As was the case for many such sinful creatures rejected by the gods, his birth resulted in the demise of his mother he hungrily ate his way out of. His father, the dutiful head of the temple of Irori, knew at once what a cursed existence his gator-headed newborn would live, and how he should not suffer such a creature to live. But he could not bring himself to give him a merciful end - a mistake he would regret to the end of his days.\n\nInstead, Nahinbuk took his unsavory spawn and fled from his homeland, trekking across the Impossible Kingdoms of Vudra to the far west where tales of the Rakshasa were rare and he hoped his son could find means to blend in amongst cosmopolitan societies where countless cultures intermingled. For over a decade he traveled with the cursed youth in tow, evading the religious zealots that pursued them and often forsaking his own meals so that the boy's endless appetite could be sated. \n\nEventually, the old monk fell, unable to shake their pursuers, but buying enough time for Sahibuk to escape. The Rakshasa simply could not leave his father behind, though. Seeing his swift end at the hands of his former pupils ignited an unquenchable rage in the cursed creature, and before the night was through, not a single one of the faithful remained, all devoured without a trace. Left truly alone in this world, the Rakshasa next turned to his father's body, taking it within himself in a misguided effort to fill that Nahinbuk-shaped hole in his heart.\n\nMany years later, after decades spent in contemplation, perverting his father's monastic teachings into the corrupt methods of the Hungry Fist style, the Sin Monk was embroiled in a particular Contract Devil's schemes. Offered a means to snatch back his father's soul from the depths of hell where he was cast after turning away from Irori, Sahibuk jumped at the chance. And thus the contract was signed - the Rakshasa would perform a series of tasks for his new benefactor in exchange for his father's return to the mortal sphere.\n\nHe made his way to Baal's villa in Katapesh in the guise of a Hound Monk, where he awaited the arrival of Gauzhe, instructed to help the young Tiefling harness the hungering force within him. The badger never arrived, and once the Devil learned the boy had been intercepted by the forbidden Anizhar, he commanded Sahibuk to commit a grave atrocity in order to attract their attention and devour them. As payment, Sahibuk was re-united with his father early in a rather unexpected manner. The infernal rune drawn across his massive gut soon split open into a gaping, toothy maw that moved with a sentience all it's own. Though his sapience was withered by decades spent in the pits of hell, Sahibuk could feel his father's soul now resting within him. Delighted to be reunited, it was time he fulfill his end of the bargain, setting out to devour fifty mortal souls before the next day dawned, or else both he and his father would be cast back into the pit.\n\nFighting the Rakshasa and the Tinder Devils conjured to assist him tooth and nail, the Wayfarers were able to subdue Sahibuk, but not before Baal's villa was burnt down and his servants were consumed by Sahibuk's gluttonous rampage.\n\nTaking mercy upon the massive Rakshasa, Anizhar resolved to find a way to free him from the Devil's contract, in exchange for his service to the Wayfarers instead.\n\nAnd so the Wayfarers incurred great expense to employ a Priestess to the God of Law and Order, Abadar, to scour the contract for loopholes, and though unsavory, they managed to find one.\n\nLocating a single criminal of truly unredeemable nature, they engineered a cycle by which their sacrifice could be magically tracked, devoured by Sahibuk, sent to hell, located, and summoned back through Gauzhe's connection to the hellforge, and eaten again.
