1. How much time has passed in universe since page 0 / are the ponies still in heat? Short answer: 2 days + 14 hours; yes. Long answer: The mane 6 and the Cakes started setting up for Spike's 4th-birthday party 2 days before Spike's birthday so that they would for sure have enough time to get everything together--like getting Vinyl's equipment to the house, bringing Pinkie's couch downstairs from her room, baking, decorations, scheduling with Derpy to sit the twins, etc. This meant Twilight would be out of the library that afternoon, helping to decorate. According to Rarity on page 1, "all of Ponyville is in heat," which refers to the fact that mares that have gotten used to living in close quarters with each other will send each other into heat when one goes into it. The length of pony heat varies but is usually around 6 days. All of his friends being in heat combined with him just recently coming into sexual maturity on his "Coming of Age Day" [page 0.5] makes Spike have to run off to the library bathroom extra often to paw off. (Since pony pheremones turn him on, Spike can be described as equinosexual.) Celestia takes this opportunity to plant the book of transformation spells, knowing that Twilight would find it and, owing to her dormant feelings for Spike, transform in order to "thank" her #1 assistant; and that Spike won't be able to help himself. 2. Why did dragon!Twilight's eggs take only one day to gestate? Short answer: Magic. Long answer: I misspoke, actually, since the dragons are currently gestating in the eggs! But dragon!Twilight only took 8 hours to lay fully formed eggs after being impregnated. This is because Twilight's hormones were going crazy due to three factors: her estrus, her body being imbued with more magic than normal to begin with since she is the element of magic, and her having a spell active on her the whole time. 3. Why did Celestia want Spike to impregnate dragon!Twilight? Short answer: To get more dragon eggs for the magic school and possibly because she ships TwiSpi. Long answer: As shown in S1E23, "The Cutie Mark Chronicles," the entry exam for the magic school in Canterlot is to use magic to hatch the egg of a dragon that will then become the new student's assistant upon success. Page 0 shows the principal of the magic school showing Celestia that the incubation room has only 1 egg left in it, which is a problem for the school for obvious reasons. On page 5, Celesia has added all of Spike's and Twilight's eggs (except the one they've hidden from Celestia) to the incubation room. Obviously, this is to help out the magic school, and getting eggs from Ponyville is safer and more time-effective than stealing them from the dragon colony. Furthermore, as is suggested in the letter from Celestia on page 4, Celestia has been trying to set Twilight up with someone for a long time, apparently since she sent Twilight on her mission to Ponyville: "you have surpassed my highest expectations and discovered the true meaning of friendship" (page 5). ...Maybe she wants to watch her faithful student laying eggs too! 4. Why are you including so many sex scenes / how does Spike get around so much / how does all this sex factor into the plot? Short answer: SPOILER WARNING! Long answer: Of course, Twilight finds out Spike has been cheating on him. You don't just get away with banging all your girlfriend's best friends! Spike has made a fatal mistake with each pony he's fucked--and he'll continue to in the last two sex scenes before the resolution. The ponies he's banged are going to be mad at him, too, for these personal affronts, and Twilight gets more ammo for yelling at Spike during the resolution. This makes all the sex plot relevant and (furthermore) important for the development of all the major characters in this comic. 5. How does Pinkie know about Spike screwing Twilight and Rainbow Dash before her? Short answer: Pinkie = 4th-wall breaking + good observation skills Long answer: Pinkie's character is founded on her ability to straddle the line between the viewer believing she's just being silly and the viewer believing that she's epically intelligent with psychic powers. For example, on page 30, I have her respond to "Future Pinkie" before she says something to "Past Pinkie." This can be explained one of two (equally valid) ways: either she's breaking the 4th wall successfully and hearing herself from the future--or she's being silly, responding to herself while planning to say something to her "Past Self" later. Knowing how many times Spike came today before her is the same way: either she just has knowledge of what's in my head--or she was just really good at observing TwilightXSpike through the window and successfully guessed, owing to the way she saw Rainbow Dash treating Spike, that Rainbow Dash came on to Spike and made him cum once. 6. What exactly happens in the subplot with Dinky, Derpy, the Cakes, Dr. Whooves, and Vinyl? Short answer: Read the long answer =P Long answer: Two days before Spike's birthday party at 6:30PM, the Cakes plan to go out on the night of Spike's party in order to let Pinkie and her friends have the run of Sugarcube Corner, so they ask Derpy if she'll watch the twins on that night. Vinyl is bringing some sound equipment by at the same time, and she happens to run into Derpy, who's on her way back to her home next door. They have a short conversation. Vinyl, who's been interested in both stallions and mares for around half a year now (and who's always been rather spontaneous), starts wondering what it would be like to go on a date with Derpy, whom, Vinyl is sure, is a filly fooler. Vinyl and Derpy have never really crossed paths or talked before, but that doesn't really matter to Vinyl, who's mostly just curious. On the day of Spike's party at 5PM, the Cakes bring the twins next door to Derpy's house, as arranged. The Cakes go back home and start getting ready for their date and make sure everything is in order for Pinkie to open the store tomorrow. The twins are rambunctious because of the adventure they're on; Derpy proceeds to immediately have trouble with them, not even able to help get them under control with Dinky's help. After struggling with them for over an hour, Derpy and Dinky try to get everything out of Dinky's room, which is where the cradle is, so that the twins can't get their hands on things to make mischief with. But, while they are working on this, the twins escape down the stairs. Derpy, being Derpy, has left the front door to her house open, and the twins crawl right out--but, fortunately, hide in the bushes right outside the door, planning to surprise Derpy and Dinky when they come looking. The plan works, and, as Derpy and Dinky are trying to grab them and take them back inside, the twins run away into town. Neither Derpy nor Dinky sees where they went, and Derpy gets afraid she's lost them for good. Then she gets an idea as Dr. Whooves passes by on the street at -just the right moment-. Derpy begs him, and Dr. Whooves takes her in the Tardis back in time a few minutes to where the twins are hiding in the bushes. Derpy sneaks up behind the twins, catches them, and hands them over to Dinky to hold onto for a few minutes. While Dr. Hooves runs off to correct the inevitable apocalypse caused by the time paradox, Derpy and Dinky get control over the twins--more or less. Just as Derpy and Dinky manage to get the twins to sleep, the twins are woken back up again by the loud music from next door. Derpy leaves the twins with Dinky for a few minutes while she goes next door to tell them to keep the music down--and walks in on Spike cumming all over himself. After hijinks like putting Spike to bed on the couch, the party dies down. Vinyl, who has nowhere to be after the party, takes the opportunity to ask Derpy out in a casual way. Derpy asks Vinyl to come over and help take care of the twins by singing them to sleep. This is about 1AM. Vinyl sings the twins and Dinky to sleep immediately because it's late. Then Derpy and Vinyl hang out for a while and talk about work and random things. At 4AM, as Spike is waking up in Sugarcube Corner, the twins wake back up (as babies are wont to do). This wakes Dinky up, and Dinky tries to help get the twins under control again. This is the scene seen through Pinkie's window. Vinyl sings them to sleep again but this time puts Derpy, whose bedtime has long passed, to sleep too. Vinyl smiles and walks home happy. She doesn't run into Spike, though there was theoretically the chance for them to run into each other. ---Write-in Questions--- 7. When does Spike and Twilight Sparkle's egg hatch, and what comes out from it / What ever did happen to Spike's eggs? Answer: Most of the eggs went to the magic school in Canterlot. The one that Spike and Twilight kept is safe in the library in Spike's bed, incubating. The egg will finish gestating in 2-3 months Equestria time, so long after this comic ends. Then it will be up to Twilight to either hatch it with magic or Spike to wait until it hatches naturally. It will hold a baby dragon (since Spike is a dragon, and Twilight was a dragon when she was impregnated). Their child will be shown in the sequel. 8. Answer: Not a question =o But I'm glad you feel that way = ) 10. Where do babies come from? :< Answer: Queefing and afterbirth. => 11. Ehhhh, whats a knot? :P Answer: A knot is an organ of ovoid shape called the bulbus glandis. It is made of erectile tissue and is situated at the base of the external portion of an erect canid penis. It is part of the penis in both vulgar and technical terms. It has nothing to do with the penis bone (baculum); however, both have a function in mating. Since canid penes erect only partially prior to mating, the baculum maintains stiffness in the penis during the initial penetration. During mating, the bulbus glandis gradually erects, loosening the vagina by degrees. A canid cannot naturally ejaculate semen until the bulbis glandis is adequately erect; the fluid ejaculated before and after semen ejaculation is prostatic fluid (precum), which lubricates the mating. When the bulbis glandis erects inside the bitch to the point where it can no longer be tugged out, this is called a tie. It is possible for the male to ejaculate outside of a tie so long as the bulbus glandis is adequately erect. From personal experience: it is not very pleasurable for the stud to cum before tying. While not tying often saves the bitch pain (unless that mating has lasted for a long time and she is very wet), tying often causes both the stud and bitch to orgasm. The bitch orgasming physically moves semen up the vaginal canal and into the uterus, increasing the chances of pregnancy. In addition to not making the bitch orgasm, not tying also allows semen to leak from the vagina, which further reduces the chances of pregnancy. Once the stud cums, he may very well get oversensitive and not enjoy his knot being tugged on, which is often what is done during dildogging. This is why a stud will often whine and try to pull away while being stimulated like this. Being that erect also causes the area to be sore, which is why studs lick themselves when they are erect outside of a bitch--to get themselves to soften. ...Anyway, while knots are only found on canines on earth, dragons are often represented as having knots. Personally, I do not think this is incorrect in the slightest since dragons are fictional, and the feature might have just as well developed independently in both (classification) families. Are dragons cross fertile with ponies? Answer: In the universe of this comic, no. Spike was only able to impregnate Twilight because Twilight was a dragon at the time. 13. Where ia Molestia? X3 Answer: Neither the character Molestia nor the character Trollestia exists in the universe of the comic. Though Celesitia in the canon series is a bit of a troll, often teaching the mane 6 things using less-than-kosher methods, she is still Celestia. Celestia's initial plot of getting Twilight to lay eggs for the magic school and getting Twilight and Spike together in the process is Celestia showing her troll side. 14. Will Spike get with any males? Answer: Kit is straight and doesn't enjoy drawing M/M sex, and (though I'm pan) I don't think Spike is any more than slightly curious about what M/M sex is like. It is possible if Kit and I decide it's absolutely plot necessary in the sequel, but it's very unlikely. 15. It seems there are a lot of romance options between Pinkie Pie and Spike. Will they become each other's "special somepony?" Answer: In this comic's canon, no. If we get enough in donations for alternate endings, yes! 18. Why use horse anatomy instead of more visually pleasing humanlike anatomy? Answer: Honestly, because I like the horse anatomy. Kit likes the humanlike anatomy, and we've tried both during this comic. We'll take a viewer poll on which to use for the sequel. ---Shoutout--- EVERYONE WHO'S DONATED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
