From left to right, top:
Dust al-Khemi
The undead, reanimated body of Areku's dead uncle who died an honorable death in war. Due to Areku's proper worship to Anubis, the jackal god gave him Dust to serve him as a guardian and company for the night. He is able to use some dark magic involving draining souls and energy as well as tentacles.
Eren al-Khemi
The current Nomarch of Zawty, the 13th Nome of Upper Egypt. He is the head of the family and rules Zawty, the city of the white jackal, in the favour of the pharaoh. Eren is determined, stable in his ruling and more of a traditionalist. Order and law must be maintained in the city as well as there must be guidance for the people. Sometimes his traditional view of the world collides with his son's more modern and open interpretations, but he is slowly opening up. Currently he is married to Abasai al-Khemi. He is more built and stronger and bigger than his son as he fought in the last war and keeps his body in shape since then.
Makare de Anubis
Current Nomarch of Hardai, the 17th Nome of Upper Egypt. A very good friend of the family and ally of reforming the law in Hardai and Zawty to meet modern standards while keeping faith towards Anubis, the father of all jackals. He is a cuntman and equipped with a special curse to hunt down those who oppose him and don't take him as a man.
Middle layer:
Areku al-Khemi
The prince of Zawty and headpriest of Anubis. He is responsible for Mass service and give guidance and shelter for those who need it. Anubis and his father Eren had some problems with his very very lax and open interpretation of his faith, but after Areku returned to keep closer to the ways both calmed down around him. Still he is somewhat of a reformer and connection between old religion, his culture and the modern people. He currently trains Netou in rituals and service. He is married to Osiris.
Bottom layer:
Osiris of Rhiyad
Current pharaoh of Osahar and husband of Areku al-Khemi.
Netou al-Khemi
The young boy is just around 10 or 11 years old, but possesses the wits of an adult. He is pretty mature for his age and is able to communicate with Anubis, serving as a medium for the god. He is somewhat of Areku's conscience, reminding him to stay upright and faithful, not bringing disgrace to the family and their god. Netou is Areku's half-brother after all and Eren's illegitimate son.
Nefer de Anubis
Current Royarch of the House de Anubis. She is far more advanced with the dark magic and sinister summonings of Bandages, shadow tentacles and more than her adoptive brother Areku. She has gifted her brother Makare with a Curse and represents the small group of shemale Anubian jackals and Anubis' long forgotten aspect, Anput.
Abasai al-Khemi
Former Head General of the Zawtian forces, Abasai was in charge for coordination and training of all jackal guards and soldiers who protect the temple and the city. He gained this position by his superior built and his long experience he had alongside Eren during the last war. Eren and Abasai then took a long time to admit to each other that they have feelings for each other and after asking guidance from Anubis and Areku, both decided to marry. Abasai is currently the second man in Zawty, experiementing with the royal luxery, but still being there as a military advisor for the Nomarch.
Adara of Rhiyad
Mother of Osiris and concubine of Eren al-Khemi. She is also in charge for the servants and harem members of the temple and brothel. A little bit on the traditional side she is well experienced and the female voice in the temple.
