The day Sonic dreaded. The day he had to pick a wife so he could be crowned king. He was so stressed about that day. He hated the kingdom’s laws about how the prince had to have a wife to be crowned king. Originally, he was hoping Manic would be king. But, Manic said he was never getting married. Sonia could have been crowned ruler of the Mobotropolis Kingdom because she was already dating Bartleby. But, that only would’ve worked if she was an only child. So, Sonia was out of the question. \n\nSonic was out on one of his morning runs when he was thinking about that day again. \n\nTwo kings had offered Sonic their daughter’s hand in marriage. There was Princess Amy Rose from the Youbanme Kingdom and Princess Blaze from the Mirai Kingdom. Princess Amy was head over heels for Sonic. But, he thought she was annoying. Princess Blaze was really nice, and more mature than Princess Amy. But, he would rather have Princess Blaze as a friend rather than a wife. \n\nSo wrapped up in his thoughts, Sonic stopped running. He kept thinking for a minute then looked up. As he was looking up, he saw a girl wrapped in a long brown hooded cloak. He approached the girl to take a closer look. The girl noticed Sonic and just stared at him. As Sonic came closer, he started talking.\n\n“Hi there. What are you doing all the way out here on the edge of the kingdom?” asked Sonic. \nThe girl said nothing as she shivered.\n“You must be cold.”\n“N-no…n-not re-really.” She said, still shivering. \n“Oh come on. I see you shivering.”\nThe girl sighed and then nodded.\n“I can help you. But, how ‘bout you tell me your name first.”\n“I’m Princess Sally Acorn of the Donguri Kingdom.”\n“Isn’t that the kingdom that got taken over and then destroyed by Dr. Eggman.” Sonic said surprised.\n“Yes.” Princess Sally said while a tear slid down her face.\n“The other kingdoms thought there were no survivors. Not even Eggman.”\n“I’m the only one left from my kingdom…”\n“So, how about we stop talking about sad things and get you warmed up.”\nPrincess Sally nodded.\n“Ok. Let’s go.” Sonic said while picking Princess Sally up bridal style. \n“Wha?” a confused Princess Sally said.
