being 6 it was an easy sell.
Roni had told buddy all about Koda on the way, and that he would want to pet him, he was OK with that part. he was just not used to being touched by anything other then his own kind so sparkey had told him how to avoid him. running in a circle, it would make Koda fall on his butt allowing him to get free, he has to do it a time or two a week to get a way from him when he gets to annoying. sparkey also added that if he was to hurt him, roni would likely toss him in a meat grinder and feed him to the homeless, he was just a puppy after all.

They waited for jessy and Kory before they started on there way back, Roni carried Koda on his shoulders as they walked. Of course he had to tell them what had happened the night before,
then Roni had to lessen to him grumble about his safety for the rest of the way, though Kory had to brake off sooner then he wanted to because he was working hard on his finales, so he sead his good byes and started heading to his place leaving the others, Jesse only shook his head wondering why he was so worried about school, there was moor then enough time to study.

both his foster parents were home when they got there, he placed Koda on the ground and he ran up the driveway and into the house well roni and jessy stood there for a bit.
"so, what are you going to do about Jackson" Jesse finely asked "he actually pulled a knife on you, and stabbed spark. what's stopping them from bringing a gun next time" roni shook his head "not like they would get close enough to try" Roni looked behind him "vex assigned a attack pack to watch your every move. They are waiting for your order to engage, if your unable to signal they will move in" Jesse waved his paw in front of Ronis face "hey, you still with me"
Roni scanned the area around him, since spark brought it up became pretty easy too see. "i knew something was following us" "what the hell are you talking about" Jessy asked looking around “who's following us”
"ummm...." Roni scratched the back of his head, thinking about just what he should tell him, the truth or make something up.
"look there's something i should tell you, but I know for a fact that your not going to believe me" Jesse scoffed "what would make you think that" "well....i can talk to to them" he gestated to sparky and buddy. Jesse leaned over to see sparky and buddy looking up at him "now apparently, i might be part of some kind of legend, some upcoming conflict of some sort" Roni shrugged "and apparently the local pack thinks i need to be protected at all costs, and there alpha, his mother. is making a small pack follow me every where I go, now, I call it stalking, they call it nessery"
Jesse stared intently at him before he busted out laughing, holding his sides. Roni crossed his arms and gestured to jessy, with that i told you so expression all over his face.  "you....you might want to....to return the ba….bad drugs. that's....that's a good one" he continued for a bit after that before he could stop. “you finished” roni asked shaking his head. “yes” he he sead picking up his bag “but come on you really expect me to believe that. Hell if they could talk we all would be fucked, the the things that they would know about us” he chuckled “anyway I better get going, I want to ge this home work done for the weekend, so we can actually do something” he gave roni a quick hug before taking off down the side walk shaking his head.
Roni looked down at sparky and buddy "and he, is my best friend, he knows i would never lie to him" he shook his head "and you guys wanted me to tell everyone. you see now that's what my kind calls funny" he shook his head. "i better go see if Koda has gotten anything to eat yet, i will open the window for you guys" Roni sead heading into the house.
He wiped his feet at the door like he always had and walked up the hall way where he found Koda eating his snack, he brushed his head before digging in the fridge him self but all he wanted was the water. he turned around to see his foster parents sitting in the living room watching TV like it was a job. he pored him self a glass before he sat next to him at the table
"what's you got there" he asked "fruit, you want some" he asked happily but Roni only chuckled and declined the offer telling him that he is the growing one and that he needed it moor then he did.
He sat with Koda for moment asking him about school and what he did, of course he was moor then happy to tell him everything, and show him the paintings that he did with his own paw pads and the things he made with clay. Roni praised him telling him it was very good and brushed his head fur. and of course he gave it to him to he could hang it up on the wall in his room.
when finished he hurried off to his room to play well Roni cleaned up the mess before heading for his own room. he hoped that he could walk past them with out having to say anything but that hope was dashed. "you were grounded, where were you" rose asked with out even looking away from the TV "i had something in portent to do, i didn't exactly have a choice in the matter, someone has to pick up koda" "well you wont have to worry about that any moor" William added.

Roni turned "what are you talking about" "your out of here, you think you a big man you can go live like one" “you cant do that” roni sead the anger rising “your 16, going on 17, there is no legal obligations here” William tossed  at him a file showing that he has looked into it, it fell to the floor.
He snatched the file off the floor and read though the papers, it seamed to be all legal “if you think this means anything your dead wrong, and if I do go, I will be taking koda with me” “he stays here, we get monthly income for him, you we wont” "you think you can keep me from Koda you got another thing coming" "that's not what the paper work is saying, you can start packing your shit up" Ronis paws curled up into fists "your not taking him" he sead though gritted teeth "oh and what are you going to do about it" rose sead looking up from the TV "lets see you shoot your way out of this one" she added with a smirk on her face
He crumpled up the papers and tossed them on the floor "ohhh, you will be retracting it all by the end of the week....if you enjoy breathing" "you wont do shit" Roni scoffed "and who sead it would be me" he sead heading to his room and opening the window letting sparky and buddy into the house. he kicked his bed and turned to face them "i need a favor" roni asked "who we killing" sparkey sead with out a second thought.

Sparkeys plan was simple but he was going to need help from outside the pack other wise every local feral will be targeted, so sparkey opted for the help of the local the wilds, they would be moor then happy to lend there alpha a paw or two. With there help things would look random and nothing could be traced and with out another thought spark jumped though the window to set things up “remember, mimed not killed” he sead “OK, OK, OK I will try to remember that part” he rolled his eyes when he jumped down.
Roni sat back on the bed thinking about what sparkey truly was planning “you are really going to let wilds attack you mother and father” buddy asked looking up at him “first, they are not my parents, second, let me tell you what the last 10 years of my life has been like” he patted the bed “get settled this might take a while” buddy hoped up on the bed and layed beside roni well he told him what exactly what he has put up with since he was 6.
Sparkey didn’t return until later that night, saying everything was set up for tomorrow. when roni was almost done telling buddy about his life, and then finished he was fully up for what was going on, he even wanted in.

The next day roni left the house with koda to take him to the park to play with jessys brother he passed his foster parents well they were getting ready for there day, jess was all ready outside and waiting for them, so he just passed by them with a smile on his muzzle, “and where the hell do you think your taking him” William asked “to the park, that way he wont see what happens to you over the next 24 hours” Before they could comment on what he just sead he closed the door and headed to the park knowing that they would not make a public seen.

Rose left to go to work not long after roni left, William though he left around noon to get to the bar, as soon as it opened, He was not going to make it there. When he placed his paw on the door handle of the truck he saw something move from the corner of his eye, he turned around to see a coyote standing in the drive way, just looking up at him. he waved his paw “git, get out of here” but the coyote just stood there tilting its head from side to side, like it was confused. “what are you, retarded” he reached into the box of the truck and grabbed a beer can, he crushed it and tossed it at the yote, it landed at its front feet, it didn’t flinch or even blink but it did lower its head and sniff at it before looking back at William.
He shook his head taking a step towards it, when he did that two moor came out from under the truck and grabbed him by the ankles bringing him down to the ground, they bit down as hard as they could, there teeth ripping though the jeans and into his flesh making him scream out. They started to drag him back and under the truck, he tried kicking and using his claws but there combined strength they were able to drag him across the drive way. The last thing he saw before being dragged under the truck completely to be mauled was the 1st coyote still standing there, staring right into his eyes and tilting its head. After that all that could be herd was Williams screams of pain and fear from one end of the block to another, by the time anyone got there, all they found was a bleeding fox under his truck. His attackers were no where to be seen, the only evidence that something was there besides William was the paw marks in blood going out and around the house to the back ally, with all traces of his attackers lost once they hit the dirt on the ally road.

A couple hours later rose received word that her husband was in an accident and she left work to rush to the hospital, she hoped in her car and drove off. She was half way there when she stopped at a red light tapping the steering wheel impatiently when a black bird, a crow landed on the hood of the car. It pecked at the paint making her lower the window and wave at it, but all it did was squawk at her. When it pecked at the paint again she stuck her head out the window and yelled, in a flash a flock of 20 rush into the open window pecking, biting and scratching her up from head to toe. Her screaming caught the attention of near by mammals, they rushed to her aid but as soon as they opened the door to the car the crows rushed out and flew off before they could react. Rose was left bleeding from many wounds all over her body and the car its self was filled with feathers and droppings, she was carted off to the hospital once the EMTs got there.

Roni was at the park all day mostly sitting under the big tree with sparkey close by, they watched as jessy would get swarmed by koda and his own little brother, or they watched as buddy and Simba, jessys yellow lab bounce about, playing and running around. Buddy and Simba had hit it off right a way, friend at first sight just like koda and Sam did when they first met. Roni though, when simba was around acted as though he couldn't understand him, both he and sparkey didn’t want the whole feral world to know about it unless there was good reason.
Every one was having a fun time, there day couldn’t have gone better but when jessys phone started to ring he had to leave the cubs to there thing at the play ground well he ran back to answer it, making him huff and puff when he got there. The phone though was not for him, yes it was his father but he was calling to see if he was with roni, when he told him that he was passed the phone over to him “its, for you” he sead confused
He was calling to tell roni that his parents were involved in a accident and that they were at the hospital, when he replied with a so, so what there was a slight pause before he went on to tell him that they could be there for at least a couple days and that if he needed anything that he was free to call on them. Roni thanked him before hanging up the phone and giving it back to Jess. “well that was strange, what did he want” jessy asked confused but roni only shrugged “meh, nothing much really, apparently William was attacked by a pack of wild coyotes and rose was swarmed by a murder of crows” he glanced real quickly at sparkey before returning to jessy “so nothing important” roni sipped from a can of ice tea like nothing had just happened
Jessy just sat there, his eyes locked on roni, “what….what the hell is with that” jessy asked utterly confused “are they going to be OK” roni shrugged “I expect they will, I mean it was nothing that bad” “do you want to go to the hospital” roni only scoffed “not really no” jessy couldn't believe it, nothing like that has happened before so it was very confusing “well you should at least go see them, maybe they can tell you what happened” he rolled his eyes “OK fine I will go to see them later on, but I can garinte that they wont tell me shit”
Jessy had to sit there for a bit trying to wrap his head around what had happened, when everything that he ran though his head came up with nothing he finally shook his head “that’s, that’s just harsh” “not really, they kida got it coming” roni told him with a flat tone “what if they come back, what if they attack you” “meh, not likely and unlike them I can defend my self” jessy looked out towards the park “what about koda, maybe he can stay at my place well they look for them”
He glanced over to the park as well to see koda chasing sam around shouting that he was going to catch him “I guess that would be OK, do you think your mother could handle a extra” “are you kidding, he loves him. Remember, she always wanted moor cubs father just couldn't do it” “well its up to him and her if they are OK with it then I am”
Jessy had already texted his mother to see if it was OK so by the time that roni agreed she already texted back absolutely, and when the cubs came running back to them for a juice box koda was moor then happy to have a sleep over with sam, he couldn’t be happier. They ran off once moor dragging jessy with them leaving sparkey alone with roni “so coyotes and crows, that’s different” he sead placing a paw on his head “well I was going to send in a cougar but he didn’t want to stop at harm he wanted to kill, I mean it was tempting” roni chuckled “good planning pup” roni told him scratching his head and leaning back ageist the tree “well we will let them play a little longer before we take off” sparkey rested his head on ronis leg “works for me”

They didn’t stay to much longer after that, jessys mother was getting supper on soon and she wanted the little ones to get cleaned up before then so they left right after she texted Jess, he also took koda with him from there so that roni could go to the hospital and told roni that he would stop by later to get kodas things.
roni didn’t even stop off at the house, he went to the hospital straight from the park with buddy and sparkey at his side, he told them it was time for the second part, and told them to be ready for what ever came next because he was thinking this part up as he went, it would all depend on what they had to say and when they were going to act.

At the hospital roni got sparkey and buddy past the security by telling them that they were his parents and they they would like to at least see them before visiting hours were over, they were hesitant but they finally let him though and he went straight to there room, because they were married they were in the same room making things a lot moor easy. He placed his paw on the door handle and looked around before quickly slipping in
they were awake and the only ones there, they were sitting up in there beds watching the TV that was set up in front of them, they had bandages on there arms, neck, and chests, William was even missing part of his left ear, and when Roni walked in they turned to look at him "what the hell are you doing here" he locked the door behind them "and who allowed them in here" William was referring to sparky and buddy. "what, i cant come say hi to my dear old parents" he sead sarcastically walking to the other side of the room and looking out the window "i....just wanted to make sure your OK" he kept the sarcastic tones on his voice as he opened the window. He walked back pulling the chair that was ageist the windows and sitting in between there beds "don’t patronize me you little shit" rose spat
sparky and buddy sat on ether side of the arm char that Roni was in and interlocked his fingers resting his paws on his lap, before he could say anything the PA system cam on "emergency in the lobby, all security please report to the entrance" Roni shrugged  “i  wanted to come and see you, i wanted to know if you were ready to change your minds, you know before things start getting worse" they glanced at each other "were not doing shit, and we were attacked by deranged ferals" "oh you mean them" he pointed to the window, between there beds. As they looked to where he was pointing 3 coyotes busted though the screen and the crows followed suit, the crows lined up on the foot of her bed well the yotes stood on ether side of his the 3 though jumped up on the foot of the bed, staring at him like he did before he was pulled under the truck by the other 2
they grabbed for the call buttons but they didn't work "oh i unplugged the leads when i opened the windows. so they are not working. and you can scream all you want no one will hear you, they are chasing half a dozen or so birds though out the hospital" the looks on there face was enough for Roni to see that they were scared "you see them" he gestated to the ferals around him "you see they, are with me, and they really like to do as i ask, your.…”random” feral attacks” he did the finger quotations just because “were....well they were not so random" he looked over to William "see, i told you i had friends, you should have lissend to me for once" Roni stood up and smiled at them both "now, i really didn't want it to come to this but you brought this on your self's, 10 years of abuse and hate I received was one thing, but when you tried separating Koda and me that’s where I draw the line. did you really think that i would let that happen" "your going to..." Roni snapped his fingers and the coyote jumped on William and growled in his face "its not your turn to talk yet, you will get your turn when its time for that. now i'm only going to offer you this once, you have until Monday to make things right. i don’t care how you do it, as long as it gets done in time" "what makes you think...." Roni snapped his fingers once moor and the and a yote jumped on roses bed and snapped his teeth inches from her muzzle "not your time to talk ether" he sead softly "if its not done by end of bisness Monday you will be ripped to shreds in your own bed. if you try to run i will know, if you divert from normal activity, i will know. i have eyes and ears in the sky on the ground and in the sea, there's no place on this earth you can hide where my friends cant get to you. so what do you say, do we have a deal or do i let them loose on you here and now"

He sat back down in the chair interlocking his fingers and placing his leg over the other resting his paws on his knee, he nodded and the ferals jumped off there beds "60 seconds to decide" he looked at his watch. they once moor glanced at each other, and nodded "go to hell, i'm not doing shit" Roni turned to rose "is that what you think as well" but she didn't ancer, she just glanced at William and when he shook his head she still sead nothing so Roni shrugged “you do realize, I only need one of you to get what I need right, having both of you around just makes things harder. I hope you know that” “go to hell, I knew I should have gotten rid of you. But the sate sead you had to stay together until you were of age. Your as useless now as you were when you first darkened my door step” William tossed the call butten ageist the wall braking it in anger "i guess they needs a little moor time to think” he sighed getting to his feet and moved to the door followed by both sparky and buddy, he unlocked the door and let sparky and buddy go first.
Roni stopped in the door way and turned to face them and once moor asked them what they were going to do but all got was stares from rose and a insult from William, he shook his head and sighed "I honestly wanted this to go a different way o really did” he glanced at the coyotes and the crows “kill him, but only him. Let her see what's coming her way"
the coyotes and crows nodded then started to advance on William "should have taken the easy way" he sead shaking his head and leaving the room. he herd a scream but it was silenced when he closed the door he straighten out his jacket and kept walking.
Roni patted sparkeys head " we can come by tomorrow, maybe they will be feeling better" "lets go then" sparkey sead putting there the leashes in his paw and walking down the halls to the exit, now and then seeing the guards and nurses run from one room to another chasing the birds making him chuckle "looks like some birdies got in" Roni sead looking around.
Later that night well Koda was at jessys place Roni cooked up some supper for him and the others. sparky layed on the sofa cleaning his paws and buddy sat on the kitchen floor watching roni move about using the mishens to cook taking in moor information about the things that bipeds used, even though he didn't understand it. he had just turned off the stove and sat the pot of soup off to the side when the door bell rang, he glanced at his watch "7:32, that didn't take long" he left the kitchen, Roni went to the door the moment he opened it Jesse busted though and hugged him tightly "je....Jess" Roni sead actually surprised hugging him back, his father was behind him "Mr. Anderson, what are you doing here" he asked knocking well what he wanted.
when Jesse let go of him Mr. Anderson gestated inside "Roni, may i come in" Roni crossed his arms, Jesse looked at him making him huff "fine" he turned and walked into the house followed by Jesse and his father, they sat in the kitchen. "so....Roni i have to talk to you" "if its about what happened this morning then i already told you that I was at the park all day with them" Roni sead "no, its not about that. you were at the hospital this afternoon, you saw your foster parents Roni nodded grabbing the pot of soup to fill some bowls "and" he asked "well how were they" Roni scoffed "other then covered in bandages, no different, pretty much just told me to fuck off and don’t come back. what about it" Mr Anderson sighed "I’m sorry to have to tell you this....but your foster father was fatally mauled by wild ferals at the hospital" "what" Roni sead placing the pot on the counter with a but of a thud and turning to Jessys father looking confused "what the hell are you talking about, how the hell douse one get mauled in a fucking hospital"
Mr. Anderson shrugged and shook his head "we don’t know, what or why it happened. its strange to say the least in all my years i haven't saw anything like it" Roni scoffed "fuck, and here i though he would drop from drinking and or beating on something or some one" "what do you mean, what did he do" Roni crossed his arms "oh would you just tell him what he did to you" Jesse sead standing up "its non of there bisniss kitten" "that son of a bitch would beat him, drag him by his arm, and fifty percent of the time send him to bed with out anything to eat" Jesse sead sitting back down at the table "he cant hurt you anymore blue, just tell him" Roni sighed "I’m not afraid of him i never was. but whats going to happen now, are they going to take Koda" Mr. Anderson shook his head, "no, he is in a safe place and your foster mother will be home in a day or to" Mr. Anderson placed a paw on Ronis shoulder "look son, you have my number if you need anything you can call me OK, i was required to come and inform you about what happened, and he wanted to come with to make sure you were OK" Roni nodded "yea yea, but i'm sure Jess would have told you that i don’t care" he scoffed "he....he did tell me that" "then you know i'm just fine" "i understand"
Mr Anderson nodded to Roni and started heading for the door "lets get going Jess, your mothers not going to be happy as it is that i brought you on such a bad ride" he turned around at the door way "and Roni like i told you, anytime you need anything" "you know i don’t trust cops right" Roni sead with his arms crossed "and i'm staying with blue" they both looked at Jesse "now Jess, that wasn't the deal plus koda is at the house" "well i don’t think he should be alone" Roni held up and finger but Jesse beat him to it " you could use someone that you can talk to" Roni sighed giving in, saying no to the feline was not as easy as one would think "as long as its OK with Roni then i will bring you a bag later on" he shook his head and he left the house "and no walking the streets after dark until we get this rabid feral" he sead as he walked to his car.
Roni just shook his head as he closed the door and locked it,  when he turned around Jesse was less then an inch from his nose "you did it didn't you" he leaned back "did, what" he asked confused "William, you had him killed" Roni scoffed "yea, yea i got some rabid feral to attack him" Roni shook his head walking past Jesse and into the kitchen.
Roni sat down at the table taking his coffee in his paw, Jesse sat across from him now and then glancing at him as they talked about something unrelated for the time being.
After after a bit he showed Jesse his room, he hadn't been at his place before because his foster parents wouldn't allow him to have anyone over, or allow him to say out over night. it was some what clean but sill a little messy, though something like his own room the biggest difference was his wall, it was covered with Kodas paw paintings and labeled with his age. really Jesse had fount it sweet that he kept them all, Jessys younger brother never let anyone keep the ones that he did.
He sat on the foot of his bed, moving the blankets he noticed drops of blood from when sparky was hurt earlier that week Roni had just been to busy to change them, that and he was finding himself sleeping less and less so it was not like it mattered at that time.
"that's from spark" Roni sead sitting in the chair at his desk, "i brought him here after what happened. O'Neal gave me a kit in the chance that i needed it, to be honest i never though i would have to" speaking of the devil sparky walked in glancing at Jesse before sitting at Ronis feet "buddy is playing with the stove" he sead immunized "he really sticks to you don’t he" Jesse potentiated out and Ronis scratched the back of his head "he's my goo...." he herd buddy let out a sharp whine "good boy" he sead with a sigh. he grabbed the vet bag from next to his desk "though that other one, he....he is a bit different" buddy came into the bed room holding his paw up off the ground "what happened" Jesse sead looking at him "i touched the red coil thing" he sead coming up to Roni "accident prone" he sead using a spicle spray for burns, though it was not really for the use on ferals, it still worked the same by covering the burn with a layer of fake skin allowing it to heal faster.
he hopped back out of his room and up the hall way "the other day it was the wall socket" Roni sead pointing to the plug in beside the bed that was scorched black "what the hell did he do there" Jesse sead leaning over. Roni laughed tossing a melted key onto the bed beside Jess "he stuck this into the socket" he sead picking it up an looking at it "what fuck did he do that for" he asked making Roni scoffed but before he could ancer there was a small explosion in kitchen, the smoke alarm started to go off and Roni rushed out to the kitchen to fiend buddy's fur black and smoking with bits of toaster all over the place and a fork still in his mouth "well that was a bit of an over reaction" buddy sead starring at the floor dumb founded by the explosion
"what in the hell are you doing" Roni asked his paws on his hips "are you trying to burn down the house or what" he looked up at Roni "not intentionally" Roni huffed "what the hell happened in here" Jesse asked coming back with the battery from the smoke detector "he stuck a fork in the toaster" Roni told him shaking his head "god its like having a toddler running around" "why in the hell would he do that, how did he do that" "buddy these experiments of yours are going to get some one killed" he looked over to the TV "and no moor discovery channel for you" he flipped the channel and pocketed the remote and came back to Jesse picking up the picses "oh Jess, he can clean it up. buddy go get your broom" Roni pointed "how is he going to….” " Jesse asked as buddy came trotting past them with a broom head in his mouth, and started to run it across the floor "just like that, if he wants to do his little experiments he can clean up after them" Roni turned shaking his head "and no moor experiments tonight, i swear i'm going to wake one of thees days to a flood or a fire or god forbid half a house" buddy snorted, he was planning to do something with the dish washer later on, now he couldn’t.
"your really not crazy, you were telling me the truth you can talk to them" Roni shrugged "its a blessing and a curse" Roni sead sitting on the sofa and scratching sparkeys head "well this one is the strong one, that one" he gestured to buddy making Jess turn around to see him with a dust pan in his mouth "that one is testing the limits of the things our kind use, but i think he just likes making things go boom" "this....this is amazing" Jesse sead coming in to the living room "how....how did this happen"
Jesse sat down on the coffee table right across from Roni and he told him every thing that he knew, though leaving out some details connected to the den and its location and all details about the elders and what they know but other then that sparky told him the rest was just fine. and Jesse lissend and hang on to every word he had told him. he was completely amazed about what he was being told and on the edge of his seat the entire time.
"Jesus Christ....or mother mother earth what ever it happens to be, that is just amazing, millions of ferals at your back and call, doing what ever you want when ever you want. shit you could take over the damn world if you wanted to. and the things that you could do to help mammals is just out of this world. but i have to admit, this conflict that you told me about that's quite concerning. do you have any idea what it might be, or anything at all" Roni had left out the part about the growing rebellion, he didn't want to panic him under the fact it may not come to be "but....it douse reinforce my idea that you had one or moor of them kill your father" jessy sead thinking
Roni rolled his eyes "oh come on, if i was in your poshison i would have done the same thing, the only difference. i would have had something bigger, maybe a salt water crock eat his ass that way he just disappears. then join the search looking for him knowing that at that moment he was being being shit out in the everglades some where" the way Jesse was moving his paw and the look on his face Roni sat there staring at him well he explained what he would have done. when he looked up he saw both Roni and sparky staring at him "what" "Jesus, what is wrong with you" Roni sead blankly and Jesse scoffed "oh hell, i'm not exactly the pussy cat i pretend to be when i'm out in public. i mean who the hell is" he leaned back on his paws "besides, if you did, who could blame you" Roni shook his head "your evil, you know that" "meh only if you knew" buddy came out of the kitchen and looked at Roni but Roni only pointed at him and told him no, no moor experiments tonight making him lower his head and slowly walk into the living room and lay next to the coffee table.
they started watching TV and casualty talking about this and that for a bit before Jessys father dropped by at the end of his shift to drop off a thing or to for him, like his sleep wear, tablet computer and enough of his mothers meat loaf to feed a family of 5.
for the very first time Roni had felt like he was living a life and not just going though the motions. not having his step parents there for longer then a couple hours had such a large impact on things that he was able to relax for once in his life. the added benefit that made things so much better was having Jesse over, not only was it fun it was learning curve. behind closed doors and away from his parents he was a bit different then what he was used to, moor out spoken and a lot moor fun then he thought he would be. even though they pretty much grew up together he never really know what the felon was like as he got older.
He was also happy that spark and buddy had a bit moor then just his room to explore and move around in, and leaving the sliding door to the back yard open slightly so they could come and go as they wanted made all the difference, they really seamed to be happy with things the way they were. the sad part of it all was that it was only temporary, when his foster mother got back things would likely go back to a similar deal then it was before.
when it came time to head to bed, at about midnight Jesse took over Kodas bed because koda was at his place, well Roni, buddy and sparky went to his,  even though Roni told him it was OK to sleep on the bed, it was a king size after all. he still wanted to sleep on the floor right under the window where the cool breeze could sweep over him a reminder of being at the den, though tonight sleep came easy to every one because of the time they spent together had tired them all out.
Like most morning Roni was the first to wake up and start moving around, no mater what time he went to bed he was always up around the same time, the only difference this time he didn't have to stick to his bedroom he went out and started putting things together to make breakfast, knowing that the smell would bring the others to him.
it didn't take long for the others to smell what he was making and they started flowing into the kitchen one by one, the last one to show up was Jess but only by a minuet or 2 after buddy, who was way moor then happy to try different foods. they finished up eating and cleaning up the mess by 1 in the after noon.
They didn't want to spend the day in the house and Roni had to go to the hospital and check in with his foster mother anyway so they made that there first stop. because of the attack the day before Roni was not allowed to bring sparky or buddy into the hospital and there was a bigger police presents then there was last time as well, but that was not a problem he was only there to talk, so he got them to stay with Jesse just outside the entrance as he went in. he was half expecting to be barred from seeing her, but when he asked the front desk or her they happily gave him the room number and floor she was moved to, after the attack they had moved her to the 2end floor, not like it mattered if he wanted to get something in there they weren't going to stop him.
the door had a window and he peaked in, she was up and slowly eating, she was also disconnected from the I,V pumps that she was connected to the day before. he waited a moment before he opened the door and let it close behind him, when she looked up from her food tray she squinted at him as if she was having a hard time remembering him, but it only took a second and and her eyes went back to normal and she smiled "Roni my boy, there you are"
he hesitated to step foreword, but his curiosity got the best of him and he slowly stepped foreword "what are, fucking high" she sighed "thankfully, not anymore" "oook, then" Roni grabbed her chart off the foot of the bed and started flipping though it. "dialyses, activated charcoal, naloxone, administered for emergency detox from male hormones and LSD and pain killers that was orally ingested, levels detected suggest that user was unwilling. treatments remaining 1" he lowered the clip board "what's this about" he asked "William, was dosing me. male hormones to bring on rage and LSD to convince me of things that weren't true and pills to keep me addicted and hide the other things." she sighed "they found them in my system when they took blood, I thought I was just taking pain killers, not all that" she shook her head "but i don't know when it started but the damage caused to my organs, they think that its been going on now for moor then 12 years" Roni dropped the the clip board on the the foot of the bed and crossed his arms "nice try but i'm not falling for that one" Roni sead in a flat tone "now about the...." rose nodded and reached under the blankets "to be honest i wouldn't believe me ether, not after what you have been though. maybe this can calm your thoughts, even if its just a bit" she placed a file folder on the table "what you asked for and moor"
he looked at her as he reached out and took the file and started to thumb though, it contained documents dropping the restraining order, but that was not all. the emancipation stayed in place and because of that rose had given full custody of Koda to Roni and placing his name on the house making him half owner of the property meaning he can not be removed or forced to leave.
He peered over the file at here before going back and looking at all of the stamps and signichers. they were sines by the locale judge and stamped with the towns seal. as fare as things looked they were all real, with the justice of the peace as a witness. everything seamed to be good, to good.
Roni closed the file, and dropped it on the bed with the clip board and leaned on the rail at the foot of the bed "you expect me to b leave this is all legit and legal. its Saturday how did you get something like this so fast" she sat up in the bed "believe it or not but i used to be a lawyer, and good one at that. the judge here was the one i took the bar with. when my head started to clear up i had given him a call. he was moor then willing to do this. even at 3 in the morning, on a Saturday. his personal number is in there if you want to call and confirm every thing, again i wouldn't blame you if you didn't trust me, i remember doing some awful things to you" she sighed and looked a way from Roni "but at the time, i swear it was the right things to do, William was always assuring me that it was the way. as long as i did what he asked he sead that Koda would safe. that you were the one that would hurt him and i believed it" she shook her head "he made you out to be the bad one and made me see things that you did to Koda, but i kept wondering, if you really did them things how come Koda kept going to you and was so happy around you. he wouldn't be like that if it were true" she looked down again "I'm just not sure. they tell me that over time i may recover moor but....i don't know if i want that to happen" she looked back up at Roni "anyway now that i have given you the things that you wanted may....may i ask something of you. i'm told i can go home on Monday, would you get rid of everything of HIS i don’t want any reminders of that....that thing around"
every time she brought up William her tone had changed a bit but it was like she was trying to restrain from anger when she brought him up but Roni was not really believing it, not with out anything real to back it up and that.
"fine, for now i will go along with this and see what happens and see how all this ends. i will get rid of everything of his and i will do this for me, not for you because " he tapped the file with a claw "if these papers are real and the house if really half mine then i don’t want anything that reminds me of it there. as fore the...." the door opened behind him making him turn on a dime, it was Jessys father when he saw Roni he apologized "ohh sorry i didn't know you were here, i will come back" Roni shook his head and picked up the papers "no, no its OK i was heading out Jesss and spark  are waiting out front" "well actually, maybe....maybe i could talk to you both of you then" rose shrugged and Roni eyed him up "about what" he asked "about the attack.but i can come back" "its..its OK. whats going on" rose sead softly.
he closed the boor behind him and came in stopping beside the bed "well i wanted to ask you if you saw the feral before, like around town. were having a hard time finding them" "no, it was just your average wolf, no spicle markings no nothing" Roni looked at rose "what about you, in your statement you sead it was a dog" "i....i thought...it was but i really don’t know i really didn't see much" he sead with out looking a way from rose until the last word left his mouth "i mean it sorta looked like one, but having sparky i ever notice in detail is other shepherds" Mr. Anderson nodded making a note in his pad "one moor thing, we also found feathers, from a raven in the room, what....what was that about" she shook her head "i don’t know why they were there, maybe brought in by the feral maybe. i think i would have remembered of there was birds in the room" he nodded making another note and closed his pad and placed it into his pocket "well that's all i needed to check, finding a feral in a place this size is like a needle in a haystack. i cant promise you that i will even fiend it" rose sighed "giving what he done to me, and made me do to my cubs, i will be honest i don’t know if i will be loosing much sleep over it" this made Mr Anderson sigh "i understand, it cant be easy. but its our job to search and fiend these things. i'm sorry i had to bring it up once moor" rose nodded "well if ether of you have any moor information then please do not hesitate to contact me"
they both nodded and Mr. Anderson made for the door but stopped "Jess is out front you sead" Roni nodded i will come with you i got to get somethings done before she comes home" he turned to rose and sead he would come back when there was time and when she was feeling better he would bring Koda up to see her. with that he left the room with Mr. Anderson and walked with him down the halls "so what the chart is saying is true he was dosing her" "yea the son of a bitch, if he was still alive he would be in lock up right now and not a good stay ether"
they left the front doors to see the others sitting near by, Jesse was a bit surprised to he his father there but he still gave him a hug and told that he would pick him up later that night, but Roni sead that it was OK if he stayed, he could still use a bit of his help and that in turn he nodded and saying he would drop by with supper then and bring koda home before his wife decided to keep him. when he left he had to go back thought he hospital because he was parked in the back
Roni had been consecrated on what happened back at the hospital that he had almost stepped out into traffic twice, the second time sparky had pulled him by the tail, just before he was creamed by a dump truck, when he shook him off Jesse placed a paw on his shoulder and asked him what the hell was he thinking and when he got looks from each of them he told him what happened in the hospital. Jesse was confused and so was sparky, they knew what she was like buddy on the other hand thought that maybe she was telling the truth. they rambled about it on the way back to the house.

it didn't make things any better when they went back to the house and started going though all the things that William had left behind. they found the drugs, a large stash of them. it made things a lot moor easy to believe but there was still the fact that she could have been taking it at will and on her own. Roni was determined to fiend a hole in the story she told him. then he found the printed web pages, dated moor then 12 years ago, showing the side effects of the male hormones and LSD making it even harder to disregard her side of things.
They continued going though things that he owned and tossing it all into bins bound for the dump, though the things that they found that was a little on the disturbing side. Not only did he found other drugs, like meth and heroin, they also found a firearm, what surprised Roni because he would have expected him to use it on him.
He found a laptop that he knew had to be his because rose only ever used her phone so he knew that what he would fiend on it was his. When he went though it, the porn that he founds was not that of the normal everyday things ether and neither was his browsing history. there was also the saved pages on the drugs that was used on rose. he dropped it into the container to go to the dump, he didn’t want to have anything to do with it and continued to go though the mountains of crap that was left.
They carried everything they packed up and put it out by the garbage with the only things he kept was the gun and the keys to the f150.
When Roni came back from taking a bag out, he saw Jesse was sitting on the bed, trying to open some kind of lock box, he sead he found it in the back of the closet under a loose floor board. it was the only thing left that seamed to belong to William. "you know how to get into these things" Jesse asked as he came in "there is something in there" he shook the box next to his ear.
Roni took the lock box in his paws and turning it around looking at it, it was not really the most expensive one he had ever saw, but there was one thing that they could try. they went out into the kitchen and Roni took the metal tenderizing hammer and placed the lock on the cutting board. he gave it one good hit on the lock was busted, easy as pie. he used his claw to turn the lock and open it up "cheep fucker" Roni sead shaking his head and digging into it.
Jesse pulled out a stack of 100 dollar bills, he started counting thought it when Roni dipped a paw in and pulled out a stack of instant photos, seeing parts of William he didn't even want to think about little own see, as he skimmed though he started seeing females that was not rose. he knew this because the females that was in them were about 30 years younger then her, they were all of cub girls from the age of new born to about 6, he noticed that the male in all them photos was that of his foster father. he shook his head, "how come in not surprised" he rolled his eyes "what" Jesse asked still counting the money "hears some content for your spank bank Jess" he sead passing the photos to Jess well he picked though the last things that were in the lock box.
"oh what the hell" Jesse sead looking at the photos "what would i possibility do with these" Roni shrugged taking keys from the lock box and looking at them "just....just pretend they are boys" he sead glancing over "you didn't think i knew that did you" Roni sead looking back to the keys "this one is ford, but this one....this one is for a chev, i don’t remember him having anything other then this, and a key to a padlock" "maybe its a storage locker, and what are you talking about, knew what" he shrugged "that would not supersize me, and you know damn well what i mean" he sead putting the key on the counter "we have known each other for how long, you really didn't think i didn't see the sines. you keep a pare of your brothers undies under your bed.
Jesse stood there staring at him, but Roni shook his head and waved his paw "oh come on kitten, if i cared i would have done something about it long a go, but if you want to hide it better don’t get a ragger when your running around with Koda on your shoulders" Roni chuckled taking the photos from him, but before he tossed them back into the box he held them up "yes....no....maybe...." "no" Jessy told him flatly. "OK then” he tossed the photos back into the lock box and tossed it on top of the stove and truing the element on high "Roni look i" he scratched the back of his head "i want....i wanted to tell you about....about this" Roni just shook his head "its OK Jess, don’t worry about it. just so long as you know that Koda is off limits i don’t care about that" “of coarse. i never would have touched him. i know what you would do if i did" Roni scoffed "same condition as William" Jesse nodded “exatley....wait what" he sead looking at Roni in surprise "i was kidding about that, did you really" Roni shrugged it off "they tried separating me and Koda, plus it was not like i forced anything. they were moor then willing. if anything i just didn’t  stop them" once the lock box was smoking he grabbed it with a set of tongs and took it out side and let them burn.
when he came back Jesse had finished counting the money, there was just over 9 grand there. he slid it over to Roni "at least you got something out of him" he sead making Roni laugh "its likely the money that he took from me over the pas 10 years anyway" he took the money off the counter, folding it and placing it into his pocket "i will say this though, we can order something good tonight" Jesse patted him on the back "if your paying then i'm in" Roni smiled as they went back to do the last bits of clean up, before his father dropped koda off. Roni wanted William wiped clean from the place before koda got there, he was kinda hoping that koda wouldn’t even remember him and with the help of jessy, sparkey and buddy they were able to clean the entire house before five that night, so they were just relaxing when jessys parents both showed up to drop off koda and another meal that his she made that would feed a family of 8, “she wanted to make sure that your all well fed” he told them when they asked why there was so much food jessy had to shake his head and scoff before they turned to head out “look at him, he don’t need anything moor” he poked ronis belly “hey, that’s what a growing boy looks like” she gave roni a light cheek pinch “you could lurn a thing or to from him jessy my dear” she shook a finger at jessy “anyway if you need anything at all don’t be afraid to call OK” she gave roni a hug, when she moved on to jessy Mr. Anderson shook ronis paw.
