"description": "1. Fox could admit that he and Wolf had a very unconventional relationship with one another. On one paw, they were rivals - they had taken more than enough potshots at one another while swimming within the starry nothingness that was space for this not to be clear. Yet on the other paw, they weren't exactly enemies. Sure, when it came to business there was no doubt about what the score was, but when not on on a job that caused them to naturally interact with one another...well...\n\n- - - - - \n\n2. Wolves...are different from foxes. This is something Fox Mccloud learned very quickly after realizing that it was Wolf O' Donnell who had 'broken' into his apartment...somehow. The cheeky bastard was completely unrepentant for his actions as he looked the wet vulpine up and down, his indigo eyes narrowing slightly as he took in the curve of Fox's torso. A wet lick of his broad tongue against the rim of his upper lip made Mccloud roll his eyes as he lowered his pistol from where it was aimed at the lupine's chest.\n\nIt had been almost a month since he and the other mercenary had encountered one another, and truth be told Fox had forgotten about the whole 'saving Wolf's life' thing, having chalked it up to just another day in his whacky fun filled life. (Not.) After all, he had a crew that were very close to mutinying for the 'extended vacation' the lot had been put on, a well-worn ship that was in desperate need of maintenance, friends who wanted their loans repaid, and a government that wanted him to work pro bono. So the thought of Wolf and his well-being was a far removed one from Fox's mind.\n\nAnd then the overly tall bastard had made dinner...\n\n- - - - - \n\n3. Fox liked to dance, but Fox was a high profile celebrity. This created a problem for him, as most places he tried to go to ended up with him being followed around by either the media, crazed fans, angry thugs looking to beat up on the 'pretty boi', or old rivals who wanted to try and one-up him. It was because of this that Fox A, never went out if he were tired, B, had most of his groceries brought to his apartment, and C, usually carried at least two pistols with him at all times when he did decide to go outside.\n\nThese three facts were usually the reasons why he more often than not stayed on the Great Fox instead of going home; however, Peppy had told him to go home since he was 'bouncing off the walls' as it were, and thus that was why he was at his apartment that month.\n\nIt was only later that Fox could admit that the older hare was right, as he was feeling rather...pent up. And that meant that there was only one thing he could do to help himself unwind. And only one place he could do to do it in peace.\n\nThe Mischief Maker.\n\nMM was an expensive club made for celebrities like himself to go and relax without fear of being shadowed by someone with an agenda - the security at the door had license to shoot first and ask questions never. With this in mind Fox often found himself going to the club to shake off the excess stress he had built up over the months without fear of having someone shove either a gun or microphone in front of his muzzle. Yet, of course, some force in his life seemed to like to toy with him because on the night he had decided to go out who should he run into if not Wolf O' Donnell. The smug bastard had seemed to be waiting for him because just as the vulpine walked through the door of the warehouse the old lupine turned in his seat at the bar, indigo eyes twinkling as he caught sight of the smaller man, and then waved at Fox.\n\nOf course Fox had been ready for a fight, because for all the years he had been going to MM he had never once seen the other male frequent the club.\n\nBefore he could do anything though, the taller man got up from his seat, shrugged himself out of the laser resistant armor he had been wearing, and then walked out onto the dance floor without a word spoken his rival. Fox took several moments to reassess what just happened, almost certain that the lupine was going to try something...especially after that move he had pulled on their...dinner date two weeks ago. Yet in turning to watch the older man strut his stuff out on the smokey dance room floor...Fox had to admit that maybe he was wrong and Wolf was just there to relax the same as him?\n\nNot sure but deciding not to question it, Fox went over to a secluded table, stripped himself out of the clothes he had one, strapped on his favorite harness, and then went to town on the dance floor himself.\n\nSwaying his hips to the beat of the music, the leader of the Star Fox mercenaries let the troubles of the month wash themselves out from his soul as the techno/trance blasting from the speakers rolled throughout his belly like molten fire. How many hours passed would never be known to Fox, as he continued to dance and dance and dance until something hard and unyielding brushed against his backside. Not wanting to stop, as this was his moment to be free of his usual inhibitions, Fox didn't fight it as he felt a strong hand encircle his torso, drawing him back into a body that was oh-so warm and soft. The scent of a stronger male filled his senses, making his long buried desires flare up like a thunderstorm. Tail lifted as his instincts sought to entice the other behind him, Fox gasped when a large bulge rubbed up against the cleft of his foxy buns.\n\nTurning his head to the side to see who it was who was doing so many sinfully good things to him, Mccloud was not surprised to see indigo eyes lustfully staring back at him.\n\n- - - - - \n\n4. Fox liked being a mercenary, as there was a certain freedom to be had in traveling the starry void of space doing work that most people either found too dangerous or too insane to do. However, that didn't mean that anything about this lifestyle was as glitz and glam as Corneria media often played it out to be. Seriously, between fighting off space pirates, body snatching A.I.s, and brain sucking insects, you had to had a lot of resolve to keep doing this line of work, yet the most frustrating aspect out of everything one often had to deal with in this line of work was negotiating with employers. Especially government officials who thought that medals and plaques were enough to both compensate him for his work and keep him on their payroll.\n\nFox was a patient Cornerian, having been taught by Peppy how not to lose his cool and say something that could possible destroy the team's reputation, but if there was one thing that often got underneath his fur, it was people who tried to stiff him and his crew on their well deserved pay. Pepper never did this, and thus he forever had Star Fox's allegiance. Everyone beneath him on the other paw...not so much.\n\nJust recently the snobs had tried to rope him into taking less pay for surveying a dead planet that had supposedly been used as a weapon's base for some of Andross' more unpleasant pieces of technology. Recovering some of the equipment and the transporting it back for documentation had been no problem, seeing as there was no one left in charge of protecting the equipment, though the A.I.s designed to protect the base had been something of a pain for Slippy and R.O.B. to try and bypass. Because of this, it had been a simple enough mission to undertake, yet once they returned Corneria's officials felt like he and his team should hand over the technology and take less of a payout because they were 'proud members of Corneria' who should be 'glad to hand over such dangerous technology to those better suited to safeguarding it'.\n\nFox had politely told the three piece suit wearing alligator who spoke those words to fuck off. A shock to everyone save Falco who had tried hide his amusement behind a fit of coughing.\n\n'My team doesn't work for free.' Fox had said in a tone that reminded Peppy so much of James.\n\nLeast to say that once the checks had been cut, for the full amount that had been discussed, McCloud had politely told the officials that unless it was a matter of life and death for Coneria's people to not call him or his people again. The vulpine had left the towering skyscraper with his team in such a black mood that even the normally overly jovial Katt had been afraid to try and speak to him.\n\nReturning home after depositing the checks into the credit union Fox was not surprised to find Wolf waiting for him, the older man had taken to coming into the apartment whenever he was on the planet so often that the vulpine didn't even think to question it anymore. Instead, Fox pulled himself out of the clothes he had on, marched over to his sofa, and then carelessly face planted himself onto the cushions.\n\n\"Long day?\" Wolf asked cheekily as turned in his seat at the living room table, his solitaire game forgotten.\n\nFox made a muffled comment that sounded suspiciously like 'fuck you' but Wolf couldn't be sure.\n\n\"I take it that they tried to shortchange you?\" Fox pulled his muzzle up from the cushions of his couch to snarl at the older man. \"Told you that you should have sold what you found on the black market.\" Wolf snickered while receiving a one fingered gesture.\n\nWatching as the muscular lupine picked himself up from the table to make his way over, Fox didn't think to complain when the larger man kicked off his combat boots and then crawled over his back. A pleased murr escape from out of the Star Fox leader's muzzle when the lupine began to roll his palms against his backside.\n\n\"Thanks.\" Fox groaned, tail wagging freely as Wolf literally pushed the stress of the day out from his body.\n\n\"Of course. I don't like seeing you tense. Well, not unless I'm the one doing the tensing.\" Wolf joked to which McCloud merely rolled his eyes.\n\n\"What do you want for dinner?\" Fox asked, ignoring the obvious unsaid statement.\n\n\"I'm feeling fancy today, so how about pasta?\" the lupine answered.\n\n\"Sound good, but I'm in no mood to cook.\"\n\n\"Good, because your cooking is terrible.\" Fox turned his head to the side to snarl at the other man. \"What? It's true.\" McCloud was two seconds away from spitting out a rather nasty retort but before he could form the words Wolf cut in with, 'Let's go for a ride. I know a nice restaurant just outside the city limits that makes the best spaghetti alla puttanesca.\" Fox narrowed his eyes. \"Don't worry, I'll pay this time.\" Wolf snickered, remembering the last time they had been out.\n\n- - - - - \n\n5. Fox was well aware of the dangers of his continued interactions with Wolf O' Donnell. Hell, a week prior he had to defend himself against several people who couldn't be anything less than space pirates while on his early morning jog down the city sidewalk. The group, who was dressed very casually but had scars and tattoos that were very distinct to a trained eye, asked him rather imposing questions regarding the lupine, consequently setting off every alarm bell within the vulpine's head. However, Fox had been trained by some of the best in the mercenary field and knew exactly what to say to keep things civil between himself and the others. Yet some in the group had taken too kindly to his cut and dry attitude and had thought that placing a laser muzzle into his face would shake him enough to make him start rambling.\n\nIt didn't.\n\nInstead a fight had broken out after he pulled the pistol owner into himself, heading butting the other to make them lose control over the hand holding the gun. A bloody few minutes later ended with two dead, one bleeding from the torso, and him with a slightly charred tail.\n\nThe Cornerian police had taken his statement and the bodies away while a medical van came for him and the one who he had tried to patch up. Like flies the Corneria news crew had followed the police onto the scene and within the hour coverage that the leader of team Star Fox had defended himself against a group of notorious thugs had made a very big splash on the morning media channels. Fox was not at all surprised when his phone had blown up with calls from his team moments after the video-feed went live.\n\nIronically enough the person who was most concerned for his well-being hadn't bothered with the phone and instead marched himself angrily into the vulpine's home and then lay down a barrage of question, all of which McCloud answered as calmly as he could. The caffeine from his morning tea had probably help to chase off of the adrenaline high Fox normally would have felt given the circumstances, otherwise he probably would have done something very uncharacteristic after Wolf grabbed him up in his massive grey furred arms.\n\nThat night, and the nights to follow, Fox didn't sleep alone.\n\nAll of this was fine with the vulpine. He was a mercenary after all, so he was used to adapting to odd situations. And yet, even he was not prepared for Peppy Hare to come into his apartment and find him playing Go Fish with O' Donnell. The hare hadn't said anything after letting himself into the apartment; he, like Falco and Slippy, had a key. Instead, the older Corneria merely looked at Wolf and Fox and then calmly told the vulpine that they needed to talk.\n\n- - - - - \n\n6. The fact that O' Donnell had all but moved in with McCloud was something that Wolf knew was bound to test the limits of his very thin patience, however, the lupine had already decided that the good that came from his being so close to the other man, despite Panther and Leon wondering if he had finally gotten soft on them, outweighed everything else. Though on hindsight, the the black leopard and chameleon were quickly reminded of just how the leader of team Star Wolf was not 'soft' after he nearly beat the living shit out both of them for their unwanted wisecrack. It often was amazing how a trip to the medical wing gave someone a good case of 'shut the fuck up'.\n\nAnyway, Wolf was now living with Fox, something that the vulpine didn't complain about, despite how reluctant his teammates were on this fact, what with the pair's tumultuous history and all. However, the lupine hadn't come as far as he did as a galactic mercenary by giving too much a damn about what others thought of him, not even the mouthy Falco. Yet despite their somewhat infrequent bouts of dinner, Wolf's tendency to leave his gear and whatnot scattered about the apartment, Fox's need to constantly keep his fur 'tv worthy' as he liked to call it, and their teammates snarling with one another whenever the two groups were forced to work together by their appointed leaders, Wolf and Fox actually got along...quite well.\n\nThough Wolf silently attributed much of McCloud's persona to his single parent upbringing.\n\nJames had always been a very chill Corneria and it was easy to see how much of his persona he had passed on to his son.\n\nAnd yet, despite the somewhat infrequent attacks on both of their lives by bounty hunters and former enemies, the media circus that came from someone catching the leader of Star Wolf leaving from McCloud's apartment one evening, or the media blitz that appeared on the news after Leon and Falco had a showdown with one another in the middle of a busy sidewalk, the thing that ultimately made Wolf wonder if he had made a bad decision with his move to live with Fox was the vulpine's taste in entertainment.\n\nNamely the abomination that was...anime.\n\nSpecifically, the thing called Tokyo Ghoul.\n\n- - - - - \n\n7. Time passes very quickly when one doesn't pay attention to it. Weeks can easily slip into months, and in turn those months will became years within the blink of an eye if life is allowed to continue unabated. However, there are moments that come which just...put everything on pause to allowed one to recollect themselves and question the decisions for which they have made.\n\nIt was during one of these pauses that Wolf began to think really hard and really long about where his life had led him. Both he and Fox had grown quite close to one another in the time after the vulpine had saved the lupine's mangy life that now it was almost unthinkable for someone to see one of the pair and not the other. Missions between their two teams, of which now mostly consisted of hauling around various cargo and protecting interplanetary dignitaries from a growing threat, had been coordinated where team Star Fox and Star Wolf worked together on almost 88% of whatever contracts the other might receive. Though some had griped about cuts in their pay, since they now had to 'share' revenue with their former 'competition' almost no one complained about having the extra firepower while out within the depths of space, especially when it came down to fending themselves off from plucky space pirates looking to make a name for themselves within the underworld.\n\nDebates had gone back and forth between the two groups, especially over the fact that the team leaders were fucking each other brains out behind closed doors, and how this was really REALLY weird considering their history, and yet...somehow neither of the two teams had disbanded. By some miracles, despite everything that the media had to say about what was going on with Corneria's 'heroes' working with people like team Star Wolf, things just managed to work themselves out in the end. That was if you discounted regular fights between the two groups, mostly sprouting from the fact that those who had once been able to do as they pleased were now forced to 'be on their best behavior' since they had kinda sort 'merged' together into one greater team. However, no one had been seriously injured or killed, and thus, both Fox and Wolf decided to let these little grievances sort themselves out on their own.\n\nIronically enough many a times they did, usually with those in question ending up in bed, or a closet, with one another.\n\nWolf occasionally liked to tease Falco about the stuffing he got filled with whenever he mouthed off to Panther while the feline was in one of his black moods.\n\nThat usually earned the lupine many attempted punches to the head by the squawking avian.\n\nHowever, when not mercilessly toying with the sexuality of both members of his and Fox's team, Wolf was left thinking about a lot of things. Mostly about his past which seemed to be capturing much of his attention as of late.\n\nFrom his time in the space academy as a hot headed young recruit with an attitude, to fighting for his life in places that had names he still couldn't pronounce to this very day, to the moment when McCloud and he had pointed laser pistols at one another in tests of mental dominance, to the recent week which had ended with him burying his mother after spending several days watching her slowly fade away in her bed, all of these things had culminated to the point where Wolf was now left wondering just what exactly he should do with his life. He wasn't getting any younger, heaven knew that was the truth, and yet, he didn't really have that many prospects left open to him as he did when he was in his twinkling twenties. His bones now ached whenever he ran for too long, his memory was getting a bit sketchy - probably from the multiple assault he had taken to the head - his reflexes were slowing down forcing him to use his eyepatch scanner which had made many think that he was cycloptic - and...his inherent nature was making it so that the thought of waking up alone now was almost physically painful to him.\n\nWhile it was easy enough to brush the physical insecurities to the side with the thought of cybernetic enhancements...the latter issue was one that would never really go away. Wolves by their nature are pack oriented, his mother had told him on multiple occasion, despite being single marrying as far as he knew. Being alone was not something most wished for, but at the time O' Donnell had been to enamored with thoughts of 'space adventures' to listen to this sage advise. He wanted to taste all the universe had to offer. Needed to see sights that had been read to him as a pup. And in enrolling into space academy he had gotten his wish, and more. So much more. But now...now the universe didn't have as much to offer him. Mostly because Wolf knew the truth. Knew that for all of the wonders that lay amongst the stars, there were horrors out there that didn't make up the trade-off that one was required to pay for access to the 'mysteries of the unknown'. A lot of people Wolf had known had died within the cold darkness that was the galaxy beyond. Good men. Bad men. Children. Women. The young. The old. The mentally unstable. And even geniuses alike.\n\nSpace cared for no one.\n\nEverything was but a spectacle that happened and then was forgotten seconds later; like a star being born in glory only to then pop out of existence to ultimately end up become a creeping black nothingness that sought to devour all.\n\nWolf...couldn't look to space any longer as a place of dreams and adventure.\n\nHe knew too much. Had seen too much. Had felt too much.\n\nThe memories of the past, even to this day, still made him wake up in a cold sweat.\n\nWith all of that in mind, the last thing the lupine wanted to do was to die old and alone. Whether in space or in bed, it didn't matter to him.\n\nHe was determined to not let what few good years he had left go to waste spending it flying circles within a void that could care less if he were there or not.\n\nNo.\n\nInstead, O' Donnell had something else in mind for his fate. A plan that was, by all means, exceptionally bonkers given who he was and the past he had lived, however, a gut feeling, born from instincts that had survived the hundreds of millions of years of evolution it had taken to get his kind from running on all fours after rabbits to standing up right in long waiting lines to buy overpriced coffee in shops that didn't know how to bake a damn scone, told him that he was making the right decision.\n\nNow all he had to do was stop his hands from shaking as Fox looked at him with a queer look on his face.\n\n- - - - - \n\n8. Neither Wolf nor Fox were particularly religious. Both men had long since made their peace with life and held firm understanding that what lay beyond death was not all that important to them. So the thought of asking the divine to enter into their lives at any point had never really be an issue...until now.\n\nHow the pair had come to deciding on an old style traditional of marriage that even today was only practiced in a very remote part of Corneria was something that many between the teams of Star Wolf and Star Fox would never now, but for those of the inner circle surrounding the grooms...they knew. Partially because they were there when Fox broke down after Peppy handed the vulpine a box containing his father and mother's wedding attire, a gift that James McCloud had left to the older hare for his son should the day ever come when Fox felt the need to settle down.\n\nWolf, ever the silent pillar of strength, held onto his lover as the green eyed vulpine let out waves of emotion as he breathed deep the scent of the man who helped to bring him life, all the while glowering up at Peppy with a look that promised a future tongue lashing. It took almost an hour for the leader of team Star Fox to calm down, but once he did he thanked the taller man and then slipped on the the montsukihakama, which, ironically enough, fit him like a glove and then stood back to let the others survey him. It was Peppy's turn to release a few tears as he watched a nervous smile pull itself onto the edge of McCloud's face; almost forty years ago now he had been standing in front of another vulpine who had asked him to give his honest opinion about how he looked in the attire in question and damn if Fox did not look exactly like his father back then.\n\nThe wedding was held outside on a clear spring day. The affair was large and yet mostly informal. No one outside of the two teams were allowed to view the vows being made between the two men, with the exception of General Pepper who threatened that he'd parachute down from a jet fighter if he wasn't invited; no doubted that the old man would. Rings were exchanged. Two new husbands kissed. Everyone cheered. Food was eaten. Music was played. People danced and got drunk. And by the end of the day Fox McCloud was now Fox McCloud O' Donnell.\n\nAnd then came evening...\n\n- - - - - \n\n9. Fox was a freak.\n\nAnd while Wolf knew this, the depths of the vulpine's sexual depravity surprised him the first time they mated. Once it was clear to McCloud that O' Donnell wanted to fuck his brains out the smaller man literally threw himself onto the lupine after the older Corneria had fully stripped himself out of the biking clothes he had been wearing earlier that day. Smelling hot and musky from their long ride through the countryside, the vulpine relished the scent which rose up from off of his boyfriend's body as he rolled his wet nose across the chuckling lupine's chest. A slow roll of his tongue followed by several teasing nips later found Fox quickly releasing the locks on his restrained inhibitions, not that Wolf had any idea of what he was about to get himself into as he gasped from a teasing bite against one of his pert nipples. O' Donnel did raise an eyebrow in surprise as he watched the younger man sensually peel himself out of his own riding clothes, his slim orange hips grinding back and forth across his heated groin in an obvious tease, before growling at the sight for which he now would get full access to.\n\nHowever, Wolf was not prepared for what happened next.\n\nConsidering the side of his equipment, which was already humongous in and of itself, most people found it very hard to handle him the first time around. Hell, it often took weeks before most were even able to get halfway down the length of his turgid manhood, yet for McCloud there was no issue. He had simply pulled himself down the front of O' Donnel's body, licked his in anticipation lips up at the older man, and then opened his muzzle to swallow the lupine's massive cock down his throat with barely a hint of gag stopping him. Wolf yelped at the warmth which encircled his penis, having only had one other fox do such a thing to him before on the first attempt. Fox growled hungrily as he gobbled down his lover's length of flesh, all the while his throat bulged obscenely as the vulpine rolled his head back and forth in his attempts to milk the lupine's manhood for all it was worth. Wolf tried to reach out to gently take control of the younger man, but a warning look in fiery green eyes made him think better of such a decision. With such a threat very clear between them the lupine merely laid back and allowed himself to be treated to the best blowjob he had every received on Coneria.\n\nOnce Fox was satisfied with his efforts at polishing the older man's cock, the vulpine popped himself off of the spit soaked spire of flesh, crawled up onto Wolf's chest until the two were muzzle to muzzle together, winked, and then slammed his hips down onto O'Donnel groin like a professional whore.\n\nIn the three seconds it took for his brain to process what had just happened a tiny portion of Wolf's brain wondered how in the hell could McCloud perform such a feat without A, being torn in half, and B, screaming his head off, but another portion of himself realized that he didn't want to know.\n\nInstead, Wolf howled as he was he was treated to the warm depths of the smaller man's insides. The heat and tightness and pulsing grip were almost enough to make him lose his mind as Fox sunk himself down, down, down until he finally came to the twin protrusions that would become O' Donnell's knot. Once he was firmly seated into place Fox let out a gasping chuckle as he looked down at the wide eyed lupine, almost relishing in the power he had over his lover, before he then pulled himself up to begin riding the older man like a champion pole dancer. Wolf could only loll his tongue in disbelief as he watched the compact form that was his former rival move up and down onto himself with all the grace of a sex starved beast getting its first meal in ages. McCloud didn't waste anytime trying to play at what he was doing, instead the vulpine used every trick imaginable to try and squeeze the cum from out of O Donnell's quivering nuts, something for which the other Corneria was very eager to help him do as he flexed and rolled his hips against the sofa he and Fox had been laying on. Nearly an hour into the play of their hips dancing together the lupine found hismelf howling for a second time that night as Fox reached down to force Wolf's pelvis fully up into himself so as to get feel the full girth of the larger man's knot inflating inside of his utterly wrecked anus. Wolf came a few seconds later, his body shivering almost desperately as his testicles drew up and then expelled their contents into the smaller man's hidden depths.\n\nThe look on McCloud's face as he was pumped full of lupine juice was almost euphoric as he threw his head back and then shot his own hot load in several arching bursts up over Wolf's head onto the far wall behind them; the clenching of Fox's inside massaged Wolf in a way that made his orgasm continue on for several minutes after the last drop of semen had been spat out from his cock. When the vulpine's body was finally ready to call it quits both men came down from their sexual highs together, panting like their feral ancestors within the darkness of McCloud's living room, before they leaned into one another to swap tongue.\n\nThroughout all of the sexcapades that the two men had gone through, not to mention the kinks which were too numerous to detail, there was one thing that they had never tried. And it was silently understood why.\n\nWolf had, had many lovers in the past. Most of them were female, but there were also a few trusted males somewhere in the mix of faces which he could hardly even remember anymore, however, they all understood one thing. You don't try and mess with the lupine's backdoor. It was an unspoken rule for which, if broken, could lead to the removal of one's head from their lower half by a swift snap of fangs.\n\nYet on the night of their wedding Wolf had asked his husband to take that which had never been given to any other in a tone which Fox had never heard the lupine speak in before.\n\nFox had been in awe at the words which had been whispered within the dark, his green eyes wide as saucers once he realized that his mate was serious about the statement which he had shakily uttered.\n\nOf course, being the adaptive mercenary that he was, the vulpine was not one to let such a rare opportunity go to waste, especially not after receiving the leather straps Katt had given him for his and Wolf's wedding.\n\nSo after they stripped themselves out of their wedding attire and then set everything up, Fox took a slow and leisurely pace preparing his husband with his tongue and a lot of lube before entering within the depths of a space for which he had never gone before now.\n\n- - - - - \n\n10. Fox wasn't stupid.\n\nHe knew quite well that the man he married did things that he would not have approved of, however, he wasn't one to ask someone to go against their inherent nature. This was true of Falco with his gambling and on-the side racing, Slippy with his government hacking, Peppy with his mothering and nitpicking, Katt with her continued flirting (though Wolf seemed to be taking care of that one in how own special little way), Panther with his on-the side 'jobs' which the news was only so happy to point out because of his signature calling card, and Leon with his incessant need to carve people up when they were on land based missions.\n\nEveryone who stood with him had their own special little 'quirks' that made them who they were, and Fox saw no reason to try and change anyone, though that didn't stop him from worrying whenever one of his teammates took things to a natural extreme. Case-in-point having Falco laid up for several days after an biking accident. Fox was never one to leave a man down, so when he got the call from the nurse he was usually up out of bed, something Wolf did not appreciate at all, making a beeline down Corneria's main street to the local hospital. What followed next was more often than not him chiding the other to no end for his recklessness, something the avian would always shout at him about, and then the two of them arguing for almost an hour on end. Of course by the time the other was fully healed the shouting match would have been forgiven and forgotten about and things would settle back to normal between them.\n\nYet with his own husband...Fox was a little more anxious to deter the other from doing...whatever it was that the lupine had in mind.\n\nEspecially after he got 'that' look in his violet eyes.\n\nThe vulpine shuddered as he recalled the eyes of the man who once looked at him with a gaze that promised death without remorse after flying side by side one another within the cold vastness of space several years prior.\n\nWatching his mate leave out of their apartment with that same look in his eyes, Fox could only hope that wherever his husband was going he'd be back soon enough.\n\n- - - - - \n\n11. Wolf knew he was getting old. That was the only way to describe how in the hell had almost gotten himself killed by a revolutionary with dreams of grandeur. The job had been simple enough; go and take the little fucker out. Quick, clean, and easy. Those were the kind of results O' Donnell made happen and were the reason why people in power often came to him. However, in getting to where the other was Wolf found himself falling into a series of situations, the likes of which now left him wondering if getting those cybernetic enhancements weren't just an option but a must if he wanted to continue in this line of work.\n\nThe mercenaries who the revolutionary had hired had set up a base on a remote island for which easily found by the Corneria government, so the job of finding the other was enough. Yet in quietly trying to scale the mountain side where the facility was - what with him having left his Wolfen a good seven miles undersea so as not to be detected by their surveillance - the lupine found himself having to stop every now and again as he fought to catch his breath. That was something that had not happened ten years ago. It took O' Donnell nearly an hour to get up onto flat ground and by the time he did so he was short of breath and panting like his feral kin. A few deep breaths followed by a swig of water found him getting back on point though. Putting his natural night vision and stealth into play made sneaking up on the patrol very easy. A quick flex of his biceps around his captive's throat brought him much needed silence and security as he padded his way into the building.\n\nOf course, that was when things started to go to shit.\n\nHe had tripped a silent alarm.\n\nA rookie mistake on his part, but excusable considering that the manor had installed a series of A.I.'s which tracked everyone's individual biorhythm; this type of tech was usually only reserved for government facilities and would explain why those in Corneria's government wanted the target dealt with ASAP. Of course once the alarm was tripped several guards were on him like white on rice. That was fine with Wolf, seeing as he enjoyed a good brawl. Yet even as his claws tore into flesh and his laser pistol sliced through body armor more and more guards kept coming like locust within a proverbial storm.\n\nIt was at this time that O' Donnell seriously appreciated his ability to understand the value of a strategic retreat.\n\nFinding his way to a safe location within the facility proved to be an obstacle, as his very large frame made it somewhat difficult for him to hide in areas meant for most other Cornerians. A merry hell of a chase later found the lupine scaling the top of the roof towards where his target was located. But wouldn't you know it, just as he found the room where the other and was preparing to take an easy head-shot he got himself spotted. It was luck that saved his tail from being shot off as he threw himself through the window into the living area where his target was. The perpetrator of the Conerian government's current headache was quite surprised to see his large form roll with the force of his fall onto the carpeted floor in front of them, glass trailing around the O' Donnell like a hail of rain. Time came to a standstill as Wolf drew himself up to look at the other, the face of the younger man eerily similar to his own at the other's age. The picture in the photo definitely didn't do the other justice.\n\nThere were words spoken, or rather shouted, and then pistols came out as both lupines sought cover while attempting to shoot the other's head off. Once again, Wolf's larger frame made it hard as hell to hide anyplace, as not even the desk he tipped over was a good enough shield to keep him safe from the colorful blast of liquid energy which pelted into his direction. A stray shot next to the hand he kept his wedding band on made O' Donnell see red and in a move so stupid it couldn't possibly fail, Wolf hefted the desk up and then charged straight at the other man. The younger Corneria tried to fire at where he thought the other lupine's head was but Wolf, even in his rage, was smart enough to keep low while performing his mad dash.\n\nThe sound of him slamming into the other was loud enough to be heard outside of the hallway, yet by the time guards entered into the room it was already way to late to save their boss. Wolf hadn't spared the other anytime to counteract as he simply trailed his laser pistol down the length of the desk, pulling back the trigger all the while. When O' Donnell pulled himself up there was visible blood on the older man's body armor, a clear sign that the other Corneria was dead, but just to make that clear to the others who burst in, gun's at the ready, Wolf hefted the desk up for everyone to see the bloody mess that was the now deceased lupine.\n\nA good thing about most other mercenaries was that when the boss died their contract with them was terminated. And it was because of this fact that O' Donnell had no trouble literally walking out through the front door of the facility without so much as an eye being blinked his way.\n\nNow, most would have thought that the natural thing to do after going through all of that was to get one's money from the contractor and then go home, but that was not what Wolf did.\n\nGoing down to his favorite dive the lupine flopped into his regular seat, ordered himself a thick brew, and then slipped off his wedding band. In between gulps of the thick liquid O' Donnell curled the small golden ring back and forth inside of his palm, the light from the ceiling winking back at him almost tauntingly. A cute rabbit found herself quickly scurrying out of the bar when she tried to slip herself over into Wolf's lap; the no-nonsense glare the older man had given her being powerful enough to almost literally chill her down to the bone. Finishing his third drink O' Donnell nodded, paid his tab, and then went to the hotel he normally reserved for when he wanted to be alone to plot. He fell asleep before he could do so, though.\n\nThe next morning found Wolf seated uncomfortably onto a too small seat within a tattoo parlor, his wedding ring in the hands of a friend of a friend.\n\n- - - - - \n\n12. Wolf was an idiot.\n\nThis was something Fox had known for a long time, a silent understanding that had plagued the vulpine ever since he had first encountered the lupine, however, in both dating and now being married to the other man...this fact was so apparent that it often made Fox's head hurt.\n\nToday was supposed to have been a simple day. The had gone to their lawyer's office the day before to talk about a legalize team merge and the cost and effects such a thing would have on both of their finances. Easy. The older tigress in the three piece suit had chatted with the two of them for hours on end about the ramifications of such a merger, whose credit line would be raised and whose would take a slight hit; it seemed that Wolf had a lot of unpaid transactions that had slipped the older man's mind, much to the Wolf's chagrin. However, at the end of the day paperwork was put through the works in order for signatures to be signed later on that week no problem. Cool. Fox had been really glad that things had worked out well, considering just how much he had been fretting about this whole process. It was no surprise that the younger man was slightly inept when it came to dealing with financial matters outside of handing out payroll stubs, Wolf had often made jokes about this fact after seeing the knot his husband, then boyfriend's, tail had curled itself it whenever the vulpine tried to count out bonuses on missions where the team's Arwings/Wolfens weren't shot up all to hell.\n\nOnce they were about to leave the lawyer had then asked them a question for which neither man had thought about, and which was now causing the two husbands a small bit of stress.\n\n''Whose logo would the both of them be using after the merger?'\n\nBoth Wolf and Fox had blanched at the question, as neither had thought much about such a thing, considering how...inconsequential it had seemed before now.\n\nEveryone knew by now that team Star Fox and Star Wolf were united, so if you wanted one group, you got the other free of charge. This in itself wasn't that much of a problem, seeing as the two groups were, above all, professionals and handled business with a level of professionalism that had made much of Corneria rethink the former scorn they had stigmatized Wolf's team with now that they were part of the 'good guys'. The underworld on the other paw was not so forgiving as there had been a few...incidences which had led to lives being lost. No one either of the star teams since everyone tended to split off into pairs to watch one another's backs these days; it something of a laugh riot for many to see Panther and Falco together with Leon every other week. Regardless though, the two teams were as tight as two peas in a pod and no one had thought to rock the boat on the logos both groups shared, yet when the tigress had said, very pointedly, that once the merger began there couldn't be two teams documented onto the paperwork, unless they wanted to pay an extra fee for one of them being a subsidiary, they would need to decide what to call their new organization.\n\nThis had led to Fox and Wolf calling a meeting.\n\nEveryone was a bit stumped at what name Fox and Wolf should call their group, not to mention what logo to use. Star Wolf's patented Wolf biting down on a star emblem was somewhat cherished by the former renegades, while Peppy and a few others were adamant about keeping James McCloud's old logo for sentimentality reasons. This had led to a bit of arguing between the everyone and had forced Fox into calling for a recess to things while he and Wolf went home to think of something. The two leaders had told everyone that they would accept names and art ideas from everyone, so that gave the others something to do besides snap at one another, yet in settling down at home to work out their own ideas...Wolf had proved what an idiot he was.\n\n- - - - - \n\n\nGuest Character: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/bcoale\n\nArt: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/beezlebumawoken/",
"description_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>1. Fox could admit that he and Wolf had a very unconventional relationship with one another. On one paw, they were rivals - they had taken more than enough potshots at one another while swimming within the starry nothingness that was space for this not to be clear. Yet on the other paw, they weren&#039;t exactly enemies. Sure, when it came to business there was no doubt about what the score was, but when not on on a job that caused them to naturally interact with one another...well...<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />2. Wolves...are different from foxes. This is something Fox Mccloud learned very quickly after realizing that it was Wolf O&#039; Donnell who had &#039;broken&#039; into his apartment...somehow. The cheeky bastard was completely unrepentant for his actions as he looked the wet vulpine up and down, his indigo eyes narrowing slightly as he took in the curve of Fox&#039;s torso. A wet lick of his broad tongue against the rim of his upper lip made Mccloud roll his eyes as he lowered his pistol from where it was aimed at the lupine&#039;s chest.<br /><br />It had been almost a month since he and the other mercenary had encountered one another, and truth be told Fox had forgotten about the whole &#039;saving Wolf&#039;s life&#039; thing, having chalked it up to just another day in his whacky fun filled life. (Not.) After all, he had a crew that were very close to mutinying for the &#039;extended vacation&#039; the lot had been put on, a well-worn ship that was in desperate need of maintenance, friends who wanted their loans repaid, and a government that wanted him to work pro bono. So the thought of Wolf and his well-being was a far removed one from Fox&#039;s mind.<br /><br />And then the overly tall bastard had made dinner...<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />3. Fox liked to dance, but Fox was a high profile celebrity. This created a problem for him, as most places he tried to go to ended up with him being followed around by either the media, crazed fans, angry thugs looking to beat up on the &#039;pretty boi&#039;, or old rivals who wanted to try and one-up him. It was because of this that Fox A, never went out if he were tired, B, had most of his groceries brought to his apartment, and C, usually carried at least two pistols with him at all times when he did decide to go outside.<br /><br />These three facts were usually the reasons why he more often than not stayed on the Great Fox instead of going home; however, Peppy had told him to go home since he was &#039;bouncing off the walls&#039; as it were, and thus that was why he was at his apartment that month.<br /><br />It was only later that Fox could admit that the older hare was right, as he was feeling rather...pent up. And that meant that there was only one thing he could do to help himself unwind. And only one place he could do to do it in peace.<br /><br />The Mischief Maker.<br /><br />MM was an expensive club made for celebrities like himself to go and relax without fear of being shadowed by someone with an agenda - the security at the door had license to shoot first and ask questions never. With this in mind Fox often found himself going to the club to shake off the excess stress he had built up over the months without fear of having someone shove either a gun or microphone in front of his muzzle. Yet, of course, some force in his life seemed to like to toy with him because on the night he had decided to go out who should he run into if not Wolf O&#039; Donnell. The smug bastard had seemed to be waiting for him because just as the vulpine walked through the door of the warehouse the old lupine turned in his seat at the bar, indigo eyes twinkling as he caught sight of the smaller man, and then waved at Fox.<br /><br />Of course Fox had been ready for a fight, because for all the years he had been going to MM he had never once seen the other male frequent the club.<br /><br />Before he could do anything though, the taller man got up from his seat, shrugged himself out of the laser resistant armor he had been wearing, and then walked out onto the dance floor without a word spoken his rival. Fox took several moments to reassess what just happened, almost certain that the lupine was going to try something...especially after that move he had pulled on their...dinner date two weeks ago. Yet in turning to watch the older man strut his stuff out on the smokey dance room floor...Fox had to admit that maybe he was wrong and Wolf was just there to relax the same as him?<br /><br />Not sure but deciding not to question it, Fox went over to a secluded table, stripped himself out of the clothes he had one, strapped on his favorite harness, and then went to town on the dance floor himself.<br /><br />Swaying his hips to the beat of the music, the leader of the Star Fox mercenaries let the troubles of the month wash themselves out from his soul as the techno/trance blasting from the speakers rolled throughout his belly like molten fire. How many hours passed would never be known to Fox, as he continued to dance and dance and dance until something hard and unyielding brushed against his backside. Not wanting to stop, as this was his moment to be free of his usual inhibitions, Fox didn&#039;t fight it as he felt a strong hand encircle his torso, drawing him back into a body that was oh-so warm and soft. The scent of a stronger male filled his senses, making his long buried desires flare up like a thunderstorm. Tail lifted as his instincts sought to entice the other behind him, Fox gasped when a large bulge rubbed up against the cleft of his foxy buns.<br /><br />Turning his head to the side to see who it was who was doing so many sinfully good things to him, Mccloud was not surprised to see indigo eyes lustfully staring back at him.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />4. Fox liked being a mercenary, as there was a certain freedom to be had in traveling the starry void of space doing work that most people either found too dangerous or too insane to do. However, that didn&#039;t mean that anything about this lifestyle was as glitz and glam as Corneria media often played it out to be. Seriously, between fighting off space pirates, body snatching A.I.s, and brain sucking insects, you had to had a lot of resolve to keep doing this line of work, yet the most frustrating aspect out of everything one often had to deal with in this line of work was negotiating with employers. Especially government officials who thought that medals and plaques were enough to both compensate him for his work and keep him on their payroll.<br /><br />Fox was a patient Cornerian, having been taught by Peppy how not to lose his cool and say something that could possible destroy the team&#039;s reputation, but if there was one thing that often got underneath his fur, it was people who tried to stiff him and his crew on their well deserved pay. Pepper never did this, and thus he forever had Star Fox&#039;s allegiance. Everyone beneath him on the other paw...not so much.<br /><br />Just recently the snobs had tried to rope him into taking less pay for surveying a dead planet that had supposedly been used as a weapon&#039;s base for some of Andross&#039; more unpleasant pieces of technology. Recovering some of the equipment and the transporting it back for documentation had been no problem, seeing as there was no one left in charge of protecting the equipment, though the A.I.s designed to protect the base had been something of a pain for Slippy and R.O.B. to try and bypass. Because of this, it had been a simple enough mission to undertake, yet once they returned Corneria&#039;s officials felt like he and his team should hand over the technology and take less of a payout because they were &#039;proud members of Corneria&#039; who should be &#039;glad to hand over such dangerous technology to those better suited to safeguarding it&#039;.<br /><br />Fox had politely told the three piece suit wearing alligator who spoke those words to fuck off. A shock to everyone save Falco who had tried hide his amusement behind a fit of coughing.<br /><br />&#039;My team doesn&#039;t work for free.&#039; Fox had said in a tone that reminded Peppy so much of James.<br /><br />Least to say that once the checks had been cut, for the full amount that had been discussed, McCloud had politely told the officials that unless it was a matter of life and death for Coneria&#039;s people to not call him or his people again. The vulpine had left the towering skyscraper with his team in such a black mood that even the normally overly jovial Katt had been afraid to try and speak to him.<br /><br />Returning home after depositing the checks into the credit union Fox was not surprised to find Wolf waiting for him, the older man had taken to coming into the apartment whenever he was on the planet so often that the vulpine didn&#039;t even think to question it anymore. Instead, Fox pulled himself out of the clothes he had on, marched over to his sofa, and then carelessly face planted himself onto the cushions.<br /><br />&quot;Long day?&quot; Wolf asked cheekily as turned in his seat at the living room table, his solitaire game forgotten.<br /><br />Fox made a muffled comment that sounded suspiciously like &#039;fuck you&#039; but Wolf couldn&#039;t be sure.<br /><br />&quot;I take it that they tried to shortchange you?&quot; Fox pulled his muzzle up from the cushions of his couch to snarl at the older man. &quot;Told you that you should have sold what you found on the black market.&quot; Wolf snickered while receiving a one fingered gesture.<br /><br />Watching as the muscular lupine picked himself up from the table to make his way over, Fox didn&#039;t think to complain when the larger man kicked off his combat boots and then crawled over his back. A pleased murr escape from out of the Star Fox leader&#039;s muzzle when the lupine began to roll his palms against his backside.<br /><br />&quot;Thanks.&quot; Fox groaned, tail wagging freely as Wolf literally pushed the stress of the day out from his body.<br /><br />&quot;Of course. I don&#039;t like seeing you tense. Well, not unless I&#039;m the one doing the tensing.&quot; Wolf joked to which McCloud merely rolled his eyes.<br /><br />&quot;What do you want for dinner?&quot; Fox asked, ignoring the obvious unsaid statement.<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;m feeling fancy today, so how about pasta?&quot; the lupine answered.<br /><br />&quot;Sound good, but I&#039;m in no mood to cook.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Good, because your cooking is terrible.&quot; Fox turned his head to the side to snarl at the other man. &quot; What? It&#039;s true.&quot; McCloud was two seconds away from spitting out a rather nasty retort but before he could form the words Wolf cut in with, &#039;Let&#039;s go for a ride. I know a nice restaurant just outside the city limits that makes the best spaghetti alla puttanesca.&quot; Fox narrowed his eyes. &quot;Don&#039;t worry, I&#039;ll pay this time.&quot; Wolf snickered, remembering the last time they had been out.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />5. Fox was well aware of the dangers of his continued interactions with Wolf O&#039; Donnell. Hell, a week prior he had to defend himself against several people who couldn&#039;t be anything less than space pirates while on his early morning jog down the city sidewalk. The group, who was dressed very casually but had scars and tattoos that were very distinct to a trained eye, asked him rather imposing questions regarding the lupine, consequently setting off every alarm bell within the vulpine&#039;s head. However, Fox had been trained by some of the best in the mercenary field and knew exactly what to say to keep things civil between himself and the others. Yet some in the group had taken too kindly to his cut and dry attitude and had thought that placing a laser muzzle into his face would shake him enough to make him start rambling.<br /><br />It didn&#039;t.<br /><br />Instead a fight had broken out after he pulled the pistol owner into himself, heading butting the other to make them lose control over the hand holding the gun. A bloody few minutes later ended with two dead, one bleeding from the torso, and him with a slightly charred tail.<br /><br />The Cornerian police had taken his statement and the bodies away while a medical van came for him and the one who he had tried to patch up. Like flies the Corneria news crew had followed the police onto the scene and within the hour coverage that the leader of team Star Fox had defended himself against a group of notorious thugs had made a very big splash on the morning media channels. Fox was not at all surprised when his phone had blown up with calls from his team moments after the video-feed went live.<br /><br />Ironically enough the person who was most concerned for his well-being hadn&#039;t bothered with the phone and instead marched himself angrily into the vulpine&#039;s home and then lay down a barrage of question, all of which McCloud answered as calmly as he could. The caffeine from his morning tea had probably help to chase off of the adrenaline high Fox normally would have felt given the circumstances, otherwise he probably would have done something very uncharacteristic after Wolf grabbed him up in his massive grey furred arms.<br /><br />That night, and the nights to follow, Fox didn&#039;t sleep alone.<br /><br />All of this was fine with the vulpine. He was a mercenary after all, so he was used to adapting to odd situations. And yet, even he was not prepared for Peppy Hare to come into his apartment and find him playing Go Fish with O&#039; Donnell. The hare hadn&#039;t said anything after letting himself into the apartment; he, like Falco and Slippy, had a key. Instead, the older Corneria merely looked at Wolf and Fox and then calmly told the vulpine that they needed to talk.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />6. The fact that O&#039; Donnell had all but moved in with McCloud was something that Wolf knew was bound to test the limits of his very thin patience, however, the lupine had already decided that the good that came from his being so close to the other man, despite Panther and Leon wondering if he had finally gotten soft on them, outweighed everything else. Though on hindsight, the the black leopard and chameleon were quickly reminded of just how the leader of team Star Wolf was not &#039;soft&#039; after he nearly beat the living shit out both of them for their unwanted wisecrack. It often was amazing how a trip to the medical wing gave someone a good case of &#039;shut the fuck up&#039;.<br /><br />Anyway, Wolf was now living with Fox, something that the vulpine didn&#039;t complain about, despite how reluctant his teammates were on this fact, what with the pair&#039;s tumultuous history and all. However, the lupine hadn&#039;t come as far as he did as a galactic mercenary by giving too much a damn about what others thought of him, not even the mouthy Falco. Yet despite their somewhat infrequent bouts of dinner, Wolf&#039;s tendency to leave his gear and whatnot scattered about the apartment, Fox&#039;s need to constantly keep his fur &#039;tv worthy&#039; as he liked to call it, and their teammates snarling with one another whenever the two groups were forced to work together by their appointed leaders, Wolf and Fox actually got along...quite well.<br /><br />Though Wolf silently attributed much of McCloud&#039;s persona to his single parent upbringing.<br /><br />James had always been a very chill Corneria and it was easy to see how much of his persona he had passed on to his son.<br /><br />And yet, despite the somewhat infrequent attacks on both of their lives by bounty hunters and former enemies, the media circus that came from someone catching the leader of Star Wolf leaving from McCloud&#039;s apartment one evening, or the media blitz that appeared on the news after Leon and Falco had a showdown with one another in the middle of a busy sidewalk, the thing that ultimately made Wolf wonder if he had made a bad decision with his move to live with Fox was the vulpine&#039;s taste in entertainment.<br /><br />Namely the abomination that was...anime.<br /><br />Specifically, the thing called Tokyo Ghoul.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />7. Time passes very quickly when one doesn&#039;t pay attention to it. Weeks can easily slip into months, and in turn those months will became years within the blink of an eye if life is allowed to continue unabated. However, there are moments that come which just...put everything on pause to allowed one to recollect themselves and question the decisions for which they have made.<br /><br />It was during one of these pauses that Wolf began to think really hard and really long about where his life had led him. Both he and Fox had grown quite close to one another in the time after the vulpine had saved the lupine&#039;s mangy life that now it was almost unthinkable for someone to see one of the pair and not the other. Missions between their two teams, of which now mostly consisted of hauling around various cargo and protecting interplanetary dignitaries from a growing threat, had been coordinated where team Star Fox and Star Wolf worked together on almost 88% of whatever contracts the other might receive. Though some had griped about cuts in their pay, since they now had to &#039;share&#039; revenue with their former &#039;competition&#039; almost no one complained about having the extra firepower while out within the depths of space, especially when it came down to fending themselves off from plucky space pirates looking to make a name for themselves within the underworld.<br /><br />Debates had gone back and forth between the two groups, especially over the fact that the team leaders were fucking each other brains out behind closed doors, and how this was really REALLY weird considering their history, and yet...somehow neither of the two teams had disbanded. By some miracles, despite everything that the media had to say about what was going on with Corneria&#039;s &#039;heroes&#039; working with people like team Star Wolf, things just managed to work themselves out in the end. That was if you discounted regular fights between the two groups, mostly sprouting from the fact that those who had once been able to do as they pleased were now forced to &#039;be on their best behavior&#039; since they had kinda sort &#039;merged&#039; together into one greater team. However, no one had been seriously injured or killed, and thus, both Fox and Wolf decided to let these little grievances sort themselves out on their own.<br /><br />Ironically enough many a times they did, usually with those in question ending up in bed, or a closet, with one another.<br /><br />Wolf occasionally liked to tease Falco about the stuffing he got filled with whenever he mouthed off to Panther while the feline was in one of his black moods.<br /><br />That usually earned the lupine many attempted punches to the head by the squawking avian.<br /><br />However, when not mercilessly toying with the sexuality of both members of his and Fox&#039;s team, Wolf was left thinking about a lot of things. Mostly about his past which seemed to be capturing much of his attention as of late.<br /><br />From his time in the space academy as a hot headed young recruit with an attitude, to fighting for his life in places that had names he still couldn&#039;t pronounce to this very day, to the moment when McCloud and he had pointed laser pistols at one another in tests of mental dominance, to the recent week which had ended with him burying his mother after spending several days watching her slowly fade away in her bed, all of these things had culminated to the point where Wolf was now left wondering just what exactly he should do with his life. He wasn&#039;t getting any younger, heaven knew that was the truth, and yet, he didn&#039;t really have that many prospects left open to him as he did when he was in his twinkling twenties. His bones now ached whenever he ran for too long, his memory was getting a bit sketchy - probably from the multiple assault he had taken to the head - his reflexes were slowing down forcing him to use his eyepatch scanner which had made many think that he was cycloptic - and...his inherent nature was making it so that the thought of waking up alone now was almost physically painful to him.<br /><br />While it was easy enough to brush the physical insecurities to the side with the thought of cybernetic enhancements...the latter issue was one that would never really go away. Wolves by their nature are pack oriented, his mother had told him on multiple occasion, despite being single marrying as far as he knew. Being alone was not something most wished for, but at the time O&#039; Donnell had been to enamored with thoughts of &#039;space adventures&#039; to listen to this sage advise. He wanted to taste all the universe had to offer. Needed to see sights that had been read to him as a pup. And in enrolling into space academy he had gotten his wish, and more. So much more. But now...now the universe didn&#039;t have as much to offer him. Mostly because Wolf knew the truth. Knew that for all of the wonders that lay amongst the stars, there were horrors out there that didn&#039;t make up the trade-off that one was required to pay for access to the &#039;mysteries of the unknown&#039;. A lot of people Wolf had known had died within the cold darkness that was the galaxy beyond. Good men. Bad men. Children. Women. The young. The old. The mentally unstable. And even geniuses alike.<br /><br />Space cared for no one.<br /><br />Everything was but a spectacle that happened and then was forgotten seconds later; like a star being born in glory only to then pop out of existence to ultimately end up become a creeping black nothingness that sought to devour all.<br /><br />Wolf...couldn&#039;t look to space any longer as a place of dreams and adventure.<br /><br />He knew too much. Had seen too much. Had felt too much.<br /><br />The memories of the past, even to this day, still made him wake up in a cold sweat.<br /><br />With all of that in mind, the last thing the lupine wanted to do was to die old and alone. Whether in space or in bed, it didn&#039;t matter to him.<br /><br />He was determined to not let what few good years he had left go to waste spending it flying circles within a void that could care less if he were there or not.<br /><br />No.<br /><br />Instead, O&#039; Donnell had something else in mind for his fate. A plan that was, by all means, exceptionally bonkers given who he was and the past he had lived, however, a gut feeling, born from instincts that had survived the hundreds of millions of years of evolution it had taken to get his kind from running on all fours after rabbits to standing up right in long waiting lines to buy overpriced coffee in shops that didn&#039;t know how to bake a damn scone, told him that he was making the right decision.<br /><br />Now all he had to do was stop his hands from shaking as Fox looked at him with a queer look on his face.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />8. Neither Wolf nor Fox were particularly religious. Both men had long since made their peace with life and held firm understanding that what lay beyond death was not all that important to them. So the thought of asking the divine to enter into their lives at any point had never really be an issue...until now.<br /><br />How the pair had come to deciding on an old style traditional of marriage that even today was only practiced in a very remote part of Corneria was something that many between the teams of Star Wolf and Star Fox would never now, but for those of the inner circle surrounding the grooms...they knew. Partially because they were there when Fox broke down after Peppy handed the vulpine a box containing his father and mother&#039;s wedding attire, a gift that James McCloud had left to the older hare for his son should the day ever come when Fox felt the need to settle down.<br /><br />Wolf, ever the silent pillar of strength, held onto his lover as the green eyed vulpine let out waves of emotion as he breathed deep the scent of the man who helped to bring him life, all the while glowering up at Peppy with a look that promised a future tongue lashing. It took almost an hour for the leader of team Star Fox to calm down, but once he did he thanked the taller man and then slipped on the the montsukihakama, which, ironically enough, fit him like a glove and then stood back to let the others survey him. It was Peppy&#039;s turn to release a few tears as he watched a nervous smile pull itself onto the edge of McCloud&#039;s face; almost forty years ago now he had been standing in front of another vulpine who had asked him to give his honest opinion about how he looked in the attire in question and damn if Fox did not look exactly like his father back then.<br /><br />The wedding was held outside on a clear spring day. The affair was large and yet mostly informal. No one outside of the two teams were allowed to view the vows being made between the two men, with the exception of General Pepper who threatened that he&#039;d parachute down from a jet fighter if he wasn&#039;t invited; no doubted that the old man would. Rings were exchanged. Two new husbands kissed. Everyone cheered. Food was eaten. Music was played. People danced and got drunk. And by the end of the day Fox McCloud was now Fox McCloud O&#039; Donnell.<br /><br />And then came evening...<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />9. Fox was a freak.<br /><br />And while Wolf knew this, the depths of the vulpine&#039;s sexual depravity surprised him the first time they mated. Once it was clear to McCloud that O&#039; Donnell wanted to fuck his brains out the smaller man literally threw himself onto the lupine after the older Corneria had fully stripped himself out of the biking clothes he had been wearing earlier that day. Smelling hot and musky from their long ride through the countryside, the vulpine relished the scent which rose up from off of his boyfriend&#039;s body as he rolled his wet nose across the chuckling lupine&#039;s chest. A slow roll of his tongue followed by several teasing nips later found Fox quickly releasing the locks on his restrained inhibitions, not that Wolf had any idea of what he was about to get himself into as he gasped from a teasing bite against one of his pert nipples. O&#039; Donnel did raise an eyebrow in surprise as he watched the younger man sensually peel himself out of his own riding clothes, his slim orange hips grinding back and forth across his heated groin in an obvious tease, before growling at the sight for which he now would get full access to.<br /><br />However, Wolf was not prepared for what happened next.<br /><br />Considering the side of his equipment, which was already humongous in and of itself, most people found it very hard to handle him the first time around. Hell, it often took weeks before most were even able to get halfway down the length of his turgid manhood, yet for McCloud there was no issue. He had simply pulled himself down the front of O&#039; Donnel&#039;s body, licked his in anticipation lips up at the older man, and then opened his muzzle to swallow the lupine&#039;s massive cock down his throat with barely a hint of gag stopping him. Wolf yelped at the warmth which encircled his penis, having only had one other fox do such a thing to him before on the first attempt. Fox growled hungrily as he gobbled down his lover&#039;s length of flesh, all the while his throat bulged obscenely as the vulpine rolled his head back and forth in his attempts to milk the lupine&#039;s manhood for all it was worth. Wolf tried to reach out to gently take control of the younger man, but a warning look in fiery green eyes made him think better of such a decision. With such a threat very clear between them the lupine merely laid back and allowed himself to be treated to the best blowjob he had every received on Coneria.<br /><br />Once Fox was satisfied with his efforts at polishing the older man&#039;s cock, the vulpine popped himself off of the spit soaked spire of flesh, crawled up onto Wolf&#039;s chest until the two were muzzle to muzzle together, winked, and then slammed his hips down onto O&#039;Donnel groin like a professional whore.<br /><br />In the three seconds it took for his brain to process what had just happened a tiny portion of Wolf&#039;s brain wondered how in the hell could McCloud perform such a feat without A, being torn in half, and B, screaming his head off, but another portion of himself realized that he didn&#039;t want to know.<br /><br />Instead, Wolf howled as he was he was treated to the warm depths of the smaller man&#039;s insides. The heat and tightness and pulsing grip were almost enough to make him lose his mind as Fox sunk himself down, down, down until he finally came to the twin protrusions that would become O&#039; Donnell&#039;s knot. McCloud didn&#039;t waste anytime trying to play at what he was doing, instead the vulpine used every trick imaginable to try and squeeze the cum from out of O Donnell&#039;s quivering nuts, something for which the other Corneria was very eager to help him do as he flexed and rolled his hips against the sofa he and Fox had been laying on. Nearly an hour into the play of their hips dancing together the lupine found hismelf howling for a second time that night as Fox reached down to force Wolf&#039;s pelvis fully up into himself so as to get feel the full girth of the larger man&#039;s knot inflating inside of his utterly wrecked anus. Wolf came a few seconds later, his body shivering almost desperately as his testicles drew up and then expelled their contents into the smaller man&#039;s hidden depths.<br /><br />The look on McCloud&#039;s face as he was pumped full of lupine juice was almost euphoric as he threw his head back and then shot his own hot load in several arching bursts up over Wolf&#039;s head onto the far wall behind them; the clenching of Fox&#039;s inside massaged Wolf in a way that made his orgasm continue on for several minutes after the last drop of semen had been spat out from his cock. When the vulpine&#039;s body was finally ready to call it quits both men came down from their sexual highs together, panting like their feral ancestors within the darkness of McCloud&#039;s living room, before they leaned into one another to swap tongue.<br /><br />Throughout all of the sexcapades that the two men had gone through, not to mention the kinks which were too numerous to detail, there was one thing that they had never tried. And it was silently understood why.<br /><br />Wolf had, had many lovers in the past. Most of them were female, but there were also a few trusted males somewhere in the mix of faces which he could hardly even remember anymore, however, they all understood one thing. You don&#039;t try and mess with the lupine&#039;s backdoor. It was an unspoken rule for which, if broken, could lead to the removal of one&#039;s head from their lower half by a swift snap of fangs.<br /><br />Yet on the night of their wedding Wolf had asked his husband to take that which had never been given to any other in a tone which Fox had never heard the lupine speak in before.<br /><br />Fox had been in awe at the words which had been whispered within the dark, his green eyes wide as saucers once he realized that his mate was serious about the statement which he had shakily uttered.<br /><br />Of course, being the adaptive mercenary that he was, the vulpine was not one to let such a rare opportunity go to waste, especially not after receiving the leather straps Katt had given him for his and Wolf&#039;s wedding.<br /><br />So after they stripped themselves out of their wedding attire and then set everything up, Fox took a slow and leisurely pace preparing his husband with his tongue and a lot of lube before entering within the depths of a space for which he had never gone before now.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />10. Fox wasn&#039;t stupid.<br /><br />He knew quite well that the man he married did things that he would not have approved of, however, he wasn&#039;t one to ask someone to go against their inherent nature. This was true of Falco with his gambling and on-the side racing, Slippy with his government hacking, Peppy with his mothering and nitpicking, Katt with her continued flirting (though Wolf seemed to be taking care of that one in how own special little way), Panther with his on-the side &#039;jobs&#039; which the news was only so happy to point out because of his signature calling card, and Leon with his incessant need to carve people up when they were on land based missions.<br /><br />Everyone who stood with him had their own special little &#039;quirks&#039; that made them who they were, and Fox saw no reason to try and change anyone, though that didn&#039;t stop him from worrying whenever one of his teammates took things to a natural extreme. Case-in-point having Falco laid up for several days after an biking accident. Fox was never one to leave a man down, so when he got the call from the nurse he was usually up out of bed, something Wolf did not appreciate at all, making a beeline down Corneria&#039;s main street to the local hospital. What followed next was more often than not him chiding the other to no end for his recklessness, something the avian would always shout at him about, and then the two of them arguing for almost an hour on end. Of course by the time the other was fully healed the shouting match would have been forgiven and forgotten about and things would settle back to normal between them.<br /><br />Yet with his own husband...Fox was a little more anxious to deter the other from doing...whatever it was that the lupine had in mind.<br /><br />Especially after he got &#039;that&#039; look in his violet eyes.<br /><br />The vulpine shuddered as he recalled the eyes of the man who once looked at him with a gaze that promised death without remorse after flying side by side one another within the cold vastness of space several years prior.<br /><br />Watching his mate leave out of their apartment with that same look in his eyes, Fox could only hope that wherever his husband was going he&#039;d be back soon enough.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />11. Wolf knew he was getting old. That was the only way to describe how in the hell had almost gotten himself killed by a revolutionary with dreams of grandeur. The job had been simple enough; go and take the little fucker out. Quick, clean, and easy. Those were the kind of results O&#039; Donnell made happen and were the reason why people in power often came to him. However, in getting to where the other was Wolf found himself falling into a series of situations, the likes of which now left him wondering if getting those cybernetic enhancements weren&#039;t just an option but a must if he wanted to continue in this line of work.<br /><br />The mercenaries who the revolutionary had hired had set up a base on a remote island for which easily found by the Corneria government, so the job of finding the other was enough. Yet in quietly trying to scale the mountain side where the facility was - what with him having left his Wolfen a good seven miles undersea so as not to be detected by their surveillance - the lupine found himself having to stop every now and again as he fought to catch his breath. That was something that had not happened ten years ago. It took O&#039; Donnell nearly an hour to get up onto flat ground and by the time he did so he was short of breath and panting like his feral kin. A few deep breaths followed by a swig of water found him getting back on point though. Putting his natural night vision and stealth into play made sneaking up on the patrol very easy. A quick flex of his biceps around his captive&#039;s throat brought him much needed silence and security as he padded his way into the building.<br /><br />Of course, that was when things started to go to shit.<br /><br />He had tripped a silent alarm.<br /><br />A rookie mistake on his part, but excusable considering that the manor had installed a series of A.I.&#039;s which tracked everyone&#039;s individual biorhythm; this type of tech was usually only reserved for government facilities and would explain why those in Corneria&#039;s government wanted the target dealt with ASAP. Of course once the alarm was tripped several guards were on him like white on rice. That was fine with Wolf, seeing as he enjoyed a good brawl. Yet even as his claws tore into flesh and his laser pistol sliced through body armor more and more guards kept coming like locust within a proverbial storm.<br /><br />It was at this time that O&#039; Donnell seriously appreciated his ability to understand the value of a strategic retreat.<br /><br />Finding his way to a safe location within the facility proved to be an obstacle, as his very large frame made it somewhat difficult for him to hide in areas meant for most other Cornerians. A merry hell of a chase later found the lupine scaling the top of the roof towards where his target was located. But wouldn&#039;t you know it, just as he found the room where the other and was preparing to take an easy head-shot he got himself spotted. It was luck that saved his tail from being shot off as he threw himself through the window into the living area where his target was. The perpetrator of the Conerian government&#039;s current headache was quite surprised to see his large form roll with the force of his fall onto the carpeted floor in front of them, glass trailing around the O&#039; Donnell like a hail of rain. Time came to a standstill as Wolf drew himself up to look at the other, the face of the younger man eerily similar to his own at the other&#039;s age. The picture in the photo definitely didn&#039;t do the other justice.<br /><br />There were words spoken, or rather shouted, and then pistols came out as both lupines sought cover while attempting to shoot the other&#039;s head off. Once again, Wolf&#039;s larger frame made it hard as hell to hide anyplace, as not even the desk he tipped over was a good enough shield to keep him safe from the colorful blast of liquid energy which pelted into his direction. A stray shot next to the hand he kept his wedding band on made O&#039; Donnell see red and in a move so stupid it couldn&#039;t possibly fail, Wolf hefted the desk up and then charged straight at the other man. The younger Corneria tried to fire at where he thought the other lupine&#039;s head was but Wolf, even in his rage, was smart enough to keep low while performing his mad dash.<br /><br />The sound of him slamming into the other was loud enough to be heard outside of the hallway, yet by the time guards entered into the room it was already way to late to save their boss. Wolf hadn&#039;t spared the other anytime to counteract as he simply trailed his laser pistol down the length of the desk, pulling back the trigger all the while. When O&#039; Donnell pulled himself up there was visible blood on the older man&#039;s body armor, a clear sign that the other Corneria was dead, but just to make that clear to the others who burst in, gun&#039;s at the ready, Wolf hefted the desk up for everyone to see the bloody mess that was the now deceased lupine.<br /><br />A good thing about most other mercenaries was that when the boss died their contract with them was terminated. And it was because of this fact that O&#039; Donnell had no trouble literally walking out through the front door of the facility without so much as an eye being blinked his way.<br /><br />Now, most would have thought that the natural thing to do after going through all of that was to get one&#039;s money from the contractor and then go home, but that was not what Wolf did.<br /><br />Going down to his favorite dive the lupine flopped into his regular seat, ordered himself a thick brew, and then slipped off his wedding band. In between gulps of the thick liquid O&#039; Donnell curled the small golden ring back and forth inside of his palm, the light from the ceiling winking back at him almost tauntingly. A cute rabbit found herself quickly scurrying out of the bar when she tried to slip herself over into Wolf&#039;s lap; the no-nonsense glare the older man had given her being powerful enough to almost literally chill her down to the bone. Finishing his third drink O&#039; Donnell nodded, paid his tab, and then went to the hotel he normally reserved for when he wanted to be alone to plot. He fell asleep before he could do so, though.<br /><br />The next morning found Wolf seated uncomfortably onto a too small seat within a tattoo parlor, his wedding ring in the hands of a friend of a friend.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br />12. Wolf was an idiot.<br /><br />This was something Fox had known for a long time, a silent understanding that had plagued the vulpine ever since he had first encountered the lupine, however, in both dating and now being married to the other man...this fact was so apparent that it often made Fox&#039;s head hurt.<br /><br />Today was supposed to have been a simple day. The had gone to their lawyer&#039;s office the day before to talk about a legalize team merge and the cost and effects such a thing would have on both of their finances. Easy. The older tigress in the three piece suit had chatted with the two of them for hours on end about the ramifications of such a merger, whose credit line would be raised and whose would take a slight hit; it seemed that Wolf had a lot of unpaid transactions that had slipped the older man&#039;s mind, much to the Wolf&#039;s chagrin. However, at the end of the day paperwork was put through the works in order for signatures to be signed later on that week no problem. Cool. Fox had been really glad that things had worked out well, considering just how much he had been fretting about this whole process. It was no surprise that the younger man was slightly inept when it came to dealing with financial matters outside of handing out payroll stubs, Wolf had often made jokes about this fact after seeing the knot his husband, then boyfriend&#039;s, tail had curled itself it whenever the vulpine tried to count out bonuses on missions where the team&#039;s Arwings/Wolfens weren&#039;t shot up all to hell.<br /><br />Once they were about to leave the lawyer had then asked them a question for which neither man had thought about, and which was now causing the two husbands a small bit of stress.<br /><br />&#039;&#039;Whose logo would the both of them be using after the merger?&#039;<br /><br />Both Wolf and Fox had blanched at the question, as neither had thought much about such a thing, considering how...inconsequential it had seemed before now.<br /><br />Everyone knew by now that team Star Fox and Star Wolf were united, so if you wanted one group, you got the other free of charge. This in itself wasn&#039;t that much of a problem, seeing as the two groups were, above all, professionals and handled business with a level of professionalism that had made much of Corneria rethink the former scorn they had stigmatized Wolf&#039;s team with now that they were part of the &#039;good guys&#039;. The underworld on the other paw was not so forgiving as there had been a few...incidences which had led to lives being lost. No one either of the star teams since everyone tended to split off into pairs to watch one another&#039;s backs these days; it something of a laugh riot for many to see Panther and Falco together with Leon every other week. Regardless though, the two teams were as tight as two peas in a pod and no one had thought to rock the boat on the logos both groups shared, yet when the tigress had said, very pointedly, that once the merger began there couldn&#039;t be two teams documented onto the paperwork, unless they wanted to pay an extra fee for one of them being a subsidiary, they would need to decide what to call their new organization.<br /><br />This had led to Fox and Wolf calling a meeting.<br /><br />Everyone was a bit stumped at what name Fox and Wolf should call their group, not to mention what logo to use. Star Wolf&#039;s patented Wolf biting down on a star emblem was somewhat cherished by the former renegades, while Peppy and a few others were adamant about keeping James McCloud&#039;s old logo for sentimentality reasons. This had led to a bit of arguing between the everyone and had forced Fox into calling for a recess to things while he and Wolf went home to think of something. The two leaders had told everyone that they would accept names and art ideas from everyone, so that gave the others something to do besides snap at one another, yet in settling down at home to work out their own ideas...Wolf had proved what an idiot he was.<br /><br />- - - - - <br /><br /><br />Guest Character: <a href=\"http://www.furaffinity.net/user/bcoale\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://www.furaffinity.net/user/bcoale</a><br /><br />Art: <a href=\"http://www.furaffinity.net/user/beezlebumawoken/\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://www.furaffinity.net/user/beezlebumawoken/</a></span>",
