It's amazing! It has action, suspense and characters you actually give a damn about. The gist of the story is that the nameless MC (seriously, he is never named. I just call him king since that's all he's ever called) died somehow and was reborn as a lowly goblin. Not wanting to die again, he uses his ambition, strength and smarts to rise in the ranks and become the Goblin King.\n\nWhile the premise is similar to the novel/manga Re:monster, Goblin Kingdom is completely different. For one thing, the MC isn't OP like Goburou (MC from Re:monster). King has the strength of a regular goblin. He just trains himself to get more skills and even then, he isn't all powerful. Goburou is a guy with OP skills who wins against everyone he goes up against and have orgies every night and sometimes well into the day. \n\nIn other words, Goburou is boring. There's nothing to look forward to. He goes into battle, obviously he wins, next scene. With King, I constantly wonder how he's going to get past the obstacle before him. When he loses, I'm there with him, sad at the loss of life but determined to see him win against them.
