He’s grown alot since those days, including getting fatter. He’s named after another artist, Nouveau sculpture, Rupert Carabin. He’s a scientist with an imfamous past, having a hand in a secret weapons project that unleashed the Fantom Krew into the universe. Being a lead on the project he saw personally to the military upgrading of over a dozen brutes and workers into death dealing warriors. When their creations turned against them, the leader of the pack, Karma Diem took Carabin and kept him as her pet and toy. Years later he escaped, after a multitude of physical and mental scars. His ears wear stretched down past his hips and his fur perma-dyed turquoise . After the escape he had his ears trimmed back to a 'normal’ length and had holo-tattoos (of his original ear markings) placed under his ears. His original markings were an off-white grey like Slavid and Stratin’s markings. Despite being Karma Diem’s bitch and plaything he had a relationship with Jissamica, one of the other 'projects’ that formed the Fantom Krew. Jizz and Cara hate each other, but have a physical attraction too each other. He served on one other ship, before being kidnapped by yet another pirate crew and eventually finding his way to safety. Once free he reunited with his wife Silvade (a pilot) and his three children, Metera (a scholar and explorer), Stratin (a promising geneticist, turned cult leader) and Slavid (an engineer). Silvade died afew year later of a wasting disease. These days he continues his mad scientist work for the highest bidder, though being xenophobic, only deals with other Laiski and not other species. He’s mellow about things, but is still prone to bouts of manic depression and mood swings from the years he was kept on drugs as a captive. He disapproves of Slavid and Stratin’s lifestyles, viewing both as too extreme, but keeps in regular contact with Metera, who’s bubbly attitude and tolerance reminds him of Silvade.
