considered trustworthy or capable enough to serve as armed guardians for their Ladies - none, in fact, without special enchantments and fleshcrafting applications to ensure their obedience. Those strong and skilled enough to be chosen for bodyguard duties were often twisted with mental compulsions to protect and serve their assigned Lady with primal need. Such enchantments were not rare in the Chancel, of course, but this variety was especially potent and resistant to external tampering.[/i]\n\n[i]Further augmenting this mental tampering, a bevy of physical customizations were often used to further tailor these guardians to suit their role and their ladies tastes. Common changes included foreskin hoods and genital nullification to help them focus on only their duty.[/i]\n\n[i]These forsaken guardians that now roam the fallen Chancel are lost in a dream-like haze, searching for their Ladies while slowly succumbing to the beast plague.
