  "description": "A pic to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, a movie that has had a rocky start (as the first trailer would become infamous for its use of Gangsta's Paradise and the original design of Movie Sonic, which everyone hated), to the point where the film was delayed from its original release date of November 8, 2019 to Valentines Day of 2020, with the trailer debuting Movie Sonic's look (the one that would still be used to this day), premiering on November 12, 2019 (which was my 44th birthday, so Paramount gave me an unexpected birthday present).\n\n\n\nMy dad took me to see this as my Valentine's Day present (and was the last movie I saw in theaters for a while, as this was before the COVID-19 lockdowns started), and it was a good movie, taking the character and having him in a brand new universe where he teams up with Tom Wachowski, the sheriff of Green Hills, Montana, as he is hunted down by Dr. Robotnik and his henchman, Agent Stone.  The redesign was positively received, and the movie did so well, it would become a movie series, spawning a second and third movie, and a fourth movie confirmed to be in the works, as well as the Knuckles mini-series that was not really focused on Knuckles.",
