I used to be king of the digital world, well.. until now at least. About sometime ago, we began getting ideas from the human world causing a major influence to my kingdom.\n\nOver time, more and more ideas poured in. Prologue

Hello readers... my name is Shoutmon. I used to be king of the digital world, well.. until now at least. About sometime ago, we began getting ideas from the human world causing a major influence to my kingdom.

After that I was told to stay in my village until everything had been done, I refused to go, but the old Xros heart/Fusion heart team members convinced me, causing me to miss out on a ton of things.

Now, It's been 2 months, and I can finally see all the changes, anyway right now It's morning so... let's get on with my story.

Chapter 1

[Shoutmon pov] (Point of view)

I had been awake for the last 10 minutes, thinking mostly about the old monarchy that had broken down.

(I miss the old days... when I was with Taiki/Mikey.. I also miss being king and helping everyone out..) 

" Erk, why am hi thinking about this now?! I got a big day ahead of me." I noted to myself, slapping my cheeks with both of my paws. I stayed still even after my cheeks throbbed.

(Ow... WAIT I CAN FINALLY VISIT! WHY DO I KEEP SITTING AROUND?!)

I quickly got out of my PJ'S and wrapped a yellow scarf around my neck.

After thinking a bit more, I shook my head and headed downstairs to the kitchen to start my usual morning routine.

[In the kitchen....]

I ran in, and shouted:

"JIjiMon!! What's for brea-" *sfx* 'Snerk.. 'My words got interrupted by a snore.

I looked down, and saw Jijimon fast asleep on the floor. "...Seriously?! Can't this old man take care of himself?!"

(Oops! did I say that out loud?!)

I made a late reaction and covered my mouth. (H-he's still asleep right..?)

I stared at him sprawled out on the floor and observed him closely. His eyes were still closed, but he had stopped snoring. 

"Whew.." I mumbled, wiping a drop of sweat on my forehead as I turned around to open the pantry.

(I'm glad I didn't wake him up, he got really grumpy the last time I did... partially because I stepped on him.)

I looked around for a few seconds, until I suddenly felt a blunt object whack my head.

"OW!" I exclaimed wincing in pain. I turned around and shouted:

"What was that for!!" 

 .     .       .       .

"Who're you calling old, for the umpteenth time, huh Shoutmon?!" Jijimon said with an annoyed voice.

(Ugh...He acted so nice around Taiki/Mikey... Now he's back to his old grumpy self...)

"J-just go back to sleep old man..." 

*sfx* 'CRACK' ((No his head did not break))

His cane split in half, as it came down on my head, causing me to roll on the ground while holding my head in pain.

[A moment of seeing a lot of 🐤🐦🐤🐦 later]

" ....!!!! That. HURTS! That's the third cane this MONTH!." 

I whined as I got up and stroked my head to sooth the pain.

"YOU GOT TO EAT AND GET YOURSELF A JOB!" Jijimon shouted in my ear, making me cover my ears and glare at him.

(Why does he always have to be such a grumpy old fart... Although he's right... I almost forgot about getting a job.. but that was no reason to whack me) I thought, as I cursed him with my inner voice.

"I. Was. Getting. To. That. Ji-ji-mon" I said in an annoyed tone to let him know I was angry.

I grabbed a piece of bread and walked towards the door. "WAIT!!" Jijimon shouted. I let go of the door handle and walked back.

"What does he want now?!" I grumbled under my breath.
