He was humming the rhythm to a new song. \n“Manic!” Sonia yelled.\n“Wha?” Manic replied.\nManic realized what he walked in on and proceeded to walk up the stairs to his room with Sonia walking behind and scolding him. Sonic proceeded to face palm as Sally giggled. \n‘Well… this is….the usual for my family.’ Sonic thought.\n‘I guess that’s normal.’ Sally thought.\nThen, Queen Aleena walked into the room in her usual white and yellow dress. She saw Sonic and Sally and smiled. She walked over to them and introduced herself.\n“Hello, my son.” \n“Hi Mom.” Sonic said, looking at the queen. Then, he looked at Sally.” Oh, Mom. Meet Princess Sally of the Donguri Kingdom.” \nQueen Aleena’s face quickly changed from a warm smile to a concerned look. “Do you mean the kingdom that was destroyed by Dr. Eggman?”\n“Yes…” Sally sadly responded.\n“I’m so sorry.”\n“Thank you…..” Sally sighed while trying to think of something else to say. “Maybe we could have defeated Dr. Eggman if the Sonic Underground had been there to help.”\n“Why do you say that?”\n“From what I used to hear, Sonic Underground was very successful in destroying Dr. Robotnik’s plans. Then, when they reunited with you,” Sally said as she looked at Queen Aleena,” they defeated Dr. Robotnik for good.”\n“I wish we could have helped.” Sonic said.\n“Well, what’s done is done. Now, how about we think about the future.” Queen Aleena said while winking to Sonic. \nSonic blushed as he scratched the back of his neck with his right hand. Sally thought she knew what the Queen meant. But, she didn’t know that Sonic was to be crowned king soon.
