And the scene he witnessed was so unexpected that he had to blink three times to make sure he was not fooling himself. There were Confidence and Cheer rolling on the floor as they fought, while Champ desperately tried to separate the two. Suddenly, the fennec fighter seemed to apply a karate blow to the female bear, throwing her to the ground and lying on it, beginning to stifle her and preparing to punch her face.
The bear swordsman was speechless and not quite sure what to do. He had not seen who started the aggression, but he knew that if he did not do something to separate the two opponents, the fennec would certainly be able to hurt Cheer very much because he was a professional fighter. Shimmers was already preparing to use his Stare to keep the fox from continuing to assault the bear when he realized that Confidence had let go of his adversary and stood up, moving away.

It had been a fun idea of Funshine Bear, to use the Beastly figure on some of the targets to stimulate the training of bears and cousins, as well as being fun to train on that target and then hit the real Beastly with the Stare.
Not being able to use the Stare did Confidence very sad, especially after the two-day fiasco when Champ taught she and she failed. If she could demonstrate to Care Bear Family that she was doing her best to learn her methods...
- I can do it! - she said to herself with determination and confidence.
Placing himself in front of the target, Confidence glanced at him and remembered what Champ had said, to let her feelings flow inside her, without calling anything else around, and when she was ready everything would normally happen. Listening to those tales, they traveled along with Grams to any place in the world and history. It could be the America of the Spaniards, the Egypt of the Pharaohs, the Rome of the Caesars, the Switzerland of the woodcutters or the Africa of the conquerors, no matter the place or time, Grams Bear always had a story to tell his grandchildren, teaching them moral and sentimental values.

It had been a long, sad day for Champ, after all that had happened. He felt very sad and irritated with Cheer, for what she had done to Confidence, for it did not remind him of the sweet pink bear, always vain and cheerful, for which he fell in love. The jealousy that the young female bear felt for the sportsman had reached an unbearable point, and he decided to spend the day in the gym, doing what he liked best, to forget what had happened.
Many said that the bear athlete was obsessed with playing sports, but he did not think so. Just as Harmony was very fond of music, Bright Heart liked electronics, and Grumpy complained all the time, Champ only liked to compete regardless of whether he won or lost. Often the sportsman even hoped that his friends would defeat him in sporting matches, especially when it involved increasing his friends' self-esteem.
However, he could not escape reality forever, especially now that it was dusk and he needed to go home. With slow steps, the teenager walked down the rainbow street until he stood in front of the gate and looked at the house, wishing he had turned 18 years old so he could live alone and not need to listen to insults or have his life controlled by the elders.
As he opened the door, he saw Cheer Bear sitting on the couch with her arms folded and brow furrowed. His girlfriend was waiting for him.

- You will not! - replied the female bear, running down the corridor.
The two of them laughed now, enjoying the game. They no longer remembered the discussion they were having until two minutes earlier. There they were just what they should always be: happy and fun, without quarreling with each other. Champ did not know if this had been intentional on Cheer's part, but it was effective for both to stop the raid.
Quickly the female bear rushed into her room, and tried to close the door behind her, but Champ was faster and entered the room too, locking it and holding the key in his hands.
- Now you can’t get away - he said in a malicious tone - Give it back, or you'll regret it.
- You'll have to come and get it - Cheer said maliciously, again spinning the strip in her fingers carefree.
The bear jumped on his girlfriend, who dodged once more and ran for the door. But that gave enough time to Champ grab her from behind. Gently he laid her flat on the floor as she laughed and tried to break free. He lay on top and grabbed her by the wrists.
- I asked you to return my hair band - he said with a smile.
- Someone already told you are more beautiful without this band in your hair? - asked Cheer, too, smiling with languid eyes - You seem to be a lot more responsible in this way...
As Champ held her loosely by her wrists now, she managed to pull her arms and, with her hands free, gently ran her fingers through his hair. They both felt strange, a feeling they had never had before. Their bodies touching like that, the sweet, loving look they exchanged with each other, the languid sweet smile that appeared on their lips.
- Looks very hot today - said the male bear.
- Yes, it's very hot - agreed the female bear.
Slowly the two approached the snouts and then gave a long kiss on the mouth, while Champ delicately took off the jacket of Cheer, which was the only piece of clothing she wore, and threw it aside. Now the two of them were only with their fur covering, lying on top of each other.
- You're beautiful, you know? - asked the sportsman - You're the most beautiful female bear I've ever seen.
- I can say the same about you, my dear - the female bear answered - You're handsome anyway, even sweaty like now. And your eyes are more beautiful than all the stars in the sky.

They both smiled non-stop, before they touched their noses and kissed, feeling their warm bodies caress each other. Slowly Champ and Cheer soon realized that love was not just a feeling, it was carnal as well. And that worried them a little.

The female bear thought for a few seconds until she pulled her boyfriend back and kissed him lightly on the mouth.

Slowly the two of them kissed, without worrying about the future, they only took advantage of the warmth they felt at that moment more than special, in which both permanently sealed their union and their destinies, even if this still brought much displeasure towards the other inhabitants of Kingdom of Caring.
