A brief history leading up to the present for those interested. Name: Koby Birth Planet: Krul (desert planet) Raised by: Desert Foxes (feral) Age: Unknown Sex: Male Current Location: Temporal Research Station A53G72-4E Hatched on a desert planet, I was adopted by an indigenous pack of feral desert foxes and lived with them for the first 200 years of my life. I was happy, playing with my siblings digging large labyrinths through the desert sands but one day a space ship came and took everyone away. I managed to sneak aboard as well, and only later found out it was a rescue ship and that the sun in our solar system had gone supernova mere days after our rescue. My siblings were brought to another planet where they now inhabit the desert region, I myself however was found and transferred to Temporal Research Station A53G72-4E for quarantine and evaluation. I lived out the next 30 years on the station, learning all I could and once the scientists realized my intelligence level they even encouraged me to assist with their work and in learning about the projects that were being conducted. Living on the station, I was able to learn a lot about technology as well as a variety of languages, 720 in total as of my last recollections. Over the years, a new ship would bring in more scientists to replace those who left, through one means or another. 260 years after my arrival however, the supply ship stopped coming and the scientists began to die off one by one. It has been 300 years now, since the last of the scientists died, the last few leaving behind recordings for me so that I would have someone to talk to and not be lonely on the empty station. All the systems are automated, the mining robots still bring in raw materials, the forge still breaks the materials down into useable forms but I am the sole survivor, aside from the multitude of automated drones. It has taken a long time, but I finally believe that my hard work in continuing the project is going to pay off. Today I am testing out the first of the portals that will bring me back into contact with life outside my home here on the station. Wish me luck! I may see you on the other side! Koby out!
