On the rat's tail a tall black wolf gives chase sending black light arrow after black light arrow from his Quincy bow as he jumps from rooftop to rooftop. As the rat moves dodging light arrows a fox in a long red coat appears in his path with two handguns drawn. The rat quickly jumps into an alleyway as the fox fires his guns just to barely miss being impaled by two black light arrows. The fox takes to the roofs following the wolf over the alleyways only to see the rat make his way across a short parking lot ducking into a small grocery store where Gribbidian solders seem to have set up base. \n\n\"Damn it!\" The fox says. \"They've got some nerve setting up camp in out territory Nix.\"\n\nThe wolf responding to his name turns smirking at the fox.\n\n\"Gribbidians only know conquest Nideck.\" Nix says. \"They understand force and so we respond to them with force.\"\n\nThe Gribbidian solders outside the grocery store gather together aiming rifles at the top of the building Nix and Nideck firing energy pulses forcing the two to duck down keeping them pinned to the rooftop of the building Nix's bow disappearing.\n\n\"Imperial trash!\" Nideck cries changing the settings on his handguns. \"Setting for multiple beam shot pattern, kill setting disintegration!\"\n\nJust as Nideck set up to fire Nix pulls him back roughly glaring into his eyes.\n\n\"Stop this, that's an order!\" Nix cries. \"My father's orders did not authorize the use of deadly force so no disintegration!\"\n\n\"Are you mad?!\" Nideck cries. \"They've violated the Darkfang borders once again and they set up an outpost in the grocery store of a town they destroyed for refusing to bow! You know as well as I the blood of those who dies in this town cry out to be avenged! We're in the field not his lordship, we must act and show these pigs we wont allow this. We should kill them all and if we kill the spy take his corpse back. What would we do to him anyways? Waste power to freeze him? We're at war with Gribbidia and each shot they fire at us is a kill shot! It would take us extra time to tie them up and if they break the bonds that tie them they'll kill us anyway! I refuse to die because my commanding officer refuses to allow kill shots! Give the order, let me end them!\"\n\nNix lets out a long sigh and shakes his head.\n\n\"I'll do it.\" Nix says with a sad look on his face.\"They shouldn't suffer no matter their crimes, none should be made to suffer in the end.\" Slowly Nix's bow of black right reforms in has hand only this time the center of the bow grows out into a pentacle. With a bomb Nix seems to disappear and reappear over the solders. \"Licht Regen!!\"\n\nBlack light arrows start firing down on the solders like a rain before they can react with more than seconds of screams before deafening silence. As the dust clears and Nix lands on the ground no bodies are seen only rifles with little holes shot through random places. Nideck jumps down beside Nix glancing around with both guns in hands. Nix slowly makes his way to the door and slightly pushes it open enough see in.\n\n\"Gribbidian solders!\" Nix yells in. \"This is General Nix Bloodpaw. You have violated the borders of the lands we Darkfangs protect. This is your only chance, throw out your weapons and surrender. You have my word no one will harm you if you surrender. If you fail to comply you're lives are over. You've seen my power, don't force me to destroy you.\"\n\nAll of a sudden two black blurs come flying through the door reducing it to splinters. Nix and Nideck are struck across the face with such force they go flying back across the parking lot striking the building the two first eyed the store. Nideck rubs the side of his face not seeing Nix wasn't moving.\n\n\"Damn, that smarts.\" Nideck says as he focuses his vision seeing what struck them. Two large beings covered form head to toe in armor slowly walk across the parking lot. The armor is made in such a way one couldn't see what these beings are only that they're big. \"Shit! Gribbidian Magitek exo-frames! This is bad, Nix?!\" Nideck turns to see Nix knocked out. \"Nix! Talk to me man!\"\n\nA low deep sounding voice with an electronic distortion comes from one of the exo-frames.\n\n\"You can take them.\" The leader exo-frame's voice sounds as the exo-frame backs off. \"The fox's powers are rather strong, one on one should give research all they need to make an assessment.\"\n\nThe advancing exo-frame stops raising it's arm and fires a beam causing the very air to grow cold. The beam starts to freeze the very air around Nideck causing him to grab Nix and dash out. The exo-frame fires again Nideck just barely able to dodge the beam hitting a patch of green grass causing it to wither up, turn black and crumble to dust. \n\n\"Are you people nuts?\" Nideck cries. \"A biogenic weapon! The use of biogenic weapons was banned by all races! Even biogenic magics are frowned on! It's a war crime...\"\n\nAnother beam fires from the exo-frame and sets fire to the very air around Nideck forcing him back.\n\n\"It isn't about what's right.\" The leader exo-frame says. \"It's about bringing order to chaos, it's about bringing these lands back from the rotten corruption of it's current rulers. Only Gribbidian rule can bring order into this chaos through the death of the current rulers. The identity of the wolf is confirmed, General Bloodpaw is one the Darkfang princes, finish the fox and kill Bloodpaw!\"\n\nThe attacking exo-frame fires a beam again hitting Nideck in the shoulder throwing him back as he forced to drop Nix. The attacking exo-frame charges in and grabs Nideck's shoulders squeezing them. The bones slowly cracking can be heard as the grip slowly tightens causing the fox to scream louder the tighter the grip gets. The leader exo-frame looks not paying attention to the sound of a loud intake of breath coming from Nix as he rises his back turned to everyone. A black light arrow surrounded by a red aura is fired so fast no one sees Nix turn to do it, the arrow flies through the exo-frame's arms crushing Nideck's shoulders severing them at the elbows. A scream comes from the exo-frame's operator as the severed stump arms of the machine spark from the damage blood falls like water from the stumps as well. A low laugh comes from Nix.\n\n\"Quit whining imperial dog!\" Nix says in a voice sounding like he's possessed. The wolf turns showing his face covered by a hollow's mask and his eyes nothing more than a black lifeless mass. \"You had far worse in mind for my host and I can't allow that.\" The wolf slowly walks over to one of Nideck's guns picking it up. He looks at it playing with the settings as he makes his way to the damaged exo-frame. \"Don't worry you wont die as long as we stop the bleeding.\" Before the exo-frame's operator can protest the wolf grabs each bleeding stump inside the exo-frame and fires a shot across them cauterizing the wound. \"You'll Just be without a sex life until they replace your arms or should I say if they replace your arms.\"\n\nNideck looks up through his pain at the wolf seeing the mask and shutters as the wolf kneels down by him. The masked wolf's paw reaches into his coat pulling out a scanner assessing Nideck's injuries.\n\n“You shouldn't worry about me.” Nideck says. “That other one could attack at any moment.”\n\n“He isn't stupid, he wont blindly charge in or attack.” The wolf says. “We have time, we just don't have anything to dull your pain or fix your bones.”\n\n“It was a waste of time to assist my subordinate, to fail the empire means death.” The leader exo-frame says in that electronic distorted voice. With that the other exo-frame explodes. “I apologize, he knew to fail would mean death, we all do.” The leader exo-frame sighs. “Anyways, I'd rather talk about you. Interesting that a Quincy arrow could break through this new exo-frame's armor. I'm assuming that's because of you hollow Namook. Your file doesn't do you justice, your power was ranked no higher than an Adjuchas class hollow but it's clear by what you did to my subordinate even with him wearing that exo-frame and the power you displayed a split second after firing the arrow you're a Vasto Lorde.”\n\n“What does it matter?” Namook in control of Nix says glancing at the leader exo-frame. “You can assess me all you like but it doesn't change the fact you can't update that with your people, when your airships bombed this place you turned this into a communication dead zone for the next 100 years. With only you and the spy left you have no options left, both your lives are over.”\n\n“At that so is the fox's life.” The leader exo-frame says. “My scanners show my subordinate did a lot more damage than you're thinking. Not only do I see internal bleeding and the crushed shoulder bones it seems he has a poison slowly running through his blood. You'll find a rather large set of punctures on each shoulder if you don't believe me.”\n\nNamook looks over Nideck's shoulders and growls. The leader exo-frame tosses a pad at Namook.\n\n“You bastard!” Namook cries. “How dare you.” \n\n“I have a med kit that had the cure and it can stabilize him.” The leader exo-frame says. “Read it over and give me only an answer.”\n\nNamook reads the pad and gasps looking up at the leader exo-frame confused.\n\n“Why?” Namook asks.\n\n“Does it matter?” The leader exo-frame asks.”\n\n“No.” Namook says as he crushes the pad. “Leave my sight.”\n\n“The med kit is inside with your original target.” The leader exo-frame says. Metal glider wings extend from his back and he flies off.\n\n“What the hell?!” The spy screams running out of the grocery story. “Captain! You can't leave me here!”\n\nBefore the spy can get too far Namook disappears instantly appearing behind the rat smacking him hard in the back of the neck with his wrist knocking the rat out. Namook soon has the med kit and drags the spy over near Nideck. Namook than goes silent as he returns control to Nix letting him know what happened. Learning everything Nix goes to work preforming first aid on Nideck. Soon Nix stops to the sound of an airship and looks up to a snow white airship descending to land in the parking lot. A small doorway parts open and a ramp comes down allowing Darkfang solders come to pour out to gather around Nix. They all salute Nix and one of the solders, a lizard steps forward.\n\n“General Bloodpaw, sir!” The lizard says. “Your orders?”\n\n“At ease solders.” Nix says. “Take this Gribbidian spy to the bring and get a medical team out here to take Nideck to a med lab.”\n\nAt once the solders move collecting the spy and soon medics come out with a card. Getting Nideck on a cart they take him off into the airship. Nix takes a few more glances around before he orders the withdraw. He and the Darkfang solders file into the airship.
