However the cleaning costs for our fine instruments far exceeded budget. As such the Imperial Library has placed an open contract on protective suits for interacting with our more fluid volunteers. One candidate for purchase, a latex covering interwoven with testing apparatus, is ready for late stage testing.\n\nWe have opted for our inverted testing harness and replaced the normal jackhammer arm with what R&D are referring to as “The injector pump”. This device can simulate various experimental possibilities along a spectrum of volumes, intensities, and viscosities. Ideally the suit will prevent leaks, provide data, and not compromise the… level of access needed for Library testing.\n\nDoomregard in IT has informed of an unresolved software issue in the older harness. The apparatus has a tendency to reset testing duration to a full eight hour workday. While the incorporated health and hydration mouthpiece would prevent any permanent damage to a volunteer an escalating testing curve could prove exhausting. Either way, manual override is still an option to whoever holds the controls.\n\nSchedule is tight today, so if necessary I can at the very least complete the fitting after hours.
