the Chancel's growth. In truth, their harbor is actually a rather new development, as they've had little motive to trade with outsiders until recently. What few foreign ports pepper Jizzral are quite distant, and the horrors that plague the ocean depths make journeying across them quite dangerous without the proper preparations and precautions.[/i]\n\n[i]Indeed, the spawn of Abhoth are as numerous beneath the sea as those who tread upon dry land - and with the Chancel's 'plumbing' efforts ended with its collapse, the unspeakable horrors of the depths surge ever-closer to the shore. Only one among these eldritch sea-beasts has managed to earn itself a reputation within the Chancel thus far - a vile creature that's capsized even the mightiest of vessels and converted entire fleets of seafaring Ladies and the Thralls they transported into writhing fuckfish abominations.[/i]\n\n[i]Dubbed the 'Womb of the Deep' by the scant few survivors who managed to escape her, L'rythos sows true madness amongst those who hear her siren song - luring even the most stalwart of ship-hands to steer closer, in reach of the titanic beast's grasping tendrils. One by one, the crew of these ships are plucked and devoured, given new life within her womb and reborn as heinous monstrosities beset by Abhoth's many gifts.[/i]\n\n[i]They may be the lucky ones, however, as at least they can surrender to her blissful caress.
