An Unusual Stress Reliever

The school bell rang, indicating the end of the school day. Children rushed out, both human and monster. It was only a few months since a boy named Frisk released the monsters underground and became their ambassador. Frisk convinced the world leaders that the monsters only want peace and would never harm any human. There was a few incidents here and there, but nothing major. Frisk's friends had their dreams come true, but one still had some problems of her own.
Her name is Alphys and she came to the school yard to find Toriel, the teacher of the school and formal queen of the monsters. Alphys was once the Royal Scientist, serving King Asgore who wanted to find why human souls could linger even after death. Alphys found out that the human souls had what monster souls did not, human souls had what she called "determination." This resulted in her extracting this new energy and putting it in volunteering souls. It went down hill from there. She accidentally created amalgamates, which horrified her. She had to live with it, lying to the families and friends and knowing she created horrifying creatures. She decided to lying and release the amalgamates after Frisk convinced her. Alphys then told Asgore and Toriel about what she had done, which got her fired from her job. Alphys now lives on the surface with Undyne, her lover.
Alphys came to Toriel to talk, as she still was depressed about the past ordeal. Toriel was just ready to leave the school, filling her bag with papers that needed to be graded. Alphys walked in.
"T-toriel? Are you here?" Alphys asked nervously.
"Oh hello Alphys! What a surprise to see you here. I was just about to leave. Do you need anything?" Toriel answered, wondering.
"Uh, no. I mean y-yes! I mean.... I need to talk to you. I've been having nightmares lately about the things I did. I just... can't get them out of my head! I want to forget, but the thoughts keep coming back. I don't know if I can take it anymore."
Toriel then hugs Alphys, trying to calm her down. "I know it's hard for you my dear, but you have to fight those thoughts out. Everyone seems OK with their.... loved ones like that."
"I-I know Toriel, but I still feel bad. I just need a way to forget, even for a little bit." Alphys said, looking to the ground in an ashamed way.
Toriel thought for a moment. She had someways to help. Maybe she could...? No, that wouldn't help. Well how about...? Not that either. Could I....? Yes! That is what she'll do! She is known as a caretaker and a great parent, so it should work! But she has to keep it a secret.
"Alphys," Toriel began to ask, "Would you like to come to my home? I have a way to help, but it must be a surprise!"
"A-a surprise?? Well, I guess I'll come if it can help."
Toriel then grabbed her bag, motioning Alphys to come.
"Great! I assure you, it will help. Just follow me my dear."
Toriel and Alphys headed along the road down to Toriel's. It took only a few blocks down the road before the house appeared. It was a one-story home made out of bricks and had a thatched roof. A white picket fence surrounded the yard, housing a garden of golden flowers in the front yard. The house was simple, but comfortable. Toriel unlocked the front door and headed inside, Alphys trailing along.
Toriel made sure Alphys was comfy, inviting her to sit on the couch and making her some golden flower tea. As they sat down and drank their tea, they both discussed about how lives were here in the human world compared to the underground and current jobs. When the tea was finished, Toriel stood up.
"I think now is a good time to show you the surprise. Follow along now," Toriel said to Alphys, leading her to a special room.
As they got to the door leading to the room, Alphys smelled something. It smelled like.... baby powder?
"Close your eyes dear, and wait until I say to open them," Toriel commanded, opening the door.
Alphys closed her eyes, wondering why this was so mysterious. And the baby powder. Why was she smelling it?
"You may now open your eyes!" Toriel exclaimed.
Alphys was shocked as to what she saw. It was a nursery! That's why she was smelling the baby powder! The room was covered in nursery decals and colors. A crib next to a changing table was at the far wall of the room, while a cabinet was at the left side as well as a mirror. The right side had a toy chest with a child's fake cooking set and TV. Why did she take her here?
"Welcome to the nursery my dear," Toriel said in a calm, soothing voice.
Toriel then picked Alphys up and carries her to the changing table. Alphys didn't fight back, she was still shocked and plus she was Toriel's friend. Toriel then lied her down upon the table and pulled out a big, pink, poofy diaper. Alphys couldn't believe it. Toriel was going to baby her!
Toriel took off Alphys's lab coat, exposing her body. This made Alphys, obviously, blush and covered her privates. Toriel just giggled, lifting up Alphys's legs and sliding the diaper under her. Toriel put her legs down and grabbed some baby powder, shaking it over her crotch. When this was done, Toriel taped up the diaper and gave Alphys's padded bum a few pats, signaling a job well done.
"W-why are you doing this? I'm not a baby!" Alphys protested.
"Alphys, I'm doing this to help you. I want you to feel better and forget those memories. Plus, you agreed to this. You wanted me to help and this is the best way I know how! Please, let me help." Toriel responded in an impressive way.
"W-well, i-i guess this might help," Alphys responded still blushing.
Toriel then hugged her again, happy with Alphys's choice. Toriel then carried her to the cabinet and opened it up. Inside was a bunch of baby clothes, all that could fit Alphys. Toriel took a few out and showed them to Alphys.
"Which one would you like to wear? The onesie can help me change you without having to take it off, or maybe you like a shirt better?"
Alphys wanted a shirt, so Toriel put her in a shirt with unicorns on it.
"You look so adorable Alphys!" Toriel said, teasing her a bit.
Alphys was thinking about what Undyne would say if she caught Toriel doing this to her. Would she leave her? Would she laugh at her?
Toriel interrupted her thoughts.
"I do believe it's playtime!" Toriel exclaimed, pushing the toy chest over to Alphys.
The toy chest was filled with a variety of toys made by the humans, such as Lincoln Logs and Legos. The Legos was what interested Alphys the most, as she saw a lego set that would become a small, yellow cottage when put together. Alphys poured the legos out of the box and immediately started building, using the instructions for help. While she was busy, she missed something very important. Her bladder needed release. Alphys was so busy concentrating on building that she opened the floodgates without noticing.
She was wetting herself like a baby. Toriel noticed.
“Alphys, I don’t want to embarrass you, but you… went potty.”
Alphys, unsure, looked at her diaper. It was damp with her own pee. She went red, brighter than a tomato. Tears began to form. Toriel quickly hugged her, doing her best to calm her down.
“It’s alright sweetie. It was just an accident. Let’s get you changed.,” Toriel said, popping a pink pacifier in Alphys’s mouth and picking her up.
Toriel then took her over to the changing table and lied her down on it. Toriel then got the supplies necessary for the change: A new diaper, powder, and wipes. First, Toriel untaped the dirty diaper and began wiping Alphys’s privates. Alphys blushed even redder, sucking on the pacifier. Toriel then threw the wipes and old diaper away into the diaper pail. After this, Toriel unfolded the new diaper and lied it under Alphys. With a generous amount of powder and some taping, the change was done. Toriel held Alphys in her arms, cuddling with her.
“Now, how about a nap. You seem a bit tired,” Toriel asked her.
She’s right, Alphys was feeling a bit tired. Maybe a few moments of rest wouldn’t hurt. But what about Undyne?
“T-toriel, what about U-undyne? If she finds me like this, s-she’ll hate me for sure.”
“No need to worry, I took care of her earlier while the tea was getting prepared. I told her that I needed your help with fixing some things. She believed it, so don’t worry!”
Alphys smiled. Toriel then took Alphys to the crib and put her in, then made sure she was comfortable. A red blanket and a teddy bear was included too. Alphys named the bear “Mew Mew.”
“I’ve recently learned a new lullaby from a human friend of mine. Would you like to hear it?” Toriel asked.
Alphys nodded yes. Happy, Toriel took a deep breath and began to sing a soothing lullaby. Alphys felt her eyes closing as she drifted off to sleep.
As soon Toriel finished, Alphys fell asleep, happily sucking on her pacifier and cuddling her teddy.
Toriel smiled, “Have good dreams my child.”
She then turned off the lights. The door was closed quietly. Alphys’s dreams were those of happiness, as her and Undyne were walking around the city and enjoying themselves. She hadn’t had good dreams in years! The therapy worked.

A knock at Toriel’s door was heard. Who could that be? If it was Asgore, she would… oh no. It was Undyne!
