"writing": "A bright, red light was steadily cutting through the darkness of the cosmos, moving at a rate faster than one could ever really imagine. \"When even was the last one?\" Several civilizations had seen this red comet coursing through the sky; some hypothesized it was some superheated comet, some went as far as to assume it was some miraculous phenomenon, a few tribal cultures even thought it was a God passing through the sky to watch over them. In a way, they were all correct. Mira had lost track of time quickly when he'd begun this most recent traveling session, a common occurrence for him, flying across the vast expanse. He shot passed various planets, crossed solar systems and galaxies, even slammed directly through a number of heavenly bodies. \"Hmm... It's been too long since I landed anywhere, I might as well land here.\" Many have hypothesized what it would take to stop a comet hurtling through space, incredibly advanced devices, perhaps simply colliding with a larger object to catch it, but this one simply stopped dead in its tracks in the middle of space. The great, glowing redness of the tail slowly fading away into nothingness as, instead of some floating space rock, there stood a being. A man, it would seem from the outside, standing with his arms folded in the vacuum of space, staring down at a large, blue-colored planet. His form was completely covered in a velvety red fur, mixed with a series of white and black spots going along his shoulders, arms, and back. His eyes were a deep, shining red coloration throughout that beamed with a similar brilliance to the energy that surrounded him. His build was broad and strong, truly befitting an Adonis like himself. He knew nothing of this place, save for the life energy that coursed all across it. They were populated to say the least, perhaps several million people when rounded up and even seemed fairly advanced as well. One particular spot garnered his attention, however. A large explosion, visible to him from high on his perch, went off in a large space near the nucleus of the surface, quickly followed by a significant decrease in the life energy available. \"Ah, I see.\" Mira would crack his neck before he began making his descent towards the impact point of the explosion, his body quickly being surrounded by a white hot aura of energy as he slammed down through the atmosphere of this alien planet. The explosion had left a very large crater on the surface he descended upon, scorched completely black in stark contrast to the fine blue in the rest of the area. As he made his final push downwards, the entire surrounding area was assaulted by a colossal thunderclap, sending ripples through the sky for hundreds of miles, like a bullet the size of a moon smashed into their air space.\n\n His body quickly cooled down as he got lower and lower, the scalding aura slowly melting away to reveal his dark fur beneath it. His form was tall, broad, imposing, covered in a mixture of red, white, and black spots all across him. His eyes, glowing rings of various red hues, would scan across the landscape. At least within the vicinity of this blast radius, there was no life energy remaining. Slowly, he circled around the area. Within the pit, not even ruins remained, but along the rim of it lay several buildings, all of which were crumbling and deteriorated. Still, no life energy. It wasn't the first time Mira had seen such a thing; many species he'd come across in the past had learned how to manipulate matter and elements, to weaponize the things their planet was made of. He saw it almost as often as he saw places caught in a perpetual tribal society. These ones always tended to be less fun. A deep sigh erupted from the man, his pointed ears falling backwards momentarily before sticking right back up straight. With one more glance to the large pit, he took to the air, flying his way in another direction. The moment he began his propulsion forward, another deafening thunderclap would echo through the area. Now people were beginning to become aware of something unexpected. The very air would be split as Mira flew across the skyline, looking for the remainder of whatever civilization existed here. He could still sense a good deal of life energy in every direction; there was no shortage.\n\nAs this unidentified object flew at an alarming speed through the air, Mira would pass over a dozen or more cities, towns, and colonies. At first, some would think it was an incoming tornado or some kind of weather phenomenon. This would remain unanswered even as the beast-man finally crossed them. His speed made visibility impossible, especially with the colossal gust of destructive wind that was quick to follow behind him. He was looking for the largest collection of life energy upon the planet, and he could feel it radiating in the distance like a beating heart.\n\nAs Mira grew closer and closer to this city, the feeling of the energy would pump and pound. His heart rate had grown faster as he approached; perhaps they were capable of some kind of radio transmission? When he finally saw it in the distance, it was quite towering: several colossal, dark-colored buildings reaching high up into the sky, each bearing some equally colossal banner that stretched down along it with some symbol emblazoned upon its surface. It would seem this was some manner of kingdom. Mira had had no plans of stopping his forward momentum as he approached the city, but as he grew closer, he could see what was being prepared for him: weapons of war. Tanks, turrets, and soldiers stood in opposition to him, dressed in some strange mixture of thick fibers and metals. This place seemed to have a confusing combination of technologies. More investigation was required. Mira finally came to an abrupt halt in front of this bold wall and stared down at every barrel trained on him, the residual force of his trip shooting passed him soon after with a roar of wind and debris. Several soldiers were thrown to the ground from his sheer presence. He made no motion to attack them; instead, he waited, his arms crossing over his chest once more as one brow raised upwards, curious as to their reasons for this greeting. Slowly, a platform was hoisted up into the air, a creature dressed in an assortment of ornate robes upon it. His visage seemed sickly and meek, an emaciated face of grey skin and pale, sunken eyes. His eyes held an intense rage within them, brow furrowed and dull, yellow teeth bared. His seemed to hold a small device in one hand that slowly and weakly lifted up to its mouth. Moments later, a loud sound of crackling would fill the area as speakers embedded in the tanks began to flare to life. \"Creature!\" It called forth, \"You stand in the presence... of the great King Paristance III. For what reason do you approach my kingdom and offend me with your audience?!\" Every word was raspy and practically hissed out, several of the soldiers flinching with each word this shriveled creature was letting loose. \"You will state your purpose and then prostrate yourself before my grand presence, you unwashed mutt!\"\n\nMira's head would tilt softly to the side as he listened to this creature speak so brashly against him, his expression never really changing as he remained suspended in the air before them all. \"SPEAK, YOU IMPERTINENT WELP!\" The king finally screeched towards him, \"Or my soldiers will decimate you where you stand! You should be so honored to have had this long to try my patience, beast!\"\n\nHis maw would slowly wrinkle as his teeth were slightly bared, his ears pointing forwards toward the small creature. \"Have you forgotten how to speak, beast!? Has my divine presence left you speechle-...\" Suddenly the raspy voice was cut short. Mira hadn't moved from his position, and slowly the curious soldiers turned to gaze upon the man they called king. Where he once stood, now only the fanciful robes he'd been wearing remained, collapsed down onto the ground. Above them, however, floated the sickly creature. Much like its face, its entire body was emaciated, grey and shriveled. Weak. His entire form was covered in a bright, red radiance that pulsed and moved like a dense plasma covering his entire form. Several weapons were dropped to the ground as soldiers turned back to Mira. His eyes were focused upon the creature suspended in air, himself now slowly lowering to the surface of the planet. There was a moment of hesitation before the weapons finally began discharging towards the odd visitor within their sights. The battlefield was quickly filled with the sounds of gunfire, all ringing out simultaneously. With the blue clouds of dust from the ground below slowly receding the soldiers, as well as any onlookers, would see an overwhelmingly bright, glowing red light. Now, along with the king who was held firmly in the sky, were hundreds of discharged bullets, shells, and every other type of ammunition, suspended in the air. Mira stood upon the ground of this planet, one hand raised flat at the army before him, his eyes never moving from the man who'd claimed divinity. \"I always find planets like this one to be more effort than they're worth.\" He finally began to speak, the sound of his voice boomed all around evenly, as if he was stood directly beside every single ear that heard it, \"Mortals like yourself are more and more common wherever I stop, and my patience grows thinner with each one.\" Steadily, the king would be carried over towards the large wolf-man who kept him in the air and, once he was directly before Mira, the beast would snear, \"Since you asked, however, I suppose I can make my introduction.\" With this, the red, glowing plasma would drop every armament held to the ground below, unperturbed, and instead would begin radiating up from Mira's body. At first, it would appear that a bright lava had begun leaking out of the creature from all angles and pooling down along the floor, but steadily it rose up and filled the air all around them. As the energy filled the area, Mira's form began to expand and grow, steadily increasing in size. Within moments his form was towering over the wall before him, dwarfing the soldiers and the wall of the kingdom. A few moments more, and he was halfway as tall as the spires that decorated the skyline of this kingdom, and finally he would reach the point where he was towering above even those gaudy structures. All the while, the king would be carried up to remain at eye level with the space-faring beast. When his ascent finally stopped, Mira's head would be large enough that the emasciated creature wouldn't even appear as a dot on the end of his nose, his eyes blotting out vision like staring straight into the sun, and his very breath feeling like the gust of a mighty wind. \"I am Mira Ceti, and I have come to see this planet for myself. Whatever status you hold on this planet is equally infinitesimal to me as whatever civilization you belong to.\"\n\nMira would remain in this colossal state for several moments as his booming voice reached the point where it echoed evenly across the entirety of the planet's surface, but soon his point had been made. Just as quickly as he'd expanded his form, he shrank back down, watching as the buildings returned to blocking his view and filling the area. When he finally got back to the size he'd started with, Mira would notice that every single soldier that had stood against him was now laid upon the ground, prostrated before him, several of them babbling to themselves. It was then that his attention returned to this “king”, who was now snivelling and even appeared to be crying quite loudly within the confines of his plasma. Suddenly, the little creature would find the suspending aura removed as he plummeted to the ground from several feet up, embarrassingly flopping down into the dirt below. Within seconds, he was scrambling onto all fours, keeping his head firmly down as he crawled up to Mira's feet. Yes, this was more like it. He would glance up to the large buildings before him, watching through every window that dotted along them to see people, creatures, all watching in stunned horror and amazement and a small smile would tug along the sides of his maw.\n\nIt took a few moments but the king would finally begin forming cohesive words once again, \"P-p-please... Please sir... M-Mira? Forgive my... My earlier transgressions I did not... WE did not understand who we stood before!\" He would rise up only to outstretch his hands, pleading up to the deity they now all seemed to revere, \"What... What tribute do you desire!? My kingdom, this planet, it is all at your disposal, tell me what you desire and I shall give it to you tenfold!\" After these defeated pleas were bawled out from the disgraced monarch, the entire city fell into a dead silence, only the sounds of the wind whistling on. A small chuckle would break this silence, deep and hearty. This first chuckle would be continued with a loud laugh that was chained quickly by several more. The soldiers, the king, and the entirety of the kingdom watching, saw Mira bursting out into a large, echoing fit of laughter. One of his clawed hands would reach and hold his chest when the laughter came to a steady close and his previously stoic face was now stretched into a devilish grin. \"Your people and your food. Bring me the most attractive of your kind and your best food, I will have my fill and, perhaps, I will allow your planet to exist once I am finished.\"\n\nThe crowd was silent to his demands for only a moment before the emaciated former king would rise up from his knees and turned to the soldiers, \"YOU HEARD HIM! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO! GO NOW!\" A panicked scramble would travel through the crowd as they all funneled back into the city, abandoning their weapons, armor, and technology along the way to give them less to carry upon their run. Even the king himself would rush into the city to go about fulfilling these orders. Mira's grin remained as he watched the entire kingdom erupt into chaos as people gathered their food, and whichever of them would be tributed to Mira's desires were grabbed and made ready for it. Slowly Mira would rise off of the ground and began slowly making his way into the large city, his hands folded behind his back as he got ready for his entertainment. Perhaps civilizations like this weren't so bad after all.\n",

When his ascent finally stopped, Mira&#039;s head would be large enough that the emasciated creature wouldn&#039;t even appear as a dot on the end of his nose, his eyes blotting out vision like staring straight into the sun, and his very breath feeling like the gust of a mighty wind. &quot;I am Mira Ceti, and I have come to see this planet for myself. Whatever status you hold on this planet is equally infinitesimal&nbsp;&nbsp;to me as&nbsp;&nbsp;whatever civilization you belong to.&quot;<br /><br />Mira would remain in this colossal state for several moments as his booming voice reached the point where it echoed evenly across the entirety of the planet&#039;s surface, but soon his point had been made. Just as quickly as he&#039;d expanded his form, he shrank back down, watching as the buildings returned to blocking his view and filling the area. When he finally got back to the size he&#039;d started with, Mira would notice that every single soldier that had stood against him was now laid upon the ground, prostrated before him, several of them babbling to themselves. It was then that his attention returned to this &ldquo;king&rdquo;, who was now snivelling and even appeared to be crying quite loudly within the confines of his plasma. Suddenly, the little creature would find the suspending aura removed as he plummeted to the ground from several feet up, embarrassingly flopping down into the dirt below. Within seconds, he was scrambling onto all fours, keeping his head firmly down as he crawled up to Mira&#039;s feet. Yes, this was more like it. He would glance up to the large buildings before him, watching through every window that dotted along them to see people, creatures, all watching in stunned horror and amazement and a small smile would tug along the sides of his maw.<br /><br />It took a few moments but the king would finally begin forming cohesive words once again, &quot;P-p-please... Please sir... M-Mira? Forgive my... My earlier transgressions I did not... WE did not understand who we stood before!&quot; He would rise up only to outstretch his hands, pleading up to the deity they now all seemed to revere, &quot;What... What tribute do you desire!? My kingdom, this planet, it is all at your disposal, tell me what you desire and I shall give it to you tenfold!&quot; After these defeated pleas were bawled out from the disgraced monarch, the entire city fell into a dead silence, only the sounds of the wind whistling on. &quot;Your people and your food. Bring me the most attractive of your kind and your best food, I will have my fill and, perhaps, I will allow your planet to exist once I am finished.&quot;<br /><br />The crowd was silent to his demands for only a moment before the emaciated former king would rise up from his knees and turned to the soldiers, &quot;YOU HEARD HIM! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO! GO NOW!&quot; A panicked scramble would travel through the crowd as they all funneled back into the city, abandoning their weapons, armor, and technology along the way to give them less to carry upon their run. Even the king himself would rush into the city to go about fulfilling these orders. Mira&#039;s grin remained as he watched the entire kingdom erupt into chaos as people gathered their food, and whichever of them would be tributed to Mira&#039;s desires were grabbed and made ready for it. Slowly Mira would rise off of the ground and began slowly making his way into the large city, his hands folded behind his back as he got ready for his entertainment. Perhaps civilizations like this weren&#039;t so bad after all.<br /></span>",
