"description": "A lot of things have changed in Pelican Town ever since Kyanka first arrived. The city shark brought has done a lot in bettering the lives of the community, from fixing the community center, assisting Mayor Lewis in reestablishing communications with Calico Desert via the brand new bus stop, assisting in building the new movie theater, and most importantly, helping Willy rebuild his ship so he could take folk to the brand new vacation spot, Ginger Island, which Kyanka has also had a hand in fixing up. In fact, she had such an impact on the townsfolk that when she started to bring in some city ideas to the town, no one really seemed to mind.\n\nWhile Kyanka herself had no intentions in changing the ways of the town, she did have a few old habits that she brought with her now that she was comfortable living in Pelican Town. For starters, marrying Penny had them not exchanging rings, as most couples do, but exchanging collars, something Kyanka insisted they do. The simple act was quite the visual symbol of their love, as neither one could be seen without their collars since, with both Vincent and Jaz even noting how cute it looked on Penny during her lessons with the kids.\n\nHowever, one other activity Kyanka brought from the city was strictly limited to just Penny, something the two did fairly regularly on the farm, with today being their first time outside. Stepping out of Willy's ship, Kyanka would take a quick look at Ginger Island before turning to look at her wife.
