  "description": "Based on the Folk Song \"Galway Farmer\" by Steve Knightley/Show of Hands. \nI thought it fitting to do a sporty pic due to the Olympics being in teh UK this year. \nGalway Bay the Racehorse is a Coal Black Mare with a WHite Star Chest\nOriginal ON FURBUY http://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1031646.html\n\nI work my days on a Galway farm\nIn the sun and rain, wind and storm.\nBut once a year I'll chance my arm,\nAnd cross the sea to England.\n\nI'll scrimp and save two thousand pounds,\nSpend a week in Cheltenham town,\nBut the racing over all weighs down;\nI come back poor from England.\n\nI dreamed one night before I left\nA coal-black mare with a white-star chest\nCrosesd the line and beat the rest\nI came back rich to Galway.\n\nRose at dawn, drove all day\nThinking, wond'ring all the way:\n\"Lady Luck have you come to stay,\nTo steal away my mourning?\"\n\nWhen I got to Cheltenham town,\nIrish faces all around.\nNo bed, no mattress to be found;\nI slept on the hillside.\n\nSpent three days in the viewing ring,\nSaw the horses as they lead in.\nJust when I was giving in\nI stood and stared in wonder.\n\nWith stamping hooves and steaming breath,\nA coal-black mare with a white-star chest.\nI ran my finger down the list,\nMatched the name and number.\n\nLady Luck had come half-way:\nThe horse's name was \"Galway Bay\".\n20-1 the odds that day.\nI went to make my wager.\n\nI counted out two thousand pounds,\nHeld it high, slapped it down.\nThe bookie smiled but made no sound.\nI knew what he was thinking.\n\nI was the biggest loser in the land.\nWith a pounding heart, shaking hand\nI made my way up to the stand\nAs the horses came to order.\n\nBut at the first, she nearly fell\nAnd I cursed my farmer's luck to hell.\nThe second and third she took quite well,\nBut way behind the leaders.\n\nThen moving sweetly from the back\nShe found the rails and caught the pack\nTen to go, and from the track,\nThe hooves were drumming thunder.\n\nInstrumental\nDrumming thunder!
