the closer you are to the big ports the more foreign cars you’ll find. I’d just look around. A Peugeot? Or maybe some old jap car? The problem is you need to find a shell. those things were crap in pretty much every way, so you need to find something you can put a new motor/etc in without feeling guilty.

Malala shut her laptop and let it lay on her belly for a moment. She looked up at the ceiling and giggled before moving the lappy to her nightstand and rolling back over to sleep. The sun wasn’t even up yet, but that’s how it usually was when Hardtop’s mom was working. She woke up extra early just to tell him bye today, and now she was pretty sure she wasn’t gonna get back to sleep. Damnit hardtop, why can’t you guys get internet in the cab? She groaned and pulled another fluffy pillow up on her head to shield her sensitive eyes from the light coming through her heavy black curtains.
She was uncovered accept for her head buried in pillows. The summer in Tennessee burned her up and her parents’ tropical upbringing didn’t help any. Anything less than 80 degrees and they felt like they needed heat on, meanwhile Malala who was acclimated to cooler climes was left to sweat. Her batgirl boyshorts were more than enough to keep her comfortable, and if it wasn’t for her parents’ habit of storming in her room to wake her, she probably wouldn’t bother with them, either.
This summer had been boring. She’d not had any extracurriculars that would carry her through the summer, and all of her D&D and V:TM friends were busy or gone doing other stuff. She met Hardtop messing around online. He had a really low-levelled Roegadyn and she played a Lala, of course. He didn’t like the game much, but he played a lot longer because they had fun. When he had enough though, he talked her into getting steam, and he even bought her a bunch of games. Blazblue, Street Fighter 4, Guacamele, and her favorite, Dragon’s Crown. He liked playing a fighter, because shield she guessed, and she liked playing elf, because “LOLI ELVES OMIGAW,” in her own words.
Her clock had altered easily to his schedule of being awake gaming all night(because that’s when his mother was parked sleeping) and sleeping in the day, as she was naturally nocturnal. Her parents had shown concern a few times, but since she didn’t have anything else and there were many worse things she could be doing, they left her to her own devices. She’d gotten pretty good at his favorite games, and even turned him onto one that she liked a lot, Skullgirls. He complained for hours about the mechanics and how there were balancing issues, but she knew he’d stick around for the sexy anime babes. She giggled and rolled over on her back, flopping the big turtle plushie off of her face. Yeah… totally not going back to sleep for awhile... she thought to herself.
She took a deep sigh and sat up, looking to the corner of the room where her PC sat. Welp, might as well… She swung her legs out of the bed and walked to her heavily padded chair, plopped her butt down, and turned to the console in front of her. There were three fighter-plane style covered toggle switches on the diamond-plate box, the first making bringing a quiet hum as the beast came to life, the second bringing a glow from the front and sides as the innards of the console were exposed through the plexiglass walls, and the third turning on the pumps that radiated the mineral oil and kept it cool. The three screens, organized to wrap around her head almost 120 degrees, began waking up as well, all coming alive at once with the windows7 startup screen. She opened steam and was online quickly, opening SF4 and getting into one of her favorite lobbies. “Alright…” She said out loud as she put on her headset and pulled her fight stick from the table beside her, moving it to her front and suctioning it to the table. “Let’s kick some ass, Poison.”
