I am by no means an expert on cub behavior or psychology. With that out of the way here we go:\n\nFirst we have the as I like to call it the Direct Approach to cubbish punishments. These are usually quick and get right to the point of the matter. These get the punishment out of the way and the disobedience is handled as well. Some of these are:\n\n1. Back talk\n2. Cursing\n3. Skipping Chores\n4. Attitude issues\n5. Missing Curfew\n6. Bad Grades (at caretakers discretion)\n\nThere might be other things that a caretaker can think of for this list but those are just some of the basics I could think up real fast. Now for those actions listed above there would be consequences for them and these are up to the caretaker to decide. They can be:\n\n1. Spanking (tried and true)\n2. Mouth soaping\n3. Corner time/time out\n4. Grounding\n5. Extra Chores\n\nThese can be used as a single punishment for combined for different effects. As said before these are up to the caretaker to decide. \n\nNow this next for punishments follows a point system of sorts. The caretaker has a list of misbehaviors and by each one of those is a number value (determined by the caretaker and cub). This gives a sort of visual representation of the punishments and where the cub can do better to avoid getting into trouble. The total amount of misbehavior values is tallied at the end of the week and a punishment is given accordingly. Some values may also have punishments attached to them to be handed out at the time the offense occurs. \n\nNow for example say that the cub has been very good for the week but has had an issue with their attitude at times and a few instances of back talking their caretaker. These thing would be added to the weekly total and possibly for the amount the cub earns it would mean a timeout or lecture. \n\nHere is an example of the point system:\n\nBack talk = 1 point (3 points for each time after first)\nCursing = 3 points and mouth soaping (5 points for each time after first)\nSkipping Chores = 3 points (5 points for each time after first)\nMissed Curfew = 5 points (7 points for each time after first)\nBad Grades = 5 points and weekend grounding (10 points for each time after first)\n\nHere is the list of punishments from the total of the values:\n\n1-4 points = lecture about behavior\n5-9 points = lecture and time out\n10-15 points = grounding for one week\n15-20 points = spanking and grounding for one week\n20+ points = maintenance spankings every other day for one week\n\nThis can be effective as the cub can see what they do wrong and how to avoid them. This method I find to be kind of long and if a spanking is due the cub can become stressed and only make their situation worse but for some this is effective and does wonders. \n\nThe last method I know of that I find that works rather well is the Punishment Diary/Behavior Log. This method basically has the cub write down how they did that day in their schooling, at home, or what ever else they did. They write both the good and the bad things that happened. \n\nAt the end of the week the caretaker sits down with the cub and reads over the Behavior Log. Once the reading for the weeks activities is done the caretaker can decide is a reward or punishment is required. This give the cub a sort of active role in their behavior and punishments. They are basically in control of whether they get a punishment or not. \n\n------\n\nWell there you have it. Those are three basic methods of cub raising I know of and that I like. These can make great guides for any stories, RP's, or artwork you cub get into these days. So feel free to use it as you will. \n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Cubbish punishment Styles<br />------<br />First and foremost these are things I&#039;ve read about how they work and what kind of effect they can possibly have.
