could get quite rowdy or aggressive. But she’d yet to see a single one that wasn’t docile and polite, particularly when she had treats to give them. Plus she didn’t have any Pokéballs on her, or even really give off the vibe of being a trainer. Since she wasn’t. She was happy observing from afar, no interest in glorified pit-fighting for her. She was more interested in seeing how easy it was to tempt them with an over-processed snack or two.\n\n\nSo what if she’d been told not to feed them? It’s not like they’d been following her around or anything, at least to her knowledge…\nHer feet were nestled into the sand - still with the shoes on for now. She’d kick them off later, once she was sure she was going to settle here until the sun set. She wasn’t quite sure about this spot just yet, even with the shade it felt a bit…distant from the ocean.\nShe was considering how the sea water might feel on her feet as it started to come in more and more. It might warm her up to the idea of doing some skinny dipping…\n\nShe could imagine it already. As she listened to the waves, she pictured the water caressing the undersides of her paws. Her breathing synced with the sound of the water, and everything else began to fade into the background of her mind.\nShe felt a phantom sensation, a sort of anticipatory warmth and pressure. Her feet almost felt cool and refreshed already. With each wave, she pictured it slowly lapping further and further up. She could imagine it continuing further and further. The water stuck to her as the tide receded, before pushing up again with the next wave. The imaginary liquid stuck to her and constricted, thick and gelatinous, and she could feel the fabric of her shoes getting soaked, with a low, suckling sound…\n\nIt was around this point that she remembered that sea water definitely didn’t have that texture. Or that tightness.
