Kayla had seen that they had been followed by a few cars, but after passing several blocks they seemed to lose them, or they simply left, either way, arriving at the hospital wasn't as muted as the ride over. Of course plenty of people at the hospital recognized her right away, though that wasn't what was important, Kayla went in carried by Fayra, right up to the front desk. Fayra began explaining their situation immediately to the person who resembled a zebra that was manning the front desk. Kayla barely had the time to look around, though there wasn't much to look at, even in this different and more technologically advanced world a hospital's main entryway still seemed rather boring and bland. Must be some kind of universal constant, anyway, it was mere moments before both Fayra and by extension Kayla were moving off to some new part of the hospital. \n\n\tHeading through the hospital proved to be far more interesting, there was definitely some neat looking machines and such that she had never seen before, and had no idea what they did. As they were escorted through the halls the zebra began to explain, he sounded like he was gargling tar as he spoke though.\n\n\"Well all things considered we will have to do a lot of testing, given we have no idea what we're dealing with here, and as you've explained we aren't likely to get any help in that regard, that is unless you have anything that could help?\"\n\n\"Well the only thing we do have is this.\" Fayra said as she reached into the diaper bag she had taken with, pulling out a bottle of formula.\n\n\"This is the formula they have her drinking, but it's all we have.\" she continued.\n\n\"That's not a lot to work with, we'll have to analyze that right away as well as taking some blood samples.\" the zebra stated as they all went into a room. \n\n\tKayla was placed onto a bed, it was pretty soft and crinkled in the exact same way that her diaper did. \n\n\"Make yourself comfortable, I'll be back soon with the doctor.\" the zebra said as he then left.\n\n\tFayra stood by the bed with Kayla.\n\n\"Here, let's get you changed real quick.\" Fayra said.\n\n\"Oh good, the wetness makes my fur clump up down there and feel so uncomfortable, not to mention I'm really stating to smell like pee.\" Kayla responded.\n\n\tFayra took advantage of the diapers she found within the room, they were the plain medical variety, though obviously much better than the kind you'd see in a hospital on earth, probably due to how much more popular diapers were here. But she didn't care much about what kind of diaper it was as Fayra undressed her. Then her diaper was removed, the rush of cool air to her waist was so refreshing after being cooped up for so long. Kayla simply enjoyed the change as Fayra went about it, and she was rather good at it. Though after Fayra began taking her shirt off as well.\n\n\"Hey whats with taking my shirt? I mean I don't mind losing it, but why?\" Kayla asked.\n\n\"Well I figure their going to take them off anyway when they get to examining you.\" Fayra responded.\n\n\tKayla simply shrugged as she was successfully undressed, leaving her in just a diaper on the bed and it wasn't too long before someone new came in, resembling a dog of some kind, mainly reminding her of a golden retriever. \n\n\"Hello, I presume you're Kayla? I'm doctor Zelta, we've heard a lot about you, but to have you here right now is amazing in it's own right. I was informed on the situation and we should be able to help you. Given nothing unpredictable happens.\" she said as she came in. \n\n\tDoctor Zelta went over to Kayla a type of syringe in her arm. \n\n\"Aw crap, that's a needle isn't it.\" Kayla said as she looked at the device in the doctor's hand rather apprehensively. \n\n\"Well yes, though it's not really a needle in the traditional sense. Well, it is. The point it you won't feel it.\" Zelta said as she went down, pressing the 'syringe' into her arm. \n\n\tKayla kept her eyes closed the entire time, if she didn't see it, she couldn't react, though that didn't stop her from whining slightly when she felt it pressed it against her arm. But in a few moments it was taken away and Kayla opened her eyes to see doctor Zelta holding the same syringe except now the clear part looked to be housing her blood, which was red. Would be really weird if it wasn't red.\n\n\"This should do for what we need. In the meantime waiting is really your only option.\" doctor Zelta said.\n\n\"To be so young with an indeterminate amount of time left, it's an oddly vexing feeling considering how old I was. Sorry, don't mind me just, there's about a hundred thoughts racing through my mind right now, a distraction would be nice.\" Kayla stated.\n\n\"Well you can always watch the television, maybe even see what their saying about you on the news if you wanted.\" doctor Zelta said as she then left.\n\n\tKayla breathed a collective sigh as she laid back in the bed, Fayra nearby. There was what looked like a remote sitting on the stand next to the bed. Of course she had to slide across the bed to even be able to reach the remote, but in the end she got it. \n\n\"You know you might not want to watch the news, not everyone has good things to say about you.\" Fayra said.\n\n\"Well, it doesn't really matter, I'm not going to watch the news anyway.\" Kayla said.\n\n\tKayla was about to turn on the television when they heard voices coming from outside the room. It sounded like a lot of commotion going on outside, there seemed to be people screaming and shouting out there, why couldn't things just stay simple for a couple hours. Before Kayla could even think about what was going on the door to her room burst open, many people trying to crowd in. If it hadn't been for the fact that Fayra was still there she would have likely been swarmed. There were so many news people with cameras and what looked like microphones and junk. Of course they had found out that Kayla had moved over to here and then they swooped in hoping to get the better of her. Though as the crowd of people died down in order to hear Kayla's possible answer, the only thing she had to say was.\n\n\"No comment.\" \n\n\tWhich of course only escalated the people back into shouting at her again. It would be a few longer minutes before a combination of security and nurses managed to get the reporters out of the room where they were told Kayla might speak to them, which was a lie. Kayla had little intention of telling any news reporter anything at this point in time, especially given how little she actually knew about everything, she turned on the television like she had planned, simply going through the channels, not watching any one thing, but rather, looking at everything there was, seeing what sort of world she was dealing with. A great deal could be learned simply from a news show to the commercials that were on. What was most interesting about the commercials in particular was the large amount of diaper commercials, and not just for babies. Diapers for young kids, diapers for older kids, diapers for teenagers, hell even diapers for adults. The sheer amount was crazy, there was also commercials for drugs, those seemed pretty frequent too, as well as genetic things she had no real way of understanding in her own right.\n\n\tKayla was interrupted by doctor Zelta coming back in, so she turned the screen off in order to hear Zelta say.\n\n\"Well firstly we're on our way to better understanding what you were, but it'll still take some time, secondly, we're greatly sorry for that intrusion before. There was just too many of them to deal with and some slipped through.\" Zelta said.\n\n\"That's fine, it's kind of nice to have the attention.\" Kayla joked.\n\n\"Well attention aside I have some other news for you. We've received a lot of calls from several businesses. All of which seem to want to make an appointment with you, I've told them they would have to call back when you can actually leave the hospital, though many of them stated they would meet with you here. Regardless I told them all I would need to speak with you first.\" Zelta said.\n\n\tKayla seemed a little confused at this.\n\n\"Businesses? What do they want with me?\" she asked.\n\n\"Likely trying to capitalize on the fact that you're all over the news right now.\" Fayra added.\n\n\"Right. Who called then anyway? What sorts of businesses?\" Kayla asked.\n\n\"Well, a wide variety. I'm fairly certain every single major diaper corporation called multiple times. A few calls from some clothing corporations, some food ones as well. Not to mention the geneticists and I think even a few movie producers.\" Zelta said.\n\n\"That's, that's a lot of businesses.\" Kayla responded, thinking about it.\n\n\"You know, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to meet with a few of them. All things considered after everything is said and done you're going to be a baby from another planet that's in a body they don't understand on a planet they don't understand with no relatives or money to your name, though I suppose you will always have a celebrity status being the first alien we've ever been in contact with.\" Fayra said.\n\n\"Well when you put it that way I suppose I don't have much of a choice now do I? Though I don't know anything about them, and I've never been good with money to begin with.\" Kayla stated.\n\n\"I think I have someone who can help with that. My sister. She's big on business and knows all about it, she should be able to help you without a problem, besides she'll probably end up being your manager and I'm sure she couldn't say no to that.\" Fayra stated.\n\n\"Well it seems you have everything in order, I'll be heading out.\" Zelta said, but Kayla grabbed her attention.\n\n\"Wait! While Fayra is calling her sister, would you mind changing me doctor?\" Kayla asked, her tail curled around her waist in obvious embarrassment.\n\n\tUpon that being said both Zelta and Fayra began to smell something rather foul in the air, knowing that there was indeed a need for a change. Fayra went to contact her sibling while doctor Zelta helped Kayla by giving her a change, a desperately needed one by the smell of things.","writing_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap:
