There was one tomb in particular, though, that got my attention. It was in a temple that seemed to be quite old, and in the worst shape. The floors were slick from water that dripped down from the ceiling, and the glass in some windows was broken, letting in cold breezes. There were notches in the floor and on the walls were items had once been, but had long since vanished. The tomb, alone, seemed undamaged and in good condition. The plinth was solid black marble, and must have weighed many tons. It had no markings on it whatsoever, though it was beautifully polished and gleamed. Kneeling on the marble was a representation of a skunk-femme, life size and completely nude. She was as black-furred as Irenaeus must have been white-furred. There was only a thin strip of white marble inset into her carved black marble body, and some porphyry was used for her nose and the very tips of her chest. Other than that, one solid mass of polished black marble. To my great interest, the thing radiated very strong magicks.
Looking closer at the thing, I did see that there was, in fact, some writing on it.

This was next to a slot set near the mephitess' tail-tip. Unless you stood on tip-toe (well, for me, being five-four) and were looking for it (or found it by accident), it wouldn't have been visible.
Of note is that <| Tegerio,1,2|> is careful to show the remnants of the stained glass that had been emplaced by the former faith in Eastness, which was a type of sun-worship.[/quote]
