"Tail Tale is a PC visual novel video game released in Japan only, in 2000, by a developer called Circus. A fan translation has been done by a member of WildCritters. It is sorted, by the developer, as Volume 2 of "Yaminabe Aries ~Ashita he no Chosenjyou~" ("Dark Pan Aries ~Challenge Literature Towards Tomorrow~"), which is a collection of unrelated visual novel stories. Classified as an adventure game, Tail Tale is based on Kemono Hentai, and claimed to be the first of its own kind. It has an English fan-translation by members of Wild critters."
As far as I know, first time people that weren’t Japanese saw it was when someone posted screenshots from the game in the forum of agnph. Everyone was quite shocked that, not only a visual novel with furry hentai existed but it looked good! After quite some time it got a fan translation by the folks of wildcritters, thanks for the work guys! As the wiki says, the game is a visual novel, so it’s not for everyone; I recommend if for anyone that like a good story and straight furry hentai though, as that’s what the game offers. Yeah, there’s quite some male characters but it’s still a straight furry hentai game, as it’s focused on the relationship of Rick and Ran after all.

2 - Nap Zack aka nerd butt! Brother of the protagonist. Unlike his big brother, the feline with black fur had a weak hear ever since he was a child so spend most of his time in their home. Maybe it’s because he likes to read – and it’s smarter than Rick, as he says so himself- game – but the feline is always with his glasses. After their father’s disappearance and the death of their mother, they’re always together, making Napp aware and worried about Rick’s dream of following their father to the other world.

3 - Rick/Lick Zack aka protagonist butt! The protagonist (duh), the white cat takes care of Napp, his sick brother without complaining, both felines living in the village of Bastok. Their father was a scholar that discovered the existence of another world, below the clouds. Eventually, the father (sadly we never see him in the game) completed a plane and flew it to that other world, making the church (called Holy Order) spread the lie that he was caught and executed, as even talking about other world was a heresy.

4 - Zail aka best butt! (>:3) Born in a wealthy family, he didn’t minded hanging out with poor kids like Rick. A few years older than Rick, he moved to Midel where he could attend the academy. After he finished it, he went for the entrance exam of the Holy Order, becoming one of their officials ever since.

5 - Tiegel aka cutest butt! He and Mag are Rick's friends. Both cats work in the coal mine, to the west of the town of Midel. And…uh that’s it really. They only showed up in one scene and we never heard from them again. So I really had to made up a lot of stuff for them in my story…

It's supposed to be the game already translated, can anyone please check and let us know? I already have game translated so I dunno if the things I already did to make it work will make the one in the link work from the start or even get in the way somehow. Would be better if someone that never downloaded game before check link, to see if it's already going to be in english or not from the get go!
Title is a nod to a small and cute rivalry thing between cats that have stripe patterns at the end and others that are all fluffy at the end. You can see more about it in the game.
